Parking Revenue Recovery Services Reviews (72)

Our office accesses all accounts by notice number and name of the parking company Since this information has not been provided, I am unable to respond to this complaint

there are directions posted at the parking lot advising how to pay for parking at this parking lot This consumer clearly did not follow the directions on how to pay and because the correct digits were not entered into the pay station which resulted in the attendant being unable to verify for the correct plate with payment We do recognized that this consumer has submitted multiple proof of payments and as a one time courtesy we are voiding the notice If he repeats this same action and does not pay for the correct digits any new notices will be upheld

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] I disagree with their response, but would like to close the complaint at this time

As you know, Platinum Parking operates private parking lots in the Dallas area The surface lot which is the subject of the above complaint is operated on an honor system; this lot is not manned, but is set up with a payment machine, and parking customers are expected to pay if they park in this lot Unfortunately, many parking customers do not payIn addition, some parking customers even attempt to defraud the parking companies by creating paid receipts and bank statements, monthly parking permits, and sharing payment receipts and monthly permits This is a significant and substantial problem for Platinum Parking, as it is for all parking companies who operate surface parking lotsPlatinum Parking has retained our office's services to assist them with monitoring their parking lot and their collectionsAs you may also know, property owners have the right to protect their property from trespassers Specifically, private parking companies, as the owners/authorized managers of these private parking lots, have the right to establish terms and conditions under which a customer is permitted to park their vehicle or use the parking lot A customer is permitted to use the parking lot only if they fully comply with the terms and conditions established by the parking company If a parking customer does not fully comply with the terms and conditions, they are trespassing Platinum Parking has signage posted detailing the terms and conditions of using their lots, including payment rates, rules and general guidelines (pre-paying for the space utilized, prepaying for the amount of time they will park, displaying paid receipt face up on dash, etc.) Issuing parking notices is one way for Platinum Parking to enforce their property rights Towing or booting vehicles would be alternative ways for a parking company to enforce their property rightsOn 4/2/a vehicle registered to this consumer was parked at the Brewing Company lot This parking lot requires the user to prepay or their space and to display the receipt on the dash This consumer chose to use a park by phone product which requires the user to print their receipt and to display it on the dash While this consumer did display a portion of a printed Park Whiz receipt, she had folded it so that the day/time and expiration was not able to be verified Since the attendant was unable to verify payment for the current parking session he issued a parking notice We believe the notice was validly written Since this may have been the first time this consumer has used the pay by phone and may have been unclear the full receipt had to be displayed, I have requested and received authorization to reduce this notice to $ In the future, please be careful to display the date time and expiration of your parking pass

I have read and reviewed this complaint First of all this consumer is incorrect, PRR does not operate this parking lot, [redacted] *** does This parking lot requires each user to prepay for their parking space and display the receipt on the dash When the monitor checked her vehicle, there was no receipt displayed on the dash Next, this consumer did not contact PRR after receiving the notice to dispute this notice and show proof of her payment with a receipt showing the time of purchase She then waited for the days to pass and an attorney reminder letter was sent from Gregg V [redacted] ***, Esq.'s office She then sent a letter stating only her notice number and that the notice was not valid She has never provided any receipt showing proof of payment Until we receive this information, we believe this notice is valid and due

Unfortunately, this consumer parked I an area that was not a parking space so we believe the notice valid However since he is a monthly parking customer I have requested and received authorization to reduce the notice to $

I do apologize, we had a glitch in our database and the remarks regarding this consumer's email and phone message did pop up Our agent did call him back and he explained that he had submitted a dispute '' We have very strict guidelines for this parking lot and we are only able to get authorization to waive a notice if we receive proof of payment There is clear signage, a yellow pay station which is very visible and he should have paid to park The notice is due in full

