On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Paul Davis a 10. Last year when we were in Mexico for a month, the temperature fell to an unprecedented -55 degrees below zero. The upstairs master bathroom pipes froze, burst and 84,000 gallons of water ran unabated for two weeks. The second floor basically filled with water and collapsed onto the first floor ceiling and all. The insurance adjuster said it was the worst he ever saw. Besides the water there was mold everywhere. The staff at Paul Davis were sensitive to how deeply this tragedy affected us and gave me the assurance that everything would be taken care of. My concern was that they would not be able to put Humpty-Dumpty back together again. Being a perfectionist, I was concerned that they would never be able to achieve my high-expectations. I was wrong. Paul Davis has a unique team of experts that thrive on this type of challenge. I credit the project foreman, Chad *** with much of this credit. His attention to detail was exceptional, exceeded only by his communication efforts that kept me in the loop throughout the lengthy process. Even when a mistake was made, Chad had it quickly corrected it to my satisfaction. The result is a house that I can call home again that bares no scars of the tragic incident. I would highly recommend Paul Davis.

The mitigation for water damage was amazing. Our Paul Davis contact was at our location many times, and always gave me notice of what would happen next and when to expect it.
The Reconstruction services were a nightmare. Our Paul Davis contact was at our location once, prior to his crew starting. He rarely, if ever, kept me in the loop. I often called him asking the status and what to expect and when. He never even came at the end of the repairs to see how they were done or if we were happy with them. They painted 2 rooms incorrectly. one the complete wrong color that didn't match the other walls, and the other room in a different shade. I spent several hours cleaning up spackle and dust marks, because the project took several months to complete. All the sudden I got a bill, still thinking the work was not complete, nor complete to my satisfaction. And they overcharged me according to my insurance agent.
As they submitted a lesser amount to the insurance company. Maybe they thought I wouldn't know any better and just pay it??? But also, wouldn't the main contact come to see what was or wasn't completed. Especially after I was unhappy with the work and some of it remained to be completed. After it was completed and fixed, he still hasn't followed up with me to ensure we are now happy with the results. Still not to this day. I wish they sent out a satisfaction survey after. I don't understand how this person still holds his position. Very, very disappointing. I will never use their services again. I think they were very overpriced for the level of service we received.

Ms. thank you so much for the feedback regarding your service with our office. I had run my car into the front wall of my garage. I called my insurance company and they said I should find a place to get a quote on the damages. I called Paul Davis and they responded to my request for a quote. They came the next day to look at the garage and told me that they would send the quote to my insurance company. When they got the ok to do the job, they were there the next day to start the job. It took them 2 days to tear apart the damaged section and put a new side on. The three gentlemen that worked on the job were Mike, the lead guy that got the quote, Steve, the lead person on the job and Jake the carpenter. These three gentlemen were the friendliness and knowledgeable staff. They were right on the job, cleaned the whole area. I would highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration for any and all remodeling you need to have done. In my opinion they deserve a 10 stars for their service.

Mike and his team value quality customer service and we are happy your expectations were well met by this team. We will be sure to pass along your comments to them and their department! Thank you!

Paul *** was the lead on the trash out / pack out portion of our house after a fire. He personally brought out items as they were cleaned as we were displaced to a hotel and then to an apartment. Having him there to guide us through the process made it bearable. He set up a group text with my wife and I so we could return to work and be kept in the loop as things developed, any changes, or any questions. I would highly recommend to ask for him by name if you need any type of similar service

Mr. Van ***, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! Our office greatly appreciates your recommendation of our reconstruction services. We are happy to hear of your "top notch" experience and will pass along your comments to staff and crew involved with the work at your Racine Christian Schools property. Thank you again for allowing us to be of service!

We’ve done business with Paul Davis in the past, called had someone come out and the job was completed. Last week my husband called and was told someone would call him back later that day. No call, so s few days went by and he called back and was told the same thing. One week later Still no call. This is poor customer service in my eyes.

