[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I paid cash for the toll on early May 20th. I arrived on the turnpike at the Bensalem exit and exited at Valley Forge. I paid cash and it appears that the transponder also charged me. I want the actual video tape re-ran so you can see that I paid for the toll in cash. I have double paid. The transponder worked sometimes and sometimes it did not Regards, [redacted]

I would give zero stars because the *11 emergency help line was busy for 30 minutes (I later got a call that said the phone lines were down) and because Triple AAA is not "allowed" to service your car on the PA turnpike, so I was stranded with a flat tire at the side of a wildly busy section of the turnpike on Saturday morning with no help available. I'm giving a rating of 4 stars because a State Farm - PA turnpike safety vehicle stopped to help me. Mr. Hicks was an amazingly kind and helpful gentleman. He not only helped me with my tire struggle, he directed me to the nearest place to get a replacement (my tire was dead). What a kind man. Thank you, Mr. Hicks.

Dear *** ***.First and foremost let me first start off by saying that the Violation Notices we mail out are not scamsThey are simply bills for unpaid tolls on the Pennsylvania TurnpikeThe liability of payment for these Violations belongs to the registered owner of the vehicle that

You say in your return letter that your ** pass works 99% of the timeIF you would check my account you would see numerous violations on my account for violations that had to be transferred and most of these customers have had ** pass with them and your equipment does not function properly therefore you waist our employees time responding to violations when you ** pass equipment is not functioning properlyYour equipment is not functioning properly and therefore we should not held responsible for Pa Turnpike errors and mistakes
MY mistake in the orignial complaint I said the check was sent you on 5/31/and It was 3/31/the check was not postdated we even send a copy of the collection agency paper along in so you would know what it was for. Dear [redacted]:
This letter in in response to the above-referenced complaint filed against the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
In investigating your claims, our system did read your transponder when you entered our roadway at Bensalem on 5/4/15 and again when...

you exited at Valley Forge. However, our records indicate that the transaction was sent to the NJ [redacted]Pass Customer Service Center with a toll amount of $0. The transaction amount of $0 has been verified with the NJ [redacted]Pass Customer Service Center. Since you only paid cash for your trip on 5/4/15, no refund is due.We also researched your travel on 6/4/15. Our records indicate you entered our roadway at Valley Forge and exited via lane 11 at Bensalem. Your transponder was read and a transaction for the [redacted]Pass toll of $3.26 was sent to the NJ [redacted]Pass Customer Service Center. Lane 11 at the Bensalem Interchange was operating in [redacted]Pass Only mode. There was no collector in the lane to accept payment of cash for your travel. Enclosed with this letter is the report from our system that indicates the status of the lane.
Based on the information provided, you are not due a refund from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. The Commission considers this matter resolved.
Sincerely,
Laura Q.

I again ask that the 5.00 bill be canceled due to continue to waist my time with this claim.

sans-serif;">Dear [redacted]Your complaint from the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) was forwarded to me for response. In investigating the allegations made in your complaint, our records indicate that the Customer Service Representative (CSR) who spoke to you back in July 2013 advised that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) would replace the current transponder on your account without a fee. While I know that you believe the CSR was referring to providing you with a free motorcycle transponder, our program does not allow additional transponders be added to an [redacted] account without a payment. While misunderstandings do occur, the PTC's [redacted] Agreement indicates that a payment of $35 is required for each transponder on the account. We apologize for any confusion that occurred. However, we are unable to grant your request to add an additional transponder for your motorcycle without charging your account appropriately.Sincerely,Laura M. Manager of ETC Customer Service Operations

Review: I received a letter in mail regarding a violation that we need to pay!It gives a date and an unclear photo, which I assume is a picture of a car?It states that "we exited the Pennsylvania Turnpike through an E-ZPass lane and did not pay the toll due!"It says to detach and return remittance form below with a payment?I tried calling the phone number to the "so called business," and a recording comes on saying "number not assigned."We live in Ontario, Canada and were no where near the state of Pennsylvania on the date they put, which was AUGUST 15, 2014?It is however our plate number for our car??We appreciate your assistance in this matter![redacted]Desired Settlement: Just to find out whether this is ligitamate, so we don't have our privacy compromised! And to protect further scams, if it is one, tp us and others! We do travel the 407 into Toronto, the odd time, BUT I don't think this is related in any way!We receive our bill from the 407 and pay it promptly!

Response:

Dear [redacted].First and foremost let me first start off by saying that the Violation Notices we mail out are not scams. They are simply bills for unpaid tolls on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The liability of payment for these Violations belongs to the registered owner of the vehicle that exited the lane without making paymentWe received your letter and contacted the customer regarding his violation. While he admits it is his license plate, he claims he was never in Pennsylvania. We reviewed the image of the vehicle while on the phone with the customer. Since the image was during the evening hours and a little dark, we decided to err on the side of caution that there was a possibility that the model of the vehicle was not a match to the model he drives. We voided his Violation and mailed him an Acceptance of Appeal Letter advising him he is no longer liable for the Violation Notice. As for the customer's issue contacting our Office through our toll free number. We have only recently started pursuing drivers outside of the Continental United States. We were not aware when we started doing so, that there would be an issue with customer contacting us at our toll free number. It was brought to our attention recently and we are in the process of remedying the issue so all Customers will be able to contact our Office.I hope that this answers all of your concerns. I will be mailing in as well as faxing in a copy of this letter to ensure that it reaches you directly. Should you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,April S EZPass Violations Manager

I called turnpike about being overcharged, according to their own fee schedule, for a nonconsensual tow off turnpike. Instead of looking into the issues I raised, they let the company give them false excuses n tell me the tow co will contact me to explain charges. When they called they wouldnt explain. The only thing they said was something didnt bleed threw the carbon copy, and for me to come down for new receipt. I did and when I got it, I again asked if they could explain y my charges are above the turnpike website fee schedule. They just said thats ur receipt n there is the door. So while walking out I raised my phone n took a pic then instantly the owners son charged after me. I tried to get out n run but several men from inside and out chased me three blocks beat me up, stole my phone deleted all my pics n then smashed it to the ground. After all this I tried to call turnpike back n they said because the incident then I can take any complaints to athorities. However the local police who also contract this garage for tows, saw my bodily injury, had even said dnt bleed on his car. Claimed to have seen the tape, refused to arrest any of them n cited me for harassment for wanting an explination n came back because they told me to

Review: I received a violation from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission for not paying a toll. I paid my toll and the picture they sent did in no way confirm their allegation. This is fraudulent and I am appealing the notice. I am annoyed by their accusation. I don't know if I am the first complaint. However, I wanted to complain about this unfair practice.Desired Settlement: I should not have to pay toll twice. Therefore, I am asking for the Revdex.com to intervene and investigate. Thanks
