Hi my name is [redacted] (owner) of Tony's Roofing Services, LLC In regards to our contract signed by [redacted] and Tony's Roofing Services, LLC, our price, and products were based on [redacted] 's insurance estimate Her insurance paid for her roof, window glazing, gutters, and interior damaged caused by a hail storm [redacted] only hired us to Re roof her roof Her insurance only paid for the products that she had on her roof, now we upgraded her roof with higher quality materials such as a (30yr PATRIOT SHINGLE) verses the 25yr 3-tab shingle with only a mph warrant, BULLET BOOT PIPE FLASHING verses the rubber boot pipe flashing, WINTER GUARD IN THE VALLEYS verses valley metal, AND THE ONE [redacted] IS DISPUTING SNYTHETIC UNDERLAYMENT verses the lbfelt that she had on before I have attached a copy of our contract that clearly shows there is no manufacture name next to the synthetic underlayment although the product we used was black in color as the lbfelt she had on there roof before I can reinsure [redacted] that it is not the same product and it is a better, and high quality product We are supplying [redacted] with a extended 20yr manufacture warranty through Certain Teed the shingle manufacture which have giving me the approval to use this product so that the extended warranty that we purchase for [redacted] will be a full replacement manufacture warranty up to 20yrs with no deductiblesI have also attached a copy of the material receipts, [redacted] 's itemized insurance estimate, and a copy of our material list form to support what I have explainedFYI this was also explained to [redacted] over the phone the day we were asking for the remaining balanceWhile we were on the phone she was over looking the contract because we agreed to take off the $charge to take down the gutters and reinstall them since we did not have to remove them to re roof her roofBefore we hung up said gave us permission to go over the same day to pick up the agreed new balancePlease feel free to contact me with any question @ [redacted] Thanks in advance- [redacted] ***?

Reading through our notes we have created a work order for us to go out to property take a look at the leak but this time we are requesting to do a water test to see exactly where the leak is coming fromThis will require us to have access to the interior of the home and attic which coordinating the roofer, Tony's Roofing Services representative, and homeowner has been challengingI called both numbers today provided by the Revdex.com and also emailed the homeowner todayI provided the homeowner my phone number to get ahold of me @ [redacted] I will wait to hear back f on [redacted] so we can schedule date and time

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have been told since the first of May by various representatives of Tony's Roofing Service that the damages and improperly installed chimney flashing would be corrected I have also been told by representatives from Tony's Roofing Services that they are not responsible for any damages and that the flashing was installed correctly This after having already been told by a representative of Tony's Roofing that the chimney flashing was not installed correctly and they would take responsibility for the damage to the patio cover and chimney cap Rather than fix the problems Tony's Roofing Service has created further problems by covering up the original mistakes with trim Tony's Roofing has had ample time to repair and replace the damage they have caused to my home which they have not even attempted to do Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] Our first contract we signed had 11/inch drip edge, which would had been fine if they didn't replace the deckingAfter signing the contract, [redacted] informed us our decking wasn't up to code so at that time he should had changed the size of the drip edge from 1/inch to inchWhen you go from a very thin decking to a much thicker decking that should had given them red flags to change the size of the drip edge before they even started working on our houseWe got a call from [redacted] stating [redacted] was coming to get his check and explain to her that we are still waiting for a invoice that [redacted] was suppose to had sent to us couple of weeks ago, but we never got itShe originally said the invoice was done back on 09/08/2016, but I told her the work wasn't completed until 10/07/She checked and said [redacted] needed the modification on the invoice and the guy who was working in insurance department is no longer working there [redacted] is the new guy and since he is still training she was going to get [redacted] to do the modification, and than send us a copy of the invoice, but so far we haven't received a invoice nor anything that breaks down the priceWe don't need the company to respond, because it keeps going back and forth plus they, like other companies will do, will point the finger at the customersIf they had never overlook the Chimney cricket and re-flashing, we never would had file a complaintAfter several attempts trying to get it done, we felt we had no other choice but to file the complaintThe roof was done back in July and the job wasn't finish till OctoberWe are firm believers that God can bring blessings out of things we go throughMaybe this help [redacted] and his guys realize how important it is to always return customers calls promptly and efficientlyAlso, how important it is to get the job done on time and done correctlySometimes it doesn't pay to take short cuts nor hire outside subcontractors, because it can cost the company in the long runCustomers should always come firstCustomers, like what we went through, shouldn't have to follow through and asking when is the work going to doneAlso, no matter how busy you get phone calls as well as text messages should always be answered Regards, [redacted] And [redacted]

