 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Seller's website claimed to be Revdex.com accredited and they are not. We believe they deal in bad faith and overcharged us. We would not have dealt with them had we known they were not Revdex.com accredited as that generally assures us we won't be ripped off. They made a false claim on their website and thus we should be able to get a refund based on a false claim, one that lead us to choose to do business with them.We are concerned that a business can falsely claim to be Revdex.com accredited and get away with it

We are a 3rd party ticket reseller who filled this order.  Order was NOT placed on our website.  Customer ordered TRUE 3rd row ticket which comes at a premium and agreed to all terms and conditions at checkout only to have buyers remorse later.  All sales are final.

I never received our 3 tickets for the Wilco show in Phila on04 June 2016. When I called the company I originally ordered from (T[redacted]r) I ended up being transferred to outofthisworld and got a voicemail.
So - we never received the tickets and when we went to the event, and gave them our confirmation number the venue was not able to retrieve or honor our ticket purchase! The box office described this "service" as a "scalper" and said this was NOT uncommon.
I will NEVER use this "service" again!
BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT buy from ticketsoutofthisworld or t[redacted] - buy directly from the venue.
I will be contacting Revdex.com and Consumer Fraud to report this.

I am sorry for your issues with the site you purchased from, we only fulfill orders for this site and it is not owned, operated, or controlled by Out of This World Tickets.  You would need to contact them direct to discuss their service charges.  Though we collect these costs we are part...

of a group called [redacted] that allows our inventory to be distributed to multiple websites.  We collect the fees but they are returned to [redacted] and distributed to the site where the sale was made.In the future you can use our site direct and no costs as masked.  All service charges, ticket prices, etc are all displayed prior to finalizing the checkout process. If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask.Thank you.-Jason

By attempting to go directly to my local theater web page, where I wanted to purchase my tickets here in PHX, AZ, somehow I was redirected to your second-hand venue. In what should have cost me $73 per ticket, inclusive of fees, I wound up paying $184 per ticket, and this was in section 3, row 13.

What a scam and rip-off this purchase was. I have no idea who your company is as I'd never heard of Out-Of-This-World-Tickets. How I became redirected to your website, was unapparent until it became time to pay. I am not happy about being charged two 1/2x's the amount of what my tickets should have cost me. The $368 total inclusive of fees was not rendered until the order was in processing mode at which point it then stated that, "ALL SALES WERE FINAL." I was shocked, to say the least.

The fact that the concert was in PHX, AZ, where I live, there is no rational explanation for me to utilize an unknown out-of-state vendor to have made this purchase. In speaking with other patrons sitting in the same row as I was, they had only paid $73 per ticket; there is no reason why I would have knowingly used a non-local vendor to purchase tickets for a LOCAL concert. At the time, there was also no customer service number or contact phone number for patrons to reach out to your business either. Treating prospects this way does not warrant repeat customer loyalty.

I would never Out of This World Tickets again. The tickets I was suppose to get were not the same as I had requested. On top of the fact that I paid premium prices for less desireable seats, I was charged $45 service fee PLUS $7.95 to have my tickets e-mailed to me. Major rip off. Check out the other complaints on this company before using them.

Review: I ordered tickets for a Peter Pan show for $287.00 for my wife and me. An emergency came up, so I tried to cancel. They were adamant and unyielding. They did not have the right contact info for my debit card. They had my home address rather than my work address. They also never communicated to me where I would pick-up the tickets. So I have nothing to show for this expenditure. They did not even offer to use this money for another ticket. I have also filed a complaint with my [redacted] account.Desired Settlement: I believe that Out of This World owes me a refund.

Review: My husband and I purchased two tickets to the music artist [redacted] concert, to be held here in [redacted], TX, on Tuesday, May 13. However, due to childcare and financial issues, we are unable to attend. Therefore, we put the tickets we purchased from Out of This World Tickets ([redacted], MD according to its website) on the ticket sale site, [redacted], so that [redacted] could sell them for us.

I received a call from a customer service rep, [redacted], at [redacted] this morning. I called back and was told that another person was trying to sell their [redacted] tickets...one of which was the exact same seat we were in possession of from Out of This World Tickets. HOWEVER, [redacted] told us that the other seller did indeed buy their tickets from [redacted].com, the authorized ticket broker for the concert. That means OUR ticket was invalid and theirs was valid. Having said that, there was no mention of the OTHER of our two tickets being invalid (and could very well be, but I have not been notified of that yet).

I immediately had [redacted] delete our sales listing, as they said my husband and I would be held liable if our tickets were to sell and that buyer was denied entrance at the gate. I called Out of This World Tickets and spoke with a rep named [redacted] ([redacted]? [redacted]?), who was very short with me and curt, literally telling me, "Yeah, yeah, yeah....I'll let someone know." Well, we waited. And we waited....and never heard back from Out of This World Tickets. I emailed the company and provided our order number ([redacted]), indicating that we demand an explanation as to why one of our tickets (ORCHESTRA, ROW *, SEAT [redacted]) was ALREADY sold by [redacted].com and naturally demanded recourse.

After TWO emails and TWO phone calls ([redacted] answered each time, indicating this is not a large business), we are now stuck with a bogus ticket and a single, HOPEFULLY NOT bogus ticket that we will have a VERY difficult time selling, as most people do not like to go to concerts alone. We want to pursue this to the fullest extent of the law and simply want our money back for the ONE ticket that has been proven to be bogus.Desired Settlement: We want a refund for the one ticket out of the two we purchased that has been proven to be double booked. Since the other buyer purchased that seat via the authorized dealer, we are the ones holding a meaningless piece of paper which cost more than $100 per ticket. We only want the refund for the bogus ticket and will deal with the other ticket separately should it also be proven to be a fake.