It is ridiculous for this consumer to try and say that our office has attempted to fraudulently send some kind of doctored photo of his dash It is very simple, we pull up the notice with the photos and click PRINT Then we scan the document to a folder and attach the dox to the Revdex.com response page There is no magic or way to contrive a lower quality photo. After looking at this complaint again I recognize that there may not have been a 100% clear way for this consumer to know a receipt should be on the dash I have contacted [redacted] and requested permission to void this notice I have received authorization and have voided the notice I am unable to refund the parking fee.Lastly, it is clear to me that this consumer was aware at some point that the receipt should have been on the dash as he "staged" another photo with a receipt on the dash and submitted it to our office

Tell usAs you know, PSA El Paso, operates private parking lots in El Paso The surface lot which is the subject of your complaint is operated on an honor system; this lot is not manned, but is set up with a pay machine and parking customers are expected to pay if they park in this lot Unfortunately, many parking customers do not payIn addition, some parking customers even attempt to defraud the parking companies by creating monthly parking permits This is a significant and substantial problem for PSA Parking, as it is for all parking companies who operate surface parking lots PSA Parking has retained our office's services to assist them with monitoring their parking lots, dispute resolution and their collectionsAs you may also know, property owners have the right to protect their property from trespassers Specifically, private parking companies, as the owners/authorized managers of these private parking lots, have the right to establish terms and conditions under which a customer is permitted to park their vehicle or use the parking lot A customer is permitted to use the parking lot only if they fully comply with the terms and conditions established by the parking company If a parking customer does not fully comply with the terms and conditions, they are trespassingPSA Parking has clear and prominent signage posted at this parking lot detailing the terms and conditions of using their lots, including payment rates, rules and general guidelines (pre-paying for the space utilized, prepaying for the amount of time they will park)Issuing parking notices is one way for PSA Parking to enforce their property rights Towing or booting vehicles would be alternative ways for a parking company to enforce their property rightsI have carefully read the consumers complaint I have reviewed the parking notice written by our attendant and I have reviewed his photos taken on the day in question First of all I would like to say that Parking Revenue Recovery does not own this parking lot, it is operated and managed by PSA Parking We do not believe this consumer is forced to park anywhere and specifically not this lot They are choosing to park in this lot and they are free to find parking at alternate lots of their choosingOn 4/27/at 8:27pm this consumer’s vehicle was parked at PSA’s parking lot located at N Mesa This parking lot is unmanned and has a pay station in which the consumer needs to pay for their parking and display receipt on dash When the lot attendant enters the lot, they verify payment for each vehicle with the ticket displayed face up on the dash When the lot attendant reached this consumers vehicle, there was no ticket on the dash to verify payment had been made There is prominent signage in the parking lot, on the pay station and on the ticket itself that states the ticket needs to be placed face up on the dash to verify payment I have reviewed the photos taken by the lot attendant and it shows there was no ticket on the dash We believe the notice was valid in being issued and is duewhy here

This parking notice was issued by the parking company and we believe the notice is valid The consumer even admits he did not input his correct license plate and therefore, the lot attendant would have no way of knowing if he paid to park or not This consumer's allegations are outrageous and we feel, not really worthy of any further response

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 14, 2015/11/06) */ Unfortunately our office retrieves all accounts by notice number and parking companyThis complaint does not have enough information for us to respond Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 16, 2015/11/10) */ This matter was resolved, thanks!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me though the wording in their response left something to be desiredI very much appreciate the efforts made by the Marriott and the owner of the parking lot in taking care of this unfortunate matter for meThank you kindly for your assistance also in this matter Sincerely, [redacted]

