I have to say that the staff of The Oswalt Law Firm (Mesa) is by far one of the most professional establishments that I've had the pleasure of partnering with. I called the office to confirm my retainer balance and after hearing I wasn't as close to the payoff amount that I had in my head, I mentioned possibly cancelling because I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. To my surprise [redacted] called me and after discussing my issue he said he didn't talk to Mrs. [redacted] and call me back.

[redacted] kept his word and called me back the next day to advise to ease the financial stress to meet the deadline to pay, Mrs. [redacted] agreed to reduce my retainer by $400.... im more than elated.

I had a very good experience with the Oswalt Law group. They took a big load off of my shoulders and handled all the creditors so that I didn't have to stress about it or deal with hounding phone calls.

Please note the service fees start out from the day that you sign contract NOT the day you finish paying them. I am FORCED to file or loose all that money I put in. Thank you Oswalt for being so considerate and calling me back after a month and ten days I called Sept. 5, 2013. I wish I could say that this company is so great and show great consideration and understanding about the people's unforeseen problems (Air conditioner half off right now) but they don't care and did not offer any money back and said that I would default every penny because they have put in so much work since JULY 13,2013 when I turned in some paper work for them to start paperwork that is where they left off I have not turned in anything else. Please ask about the cancelation policy and when it starts Please don't make the same mistake I have.. I do not recommend

I hired Oswalt Law Group to represent me for my chapter 7 bankruptcy case and not only have they have let me make payments each month for my bankruptcy they worked with me on the payments when I couldn't afford to make them each week. They have always done what they say they will do and the staff is personable but professional. Oswalt is the exception when it comes to hiring a bankruptcy attorney.

Review: I paid for a bankruptcy service from the law group, financed the price plus the court costs. By the time I finished the payments and began to proceed with the bankruptcy, they notified me that they cannot represent me. They have a return policy for money collected that leaves 0 dollars to be returned after a finance obligation.

They have not performed any service or any action to or for my account.

They refuse to proceed with my bankruptcy and refuse to return the money, which equal 2300 USD.Desired Settlement: Full refund of my money.

Everyone I met in the Tempe office or spoke with on the phone during my Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing, from the receptionists, billing account person, to attorneys were all very courteous, understanding and helpful during this financial ordeal I experienced for the first time in my life. I would definitely recommend Oswalt Law Group.

Review: We hired the Oswalt Law Group to handle our bankruptcy case in February 2014. We were assigned an attorney, met with him to go over details of our case. We had questions regarding our vehicles. At the time our assigned attorney advised us not to pay our truck payment until issues were resolved. We followed his advice. We were contacted by the truck credit company and were told they were coming to repossess our truck if we didn't pay what was owed. We paid, and then complained to the attorney about what happened. The attorney then sent a letter to the bankruptcy court releasing himself and the company from our case - leaving us to handle any bankruptcy issues on our own. As a result, we lost one vehicle and had to pay the trustee on the other one. We were no better off filing the bankruptcy than before we did. During the process of the proceedings a company took money out of our bank account. We contacted the attorney, and their advice was to open another bank account. This company has misrepresented itself from the beginning.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund because they never completed the job and in the long run cost us more money and was totally misrepresented from the start.
