Was given no notice of dropping my insurance
I’ve used Owl Tri-State for a few years and recently tried to have my meds refilled and received no word, no letter, no msg, no email about them dropping my insurance. I had to find another pharmacy ASAP. I was out of blood pressure meds, it took a week to get them refilled— My blood pressure skyrocketed and I almost went to the EMERGENCY ROOM. This is completely useless customer service to say the very least.

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: As you can see from the attachments that my buyer of my property had to hire a carpet cleaner and also charged me for the removal of the furniture left behind to the total amount of $Hector credited me $for the smashed desk and nothing for the filthy carpet, but made note of the condition of the brand new carpet needing cleaning.,Regards, A [redacted] I disagree because:Please see the attachments from my realtor and the new buyer of my propertyThe new buyer states that he had to get the carpet cleaned and charged me for the removal of the furniture left behind for a total of $I am just asking to made whole again, I disagree because:Please see the attachments from my realtor and the new buyer of my propertyThe new buyer states that he had to get the carpet cleaned and charged me for the removal of the furniture left behind for a total of $I am just asking to made whole again, nothing more or lessHector gave me a credit of $for the smashed desk and made note at the end of the move about the filthy rugI am just tying to be made whole again, nothing more or less Best Regards, Andrea Stafford

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: The vendor, Meathead Movers, failed to address the issues presented The presentation of paperwork, minimum price, and double-drive time policies is not clear and is done so in a fashion which obscures the true quote The response does not address these practices or provide any assurance that my complaint is understood The response does not address the way I was treated by the staff when I called for resolution...vile, angry language and a raised voice I have received a voicemail from Meathead Movers Quality Assurance, but have been unsuccessful in the past two weeks of reconnecting with this department...voicemails have been left unreturned Regards, W [redacted]

This client's move was set up and paid for by a non-profitThe scope of work was given to us by the client and when we arrived at the origin in Napa, there was a lot more work than what was communicated to usWe would be happy to do the additional work, however, this was not agreed upon nor approved by the non-profit that was paying for his moving serviceWe are waiting to hear back to see if they would like to contract us to do the additional work

I am rejecting this response because:The items that were set aside to be picked up by the Salvation Army the day that H [redacted] came to do the estimate were picked up prior to the move date and was not there anymoreThe items that Meathead Movers had on their list that was not included in the original list consisted of two sofas and matching living room chairs, a triple dresser, two TVs, patio furniture, table lamps, a small desk, area rugs, pieces of artwork, an ironing board, a ladder, two end tables and large tables along with various other itemsNo way could these items have been missedIt was after the move when many things got left behind because of lack of time that I came back to get and loaded my SUV All the other items that I could not take with me I called the Salvation Army to pick upThese items we're not ment originally to go to the Salvation Army but rather than hire another moving company to move them I gave them awayI told H [redacted] every thing was to goWhen I signed the contract online I did not notice that the long list was missing these important items not expecting that everything wasn't lifted Regards, P [redacted]

As our client has stated, we did perform an in person estimate and we did have an accurate scope of workWe had offered a 2nd truck option prior to the service as well as early in the dayIf chosen, the 2nd truck option would have alleviated any cargo space or time issuesIt is unfortunate that we were not able to fit all of the items into a single truckOf course we offered to complete the service the following day but this option was also refused As previously stated, in the interest of customer service, we have offered a substantial refund even though we were able to offer solutions prior to, during and after the service which would have completed the moveUnfortunately, all of these options were rejected as they were presentedEric’s requested solution would have put or moving crew’s safety and well-being at risk

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:Of their overall dishonesty of changing what I was originally toldWhen the inventory was done, I was told that not everything could be seen and that would have to make a best guess as to all that was there.I had no idea that there was a time limit for the move and was certainly not asked to pay extra for the things left behindThey played with the "final dollar amount" because they did exceed that amount and make an adjustment without stating "what it was for" so that they would not exceed the contractUnfortunately, they could say that money was for anythingWhat has NOT been covered is for the filthy rug, which Hector made note of at the very endAlso, there was no allowance for the furniture that was left behind, the dresser and nightstand (which I have photos of)They broke a clear large glass jar filled with seashell and deducted $and deducted $for the smashed deskI have purchased a new on and I can prove that, as well.I an still requiring $for the furniture left behind and $for the carpet cleaning.Attachments to followRegards, A [redacted]

