Payment Management Services, USA Reviews (%countItem)

This company is calling my place of employment. I answer phones for a living and told them my line was recorded to not call. I wasn't sure of what the debt was and asked that they send any information me to me. They refused and continue to call. They told me the name of the company was ***. So they are not even using the correct company name.

Payment Management Services, USA Response • Jan 25, 2019

Dear Ms.,

We believe this complaint was sent to our company in error. We have no record of an account in Ms. name nor do we process payments for an agency named ***. Please note, Payment Management Services is a 3rd party payment processing company and we would not be making any outgoing calls to anyone.

Frank W called representing this company and told us that they would pursue litigation on a fraudulent account we tried to fight with a credit card company and that they were prepared to settle the debit. I stated that we did not owe anything and it was reported as fraud and he threatened to take us to court. To avoid issues he said he could settle the debit for $100. He recorded the settlement and we paid the $100 to be done with it. We were promised an email and a letter about the settlement and when we returned the call when we did not receive any proof and the money had been removed, Frank stated that they needed more money or they would take us to court. They lied about the offer to try to extort more money from us. They have us on record, they recorded the transaction, with the terms and conditions of the settlement. We should not have to deal with any addition payments.

Dear Ms.

We are in receipt of the concerns Mr. has. Payment Management Services USA, LLC is a third-party payment processing company. The person he had spoken with and setup a payment arrangement with is a company that we process payments for. We have reached out to the manager of that company and the account will be closed as settled and the documentation requested by Mr. will be mailed out.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

I have contacted this company over 2 months ago to stop deducting out my account in the amount of 104.00 because I lost my job and it is making my account overdrafts. There is no live person to speak too.

We have reached out to the manager of the company payments were originally set up with and they have been in contact with Ms. to assist her. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

This company called and threatened to show up at my work, saying I was late on payments for a loan I had defaulted. We came to an agreement that I would pay $375.00 for the month of September, November, and December and that would complete my payments. They charged my account again in December without authorization. I have tried to call multiple times, and they only have an answering system that says they will call back in 24 hours. I have left multiple messages and have yet to receive a call back. I have disputed this with my bank as well. This company is a scam, and I need my money that they stole from me, including the other three months they took my money because obviously this isn't a real business.

I received a phone call on 12/26/18 from a gentleman that was trying to serve me papers regarding a situation. He left a contact number. I called and left a message. The call was returned and I spoke with a gentleman who was pressuring me to make an agreement for payment arrangements. He also said that I was sent paperwork in the mail and I told him that I no longer lived at the address that he was speaking of. I moved from there in January so I had no idea what he was speaking of. He said that I was sent an amount for settlement which was way lower than what he was pressuring me into making an agreement. I wanted information either mailed or emailed concerning the issue because I verbalized that I did not trust the phone call and it could be a scam. He totally dismissed my comment. I was then told I would receive information in my email and it was never sent. I do not remember giving them my card information or authorizing any type of payment from my bank account.

This is ridiculous. I was contacted by this company in regards to a debt that I owed. I was informed of a payment plan in order to reduce my debt. Initially, the correct amounts were taken out. Recently, an incorrect amount, much more than was agreed upon, has been taken out of my account. I tried to reach out with the contact information I was given in order to resolve this issue and could only leave messages. I left a few and my phone call was never returned.

I came to an agreement with payment managment services over a past due account. They were to automatically debit my account once a month for the amount of $305.30. They have started to debit my account twice a month which was not authorized by me. At this point I can't get ahold of anyone to ask them why they are debiting twice monthly.

Payment Management Services, USA Response • Oct 08, 2018

Dear Ms***, Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr.’s allegations. Upon examination we found in the conversion of our system Mr. was charged twice in the month of September. Payment Management Services USA, LLC has reversed the over payment back to Mr.. His next scheduled payment is October 26, 2018. He is set up on a payment arrangement scheduled to automatically debit once per month. We apologize for the oversight during the conversion of our systems and would like to reassure Mr. his arrangement is set up as a once a month occurrence.

I received private phone call from a lady, who stated that she's a private investigator and she was scheduled to show up to my home and serve me with court papers, regarding an account that I have. She gave me a number to contact regarding the situation. I called the number and spoke to a gentleman who pressured me into giving my debit card info. I told him that in order for me to set up a payment arrangement, I need something in writing, validating that the debt is mine. It is now 9/21 and I have yet to get something in writing, however I revived voicemail message stating to call , regarding file # ***. At this point, if the company would like to get the debt settled, I'm requesting something in writing validating that the debt is mine, as well as the option to get a settlement amount, as I've explained my financial situation to the gentleman, but he did not seem to care.

Payment Management Services, USA Response • Sep 28, 2018

Dear Ms.,

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. allegations.