Mrs., thank you for providing your feedback. Our office apologizes for the error that occurred during our call backs. The estimator of your project has been alerted to our mistake and will be reaching out shortly. We appreciate the opportunity to provide you the quality service you are familiar with from our office moving forward. Thank you again for your comments and for once again selecting Paul Davis for your service needs.

On January 10, 2019, we hired Paul Davis Restoration to complete restoration work on our home after a pipe burst causing limited water damage. The project is still not complete one year later.

After our original Project Manager was fired by Paul Davis Restoration, the Estimator of the project, ***, took over as Project Manager. Over the last year, Mr. has had a hands-off approach as a project manager.

Over the last year, Mr. visited the project less than 5 times. Because of this hands-off approach and not watching the subcontractors, our bathroom floor was rebuilt to the wrong height (resulting in a door being cut down), lots of damage was done to our 105 year old Oak woodwork, subcontractor didn't show up at scheduled times, work had to be redone on our coved ceiling, proper protection was not placed on our hardwood floors resulting in (dents and paint and mud splashes and stains) and painting was done poorly. All of these problems were found by my husband and I, never by Mr.. We asked for more oversight and received silence. When any problem occurred, we would wait several days for Mr. to return our messages. He would proceed to send over the subcontractor to talk with us about our problems. He did not take the lead and made us figure out the solutions. Over the past year, we have written, called (left numerous messages) and emailed Paul Davis Restoration and asked for a more hands-on Project Manager. The only person who writes us back is ***. We have never been told the name of Mr. supervisor or the Supervisor the Remodeling division of Paul Davis.

When the bathroom was partially completed (with the floor still at the incorrect height), the painters started painting the room. They did not use any protection to keep the new tile floors safe. Therefore, a very large amount of paint was spilled on the new tile and soaked into the new grout. We are still scraping paint off the tile. Once the painter left, we immediately noticed problems with the floors. Over 40 tiles were broken (1/2 a tile missing), chipped or cracked. There are numerous areas in the floor where the grout is missing and when we wash the floor we can see that areas all around are getting wet from the bottom up.

We brought our problems with the tile floor to the attention of *** and Pat (another Project Manager who started working with ***.) They explained that, 'fixing floor would take a really long time and did we really want to do it.' We asked to speak to their Supervisor.

At this time, the bills started to arrive. Paul Davis hasn't even started fixing the woodwork or the hardwood floors that were from the original estimate and paid for by our Insurance Company. There items are included in the bills as well as the tile floor in the bathroom. They are also charging us for the floors in the bathroom that are built to the wrong height. We explained in writing that we are happy to pay a portion of bill once we speak with a Supervisor about getting the rest of the work done and decide the plan for the tile floors. Again, only *** write back.

Now, with four months of being in this circle -we have decided to start a complaint.

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Southeast and Fox Valley WI Response • Jan 28, 2020

This letter is in response to
customer complaint #*** filed by Mrs. *** January 14, 2020.

Mrs. submitted a
complaint with the Revdex.com on Tuesday, January 14th. The
following Monday, January 20th, Mrs. called the office
asking whom she could speak with to get her project completed. As in her
complaint, she described lack of supervision, workmanship problems, and
frustration in not having contact with a supervisor about these concerns. I
informed Mrs. that her project status was currently under review due to
her recently filed Revdex.com complaint and our office would be contacting her with
our feedback through that process.

Mrs. describes that Mr.
***’s hands off manner and inexperience as a project manager has led to
issues with her home repairs. It is important to distinguish that the role of
project manager is not Mr.’s position with the company. Mr. is
a Paul Davis estimator who is responsible for determining the scale and budget
of a project based on a customer’s needed repairs and insurance coverage. It
is the role of a Paul Davis project manager to coordinate the necessary work for
the repairs. The team of these two roles work together to complete a project. It
is acknowledged by Paul Davis that staffing changes caused inconsistency with
project management during the beginning of Mrs.’s repairs. She is
correct that her original project manager, James, left the company early in the
process, and for about a month following, Mrs.’s project was without a
dedicated project manager. She is correct that in his absence Mr. did
his best to keep things on track during a transition to a new project manager. The
start of April, Paul Davis employee Manuel *** took on the role to oversee the
project. Lastly, project manager Pat *** took over the beginning of June
after the customer called the office and spoke with me expressing her concerns
and wish to speak with management. In response
to her concerns, Mr. spoke with Paul Davis’ president and it was
decided that Paul Davis’ most senior project manager, Mr., would be
the best to oversee the project moving forward and he has been involved since. Therefore,
Paul Davis has had a representative coordinating scheduling and repairs throughout
Mrs.’s project.