Tell usAs you know, ABM Parking Denver operates private parking lots in downtown Denver The surface lot which is the subject of your complaint is operated on an honor system; this lot is not manned, but is set up with an pay station and parking customers are expected to pay if they park in this lot Unfortunately, many parking customers do not payIn addition, some parking customers even attempt to defraud the parking companies by creating monthly parking permits This is a significant and substantial problem for ABM Parking, as it is for all parking companies who operate surface parking lots ABM Parking has retained our office's services to assist them with monitoring their parking lots, dispute resolution and their collectionsAs you may also know, property owners have the right to protect their property from trespassers Specifically, private parking companies, as the owners/authorized managers of these private parking lots, have the right to establish terms and conditions under which a customer is permitted to park their vehicle or use the parking lot A customer is permitted to use the parking lot only if they fully comply with the terms and conditions established by the parking company If a parking customer does not fully comply with the terms and conditions, they are trespassingABM Parking has clear and prominent signage posted at this parking lot detailing the terms and conditions of using their lots, including payment rates, rules and general guidelines (pre-paying for the space utilized, prepaying for the amount of time they will park)Issuing parking notices is one way for ABM Parking to enforce their property rights Towing or booting vehicles would be alternative ways for a parking company to enforce their property rightsI have carefully read the consumers complaint I have reviewed the parking notice written by our attendant and I have reviewed his photos taken on the day in question I have also attached the photos taken by the lot attendant when they issued the notice and you can clearly see that there was no ticket displayed on the dash of the vehicle On 5/17/2018, a notice was issued to plate # [redacted] for “No Ticket On Dash” I have reviewed the notice that was issued as well as the photos that were taken by the lot attendant at the time they issued the notice It is clear that there is no ticket displayed on the dash I have attached the photos as well We feel this notice was validly issued and is currently due why here

Our office accesses all records by notice number and parking lot Since this notice has not been provided, I am unable to respond to this complaint I have read this complaint and it appears this consumer has filed his complaint with the wrong company We have not received any payment from this consumer If we go off the information this consumer has provided, this consumer set the contract with Alpha Park, the rules requiring the monthly parker to display their pass are Alpha and Alpha's lot attendants would have written the parking notices Alpha Park has merely forwarded this account to our office because the notices must not have been paid This should be dismissed against us

As you know, [redacted] operates private parking lots in the Denver areaThe surface lot which is the subject of the above complaint is operated on an honor system; this lot is not manned, but is set up with a payment machine, and parking customers are expected to pay if they park in this lot Unfortunately, many parking customers do not payIn addition, some parking customers even attempt to defraud the parking companies by creating paid receipts and bank statements, monthly parking permits, and sharing payment receipts and monthly permitsThis is a significant and substantial problem for [redacted] , as it is for all parking companies who operate surface parking lots [redacted] has retained our office's services to assist them with their collections On 8/4/15, a vehicle registered to this consumer was parked at Global's Cal-Welton lotThis lot requires the user to prepay for their parking space number and to display the receipt on the dashThere are several signs posted with this requirement and if this consumer had a receipt, it would show on that receiptWhen the attendant checked this vehicle, there was no receipt on the dash and this is the only way the attendant can verify a vehicles parking space has been prepaidHe issued a notice for NO TICKET ON DASHWe believe the notice is valid and cannot be dismissed On 8/21/15, our office received a letter in the mail dispute this noticeThere was no return address or name on the letter so our agent was unable to respond On 9/25/our office received an email from this consumer following up on her dispute and she did not submit the notice number so we were unable to locate her accountShe did reply with this information and on 10/2/15, our agent responded with a reduced settlement offerThis consumer had alleged that our office has not responded to her, however as you can see, we did respond when we were able toThis notice is still open and unpaid but I am able to extend the settlement if paid by 1/1/ We are unable to resolve this notice as the consumer has requested as the notice is valid and cannot be voided and it most certainly has not been paid

I have attached a copy of one of the photos taken by our lot attendant of this consumer's dash While this consumer received parking notices for a total of $180.00, our office has requested authorization to reduce each notice to $for a total of $due The notices have been adjusted and can be paid online

