We received this customer's cancellation letter on February 2nd We typically have a day processing time due to having to check with the administrator for claims covered and other necessary information to calculate the prorated refund This customer's pro-rated refund is $and a check has been put in the mail today

I'm sorry about the delay in issuing the refund, but it is the truth and we are working hard to get all these refunds out as soon as possible. There are only 3 pending refunds ahead of you all of which were received prior to yours. We will notify you as soon as your refund is sent out.

I purchased a extended auto warranty from Patriot Protection Shield for 5 years in Feb. of 2016 for $3,150.96 dollars. I have paid in full as of August of 2017. In Jan of 2019, I tried to contact them because my truck was having issues and needs repair. I called the number given me and it was answered by some one saying that I had won a 1,000 and wanted me to give them my Visa card number, They played stupid and said they would give me the number for information in Irvine Ca. I contacted the BBB and they gave Patriot Protection Shield a rating of F I filed a compliant with them and was advised it may take a few days to a week for the Company to respond . As of yet no response. I will give them a few days but if no response I will contact the Police and report them to see if charges can be filed.

It is a CRIMINAL act to send a bad check and that is what this company did*** ** *** has not only deducted the refund amount from my account after it was deposited last week, but they have also charged me a $check return fee on top of thisI am sending an official complaint to the District Attorney's officeThis is ridiculous! I had already responded to this person: "Yes, we had fraudulent activity on our account last week and the account was overdrawn and reported to our fraud department Please send me your wire information and we will schedule a wire We will cover your $return fee I apologize for the inconvenience This was not done on purpose." I am awaiting their wire instructions so the refund can be re-sent

My response is that a new refund check is being mailed out to the customer by this Friday since the original mailed to her back in August check never reached her. Thank you for your time,