Mrs.’s ongoing concerns
with the bathroom flooring since it’s completion in May 2019 have led the
project to largely remain on hold until these concerns can be properly assessed.
This has led to a lengthy circle of communications, appointments, approval
requests, and proposed solutions. Unfortunately, as of the submission of the
customer’s complaint, no agreement has yet been reached on how to proceed so
the project is unable to move forward. Outside the scope of the insurance
damages, Mrs. wished to have the radiator in the bathroom removed and
have a radiant heat system installed. *** was the company hired independently
by Mrs. to install this system. Paul Davis crews built the sub floor
based on specifications provided by the heating company and radiant heat tubing
was then installed by *** on April 26th, 2019. Lastly, Paul
Davis subcontractor Carpet Service International handled the tiling. Again, per
*** instructions, the tiler applied the appropriate amount of leveling
cement and set standard mortar on top of that for the base of the tile. Tile independently
purchased by the customer was then installed and the flooring totally completed
on May 21st, 2019. The flooring work was all finished while the
project was being overseen by Mr. and during this he visited on a daily
basis to review progress. The day of completion, Mrs. expressed
concerns to Mr. about the height of the floor, stating it is 1/4 inch
higher than it previously was. On May 22nd, Mrs. requested a
meeting to review the floor height. Mr. met with Mr. and Mrs.
on May 24th, and at this meeting the customer’s stated that due to incorrect
tile installation, the heating system wasn’t working correctly. Since Nimmer
Heating installed the system, they were asked to assess the functionality. The
change in the height of the floor was also discussed during the meeting on May 24th and Mr. explained that in rebuilding the floor, it was created to
specifications as well as being properly leveled. The pre-existing floor
removed from the customer’s 100 year old home had likely not been level, causing
the minor change in height and resulting in minimal adjustments to the original
baseboards and door to allow for proper fit and function. On May 31st,
*** was able to meet with Mr. and the customers to assess the
radiant system. *** discovered the original tech on site made an
error in the initial system start up. This start up process was performed
correctly and the system was confirmed to be working properly with readings
from a thermal camera. Mrs. also questioned the floor construction and
height during this meeting, but it was determined by *** there were
no problems with either aspect.

As the project moved closer to
completion, Mrs. requested a meeting with Mr. and Mr.
*** to discuss final work items and estimates. This meeting was held on
September 9th, 2019. Tile work in the bathroom was again brought up
during this meeting, including over 40 tiles Mrs. believed should be
replaced. Mr. explained to the customer he did not notice issues
outside of industry standards and that it was not recommended to lift
individual tiles she was dissatisfied with as this could cause further damage
overall to the floor. Mr. believes that many “cracks” identified by
Mrs. are mainly small imperfections on the edges of the tiles, as can
occur when cut. Mr. and Mr. offered to have a professional tile
treatment company come in to present options on cleaning and address the grout
concerns she had. This also likely would help with the appearance of the tile
she was dissatisfied with. As of the end of this meeting, a plan forward had
been decided for the floor since it was agreed Mr. would schedule the
treatment company upon insurance approval.

