Pacific Union Financial Reviews (35)

I have been going through a refinance with Pacific Union and already have a loan with them. I have been harassed by their collection department threatening me daily. They have been trying to intimidate me into making a payment even though I'm refinancing with their company and have a new loan number. They even noted my account for the refinance and the collections department is still harassing me. I was told by my loan officer to have them call him. I was told rudely by the collection department we don't do that have him contact us. You is work for the same company communicate. Then I was told by my loan officer the collection department is aggressive. I then received a call 5 days after my loan was funded saying they are reporting me 30 days late to the credit bureau and I need to pay today, after my loan was already funded. They're just using scare statistics by claiming they reported me 30 days late on your loan, claims my loan officer. I'll never do business with this company again due to this. My loan officer Vernon refused to contact them on my behalf to stop these calls. This company is a joke that they can't even communicate with each other and stop harassing their customers who are paying $4500 for a refinance. I would never recommend this company to any family or friends. When we decide to move I will be finding another mortgage company as Pacific Union Financials has some serious issues they need to work on.

Terrible customer service, never expect the same answer, and never expect a call back

Disillusions throughout the whole process. I have left over $ from escrow they're trying to give me a 1/10 through a third party. If you have 5+ months to refinance and don't mind a barrage of broken promises. THIS IS YOUR COMPANY!!!!!!

They lied to us too... No one seems to know the answer to any question.. You can make a one time payment now.. Call back 30 min later and someone says I have to pay full 2 months or I can't pay at all.

They say they will try to help you (I was briefly unemployed) and they didn't refer us to anything other than making 2 months worth of mortgage payments we couldn't afford due to situation..

During this time, they called inccesantly.. It wouldn't have been so bad had it been a human, but it was always a recording..

They then had me fill out forms for assistance and fax them in.. I followed their instructions and confirmed with them... Upon follow up 2 weeks later, they said they had not received anything and that I had faxed.. They then continued to try to get me to make 2 payments that I didn't obviously have due to the situation..

This company lies.. They must not train their employees.. If you look on glass door,, even the employees complain that they receive horrible training.

Is this a company I really want handling most of my monthly income??? Absolutely not.. And you shouldn't either.

Every individual, at every level, I have dealt with over the past two years have been very professional and responded quickly to any concerns I had. This organization is the best I have dealt with over the past 10 years.

David was very considerate and conscientious in working with us to refinance the house. He was always available and always friendly.

My property taxes are not due until January but I requested to have the money disbursed in December. It is my money in the escrow account after all. Two years in a row they have given me the run-around. I even faxed a signed request this year and they still didn't pay the property taxes. They also call all the time asking me to refinance from random phone numbers. I guess they subcontract that work but it made me uncomfortable; I wonder if those people really work for Pacific Union. I would not recommend Pacific Union to anyone.

My husband and I bought a home last year. Our mortgage is serviced through Pacific Union Financial. My husband works in the oil & gas industry. For several reasons, this industry is failing. Many companies have closed, and those that remain open have had mass lay-offs. My husband was recently laid off from his company after 10 years of service. We are stretched very thin and have trouble paying our bills. Our savings has been depleted. And though I work, I do not make enough to support my family alone. Our mortgage has fallen behind. With that being said, Pacific Union Financial has had to start collection calls. If you've ever dealt with collection calls, you are familiar with how stressful those calls are. You are already distraught and stressed about not being able to financially support your family, and then the collection agents are usually very pushy and rude. They tend to bully you. This description holds true for most, but not for Pacific Union Financial. The employees are always so polite and compassionate. They are nothing but helpful and understanding. Every call I've ever placed or received from Pacific Union Financial has been a very pleasant experience. (And there have been many calls. Collection calls as well as calls initiated by me to make a payment or an arrangement.) This company truly values their customers. The customer service agents are caring and considerate. They never harass us about a late payment. They call us with a friendly reminder and offer options and advice specific to our mortgage. Pacific Union Financial is truly a wonderful company and a pleasure to do business with.

David was very helpful during the entire year when look for my first home. During this process he was very informative and explained every step of the way. The process of buying my home was very smooth even though it took about a year to buy it.

Horrible! They must have bought this A+ Revdex.com rating. Horrible customer service, prepare to spend a lot of time on the phone if this is going to be your mortgage company!

My home was damaged in a storm and Pacific Union is my lender. Due to the large claim my insurance money has to go to my mortgage company before it can be dispersed to me. This is standard in the industry. Pacific Union has been nothing but difficult and rude throughout the process. They tell me my checks are being processed and then they don't show up. It takes at least three calls and dealing with rude employees to get reimbursement for money that is mine. It's difficult enough that my family and I lost much of our belonging in a storm and we are dealing with living out of our bedrooms. Not having the help you need to get much needed repairs done in a timely manner at an emotional time is a good reason not to do business with Pacific Union. We are a fortunate family with lots of support and are able to front much of the money and can wait for reimbursement. A family not as fortunate would be out of luck if this company was their mortgage company.

Pacific Union Financial, financed my condo and also they did an interest rate refinance on my condo. They professional, timely, did what they promised. I would definitely work with them again and recommend them to any one.

I have the worst experience dealing with this company. On 04/10/15 I called in to asked that a scheduled draft for my house payment Not take place on that certain day but for it to be done two days later. Well I hate I ever called in because the CSR didn't do want I asked and that caused my husband and I checking account to go into overdraft, because two payments came out of the account, causing my husband and I to accrued several fee and return checks/ fees. I called on 04/14/15 to find out what happened and I was lied too, then I was placed on hold for a Supervisor, I spoke with Mike and he went to listen to call, [redacted] called me back and told me that the CSR didn't understand what I was requesting. REALLY!!! THE Supervisor went on to tell me that my money along with the fees will be getting overnighted to me but on 04/16/15 another payment went through causing me to lose my entire payroll along with my husband losing part of his payroll. I called again this time I spoke with [redacted] another supervisor (a smart mouth heifer). I was I needed to send in a written statement to get the money back, I did that and on 04/22/15 I still haven't received the money that was supposed to Overnight back to my husband and I.

Im trying to pay my bill but they make it almost impossible. Know im a month and half behind and I cant cancel a cashiers check that I sent through mail so that I can send funds through western union. I might loose my home over this.

My experience with Pacific Union is nothing but positive.... I worked with Sammy Cropper and he was able to help me secure my closing of my home.... I had been given the run around with other companies and never have been able to close . I believe in this company and Sammy and I will be referring all my friends to him... thank you once again Sammy!!
