Ms. [redacted] : Thank you for reaching back out to us on this and I am glad to hear that you are okay. However, please understand that there are certain laws and statutes in place that apartment communities have to follow when it comes to leases. We work closely with our attorneys to ensure we are complying with those laws and while I understand that this has to be a tough situation for you, we do have to have documented records. There are multiple ways to go about obtaining these not only for us but for your safety and if you are working with an attorney I am sure they can help assist you with that matter. Per our files, we show that you had provided some documentation from February but did not request to be let out of your lease until October of this year. We have also spoken to our attorney and we cannot make any adjustments without further documentation. However, if you have further documentation from the police or courts, we would be happy to review and adjust our records as needed to potentially allow for a different outcome. Additionally, I need to note that if you have an attorney representing you, any communications should be going through the attorneys. The proper procedure would be to have your attorney reach out to ours and they can discuss the details of the situation. If not, you are welcome to reach out to our office and discuss this in further detail with the Asset Manager for this property. The main office number is [redacted] Thank you,PEM Real Estate Group

Ms***:Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your home at Casas de Soledad In regards to signage on the property, please be advised that there is a homeowners association on this property that governs signage Section of the CC&Rs specifically discusses the regulations

Good afternoon,The response provided is fundamentally falseWe have attempted to contact the corporate office on separate occasions with no responseThe property manager refuses to discuss any information with a 3rd party presentShe will only discuss the details on a to basisThe last time this topic was discussed in such a setting, the elderly lease holder left in tearsThe only purpose of this complaint is to notify PEM regarding the behavior of their employeesThis is the ONLY communication that PEM has responded toAlso, the property manager refuses several available cleaners stating the complex had to use an existing vendorShe then, to the best of our knowledge, had her son clean the unit hours later

Spoke with a lawyer, many landlords, and they have stated that the fact that my vehicle had been damaged and someone was trying to break into my apartment in the middle of the night, with a neighbor as a witness saying it did look like him, was substantial enoughPerhaps they have a bit of sympathy towards domestic abuse and the dangerous outcomesI had provided as many documents I could, as the phone I used to screenshot the evidence had been destroyedConstant verbal threats of, "I'll ruin your life." I refused to stay overnight on the property in fear of my safety and further damageLandlord requested an order of protection be served, however you cannot serve a homeless bum with no real locationHe could have been behind a dumpster for all I knowI left September 23rd, which probably saved even my life, my computers, and my violins. Previous resident told me that windows being shot out were not enough to terminate or even relocate on the property as wellIf this is what you define as a "safe environment," you should be sure to inform any future residence of what actually happensI hope you're aware of the sexual assaults in the area and potential shoot outs in the areaThe security guy is a jokeCamera's would do a better job than he does. I'm okay now since I moved, but I am not ready to let him get away with theft, breaking my walls at the apartment, stealing moneyand nonetheless letting my landlord get away with charging me for an unsafe situation and his damages