A previous draw request earlier
on in the project had not been enforced by Mr., acknowledging some quality
issues by Paul Davis subcontractors involved with Mrs.’s project at the
start. For example, poor quality painting and plaster work from an original
crew was pointed out to Mr. during a site visit. Mr. agreed
with the quality concerns and Mr. brought in a different crew to
address. Also, while starting the work on the sub floor an error was made in the
construction originally. Finally, ceiling cracking did occur from the sub floor
demolition. However, each of these issues were addressed by the project team. No
remaining painting quality concerns were mentioned by Mrs. during the
September meeting. The sub floor error was observed and corrected, resulting in
the finished floor being at the appropriate specifications. The cracking ceiling was also addressed after
the bathroom floor was complete.

Much work had been completed and
addressed by Paul Davis throughout the time involved on Mrs. project
and the bathroom had also been put together again as a functional space. Therefore,
once Mr. was notified on November 6th, 2019 that insurance
approval was received for the tile cleaning, a payment draw was now requested
to continue with final completion as the customers had received the full funds
of the project from insurance. On November 26th, a payment breakdown
was also sent to the customers. On December 12th, Mrs. replied
in an email they would submit payment once the work was completed. Mr.
then spoke with Mrs.’s insurance agent on December 17th when
the agent called to check in on the project. Mr. explained the draw
payment had been requested to proceed with remaining work and so the project had
been on hold. In his conversation with Mr., the agent did not feel this
was an unreasonable request based on the expenses paid out by the company so
far. Mrs.
*** informed Paul Davis she was not willing to pay the $20,000 payment draw
but had offered $4,000 during email conversations. Paul Davis attempted then to
compromise with the customer and reduced the request to $12,000. In continuing
email communications, the customer also explained she was no longer satisfied moving
forward with the floor treatment and would accept only full replacement of the
tile.

Upon receiving this information,
Mr. contacted Carpet Service International who offered to perform an
inspection the following day. However, Mrs. declined the meeting
stating she was having an appraiser out to review the costs of the project. After
this meeting with the insurance appraiser, Mrs. sent an email on
January 12th, 2020 to Mr. stating these values and
explaining she was considering having the entire bathroom floor replaced,
including the cement and heat tubing. Her email explained that once another
company provides a quote for the remaining repairs, she will Pay Paul Davis the
balance. Her email offered an alternative option to speak with a supervisor and
work with another project manager. Mr. reached out a second time to the
flooring subcontractors involved and they again offered to evaluate the work
and discuss options with the customer. On January 14th, 2020 Mr.
*** contacted Mrs. again to set up an appointment, but Mrs.
declined and filed the Revdex.com complaint towards Paul Davis.

Paul Davis understands and
acknowledges this has been a long process for the customers and one which has
not always gone smoothly. Unfortunately, even before Paul Davis was involved,
Mrs. experienced damages to her home from the plumber she hired
independently to repair the pipe break. This damage was pointed out by Mrs.
*** during her initial inspection with Mr.. To assist with this
situation, Mr. wrote an additional estimate to have these issues
repaired and provided it to Mrs.’s insurance for approval. Paul Davis therefore
has worked throughout its involvement to address any type of issue or concern
expressed by Mrs.. As a general contractor, Paul Davis works with and
relies on partner subcontractors to provide professional and quality
workmanship in many different trades. From time to time however, workmanship
does not always meet the company or customer standards. In this case Paul Davis
attempts to work directly with the subcontractors to rectify the situation.
This is done so errors can generally be completed as quickly and easily as
possible since the company already familiar with the project and workmanship can
often provide the best solution. Workmanship issues are also handled in this
manner as it is Wisconsin law that a contractor has the “Right to Cure” any
claims of construction defects. This law certainly provides a customer the
opportunity to claim a defect, but contractors and suppliers have the right to
inspect and/or test any alleged defects and access must be provided in a timely
manner for the completion of any such inspections or testing.

