We ordered 1 cord of pine wood. when delivered it was less than half a cord. so I called and told them I was short. they said they would bring me 1/4 cord more which still doesn't equal up to 1 cord of wood. we asked the driver what they consider a cord of wood. His response was 8 ft long 4 ft high and 2 rows. the logs average 17 in long. if you do the math 8 ft long x 4 ft high x 34" it only comes out to 0.70 cords. 90.66 cubic feet. A full cord of wood is suppose to be 4 feet wide x 8 ft long x 4 ft high 128 cubic feet. So this company is robbing people out of product they payed full price for.
The wood I got delivered to me the first time measured 1 row 8 ft long x 4 ft high x 17 in wide and 1 row 8 ft long x 1 ft high x 17 in. which equaled out to 0.43 cords. would never use this company again. feel sorry for the people that have no clue on what a cord of wood should be, they are getting robbed and Pete's Landscaping has no problem robbing people.

For over 20 years I have been dealing with various firewood sellers who deliver & drop the firewood load in my back yard which requires them to back over a standard residential curb with there trucks. I live on a corner lot and there was no stipulation in my purchase that they would not drive over a standard residential curb, I am handicapped with severe mobility issues. I purchased and paid up front for 2 cords of cedar pinion mix delivered for the amount of $728.16 via my credit card, which was charged 0n 7-11-19. When the driver arrived today he refused to back over the curb and deliver the wood on to my back yard property, instead offering an up charge to stack the wood where I wanted it. I spoke to the owner by phone and she indicated it was a new truck and she didn't want to break a leaf spring and instead tried to jack up the price by dropping the wood in the street and charging me an additional fee to stack the wood where I wanted it. I tried to reason with her that all other companies dump the wood where I need it with no problem and that I regularly access my back yard with my own truck. She wanted an up charge and therefor I refused delivery and now the owner (Sandra) refuses to credit my account unless I travel to her facility.

I hired Pete's Landscaping to landscape my front yard. The salesman was very cordial until after the sale. I had problems with 5 plants that were dying and had to make several calls to the company before anyone came out to look at the plants. The people on the phone were rude and defensive and did not follow through on contacting me, I had to call them repeatedly until my patience was exhausted. The salesman never contacted me after the sale and I was never contacted to the owner but was told the owner told them, in no uncertain terms, that the customer is always right and to replace my plants. Unfortunately, two of the replacement plants also died. I called on a Saturday and was told someone would contact me on Monday. When no one had contacted me by Wednesday I called again only to be given a different story. I was told the owner was not there but no one offered to take a message so I had to talk to the woman on the phone. I tried to be patient but again, the person on the phone became argumentative and refused to listen. She tried to intimidate me and when I asked how long it would take for action she became irate and said she would just refund my money. This was not a satisfactory answer but it was clear I was getting nowhere so I hung up.

We ordered 6 yards of playground mulch to be delivered between 10 am and 2 pm on a Friday. Our phone rang at 5 am that Friday and the driver said he was outside and wanted to know where to dump it. When I went outside and told him he was 5 hours early and my neighbors were sleeping, he said they screwed up a big order and needed the truck so this was happening now. When I told him I was going to call and complain, he showed me his drivers license and said he was the owner. I told him just because you screwed up another order, you don't have the right to just screw up ours. He jumped in his truck, dumped the mulch, then sped down my street before the truck had even completely lowered with the gate banging like a gunshot. Unbelievably rude, terrible customer service. Lots of other examples on their google reviews. Don't use this company.