To whom this may concern, this is [redacted] owner of ***'s Roofing Services, LLCMr ***, homeowner called me while I was out of town and scheduled for me to come out and take a look at the leak around the chimney, which we went out a week or two ago and didn't find any issues with the roofing which could have caused a leak around the chimney but we went ahead and re sealed around roof penetrations and etcsince we were on top of the roof alreadyI did set the appointment to come out the following Monday when I would have arrived back into town, now I could have accidentally given Mr [redacted] the previous Monday date which I take full responsibility if in fact I didI arrived back in town Saturday night and notice this complaint with the Revdex.com and first thing Sunday morning I called Mr [redacted] to apologize for the miscommunication and ask if I could go out that afternoon to take a look at the leak around the chimneyWhen I arrived I spoke to the tenants and asked them if I could go inside and take a look at the leak before I got on top of the roof she said that there was no leak so I immediate called Mr [redacted] to get some kind of clarification of the situationMr [redacted] said they were selling there home and based on the inspection report it recommended for a flashing to be installed around the chimney which the chimney already has flashing behind the siding and under the shinglesSo I told Mr [redacted] I was going to go on top of the roof to take a look, what I saw was the chimney siding/trim had a hole at the bottom left corner, the caulking around the trim boards that seals and prevents rain or weather penetrating through where all cracked and a portion of the siding on the chimney was pulling alway creating a gapClearly the issue was the chimney and the inspector worded the issue as a roofing issue so I believe Mr [redacted] automatically felt that ***'s Roofing Services workmanship warranty should have taken care of thisThis was not caused by the way we installed the roof nor was it an roofing issue, the chimney need attentionMr [redacted] asked if we could give him a price to fix the chimney, I said yes and told him we would have to replace all the trim boards on chimney, the portion of the siding that had a hole in it, caulk, prime and paint for $turn key but Mr [redacted] said that was out of his budget and he would take care of it himselfIf you have any questions please feel free to contact me @ [redacted] - ***

Complaint: [redacted] I received a call from the owner the day after I filed this complaintHe was very apologetic but came up with a lot of excusesI informed him that none of this would have happened if I was kept informed of what was happeningMaterials were delivered but remain on my roof for almost 2wks with debris falling off the roofI am a very forgiving person and my family and friends were surprises I gave this company a second chanceThe roof have been installed and they didn't waste anytime calling me to remind me that my deductible was due that dayAs for as compensation for the day that I took off from work, I have yet to hear from Mr [redacted] even though he did call me the day of installation to let me know the work had been completed and anted to confirm that my insurance was involvedNot once did he mentioned compensation againThe bottom line is I understand it's all about business and getting paid but there is still a thing called good customer serviceI don't expect to hear from them again until they call about the remaining payment from the insurance companyI won't be recomendimg their services to anyone Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This company still has not apologized for the overcharges and also that they will cease from attempting to deceive other innocent victims needing roofs and their insurance companies for more then the agreed contract price Regards, [redacted] [redacted]

On the contract we did check off chimney cricket to the original structure but we got the insurance to pay for the upgrade to replace the decking up to code and during that processes we did in fact overlook itAs far as the drip edge if you look at the contract sign by homeowner we check off 1-1/inch drip edge with no color but because the homeowner didn't not like the way the 1-1/inch looked we went ahead and replaced it with a inch drip edgeHomeowners were already in the process of having interior and exteriors repairs done to there property, I actually talked to there subcontractor and also wrote out a check to the homeowner to pay there contractor to paint the drip edge so that it would match there fascia since they were already getting the exterior of there house paintedAs far as providing the final invoice we were waiting on there insurance company or homeowner to provide us with the new revised estimate from the there insurance company so we could provide an exact invoice and balance owed since our contract was for the amount approved by there insurance company

Complaint: ***
We are rejecting this response because for one they said homeowners requested us to go back and install a chimney cricket and re-flash the chimney, which is a lie, because it was listed on the first contract as something they had to do; therefore, there is no way we could had requested them to go back and install a chimney cricket and re-flashing chimneyWe had to keep asking them to do itFirst they said they forgot about it, than they said they had the chimney cricket and than they said they had to buy the materials so they could build itSecond of all, it was the subcontractor who installed the wrong drip edge around the house*** didn't even know who install our roof, and after seeing the damages around the outside of the house he ended up getting on the phone and found out a subcontractor did the work*** stated he was going to go after the subcontractor and get them to reimburse him for all the materials including the new drip edge they had to replace, because it was originally the wrong sizeThey claim they go above and beyond, but really they haven'tWe have logs of many calls and text messages that were never returnedAlso, we have asked several times for a final invoice, but we never got itWe even had to hire outside contractor who had to repaired all the damages caused by ***'s roofing both inside and outHe even laugh at some of the work, because it was so poorly doneThese are some of the many other complaints we have against ***'s roofing company