Mrs.’s complaint towards
Paul Davis covers various concerns while the company has been involved with
repairs to her home after a pipe burst in January 2019. Lack of oversight and
management response, workmanship issues, and billing concerns are mentioned by Mrs.
*** during her experience so far, resulting in a request to work with a
more experienced Paul Davis project manager to achieve more timely service. It
is also the wish of Paul Davis to successfully complete Mrs.’s repairs
in a suitable time frame and it is the opinion of Paul Davis that the company
has attempted it’s best to achieve this shared goal. Although oversight has not
been as consistent as wished for both Paul Davis and Mrs. due to
staffing changes, Paul Davis representatives have always been involved in the
project. In fact, the desired outcome of her complaint has already taken place
as Mr. who began his involvement in June is the most senior project
manager in the company. In relation to
the time frame of Mrs.’s project, the majority of work could be
completed in roughly 2 to 3 weeks. However, the bathroom tile floor remains to
be inspected and currently prevents advancement of her repairs. Lastly while
management did not directly reach out to Mrs., Paul Davis management
and president are both aware of the issues and concerns of the customer,
therefore assigning the company’s most senior project manager to assist. Paul
Davis management also supports how Mr. and Mr. have handled Mrs.
***’s project as shown in the effort committed throughout acknowledging all of Mrs.’s concerns, correcting mistakes when they occurred, and attempting
to work through ones which remain unsettled. Mr. also made financial
considerations throughout Mrs.’s project, postponing the first payment
draw, providing a discount on a flooring change order, and compromising on the recent
draw request. Mr. has therefore provided the same solutions management
could have throughout the process. Despite a current disagreement in the
appropriate solution to her tile flooring, Paul Davis believes the actions and
efforts of Mr. show his and the company’s dedication to the project
completion and Mrs.’s satisfaction.

Between the time of Mrs.
***’s submitted complaint and the company’s response Paul Davis did receive
a payment from Mrs. in the amount of $13,000. This payment arrived on
January 23rd, 2020 with a letter again requesting Mr. is
removed and the project proceeds with another project manager. This payment
certainly removes the financial hold on Mrs.’s project, but the
flooring issue remains unresolved. Regardless of which estimator is involved in
the final stages, the flooring concern needs to be settled to determine the
next steps forward. Unfortunately, as of the submission of this letter Mrs.
*** has twice refused an appointment with Carpet Service International and
her most recent requirement to Paul Davis is full replacement for the bathroom floor
based on information she received from two tilers. Regardless of any
information Mrs. may have from additional tile companies, that is not sufficient
cause to deny the tile installer an inspection or to withhold payment to Paul
Davis for work completed. Paul Davis has not received any communication from representatives
of Mrs.’s insurance company that the flooring has been identified as
unacceptable and replacement is required. Mr. and Mr. do not
believe the current floor has any issues in materials or workmanship. Mrs. herself selected and supplied the
tile product and hired ***, the company responsible for the flooring
specifications, who also evaluated the floor and did not determine any
defect. Therefore, it is the opinion of Paul Davis that Carpet Service
International must first be allowed to inspect the flooring before discussions
regarding the bathroom floor can continue. If a disagreement still exists after
their inspection, it is recommended an authorized 3rd party should review
the work to determine if it is within proper standards. If the floor is deemed
to be within correct standards, Paul Davis is still willing to discuss with Mrs.
*** alternative options to replacement to better align with her
expectations.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

On 3/5/20, I sent the following message to ***, "Paul Davis is acting in bad faith. In my first message, I asked not to work with Mr., because all of these problems happened during his poor oversight. Please encourage them to respond immediately. I will be meeting my side and arrangement by looking for an experienced tiler today."

Since sending this message, I have waited for a response from Paul Davis Restoration. I have also had the tiler in to look at the floor and he is working on a report.

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Southeast and Fox Valley WI Response • Mar 26, 2020

Mrs. states in her most recent response that Paul
Davis was “acting in bad faith” when suggesting Mr. be the point of contact
regarding the necessary inspections. No bad faith or indifference to Mrs.
***’s request was intended in this suggestion by the company. It was
natural for management to assign Mr. in this role as he is the most familiar
with the flooring situation. Previous communications from the company indicate that as one of Paul Davis' most experienced project managers, Mr. would be the main individual coordinating any remaining work necessary for the project itself. However, upon Mrs.
making her wishes clear to work with another employee, Mr. was also assigned to move forward with handling the flooring inspection. This was shared in a communication to Mrs. on March 11th. A tiling consultant has been selected by Mr. and he has been in contact with Mrs. since her March 20th communication.

