Thomas N. and his partner are very professional employees. They completed all that I requested (two inside and two outside valve replacements) in a timely manner.
Thomas insured the connections were secure without leaks. I would recommend both men for any future plumbing tasks.

5 star problem resolution - very creative and efficient and conscientious.

On Thursday March 10th my service technician from Essigs arrived to fix a leaking toilet. When he stepped out of his truck he looked like a Plumbers version of Doodie Houser. I swear I have underwear older than him. His name is Jeremy and he is 21. My skepticism turned to admiration as he put his shoe covers on, listened to my problem and set to work ......explaining in detail everything he was doing. Jeremy is professional, knowledgeable and courteous....a very pleasant young man. He took care of my problem toilet, fixed a very slow filling washing machine and advised me on how and when to add the salt to my water softener tank......more than I had even known I needed help with. I can;'t say enough positive things about my experience with Essig and Jeremy and my only concern is now that I have told you what an excellent technician he is....he will be too busy to come to my aid the next time I need a plumber. Treat him well Essig's....he is a rare gem!!!

Mike W. was our service pro for an emergency appt. on a HOT Saturday. Our central AC unit decided to take a break from working on one of the hottest weekends and we had to call Essig. Essig is always pleasant to deal with from beginning to end. The CSR's are always pleasant, and we always have a great experience overall. Mike W. showed up on the time they quoted and was very friendly and informative. You can't go wrong with Essig.

Always prompt and reliable. Professional and always gives you multiple options. Sure there are cheaper options out there but who wants to sit around and wait for a week without hot water? Not my wife! When traveling I have peace of mind knowing if anything goes wrong, Essig is just a call away.

We were very happy and satisfied with the service provided by "Mike Wenger" from the Essig Plumbing and Heating Co. Courteous and efficient! Really took time to explain everything. Great Service!

Hello,I talked with my HVAC service manager and we have had guys out there the last two days doing all we can to get them water.  This customer has no money and we are returning to do this work at no cost just to get them water.  The additional problems are issues with the plumbing to the...

Fast,and reliable service

My alert on my heating system resulted in a call to P. W. Essig and my service pro was Mike W. He assessed the problem quickly and came up with an alternate solution when my present part was no longer available and another damaged part had to be reconstructed. He was courteous throughout the service visit and kept me informed of the cause and how he could remedy the problem. Heat was restored as promised just in time before the cold snap hit.

I just had one of the best service pros ( Mike W.) form Essig come out and clean and service my gas furnace. Mike was very friendly and helpful with all my question. Mike knew what he was talking about and didn't waste anytime getting the job done.

1.)    Yes, we had a scheduling error due to the fact that we had 2 new temps working for us that week and they were learning the computer system.2.)    Our technicians do not carry every single part for every single system on their truck so we had to special...

order the part.  Our tech did show the customer how to keep the heat running until the part came in so the customer would not be without heat.3.)    On January 5th we were running behind due to emergencies, we had a number of our service partners, who pay monthly fees,  without heat that morning,  so we fell behind in the schedule by a couple hours. 4.)    On the return visit our tech did notice there was another issue after putting in the part that was ordered.  We have very good technicians and we train them to make sure everything is in good working order before stepping away from a job.  Unfortunately we did not see this issue the first time.  Unfortunatley the part was not a stocked item so he had to special order it.5.)    We then returned on January 12th, installed the new parts and unit worked fine. Unfortunately it was just one of those times where the parts had to be special ordered.As for our customer service, we were going thru a transition period during that time where 2 of our customer service representatives were replaced and we had some temps in answering phones.  Since then we have hired 2 new full time CSR’s that fit our way of doing business.

This is the second time Michael W[redacted] came to our home to work on both the CA and my domestic heater. Michael was very fruendlt, knowlegable and conducted himself very professionally. He explained any problems before the work began. We were very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend Mike W[redacted] for his expertise in the heating and cooling industry.

Had Mike W[redacted] at my home for a HVAC inspection. Very professional and trustworthy. I am asking that he services my home all of the time

I had a horrible experience with ESSIG's Plumbing out of Reading, PA. I had them out to my house for their $99 "drain cleaning special" in which they were to use a plumbing snake to clean out the main drain. When they first arrived - without even assessing the line and attempting to thoroughly clean the line with the snake, they tried to "upsell" to a hydro pressure washer main drain clean - for a charge of ~$1800. When I declined that option, they attempted to charge ~ $800 to snake the line and include a limited warranty. I declined that option, and asked them to snake the line thoroughly. Well, instead of doing a thorough job, they left substantial blockage/roots in the line to the extent that by the following afternoon the floor drain in my basement was blocking up yet again. I called them right away, they were to come out to my house by 8AM. They never showed. So, I had to reschedule, and requested a refund. Instead, they sent two techs out who ran a camera down the line and SHOWED ME the debris and roots that they did NOT clear the first time they were out to the house. I told them that had they performed their work to industry standard plumbing practices the FIRST time they were out the house the line would have been clear, and the water would not still be backing up. They AGAIN tried to say that it would cost considerably more than $99 for the main drain clean out, and I told them that they were fraudulently advertising the $99 main drain clean out special, and asked them to refund what I paid and leave my property. I would up having to rent my own snake to clean the line, and easily removed roots which quickly opened the line. Please do not contract with this company, they're unethical and dishonest.

I had Darrin over to fix my heat pump on Wed 11-2-2016. I just wanted to say he provided excellent service and was very professional. I would recommend Paul w. Essig, Inc. and Darrin for all you heating/a/c needs.

I had Justin D[redacted] (of Essig) come out to my house to service my heating system. Justin was very polite and he knew exactly what he was talking about and was very helpful when asking questions! He then came back out to give me some upgrades to my heating system and did an outstanding job, and again, he was very helpful with any questions I had. If you need services for heating, cooling, or plumbing, I would strongly suggest Essig!

Darrin E[redacted] Essig Inc., serviced the heating system in our home today. It is a boiler system that Essig installed several years ago. Darrin was very professional, polite, provided a clear explanation of the service tasks he performed, and cleaned up nicely upon completion of the work. He provided excellent service. I highly recommend Essig.
