The company is saying that I am not their consumerI never got to the point of becoming a consumer because it was the marketing department that called me to offer me their servicesThe marketer was the one who treated me extremely rudelyThus causing me not to want to consume what the company has to offerThe company name is as I stated: Pacific Coast Home SolutionsThe manager I spoke with said they are based out of AnaheimI hope this clarifiesThank you, [redacted] ***

As requested by the consumer this contract was cancelled and refunded in full

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that I have no choice but to accept the resolutionYou are claiming that since you have no record of the phone call, it must be another company with the same name who called and offended meYou therefore leave me no choice but to accept your offer of resolution because I have offered every detail of the phone call and incidentI will say that I find it a weak excuseHow easy it must be to simply say you have no record of the phone call, so it must have been a company with a similar nameI will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Their statement is a pure fabrication of the facts and they were given the chance to swap the work for the bathroom for the Kitchen work, they gave me a higher estimate than the original.PCHS, is under the assumption that we are starting from an equal basis and that had no responsibility to MAKE MY BATHROOM WHOLE, if they couldn't do the bathroom correctly, they should not have started the projectNone of the work they were performing was up to code, they would not give me an itemization of the work to be performed and no day to cancel letter, which all were illegal

Follow up Response:We appreciate the concern from *** regarding calls to her phone numberAs a company standard, we go above and beyond to ensure that our telemarketers are held to the highest level of customer service when contacting potential customersWe record all of our phone calls and frequently review themWe also do not allow telemarketers who refuse to follow our scripts and company policies to continue to work for usPCHS Telemarketers also do not have access to phone lines outside of our databaseWe also do not have employees by the names she mentioned now or in the past months. If we had contacted *** at either of the numbers she listed, we would have a recorded call of the conversation and she would be in our databaseAs previously stated, ***’s two numbers that she provided to the Revdex.com are not in our systemWe unfortunately have numerous competing companies in the Anaheim area with names very similar to ours. Unless *** can provide a different number that we could research for her, unfortunately it was not our company who called herIn order to guarantee that we do not attempt to contact her in the future, we have added both of her numbers to our internal Do Not Call List

We contracted with the homeowner for remodeling work at his residence contingent upon financing approval. Homeowner was not approved for unsecured financing, and the project was out of scope for Hero financing, but there was a preapproval for secured refinancing. Homeowner gave his approval for the secured financing terms and work commenced on that basis. Shortly thereafter, homeowner changed his mind about the financing and the project and he began trying to renegotiate the contract for additional work, discounts, etc. The company made several contract adjustments to work with homeowner, however his requests became unreasonableHomeowner then refused to allow our workmen access to continue the work. Since then we have met with the homeowner to work resolve the issuesHomeowner requested a new estimate for the remodel of his kitchen onlyWe presented this estimate and were met with hostility from the homeowner. We have not been allowed to complete the work we were contracted for. We remain open to working with the homeowner to achieve a mutual resolution. *** ***ECoronado St#200 Anaheim, CA 92807Office: (714) 622-Ext*** | Cell: *** ***| Fax: *** ***

Our company signed a contract for
replacement windows with the customer on 12/31/The signed contract clearly
shows the total amount and monthly payment.
The customer signed the required rescission notice giving her at total
of days until 1/5/to cancel the contract with no
recourse. On 1/5/our site measure crews went to the
residence for measurements and to go over finance documents. The customer reviewed the finance document
which includes the total financed, payment amount, term and interest rate; and
the customer signed her acceptance of those finance documents.
On 1/6/we placed the order for
the windows. Once the order is placed
into production it cannot be cancelled; additionally these windows are custom
ordered to the 1/16th” and cannot be used for any other
project. The windows have been made to
order and we have been billed for the cost of the windows
It was after the order was placed
that we received the customer’s phone call indicating that she had changed her
mind. But this phone call came well
after the rescission period expired and too late to stop the order
It is our preference to complete
our contract as it valid and was not cancelled within the time frame allowed by
California law. In the alternative, we
must exercise the contract provision which calls for a minimum 20% fee for
cancellations after the rescission period has expired

Thank you for taking the time to forward this information to
our
office. We are truly sorry for the
delay in getting the new windows installed in your condo. This is a highly unusual experience for our
window customers, and we are working to insure the project will be completed as
quickly as possible. The custom ordered
windows are confirmed for delivery the last week of this month, and can be
installed right away. Once again,
please accept our apology and we appreciate your patience. Please feel free to contact me personally
with any additional concerns. We look forward to
completing the project and allowing you to experience the beauty and energy
efficiency of your new windowsRegard, *** *** ***