Thank you,

We had a fantastic experience with Paul Davis. We were connected to them by our insurance company after a tree fell on our home. They handled all repairs, which was roof damage along with some damage to the siding. Our project manager, Chris, was great. He kept us informed along the journey and was always easy to get in touch with. They left the house looking better than before the tree fell! Would definitely recommend them!

Laura, thank you for sharing your experience working with Paul Davis! We appreciate your time and comments. We are happy to hear of the good communication throughout your project and your feedback will be shared with Chris and the rest of the staff involved. We thank you for your recommendation and for the opportunity to be be of service to you!

Paul Davis was tapped by my insurance company to work on a mold issue that started in the unit downstairs.
July of 2019
The man who owns the unit downstairs had a tragic fall and I did my best to streamline the process to have one contractor work on the units.
Sadly Paul Davis would cancel, they would stop touching base about the project.
They stated they were working with the man downstairs insurance when they came out to do a moisture test.
They were not sure they had permission to investigate in his unit.
my insurance who checks in nearly weekly said they were waiting for Paul Davis
I get call from the man's family that I am not doing enough.
I didn't reply because I was insulted.
this was late September
I then get word from my insurance Paul Davis talked to my building we were moving forward.
I replied great want to get me up to speed as I haven't heard anything.
Get an email from paul davis looking to come out to set up a lockbox.
and then a call from my building and I suddenly am getting threats of legal action
I ask them what was said as it seems when he talks to other parties on the project, I get blamed for working or not doing my part.
I asked my insurance to remove paul davis from my case.
they moved forward with telling my building I was not working with everyone to add fuel to the fire.
I now have to deal with lawyers and condo management thinking I am not doing my part because Paul Davis likes to disappear for weeks and blame shift.

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Southeast and Fox Valley WI Response • Dec 20, 2019

Our office received the assignment to Ms.’s claim on July 18th, 2019. Paul Davis estimator, ***, met with Ms. on July 23rd for an initial inspection regarding water and mold damage in her unit. During this inspection, no visible mold was found. Mr. informed Ms. of the next step to try and identify the wet affected areas by having a moisture reading performed. Ms. informed Mr. that due to starting a new job recently she could only meet after 6:30pm.

During the next few months, Paul Davis attempted to accommodate Ms.’s request for an after-hours inspection for a moisture reading in her unit. A set appointment was canceled by Ms. and another set appointment was canceled by Paul Davis due to a scheduling conflict with another project. During this time of attempted scheduling, Mr. was in contact with the insurance adjuster informing him of the status of the claim and the continued efforts to arrange the moisture reading.

On October 8th, roughly two and a half months after the initial meeting with Ms., our mitigation team met with Ms. to complete a moisture reading. Unfortunately, after the length of time all readings were showing as normal, but visible mold had now begun to form. Based on the visible mold, a treatment plan was presented within a week to Ms.’s insurance. After approval, Mr. reached out to Ms. to inform her and to plan the approved work. After a week with no response back, Mr. tried to contact Ms. again. In the meantime, Mr. had been contacted by condominium management to check in on the progress of the project and stated they would assist in trying to reach Ms. as well to get things moving forward.

Mr.’s next communication with Ms. was when she informed him that she contacted her insurance company asking to have Paul Davis removed from her claim. Ms. informed Mr. that she no longer wished to work with the company since Paul Davis got condominium management involved in the situation. Upon learning of Ms.’s request, Mr. updated her insurance adjuster about her wishes. It was agreed that Paul Davis would discontinue any further involvement. After Mr.’s conversation with the adjuster Ms.’s file was closed and this also included any involvement with the neighbor’s unit downstairs as they were being treated together as one project. Therefore, Ms.’s desired outcome of her submitted complaint has already taken place. Her request was previously communicated to Mr., discussed with her insurance adjuster, and completed.

