Review: PeekYou has listed information on the site without my permission. Although the information may be from public sources, I already removed my information from the sources that PeekYou is listing. PeekYou does not have an OptOut feature on the sire although there is one referred to. I have emailed PeekYou to request the data to be removed or provide assistance on removing the data. Review: I requested that this website remove all information about myself, my wife, and my entire family, but they did not to an unsatisfactory end. I filled out the proper forms and the result was basically that all of the personal information that I wanted removed was not removed. this to me is unsatisfactory service, and I want this to be rectified as quickly as possible. Review: Peekyou's privacy policy, stated on their website at [redacted], reads in part as follows:

"PeekYou will...Index only public web content"

and

"PeekYou can find only what [redacted], and [redacted] are also able to find. If these traditional search engines cannot find a piece of information, then PeekYou cannot either"

However, Peekyou is caching and retaining data that has been deleted for over a month from the following sites:

In other words, Peekyou is clearly serving as the repository for data, not as an aggregator as their stated Privacy Policy claims.

The partner sites in question were very coorperative about removing this data immediately, but Peekyou.com has continued to retain it.

Review: My name, last name, age, all the addresses that I have resided along with the names of my family members are published at peekyou.com. I have followed their "opt-out" instructions to get my information removed but it didn't work. I have contacted them several times at [redacted] (the e-mail address published on their site) and asked them to remove my information. Despite the fact that I told them I had someone else open up a credit card account in my name in the past and having a police case against a stalker (all true), my personal info is still up on their site, and I am yet to get a response personally. Review: To whom it may concern, a while back ago I did notice that on the "Peekyou.com", there was personal information about me, including my name, age, adress and etc.But this information on peekyou.com website was originated from "[redacted]" website as they were the source of the information. As it stated on the opt-out directions on Peekyou.com page, I did contact the source of this information, "[redacted]" to remove my information.To their credit, [redacted] removed this info as per my request,which was due to privacy concerns as well as being a prior victim of identity theft. On Peekyou.com's website is states that once the source removes the info from their site, my information would stop being passed through the automatic feed and will no longer show up on the peekyou.com website. Even though it has been a while, my main information such as name, age and adress is visible on Peekyou.com site,even though once clicked on it, the original source, [redacted] states the info does not exist.I have sent several emails to peek you.com's customer service email adresses over the past 8 days and I have not received a single response and my information is still available on their site.This is a big privacy concern for me.I can send the copies of all the emails that I have sent to this business, if needed.Desired Settlement: I ask that peekyou.com removes all the information on their site that refers to my name,age and adress in an urgent matter. This is a Privacy Policy issue. Peekyou.com is making it impossible to request to opt-out my information off their website. In their opt-out link, [redacted] ,the unique id field intentionally does not accept any id format, even when it is copied directly from their website. Their website Privacy page is advertising a pay service agency Reputation.com, which removes personal information from the internet and they have partnered with. Review: I contacted PeekYou to have my information removed from the PeekYou website. I never signed up for their website or any of their services nor authorized the use, collection or storage of any of my personal information in anyway by PeekYou or any of its affiliates. PeekYou has listed my information without my authorization and has been notified in writing several times to remove it and notified that they are in no way authorized to, display, use, collect, and sotre any personal information. Under the privacy pledge on their website - PeekYou has indicated: "3. Allow individuals to opt-out from its service simply and easily", however, this is not the case. When I contacted PeekYou and asked them to remove my info from their site - they refused. They insisted my information was generated by an automated search of websites containing public information and that they have no way of removing my info from their site because it was collected by someone else and generated elsewhere, they were merely re-posting. I felt they were being rather dismissive considering their privacy pledge indicates you can opt-out. Further, PeekYou continued to insist the information is not the property of PeekYou and therefore, PeekYou is not responsible for it being displayed on the PeekYou website and if I want it removed - I will need to go to the original source. I have continued to insist that PeekYou remove my name from their automated search and also, to stop storing and displaying any of my information on their website. In conjunction with this - I have also contacted all of the sites PeekYou linked on the PeekYou website as well as any other site on the internet that lists any of my information. It has been removed from these source companies. Therefore, my information is no longer publicly available, however, my information remains listed on the PeekYou website - the site clearly displays my name, age and address so it would appear that PeekYou has control over this information - including the ability to store and display at will. This would mean the PeekYou is fully capable of removing my information stored within their system and exclude my name from future searches and data collection.Desired Settlement: PeekYou must immediately and permanently remove any of my information from their site and any affiliate sites that they run and presently manage or may own, manage, etc. in the future and delete my name and information from any and all databases, current searches, and also, exclude my name on any future searches.

Review: The advertised service is to collect data from approx. 60 sites and provide this info for a small fee. You are led thru a series of data retrievals -- Each one "authenticated" and checked off. Then, you are required to pay a fee to retrieve the info. Once I paid the fee and rec'd the data on my test search, I found out how utterly useless the service is. I literally rec'd only the names and addresses of the 3 test names (total) that I ran ..... Information that I already had in hand. Other information, such as criminal records (including traffic tickets) was not provided on any of the three tests. I know that information exists and (importantly) it is readily available for free at individual circuit court sites. So this service did not assimilate it. Other information that was provided was 100% WRONG --- Again, I ran 3 test names thru: I knew the relatives, I knew the relatives, spouses, etc. The info provided was nearly totally wrong. The service also touted the collection of sex offenders near the targeted search individual --- (a) I don't comprehend the value of that relative to the individual being searched; and (b) Sex offender information is also readily & easily obtained FOR FREE via the internet website [redacted]. All-in-all, PeekYou provides nothing but a sales pitch. I would not ever rely on it for accurate or comprehensive data on an individual that I needed.Desired Settlement: The only acceptable outcome is a total refund of the charges.

Initially, they offered to refund 1/2 of the charges; I refused to accept that offer. At this date (11/**/2013), they have refunded the total charge.
