Peachtree Casualty Insurance Company Reviews (25)

Review: I was in an automobile accident with one of their clients on 4/1/2015 where I was hit from behind. The police report even states this fact. I called their company to file the claim and was give to [redacted]. After a few calls she called me once, but I was in a meeting and could not answer my phone. I have called her repeatedly since then, but they refuse to return my calls. From the reviews of the company I have read this is a common practice for this company. Because I was not injured attorneys will not help.Desired Settlement: I have two desired outcomes that I am seeking. First I would like the company to call me and make good on the repairs that their agency is responsible for because they insure the man that hit me Second I just want to make sure that the Revdex.com is aware of this company, and their dishonest practices. Do a quick search on the company and you will see this problem repeatedly. In fact I have not seen a single positive review yet.

Revdex.com,

Review: I was involved in auto accident with your insured on December 21st. My car is having to be repaired and I have been trying to get a rental car through your company. The adjuster, [redacted] does nor return phone calls. I have been trying him daily. A letter from my insurance company was faxed over to Peachtree on December 30th at 8:32 CT stating that they are aware of the property damage excess issue but requested that you provide a rental car for me. My insurance company will subrogate for what they can for the remaining amount. My insurance company's first priority is for me to not suffer any out of pocket expenses for this accident since it was not my fault. My insurance company is also trying to get my deductible paid for by your company but they have not heard back from you either. I have placed a call into [redacted] supervisor but have not heard back as of yet. Not having this rental car is putting a strain on my family.Desired Settlement: I want to have a rental car paid for by Peachtree as well as my $1,000 deductible because I am having to get my car fixed through my insurance company and should not have to suffer any out of pocket expenses.

We acknowledge receipt of your inquiry wherein [redacted] advised that his carrier, Allstate, provided us with permission to advance pay his deductible and place [redacted] into a rental vehicle. Our insured, Brett Share, carried $10,000 Property Damage limits under his Personal Auto Policy with Peachtree Casualty.

Review: I was involved in a car accident in April and this company represented the person that hit me. In the police report stated they was at fault. After a month of trying to contact the adjuster [redacted] and her fail attempts to return any of my phone calls I received a letter in the mail stating they not going to pay for the $4100 worth of damages because the insured won't return any of their calls. I just don't think that's right the insured gave permission to someone to drive his car and I have proof of that and it shows that of the person not answering their phone Calls thats proof enough. And after all that she still wouldn't return my call I had to speak to an receptionist to get the information because the supervisor waited a week to return my calls.Desired Settlement: Pay for my car.

Review: I have been trying to contact peachtree insurance for months now to change my policy. I just came back from deployment and I still can't get a hold of anyone. I am now tired and want to cancel my policy with them. I feel like I am getting ripped of. Whats the purpose of a insurance policy if you cant even get them on the phone. What can I do? I have my policy number and all the info needed.Desired Settlement: Cancel my policy

Response:

Hi [redacted],I spoke to the insured today and he stated cancelling his bank account to stop the automatic drafts. We discussed if he had duplicate coverage that I would backdate the cancellaiton in effort to refund premium for over charged insurance. We require the proof of duplicate coverage before cancellation. Once received, the backdated cancellation will be processed. I provided my email, phone, direct line and fax number to Mr. [redacted] in hopes he will respond accordingly. In December 2014 we left a detailed message for Mr. [redacted] to call us back and advised what documentation is required in order to cancel, but never heard back from the insured. Once I receive the required documentation, I will proceed accordingly. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I asked to be put on the automatic withdrawal of my payment from my checking account. A rep for Peachtree told me that she would set it up with my checking card information. I gave her all of my info to establish it. They told me they have no record of my asking to be put on automatic withdraw, and that I would have to fill out paperwork for it. I was not told this before. A female, I don't recall her name, said she could use my checking card information. My payment was not taken from my account and as of 1/12/14, they cancelled my policy. Now they ask me to pay about $261 to reestablish my insurance policy.Desired Settlement: I would like for my policy to be re-established with the automatic withdraw of the payment, how it was suppose to be, without making a $261 payment. I feel my monthly payment should be enough of payment since this was not my fault.

RE: Policy number [redacted] – [redacted]

Encl: 1. Revdex.com complaint dated January 21 2014; ID Number [redacted]

2. Payment History

3. E-Payment Authorization Form

4. Email to insured – Dated January 27, 2014

Dear [redacted],

In response to policy #[redacted], Personable General Insurance Agency (PGIA) received enclosure 1,

which is a request to reestablish Ms. [redacted]’s insurance policy that was cancelled for nonpayment. PGIA is

the administrator for Peachtree Casualty Insurance Company and we take this opportunity to respond.

On September 21, 2013, Ms. [redacted] requested to restart her cancelled policy number #[redacted] as it

lapsed for nonpayment on 7/25/2013. Her producer (Affiliated Agency) reestablished policy [redacted] effective

September 21, 2013 with a down payment of $189.34. This policy required monthly payments to be paid directly to

Peachtree Casualty Insurance Company with one of the payment methods below:

? Mail payment to the above address by the due date indicated on the installment bill and cancellation notice

? Western Union by phone ###-###-#### or online at www.myautoinsurancepayment.com for active policies

? E-Payment – via checking account only (no credit cards attached to checking account)

? Pay in producer’s office (Affiliated Agency)

Enclosure 2 is a payment history for policy #[redacted], which reveals Mrs. [redacted] made payments from

September 2013 thru December 2013. PGIA sent the insured a cancellation notice requiring a payment of $70.92

due by January 12, 2014. Unfortunately, we did not received the January 2014 installment payment resulting in

cancellation for nonpayment effective January 12, 2014.

Ms. [redacted] indicates requesting automatic withdrawals from her checking account via her checking card

information. PGIA’s payment methods are listed above and unfortunately, we do not offer to deduct payments using

a checking credit card service. In order to set up an E-Payment, enclosure 3 reflects we require the insured’s

signature and a voided check. The E-Payment form was not received by the insured or producer to set up the policy

on automatic payments.

On January 27, 2014 I emailed the insured (enclosure 4) to assist with her concerns and attempted to re-activate the

policy, but she has not returned my email or responded to the two voicemail messages I left on her phone #([redacted].

In the complaint, the insured stated someone (a female) requested to restart her policy for $261. It is unclear if this

conversation transpired with the producer although enclosure 4 reflects two payment options to restart her policy with

a lower down payment. These options are valid through April 12, 2014, if interested, the insured can call me directly

or contact PGIA’s Customer Service Department at ###-###-#### and press prompt #3 and then 2 for assistance.

If you have further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Quality Assurance Specialist on behalf of