It is unfortunate to learn that this interaction with our office has led to a complaint regarding the ethics of Paul Davis employees. In this instance, an incompatibility of schedules did cause delays in trying to set up inspections and follow through with the established demolition and mold remediation in Ms.’s unit. Paul Davis had not yet begun any mitigation or demolition work at Ms.’s home when she requested the company be removed from the claim, and in fact, no contracts had yet been signed with Ms. as her project was still in a scheduling phase. In addition, contrary to Ms.’s complaint, Paul Davis did not disappear from the project but instead continued to reach out for months after the initial meeting, even offering to complete a weekend inspection in attempt to move the project forward. It is unclear why Ms. believes Paul Davis would start any legal measures regarding her service or what unethical actions are believed to have been carried out by Paul Davis or any company employees.

Regardless, the company’s involvement with Ms.’s project ended when she requested her insurance company to remove Paul Davis. Once this was shared with Mr., this request was respected and granted. Therefore, it is the position of Paul Davis that no unethical actions were taken by the company or its respective employees and the submitted complaint is unnecessary as Ms.’s decision was respected and the requested outcome has already in fact taken place. While Paul Davis disagrees with some of the statements in the complaint of Ms., it is of course Ms.’s decision to work with the company of her choosing. Paul Davis wishes Ms. success in her company selection and completion of her needed mold mitigation.

The Paul Davis culture is one of impeccable customer service. From very early in my Paul Davis experience, I was contacted regularly. The initial call I received outlined what the process was going to look like before I was even put in touch with my project manager. This put my mind right at ease.
Once I started dealing with Moshe ***, the process only got easier and more comforting. From start to finish everything was well organized. I never had to chase anyone down for information. I never even wondered what was going on because Moshe was always in contact with me, keeping me apprised. He would also go out of his way to explain what was happening in my home in a very knowledgeable way that still made sense to me as a layperson.
Considering that I had toxic mold in my house, you might imagine that this was a stressful time for my family. Though this season has been a very stressful one, my family has had great support in Paul Davis overall and Moshe *** specifically. Throughout the process Moshe dealt with my homeowners insurance company. He outlined every part of the process, sometimes multiple times if I didn't understand what was about to happen.
I think one of the best things about working with Moshe is that he is not hardened to the fact that his clients are going through a very difficult time. It would be easy for him to get very calloused towards how hard it is for the people going through this situation but he's not. Moshe takes a personal interest in the safety of his clients and recommended we get air quality tests to make sure that he had achieved a job well done.
The remediation team was extremely thorough. I only watched parts of the process but I couldn't believe how dedicated Isaiah, Eddie, and Juan were to seeing the job done well. I would recommend Paul Davis to anyone for mold remediation because they value excellence and accountability. I plan to use them for reconstruction as well and will update my review after the fact

Professional, fast, and efficient. Great Team! We will be doing business with them again in the future.

I first found out about Paul Davis after my insurance adjuster recommended the company after our church fire occurred on Wednesday, July 10. On Thursday, July 11, Paul Davis began the restoration process. All of their staff that I met were friendly, professional and encouraging. The greatest impression I had was made by Hugo ***. Hugo kept me up to date with the entire process on a day to day basis. I really appreciate his level of sincere compassion and professionalism. If I had a question or concern or needed something done over - Hugo made sure it was done! Mr. made sure that the project was completed in time for our church's 24th year anniversary and celebration. I really am grateful and blessed and I thank God for these angels who took care of our church as if it were their own!
-Pastor *** Blessed Deliverance M.B.C.

Having a fire in my home was to say the least, a life changing experience and excessively stressful. That said, one of the things which has caused my life to again normalize has been the handling of my personal belongings by Paul Davis. Eric *** and his crew have taken care of our memories from day one and continued their level of excellence to today. From irreplaceable family heirlooms to the respectful cataloging of that which was personally lost, I cannot thank them enough for their efforts and diligent work.

