Terrible company do not call them. First class HVAC fixEd our problem.

We called peninsulia oil to fix our heat problem on 2 occasions and they just put a bandage on it. The 3rd time literally 2 weeks apart from each other I called them because our tenants heat was not working once again and I called peninsulia at 2pm and the dispatcher said she would have someone out to the property. At 8pm the tenant called and said no one had shown up. I called peninsulia once again and the dispatcher said she would have someone go to the house. I received a call from the technician and he advised me that they would not come back to the house and of course I had a few choice words for him. I asked if his manager would call me and he told me that Dave told him he would not call his customer WTF is what I was thinking how bad was this customer service. My guess is that since they could not fix the problem the first 2 times they did not want to attempt to fix the problem again. I personally do not trust them at all or they don't know their [redacted] from a hole in the ground. I called First class heating and air and they came right out and took care of the problem. Thank First Class great job

So many wrongs that I don't know where to start. 1. They say they do automatic delivery but let you run out of propane 2. They charge you double the market price 3. They ask you to give them cash on delivery 4. They are unprofessional and very hard to get a hold of 5. Before I decided to change my services to use another company, I told them I was going to give them one last service and politely asked them to delivery on a specific date- come to my surprise, they failed us AGAIN and did not deliver- forget about not delivering- they never put in the order. Never..... and I mean NEVER do business with these guys.

Review: There have been several issues concerning charges to our account, as well as their customer service. This is probably the absolute worst company we have ever had to deal with. Our account was mischarged several different times. The propane was disconnected this summer. Contacted them in October about getting it reconnected and setting up a payment plan, only to be told that the entire balance would need to paid in order to restore service. Have been fighting with them since then (over 8 weeks!) about working out something. We finally were told by Don that they could come to pick up their tanks, refund us for the full tanks, then we would be responsible for the balance and we could seek propane elsewhere. We have been waiting over 6 weeks for this to happen. We have been told repeatedly that they were coming and that we were on the schedule, and no one has showed up. We have a 9 month old baby and it beginning to be freezing outside, so we need this issue resolved immediately because propane is our primary source of heat. I feel like we have tried reasoning with them and we are now at our wit's end, something needs to happen.Desired Settlement: Pick up their tanks as soon as possible, so we are able to find propane through another company.

Response:

The customer opened an account with Peninsula on 3/27/14. To date, their balance is $2,936.78 for product used, including late fees and finance charges. Customer has never made any payments since opening their account and using products. Balance past due, until we receive payment, there is nothing we can do for them.

Review: we had several service calls over last winter where they charged us for repairs that were either not done or should not have been done. I made several phone calls to talk to someone with never a return call back so I decided the best way would approach this would be to not pay the bill. no one ever called but instead turned us over to a collections agency. I spoke with the representative from the agency and he asked me to write in detail why I was in disagreement with the bill and I did with no response back either from the collections agency or Peninsula Oil. I would like a way to send the letter I sent going into detail the offenses and outright lies the service workers did to us.Desired Settlement: I have no problem paying the part for the oil we received but the part of the $1400.00 + bill that includes the labor and parts I will not be paying for

Response:

[redacted] was credited the total of $587.00 for all service work performed. Lisa was never billed $1,400.00. She had 3 work orders totaling $587.00, all which were credited back to her account. At this time there is a balance of $635.03 for an oil delivery in January 2014 that has not been paid.

Review: I called Peninsula on friday 12/5/2014 an stated I was out of oil an was told the earliest the could come deliver was monday morning 12/8/2014. I specifically told them I deffinanitly needed it by monday due to having two babies at home, one of which is two months old an is very ill, he goes to University of MD hospital every two weeks for testing. So we can not have him home with no heat. The customer service representative at that time assured me they would definatley make the delivery monday. So on monday 12/5/2014, I called on my way home from work to make sure they made my oil delivery an I spoke with a gentleman named [redacted] who specifically told me "yes they made your delivery [redacted], you are all filled up an should be good to go for awhile". So assuming the customer representative knew what he was talking about, My husband tries to reset our furnance, it would not restart so he goes outside to check our oil tank an it was bone dry. At this point we'd been out of oil for 4 days. I call peninsula back again an spoke with a woman named [redacted](did not give her last name), explained they were supposed to make our delivery today an I specifically called an hour previous to make sure they did, an was told yes they'd made it but yet our tank was still empty. She mentioned they may have taken my oil to the wrong house an she would have the oil delivery driver give me a call right away. She said they usually charge a $200 fee to do an emergency fill up but sense it was their mistake I shouldnt need to pay the fee. Within a few mintues the "on call" delivery driver calls an says he can come deliver 30 gallons to get us by but we would need to pay $200 for him to come. So I mentioned what the representaive, [redacted], had said an he said he would need to speak with the oil manager an call me back. He called back shortly an said even though I was told they would deffinatley be there monday 12/5/2014 they only come when theyre in that area because my account was on "will call" which is another problem. I was never asked wheather I wanted to be on "will call" or "auto fill up" when I set up the account. So I stated I was specifically told you would make my delivery on monday for sure an I even called to make sure you HAD DELIEVERED, an was told yes. He said there was nothing he could do. I asked could they deliver tuesday an was told probably not because they would not be in that area. So I asked when will they be in this area an able to deliver, he said he was unsure. I still have no oil, no heat! These customer service representatives obviously have no clue on what is going on with the company!Desired Settlement: Make my delivery immediately & place a credit on my account.