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because we are still trying to get this claim resolved We have submitted claim forms and are mailing in additional information The final letter is being mailed in today We have been routed around their company with no resolution Regards, [redacted] W [redacted]

We have tried exceedingly hard to resolve the issues that the client felt they had on move day, including offering free services, amongst other thingsWe realized that a satisfactory resolution would be impossible in this situation when the client came in to our lobby and threatened physical violence against multiple employees if we did not pay them the large amount of cash they were demanding as a resolution

The customer is correct that the issue has not been resolved yetWe are trying everything we can to resolve the issue, but they are not giving us a clear list of what they are claimingWe are unable to verify anything and they refuse to let us have someone come over and give an estimate to get this resolvedWe would love to have a resolution, but this client is refusing to allow us to.A*** ***General Manager

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:We were never told that another truck would be necessary Had we been told that we would have requested another truck in advance Regarding the refund they proposed- we didn’t consider the small amount of percent significant especially when we had to make an additional trips ourselves, put mikes on our car, had to finish the job they began at 6:am the next morning, and end up with damaged furniture and furniture delivered with no hardware to put it back together again The company mentioned that they offered to come back the next day Escrow had closed Had we known this ahead of time we would have arranged a definite rent back with a date certain As for the argument that it was too late for the men to be out after dark, this is simply poor business The job was not completedA full refund is what a good business would make in this situation

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: They had two people come to our residence to assess what was needed to complete the move They failed in their assessment of what was needed to finish the move Regards,E*** ***
Prior to signing with Meathead Movers they had two employees come and look at our residence We deferred to their professional opinion as to what was needed to move our belongings They failed in this assessment They did not bring a truck large enough to complete the move They would not make a second trip even though I was willing to pay additional. Mae for ththe contract stating they may not be able to move all of your contents, I signed it that morning By that time I cannot get another moving company and I had to vacate the property by the next morning That was also why I declined the move the next day The house would no longer be ours So I had no choice but to sign it To wait until the day of the move put me under duress to sign the contract The offer they made was not worth the fact that they failed to move my property or cremove their own property They failed in their assessment of what was needed and failed to rectify the situation that day Before accepting the contract they sent out two employees to assess what was needed They clearly failed in their assessmentAdditionally the management did not respond to our repeated calls They only contacted us after we made the complaint to the Revdex.com In short they failed to do the job contracted in an acceptable manner and they failed to address or complaint until we filed it with the Revdex.com When dealing with our complaint, I notified Jeremy about lost hardware He refused to fill out a damaged property form at my request and insistence They clearly did not meet the high standards of the Revdex.com on the day of the move be and after E*** ***

We did complete our client’s service as agreed when originally scheduledDue to the size and volume of belongings, we were not able to fit all of the items into one truckOur client had waived the option for a 2nd truck prior to the start of workUnfortunately, due to the time, the move took, we
were unable to perform the 2nd trip as the client requested late in the dayWe were unable to perform an unplanned for the 2nd trip due to safety concerns as our crew had worked for over hours to complete the first loadIt would have been unsafe to have the crew work the additional hours it would have taken to complete the 2nd truckload that night as requested late in the dayWe had offered a substantial refund in the interest of customer service which was refusedWe had offered to do the 2nd truckload the following day but the client declinedThe final cost of the service was over $less than what originally had been quoted and agreed to weeks in advance for the single truckload which was completed. Tell us why here