Matthew, thank you for your kind words about your experience with Paul Davis. Your comments will be shared with Eric and the other staff involved on your project. Our work and efforts are to help try and assist things return as back to normal as possible for our customers and our office is happy hear Eric and his crew were able to relieve some of the stress of your experience with a house fire. Thank you again for the opportunity to be of service.

We used Paul Davis after a lightning strike and they restored our arts and crafts style home to what it was before the fire and electrical damage. They professionally packed and removed all of our personal belongings to protect it during the restoration process. Everything was returned and moved in with a professional team to ensure no damage. We are happy to be home and pleased with the end result of working with PD!

Our basement flooded for the first time since we moved in and we didn’t know what to do. Every house in our neighborhood is up on a hill so they weren't built with sump pumps and it was stressful to feel helpless when we called two other companies in town for help. We were extremely lucky to have been told about Paul Davis! They sent Jon *** to our home to assess the situation and call an estimator so that we could have an idea of how much it would cost to clean up. Amazingly enough Eric ***, the estimator, called us within the hour with fantastic news and we were lucky enough to have a team of five wonderful guys come to our house that same day 6 hours after the first call. Juan *** and his team of guys worked hard as soon as they arrived at 4:30 until they were finished at 12:45 the next morning. His team consisted of Luis, Isea, Eddie, and Shawn. Eddie was tasked with helping my husband and I pack up everything we weren’t able to move while the other guys quickly started moving pieces of furniture onto blocks and stopping the water. Anytime that I had a question one of the gentlemen stopped to answer or help us with moving things to our garage. We were both extremely grateful for the entire mitigation team at Paul Davis and we are looking forward to working through the rest of the process with the structure team to finish the basement.

The Paul Davis team worked efficiently and effectively. The moved all the home goods into the garage and left it very well organized. Bryan is a joy to work with, especially since I was not present and having surgery when they did the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has water or fore damage as the situation is very stressful.

Even though I had a tough water damage situation to deal with, Paul Davis came to my house immediately and addressed all my concerns from cleaning my flooded basement to putting together a very detailed list of damages for my insurance compnay. All the workers were very professional, respected my home, and the follow up was amazing. If you ever need a company that you can trust and treats you with respect while doing amazing work, I would highly recommend Paul Davis.

Lightning struck our house causing extensive damage to our home. The Paul Davis team treated us like family members from the first night when they arrived to tarp the roof, all the way through the move back in 6 months later. The quality of the work was top notch and they promptly took ownership of anything that went wrong, remedying the situation and exceeding expectations. We were impressed with their professionalism and their detailed restoration of our arts and crafts bungalow built in 1918.

I could not be more pleased. Everyone was professional & I was very satisfied with the reconstruction.
Thankyou

On June 27th, 2019, after a great day with good friends, we were coming home and noticed that the sky was not only grey, it was black!! I said to my husband "lets get home before the storm hits"! Well when we turned onto our block all I could say was OH MY GOD..the storm had already hit HARD! As my husband got out of the car to survey the outside of our house, I went in. I screamed for my husband to come inside! There was a tree in our bedroom!!! Like a missile, a large tree had broken off in the wind, went through the ceiling and about 8ft. of tree was dangling right next to the bed!! One or both of us could have been killed!!! Well after we called our insurance company and got a claim number .,Then the adjuster came over the next day and we told him we didn't know who to call or what to do, and he recommended Paul Davis Restoration, which we did! They were at our house 24 hours later!!! Every question I had, they had the answer, every crew that came such as painters, drywallers, construction workers, etc. were as courteous as can be! They made us feel confident and that everything would be okay!! They also were aware that I would be having spinal surgery the next week, so they made certain to work quickly and quietly so I could rest! One thing that I so appreciated was how they took such care with all our belongings, especially our bedroom set which was over 100 years old! They even brought a pod and set it on our lawn so that our antique furniture wouldn't have to "travel" and possibly cause harm!! I so appreciated that! The job was done and finished by September 4th!. I would recommend Paul Davis Restoration to ANYONE that has had damage of any kind, or who might just need some work done!! Thanks Paul Davis, we now have our house and our lives back!!