Upon examination we find no record on Ms. being a client Payment Management Services USA, LLC.

Payment Management Services USA, LLC is a third-party payment processing company. If an individual pays a bill through one of our clients, we process the payment for that client and remit the money upon clearance of the consumer’s funds. We do not make telephone calls for our clients and we do not speak to their consumers.

We believe that Ms. may have inadvertently mistaken our organization for one our clients who she was working with.

We apologize that we could not be of further assistance regarding this matter, but we are not the company in question.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I received a phone call from from someone by the name of Hailey, informing me that my payment of $50 was not processed. The voicemail message that I received from her, on 9/12/18, stated to give her a call back on another number, , and reference the file number ***. I've attached a screenshot of the declined payment from my card.

Can you please have the company verify their location, as well as if either phone number belongs to them.

We have reached out to the manager of that company and they will be in contact with Ms. and will be able to answer all of her questions.

I am seeking confirmation that the total of $715.00 I've paid already to this company is accurate and was truly owed. This company has been severely rude and threatening. They slick talked their way into convincing me I owed this money and obtained my card information for payment. They will not return my calls or voice mails when trying to reach out for a confirmation number, receipt of payment, or a billing statement. I'm convinced this company is not a true service company and I'm hoping to get confirmation that the money I have paid was owed or should be refunded to me for fraudulent activity. They continue to try to charge my card even after my final payment date and I was forced to change my bank account information and get a new debit card because of this company. Please help.

Payment Management Services spoke with myself and my mother informing me that there was a "Civil Judgement" on me and that they were servicing my account from the original creditor of "***". Payment Management Services agreed to take payments out of my debit account through *** every week in the amount of $50.90. There was also a payment of $104.00 to start the payment agreement. However, with checking my credit report to check the status on my "***" account, my account is actually being serviced by *** RECOVERY SERVICES. I have called and they have confirmed that they are the ONLY creditor servicing my account.

Payment Management Services USA, LLC is a 3rd party payment processing company. We have never spoken with Ms. as she alleges in her complaint. Any contact she had was with the company holding her account. Upon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to the company holding Ms.’s account. They have advised that they spoke with Ms. and this has been resolved. In fact, Ms.’s last payment processed on May 19, 2018 and her account is now paid in full. The company has also told us that they have already sent Ms.’s paid letter to her as well. Should Ms. have any further questions or concerns, she should feel free to reach out to the company she setup her payment arrangement with.

On December 13th, 2017, I was contacted a gentleman who was very rude, but worked for a debt collector. He stated that there was an outstanding debt that they retrieved & they were trying to serve me with court papers to issue me a 25% garnishment to my wages for an unpaid debt. The gave me an option to make a one-time payment to clear the account. I made a $1775.00 payment on December 13th, 2017. I never received the confirmation email they said I would receive in the next 24-48 hours of the payment being made. I was able to contact the guy who called me initially when I had the card info to make my payment, however when I called that number back to see about my receipt being emailed, I was sent to an voicemail of a woman I have never talked to. Then towards the end of April 2018, I received a phone call from ANOTHER debt collection agency (***) saying they received my debt & They were coming after me for the original amount the first company was trying to collect from me. I have called the number that was on my credit card statement from the payment I made numerous times, left several voicemails, sent an email to the general inquiry email address listed on Payment Management Services website. I either want the receipt of my payment made saying the account has been closed/paid in full or I want a FULL refund of $1775.00, the total amount I paid since they sold my debt AFTER it was paid in full. That is illegal.

Customer Response • Feb 22, 2018

I would like a partial refund for the last 2 months because as far as I'm concerned my account was paid in full back in December of 2017. They took more money off of my card for January and February. I have called many times and left them messages, but they will not call me back. I've had to cancel my credit card and I will no longer be doing any business with them. The amount that I'm owed is $305.60.

This company contacted me in regards to my express credit card through cometity bank. They were very rude and professional on the phone. They threatened me with a lawsuit, they threatened to come to my place of employment to deliver "documents" that would have to be signed by a manager. Said I had to make a payment now or there would be a judgement and my wages would be garnished. I set up a payment plan asap because I was scared. After reading many horrible reviews on the company I sent them an email taking away all permissions to debit any more money from my account. I told them I was working with the original creditor. They still took money from my account after I had took away permission. I never got any reciepts or PROOF that this money was getting credited to the original debt. I feel like this company is a scam.

In Oct of 2014 Payment Management Service called and told me that I had a collection in their office for Ace Cash Express. Said once I paid them $498.00 my account with Ace would be settled. And that National Credit Adjusters are not the people that had this account. Spoke with a Ace representative stated that account was placed for collect with National Credit Adjusters in 2013. This is very unprofessional of these people , thank god for my bank statement when I was with that bank. And the fact that no one answers the phone is horrible.
