In June 2019 a contract to install carpet and vinyl flooring in our condo which was void of all furniture. It was 1300 square feet. This was being done after we had the whole condo painted. After 2 days the job was not complete, when the owners son came to see the work, he assured my wife and I it would be fixed. They also damaged the walls that were just painted and a few of the closet doors. He said they would pay to have the paint fixed and doors. They had to order more carpet to redo the large living/dinning room. They took pieces of that room to try to redo the seams through the remaining part of the house re stretched the carpet. They put the additional carpet ordered in that living/dinning room only. They told us after this process, if we were still not happy they redo everything. We want to move our furniture into the condo, It is now 5 weeks dealing with this whole matter. All of the seams have not been corrected and some of the vinyl is damaged. We requested they also pay for one month storage. We offered in lieu of redoing everything because of recent health issues what kind of discount would they offer. We were told "sorry but we willo not offer anymore discounts we have been more than fair with you on these issues at hand" "We will set up a independent inspection and forward to the lawyers to proceed with the legal process." "If you like to avoid that please mail payment in."
I am sorry for your recent issues with our company but we have responded to all of your concerns in a timely manor.
We have replaced the carpet of concern in a professional manor and within industry standards . After we replace the carpet
it was inspected by Stuart P and all was installed properly. That is when an independent inspector was brought up
for you to get a 2nd opinion if you would like. The job has drawn out due to reordering the carpet and your medical issues
which we have worked around for you convienence. At his time we are still waiting on your call to set up a time to fix your
door hinge which has a loose screw and a nail that has backed up on the trim molding. The day after your last phone call
I called *** back to set up a repair and he informed me had more medical issues and did not want anything done
until he was sure he did not need surgery. We left the conversation with he would call me once he got better so we can go by
and take care of any issues. As to the discount we did give the customer $500.00 off of price and we cut all interior doors for
him for free which is not part of out contract. We also went back at no charge to retuck the carpet that was pulled up by the cable
company to run a new line. We will be glad to address any issues all we need is a date and time.
