I spoke to both partiesThank you, Bob H***

To whom it may concern,PermaSeal prides itself with consumer good will and satisfaction There is a slight crack in the sash of the window *** [redacted] is well aware of the process of the replacement of her cracked window sash There is a slight crack in her window and the order has been placed for a replacement sash The manufacturer had to determine the cause of the crack before replacing itThe replacement sash is on order and will be delivered and installed the day the manufacturer delivers it to PermaSeal We are not the manufacturer of the window and are at the mercy of the manufacturer We have apologized for any inconveinence and any delay of the shipping of the window sashThere is no emergency and if there was we would surely take care of it immediately Again we have been in complete contact with *** [redacted] and have done everything we can to this point When we get the replacement sash in our possession we will install it.Lastly, when *** [redacted] windows were ready we left a message six times in the span of two weeks without a response Now ** [redacted] is telling us now that we have his money we are not fixing his window, which is totally absurd We acknowledge that it is not the consumers fault and this service will be completely free of charge.Again, this definitely is not an emergency but we realize the discomfort of having a slight crack in your windowThis window sash will be replaced A.S.A.P Sincerley,Bob H***, mg

To whom it may concern.PermaSeal prides itself with always top quality work for a reasonable price and also to maintain goodwill with all customers We contacted [redacted] and informed him that the installation dept will contact him and set up a time for his service We have given the info to our top mechanic who will contact him personally in fact the same installer that did his perfect installation Typically with casement windows the customer sometimes does not crank in the window all the way and then tries to lock it This will cause the window to go out of square and then will have to be readjustedThank you for your communication. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.Sincerely,Bob H***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I really gotta hand it to you Bob The hits just keep on coming I’m awestruck Let’s recapFirst it was installation promises Permaseal had no intention or ability to keepThen it was scheduling the install without any communicationAnd all that I would have written off as an over-eager salesman over-promising but then there was a problem with the windowsHey, problems happen That’s why we have warranties, butThen it was lies about scheduling warranty serviceThen it was completely ignoring multiple follow up calls inquiring about said warranty service weeks later And a week after thatPermaseal had created a situation where no reasonable person would believe that the warranty was worth anythingThen the Revdex.com got involved and finally weeks later Permaseal responds Specifically, Permaseal lied to the Revdex.com, saying they contacted meThen with no phone calls or contact from management whatsoever, Permaseal sent a worker to my house completely unannounced, who had no knowledge of what Permaseal had been asked to do to make it right And when he tried he couldn’t raise any of the managers on the phone eitherNow Permaseal tells me the warranty their owner advertised as a full lifetime transferrable warranty is actually only year on laborAnd on top of that, Permaseal, having entirely created this horrible situation, where any reasonable business would just want to make the situation go away, and with a short list of things in hand that would do so, Permaseal proposes I pay them to: Certify their work in writing Something that could have done in a few minutes while their unannounced employee was here Provide a copy of their warranty Because according to Bob they’d have to type that up! I have trouble wrapping my head around this one You don’t have a copy of your own warranty typed up already? Provide spec sheets from the manufacturer“if possible.” Because in an age of stringent building codes and energy certification standards, Permaseal believes such things are uncommon [redacted] I tried to find them myself, but there’s no identifying label anywhere on the windows that is accessible, So I don’t know the manufacturer or model numbers Does the lack of a label seem as insane to you as it does to me? The energy specifications for the install are right there in the original contract, and I’ve never seen an energy efficiency standard without labeling requirements I’m sure the spec sheet would clear this right upI tried to find the model number/manufacturer on the original contract too There’s something there that looks like a model number, but I’m afraid the handwriting is a bit illegible thereHow long would it have taken for Permaseal make their actions right? Far less time than they’ve spent arguing this Revdex.com complaint That’s for sureAnd through all that, Permaseal has refused to acknowledge that any of these things they did ever happened, and instead they’re calling me the unreasonable oneI am truly in aweAs long as were talking about stuff you’d think would be on on the contract, could you help me with my recordkeeping? Would you confirm Permaseal’s HIC# is [redacted] ? I found that by searching online with their phone number on the contract, but it doesn’t appear anywhere on the contract or any of the other paperwork that I was given during the course of the install Regards, [redacted]

She refused to pay after installation because we capped window she wanted other windows cappedThe contract stated we were only capping one windowI recaulked the windowsDue to prior capping the new caulk was done as efficiently as possibleWe capped windows for her freeWe fixed her screenShe now owes us $and refuses to payWe take pride in satisfying all customers but sometimes no matter what you do you can't satisfy all customers all of the timeSincerely, Bob @ PermaSeal

Dear Sir/MadameWe always try to maintain goodwill with all customers and try to satisfy everyone We have been on this job and worked extremely hard to please [redacted] ***We always do quality workAs a matter of fact we did a lot of work over for [redacted] *** He told us to take our time he is not in any hurry at all The house looks great We asked him what he wanted changed and we did itHe makes changes every weekThe last we spoke to him everything was fine accept windows needed to be capped on the side We told him we would come out tomorrow to finish and he started to say now everything wrong with the job Were installing siding and have been for years He even said use any material he has in his shed if we need itHe said we can use his ladderAfter we did he complained that we used his stuffThere was extra material left over to fix his siding around his side windows but he either used it for his shed or threw it out Nevertheless, we said we will do anything he needed to try and satisfy him His house looks greatOur home improvement specialist Brian E [redacted] will verify thisAnother contractor will also verify this Our siding material was on a small part of his lawn and when he called us to clean it up because he was getting his lawn cut we came that dayHis wife said don't worry about it Brian took care of itAs of today he said a corner wasn't right and the side looks wavy The side is a 50' run and the Home improvement specialist told him it may look a little wavy but it looks fantastic! We did a beautiful job and there are a couple things to finish We had Tuesday scheduled but it rained like it has an abundance amount this monthWe also had truck problemsNevertheless, the job was scheduled for Approximately weeks and its only weeks That is rain days truck issues and redoing a lot of things he wasn't happy aboutWere not making excuses and apologize for any inconvenience We are insured in case of a catastrophe if a house burns down or something like that a major flood There are his perceived issues that is easily rectifiedalso, there is still a balance still owed on this job and we would like to get paid forwe have spent a lot of money on material and labor to date.Last but not least, we are willing to rectify any legitimate issue and concern [redacted] hasHave him contact us and we can set up an appointment to resolve all legitimate issues and concerns.Sincerely, PermaSeal [redacted] ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: They lied in their response to the Revdex.com.Permaseal told the Revdex.com they had contacted me. They had not contacted me when they filed the response. I had not heard from this since June, long before the Revdex.com complaint was ever filed.Later in the day, after they filed the response, an installer showed up knocking at my door house completely unannounced. He had no idea about the Revdex.com complaint. He had no idea about any of the paperwork that was requested. I asked him to call the owner so we could discuss it but he was unable to do so.I was presented with options, either he could fix the window or leave. He fixed the window, which took about an hour. Before he left, I informed him I needed the owner to contact me asap to discuss the rest of the complaint. He said he would let them know. I have not received any contact from Permaseal since