To whom this may concern, In regards to the complaint from *** ***, we have done above and beyond to meet her request to fix the issues to her chimney projectLet me explain it from the beginning, *** *** hired us to replace the siding and trim to her chimney that was damaged by raccoons, they made a hole in her chimney siding allow them to enter her attic. When we first replaced her siding and trim there were some minor issues to the trim which we went back to correctIn the process of replacing the siding and trim we noticed she also had decking issues and we immediately report it to *** *** and we gave her a quote to repair it and she gave us the OK. *** *** had concerns with the flashing which we reinsured her that the flashing was installed correctly We installed the flashing to stick out past the roof line so that the water would flow onto the back patio porch*** *** also didn't like the fact that her siding to the chimney didn't touch the shingle like before, we informed her that there should be a space between the siding and the roof so that the water could flow correctly and not rot out the trim boardsIn order for us to replace the siding and trim we had to take off the old chimney cap that was rusted and in doing so the corner of the metal chimney cap broke seal because the new materials that *** *** requested us to use didn't allow the old chimney cap to fit correctly causing the corners of the chimney cap to break seal which could have been soldered together and paintWhen we were working on the chimney one of our guys accidently stepped on the back patio roof denting itWe reinsured her that we were taking responsibility and would replace the damaged panel and we also told her that we would replace the chimney cap in good faith*** *** was demanding and requested that we redo and replace the siding and trim again or that she would hire someone else to do it and bill us and also threaten us by hiring a lawyer and reporting us to the Revdex.comSo in order to satisfy *** *** we agreed to redo the job and replace the chimney cap and damaged panelsShe also requested for us to tarp the chimney so that it wouldn't leak, we once again reinsured her that it would leak but we went ahead and tarp it off for her. During this process San Antonio, TX had extreme weather with lots of rain*** *** was not being reasonable after explaining to her that we needed a couple of days of good weather with no rain chances and she demanded for us to get it done around the predictions of rain for the dayWe could not take that chance to have her home exposed and cause damage to the interior of her home from rain. She would continuously threaten us with taking us to court and reporting us to the Revdex.com. Between Myself, Salesman, and superintendent we communicated with *** *** keeping her up to date with the weather and our intent to continue with her projectOnce we had good weather we planned it out with *** *** and when we arrived the day scheduled to start the repairs *** ***'s fence gate was locked and we could not get ahold of herLater that afternoon she called to apologize and said she would leave it open the next morningSo we did go out the next morning and started her repairsIt took us a few days to complete the chimney siding, trim and paint*** *** would call us late night leaving messages like we better remove the debris in her yard and demanding us to replace the chimney cap and back patio the following day which once again the weather acted up againWe explained to *** *** that the chimney was ordered and would take a couple of weeks to arrive, she would respond "I'll go ahead and order one myself and get it installed and take that amount off what she owedI told her that would be totally up to her but that we would only rein burst her what it was costing us to have one made*** *** called us and said that she didn't want us to finish her project and that we owed her around $1,above our contract price because that was what it was going to cost her to repair the chimney cap and back patioShe also warned us if we would go to her property that we would be tress passingI texted *** *** since she stopped us to finish the project we were requesting to be paid in full for the original amount agreed to do the repairs of her project. And I gave her days to respond and if she didn't respond so we could come to an agreement that I would take the next step and put a lien on her property and take her to small claims courtShe then responded with a text asking us to send her an invoice but the next day I got another complaint from Revdex.com from *** *** which I re texted her asking what her final decision on how she wanted us to pressure and she basically said for me to go ahead and proceed with the lien and courtFYI throughout the whole process until she stopped us to finish the project we never ask or requested payment from herI will be sending some pictures to back this up *** *** *** *** Tony's Roofing Services, LLC www.tonysroofingservices.com

We signed a contract per what insurances allowed, we have gone above and beyond to ensure there decking got compensated by there insurance bringing the decking up to codeWe could not revise the contract without the revised approved estimate from there insurance companyHomeowners requested us to
go back and install a chimney cricket which we had scheduled for a Monday, *** *** sales rep for this projected called to confirm Sunday and Mr *** said that day will not work we would have to reschedule that Saturday which is confusing to us since this complaint was made a few days later after we had rescheduled for SaturdayRegardless we went out Saturday to install the chimney cricket, we also went ahead and replaced the drip edge from a inch to a inch so that it would cover the entire shadow board because they were not happy with the one that was installedOur gutter guy went out a week prior this complaint to measure and have homeowners select a color but Mr *** said he just wanted an estimate but we had agreed on price already so we went ahead and removed it from our contract per homeowners requestThe looked at what Mr *** thought was a leak and we explained that it was a nail popping through the text creating a hump and that there was no signs of water stains in that areaWe have completed all the repairs and as of today we are still waiting to collect final payment

