Patriot Disposal representative, ***, has refused to accept my instructions to not renew my 3 year contract with Patriot Disposal. My contract ends February 28, 2020, and I have communicated with Ms. over the phone on several occasions. She was arrogant, smug and threatening on the phone, and kept changing the npn-renewal required notification from 30, to 60, to 90 days. I have requested a copy of my contract each time I spoke with her and I have yet to receive it. She continued her insistence on the renewal. She told me I would have to send a certified letter to her.
I immediately sent a certified letter as required to notify
non-renewal of my contract. I sent the certified letter to Ms. ***, Patriot Sales Executive, on January 6, 2020. A signed postal receipt was returned to me. Ms *** did not contact me regarding the issue. It was not until I was able to attain her telephone number, February 25, and I left her a message that clearly demonstrated my distraught condition over this matter that she returned my call.
She claims she never received the certified letter (I have the signed receipt), but promised that she would close my account at the end of the day )2/25), and arrange for my trash barrel to be picked up by Friday, February 28. So far, a no show. I am a 71 year old senior citizen and this issue has caused me great distress. The employees of this company have lied and lied and lied. I don't know where to turn, and hope you can help me with this matter, please.