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2015/10/09) */ I have reviewed this consumer's dispute and am confusedHe has stated he paid to park but did not submit proofHe says he stated $to park, however the parking fee at this parking lot is $I would need to see proof of payment to try and get to the bottom of what has transpiredWe do not believe he paid the parking fee for this [redacted] lot, we believe the notice is valid and due Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 12, 2015/10/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I parked in the lot as evidenced by the Pictures included, which also have my car in the forefront of the pictureAdditionally, I have submitted the evidence below of payment or proof of the parking fee being paid noted as "MBTA PAY BY PHONE", which was $and made on the exact day and time the citation was issued, which is evidenced by the credit card paymentThe [redacted] lot, noted in the sign, is the exact number and lot I called and I was in when I received the ticketThis phone number evidences that a $charge is what is applicable to this lotPlease remove this charge from my account as I followed all necessary prompts for parking and payment of this lot Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 25, 2015/11/17) */ I have requested a refund in the amount of $to close this noticeIt will be mailed to the address on file for this consumer Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 27, 2015/11/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) While I appreciate the refund, the basic premise of which parking lot I paid the $to has not yet been addressedYou state that I DID make a payment to a lot registered with your company as is evidenced by the credit card receipt on the exact day I was ticketed; however you have not yet provided evidence that this was NOT for the lot I was ticketedI find it illogical that you can ticket me, then state I must have made a payment for a different lot, but be unable to show which lot this was forAdditionally, I have pictures of my vehicle in the lot I was ticketed and the signage for the payment information I usedThis signage matches the exact lot you state that I did not pay and the date stamp on the picture is for the same time/date I was ticketedI would like this resolved through a full refund as I did everything I was supposed to do and should not have been ticketed

As you know, ABM Parking operates private parking lots in downtown Milwaukee The surface lot which is the subject of your complaint is operated on an honor system; this lot is not manned, but is set up with a payment machine, and parking customers are expected to pay if they park in this lot Unfortunately, many parking customers do not payIn addition, some parking customers even attempt to defraud the parking companies by creating paid receipts and bank statements, monthly parking permits, and sharing payment receipts and monthly permits This is a significant and substantial problem for ABM Parking, as it is for all parking companies who operate surface parking lots ABM Parking has retained our office's services to assist them with monitoring their parking lot and their collectionsAs you may also know, property owners have the right to protect their property from trespassers Specifically, private parking companies, as the owners/authorized managers of these private parking lots, have the right to establish terms and conditions under which a customer is permitted to park their vehicle or use the parking lot A customer is permitted to use the parking lot only if they fully comply with the terms and conditions established by the parking company If a parking customer does not fully comply with the terms and conditions, they are trespassing ABM Parking has signage posted at this parking lot detailing the terms and conditions of using their lots, including payment rates, rules and general guidelines (pre-paying for the space utilized, prepaying for the amount of time they will park, displaying paid receipt face up on dash, etc.) Issuing parking notices is one way for ABM Parking to enforce their property rights Towing or booting vehicles would be alternative ways for a parking company to enforce their property rights On 7/15/you parked your vehicle at ABM's Florida lot This lot requires the user to prepay for this spot and display the receipt on the dash This is the only way the attendant can verify payment has been made When the attendant checked your vehicle, there was no receipt on the dash so a notice was issued for NO TICKET ON DASH We believe the notice is valid and cannot be dismissed You contacted our office on 7/with the same disputed information you have included here and you admitted you did not display a prepaid receipt on the dash Our agent offered you a reduced settlement of $ This amount remains open and due

We have received confirmation that this notice is voided

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I provided proof as best I can in my emailed appeal to Parking Revenue RecoveryI have posted the same picture of my parking pass, but they are perfectly capable of looking up my license plate number as I provided to them when I purchased parking and on an annual basisI am provided no receipt, but I can post my pay stub with deductions if necessaryI don't believe that Parking Revenue Recovery is unable to verify that I have valid monthly parking with their serviceI also do not believe that there is any valid claim that I agreed to these terms that were neither provided to me nor postedIf we are discussing evidence, please share the signed copy of these terms where I allegedly agreed to paying charges when my pass is not visible or point to where they are and have been posted and I will close this appealThe signs there do not refer to monthly parking passes and were not present when I received the majority of these ticketsThe previous lot owner allowed such appealsYour acquiring this lot or the contract for it without my knowledge does not provide you free reign to begin invoicing me and forwarding those to collectionsAt minimum you must actually provide me these terms of service.I also find the 4pm term particularly distressing having been added without my knowledge as this is a parking lot required for my workplace which is not limited to 5-M-FI find it very unlikely these terms were shared with my employer.Sincerely, [redacted]