To whom this may concern, We ended up replacing all the shingles around the chimney and took care of the interior water damageI'll like to point out that we have gone out twice before this late visit and even water tested the roofDuring those visit after water testing for minutes plus we did
not see any leaksWe look even further this last time that the Homeowner called us out and found a nail hole at the top of the chimney cricket not sure how it got there because but we went ahead and took care of itWe also cut back the chimney trim boards that were touch the roof and not allowing the water to flow freelyWe took several pictures before the repairs were made and point out a couple of flaws to the chimney like a nail that is popped out and caulking that is cracked between the tri boards long story short all repairs have been completedI called Homeowner to confirm that the repairs were done to her satisfaction her response was, "Yes" If you have any questions please feel free to call me @ ###-###-####

Regarding Complaint #***We believe that this complaint is no longer valid as it has been resolved and last communication with the home owner was pleasant and resolve.Tony's roofing services has had some difficulty working with Mr*** during this processI do admit there
were some hiccups with the skylights Mr*** wanted installed, as his insurance only covered to replace one and if installed they would not matchHowever addressing the concerns listed in this complaintI have attached several documents for your reviewOnce the roofing project was completed, we sent a supplement to the insurance company, it was approved by the adjuster and an additional check went out to the home owner for the "steep charges"The home owner was very insistence that he did not want to pay any more than the contract amountIt was previously explained to the home owner that if there was any additional repairs or supplemented items that were needed, Tony's roofing services would send the request to the insurance and if they were approved by the insurance, that money would go to Tony's roofing services as stated on the signed contract (attached)After several attempts of trying to explain and address concerns to the homeowner we believed he was trying to just keep the money and doing his best to complain in hopes we would allow him to pay the contract amountHe even went as far as advising his insurance company not release any information to us to try to resolve the issue. The home owner had many complaints listed in an email that Tony ***, *** *** and *** *** addressed with the homeowner and confirmed all his accusations to be incorrect. In the end the home owner did do the right thing and pay the amount that was owed, and sent a text message (attached) "I was in a bad mood and had the devil in me."We believe that this complaint is no longer valid as it has been resolved and last communication with the home owner was pleasant and concerns resolvedIf you have any questions please feel free to contact us. Attachments:* Contract, invoice, email reply from home owner* Eagle view- to show roof steepness as acurate* Material receipt- to show synthetic underlayment, text message from home owner apologizingSincerely, Tony *** ###-###-#### or*** *** ###-###-####Tony's Roofing Services, LLC***

We have been in contact with the homeowner. Unfortunately our subcontractor what we used for this metal roof project had personal issues and could not finish the job. We are also dealing with Issues with the product which is either the distributors or manufacture problem. We have contacted the...

distributor and they reassured the homeowner it will be taken care of. We have been on stand by due to the bad weather we had all last week. We are working hard to get this project complete per customer satisfaction.

Hi my name is [redacted] (owner) of Tony's Roofing Services, LLC.  In regards to our contract signed by [redacted] and Tony's Roofing Services, LLC, our price, and products were based on  [redacted]'s insurance estimate.  Her insurance paid for her roof, window glazing, gutters,...

and interior damaged caused by a hail storm.  [redacted] only hired us to Re roof her roof.  Her insurance only paid for the products that she had on her roof, now we upgraded her roof with higher quality materials such as a (30yr PATRIOT SHINGLE) verses the 25yr 3-tab shingle with only a 60 mph warrant, BULLET BOOT PIPE FLASHING verses the rubber boot pipe flashing, WINTER GUARD IN THE VALLEYS verses valley metal, AND THE ONE [redacted] IS DISPUTING SNYTHETIC UNDERLAYMENT verses the 15 lb. felt that she had on before.  I have attached a copy of our contract that clearly shows there is no manufacture name next to the synthetic underlayment although the product we used was black in color as the 15 lb. felt she had on there roof before I can reinsure [redacted] that it is not the same product and it is a better, and high quality product.  We are supplying [redacted] with a extended 20yr manufacture warranty through Certain Teed the shingle manufacture which have giving me the approval to use this product so that the extended warranty that we purchase for [redacted] will be a full replacement manufacture warranty up to 20yrs with no deductibles. I have also attached a copy of the material receipts, [redacted]'s itemized insurance estimate, and a copy of our material list form to support what I have explained. FYI this was also explained to [redacted] over the phone the day we were asking for the remaining balance. While we were on the phone she was over looking the contract because we agreed to take off the $400.00 charge to take down the gutters and reinstall them since we did not have to remove them to re roof her roof. Before we hung up said gave us permission to go over the same day to pick up the agreed new balance. Please feel free to contact me with any question @ [redacted]. Thanks in advance-[redacted]?