Again, this was order number [redacted]) through Out of This World Tickets. We demand a refund for half the amount of our total purchase.

Review: I ordered (2) concert tickets for [redacted] concert. They sent a sheet of paper by [redacted] that stated the seats number section etc. The price pd. which totaled 329.40. I called and was confirmed by a girl by the name of [redacted].The night of the concert we was told at the door this was just paper no tickets.I had to purchase (2) more tickets for the concert, the lady at the [redacted] center wrote on the paper that this wasn't tickets and that I had to purchase tickets again. I called out of this world tickets 3 times talked with a man that said his name was [redacted] the first time was told I would be called back, but received no call ,the next day talked with [redacted] again,he was very rude kept asking why I didn't call sooner about no tickets being sent ,I tried to explain to him I didn't know I had no tickets til that night of concert,I had never ordered concert tickets before. Then he put me on hold and didn't return,Later I called back he preceded to start yelling at me again I tried to explain to him I didn't know that the paper wasn't tickets. He got my e-mail and told me he would e-mail their answer and where to send a copy of the paper I did receive that the lady at the [redacted] center had wrote that it wasn't tickets that was 10 days ago.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund,

Response:

In response to this complaint. Yes we shipped an invoice to this buyer on 10/25/13 and this was signed for on 10/30/13. This invoice was just a confirmation of this buyer's order with all the pertinent information on it. Then on 10/30/13 we shipped the actual tickets which were delivered and signed for on 11/04/13. When we ship the invoice it clearly says invoice on it and it is one sheet of paper. When the tickets are shipped they are shipped with information on the tickets etc. This buyer clearly took the wrong paper with her and did not take the tickets like she was instructed to do. Although we feel bad for this buyer this was not our fault as we did ship this buyer her tickets and if she had any doubt she could have called us or taken both packages with her to the venue and that way she would have had the tickets as well. We feel we did our due diligence with this order and do not feel a credit is due. These tickets were not able to be used by us again as buyer had these tickets. Please see attached the two [redacted] signatures and also a copy of the invoice that was sent to buyer. We always put customer service first and feel like we did all we could at the time. Please let us know if you need any further information.Thank you,[redacted]Office ManagerOOTWT

Review: I was looking for tickets to a show at the [redacted] Arena in [redacted] NH. I put in the information and this site pulled. It looked like [redacted]. The ticket delivery policy is that they would mail the tickets, email the tickets or leave the tickets at the box office. After I order the tickets I received an email stating that I would meet someone named [redacted] and he would walk me into the show. I am a widow. I am not meeting some man I don't know to get into any place. I immediately called their office and spoke to the answering service and they passed the information on. I also emailed them. I called my credit card company and they said I could not cancel till the bill posted. I called [redacted] Arena and they were aware of this site and how they make it look like it is from [redacted] when in fact the [redacted] utilizes [redacted]. I called the attorney generals office and they wrote up a complaint. Both the [redacted] and the Attorney General's office said it sounded like a scam and I should cancel the tickets. I emailed Out of this world again and told them what I had done and that I was canceling the tickets. The Owner ([redacted]) admitted that the tickets should have been listed as a local pickup vs paperless and that was his fault. This was on May 5th. Then he said something about a gift card. He explained that the reason he has this guy [redacted] meet you is to get you and make sure there is no issue. When I buy tickets, I want the ticket. At this point the charge is being disputed.Desired Settlement: I want a refund to my credit account. On advice from the AG's office I canceled the tickets and purchased the elsewhere - real tickets.

Business

Response:

Good Morning, may tickets for may events are currently paperless. Paperless tickets are credit card entry and often the best seats in the venue. The only way to gain admission is via the credit card used to purchase these tickets. This means a rep from our company will meet the customer at the venue, scan the credit card used for purchase, and ensure the customer gains entry into the venue. This is common practice and we, as a smaller company, do hundreds of these a year. Our reps all have agreements with our company and handle the ticket delivery in a professional manner. The ticket delivery method is explained at the time of purchase as well as the all sales are final stipulations. I wish there was a better way to resolve this but just because the customer feels they now don't like what they chose should not be a reason to cancel. Tickets are a fluid market with prices constantly changing, this is the reason for the no cancellation policy that the customer agreed to.Unfortunately, we cannot refund this customers purchase and will fight the chargeback as this customer was aware of the process at the time of purchase. All customers are met on venue grounds and the process is not 'unsafe' in any way.Thank you.

As stated in my original complaint - The Owner ([redacted]) admitted that the tickets should have been listed as a

local pickup vs paperless and that was his fault. This was on May 5th.

- They admitted the sale of the ticket was not clear at the time of purchase. I had attached [redacted]'s email with my original complaint. Not sure how they can deny this when it is in writing.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. Response:

We have reviewed this file and made a decision that we will refund the purchase price of this order. Though this is not allowed by the website she purchased from we will absorb the $200+ loss in fees and service charges becuause of [redacted]'s concerns. We maintain that any reputable pit tickets will be the same delivery method as our purchase so if you have purchased other 'non paperless/loacl picup' [redacted] tickets beware.