At the time of the estimate, our estimator, Hunter, noticed some items and boxes in the garage, MsH*** let him know that they are going to be picked up by the Salvation Army prior to move dayUnfortunately, this did not happen, which means we did not include them in the original estimateWe
were happy to move them for her and we offered to move them for an increase in the maximum cost to account for the additional timeWhen presenting the new price to her for the additional items, she sent our crew homeWe then reached out and for customer service reasons agreed to split the difference in the additional cost and she agreed and our crew came back to her homeIt took over two hours for these conversations to take place and at this point, our crew had to take a lunch due to CA labor lawsWhen complete with the lunch, they came back to the home and started the jobWe tried everything we can to make her happy, but unfortunately it didn’t happen in this instanceShe has disputed her charge with Amex times and each time it is closed in our favor

We are so sorry this client feels this wayAt this point, we have refunded her 100% of the money she has spent on the service for her inconvenienceIn regards to the accusations, we are taking them very seriously and making sure that this is not the experience that we provideWe are not sure what
else we can do to make her happy at this point

We have not received a completely filed claim from this clientWe have been in contact and been very clear what we need to process the claimIn one conversation, MsW*** did not want to give us the necessary information for her to process her claim and said she would take us to courtSince
then, we spoke with her husband and he said they are sending in everything we asked forI was clear that we will review the documents and if everything is there, we can move forwardIf we still need documentation, we will reach out immediately

We have refunded this client in fullOn our end, we never collect a credit card with a tentative dateOur reservations are similar to that of a hotel reservation where you reserve a date with a credit card numberAfter collecting a credit card number and reserving a move date, we followed up six
times within an eight day periodIt was not until the day before the move where he informed us he wanted to cancel because we would not change our contracts that were agreed upon eight days priorRegardless, we understood his position and have fully refunded him

We really are not interested in going back and forth with this client. We completed an in person estimate and based upon what the client wanted moved for her mother we calculated a Not to Exceed price of $3309.15. The client said her budget for the move was $2500.00 and we explained how to keep the cost to $2500.00. This included us not completing the entire scope of work and the client having to complete a portion so we could get the move done in less hours. On move day, the client was not fully packed and it made it difficult to complete the scope of work in the time we calculated let alone to get it done in less time that would fit what the client wanted to pay. We performed her pack and she sent the packers away and we refunded her for the cost of materials and gave her two hours of free packing. On the move, we exceeded the maximum price by almost $500.00 and we did not charge the client for that additional time that it took because they did not prepare for the move. After the move, we were informed that items were left that the client wanted to be moved despite the fact that the crew completed a walk through on move day. Regardless, we offered to come out at no cost and move the remainder of the items. The client refused and said that want money instead, which they were not entitled to because we completed the scope of work and more work that we did not agree to at the time of the estimate. We spoke with her and she requested almost $1000.00 back. We did not understand why she felt justified in asking for a refund and told her that so she requested to speak with someone else. Our General Manager tried on several occasions with scheduled calls and emails to speak with her with no luck. Rather, the client emailed that she was too busy to talk and spent time writing negative reviews and then started demanding $1500.00 back rather than the $1000.00 she initially asked for. At this point, we realized this client wasn’t interested in being reasonable and must have had other motives in demanding money back. About a month later, a family member of hers came into our office demanding a check for $1500.00 claiming we ripped his family off and cursing and threatening my staff with physical violence. We had to call the police because our staff was afraid of hi. We let him know we would be happy to speak with his criminal law attorney he threatened us with. It is clear this client is just trying to extort us and we are unwilling to allow this to happen.

I am rejecting this response because: The non profit MeatHead is referring to is the Veterans Administration of San Luis Obispo. They help Vets with needs they don't have the funds for.  MeatHeads were paid $2847.51 to move all my possessions in storage from Napa to Avila. I got a phone call from Sandra Gould that they would return to bring remaining possessions & pay balance of June rent because job was not completed on June 9th.  A short time later Sandra Gould's office called stating they would not be doing this no explanation or reason was offered.  I have been left in the middle of the Veterans Adm & MeatHeads not finishing what they were paid to do.  I am greateful for all that the Veterans Adm is doing for me.  BUT I am still without my remaining possessions and rent is is still accruing each at $228.00 a month plus penalties.
