I am rejecting this response because I haven't been getting any answer from them at all. It has been 4 months and I won't be satisfied until I get a set date.

Thank you for the notice.  We make every effort to service our customers in a timely manner.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  We have also made effort to contact the customer and scheduled a date and time to resolve the service issue.

[redacted] and [redacted] Petkus have agreed that we will correct paint issues and will replace sideplates with new as required to satisfy the discoloration. We will complete work with in two weeks.

This was a misunderstanding on a billing issue. Customer and Petkus have worked it out and settled this issue.

Company states: We have been out and serviced the customer. He had two issues about a leak and a finish on the wall. There is one minor finish that we need to address.

We were led to believe they had their own contractors and we were told specifically by [redacted] they had their own employees to do the work. That was a major defining decision to go with Petkus Bros. It's not the matter if they do or don't use independent contractors; it's the issue of being truthful and saying they do.

It's been almost a year since we had our sunroom installed by Petkus Brothers. I was reluctant to post a review right away, because problems could come up after the installation, and their resolution of issues might change my review. while the completion of the sunroom took much longer than expected, the final result was beautiful. Recently, one of the fans and the lights were faulty. I contacted Kevin, and it was fixed within a week. Kevin initially suggested that we would love our sunroom so much that we would spend all our time there. We were skeptical. He was right. Coffee and tea and the newspaper in the sunroom is our routine every morning. We love it.

Review: I had a patio cover installed about 10 years ago and was happy with it until the bottom of the support posts started rotting out. I called and after about 2 months of getting jerked around I was told they would charge me $500 for the repairs. At the time of purchase and to this day, they advertise lifetime warranty on their patio covers. I feel they should honor their advertised warranty.Desired Settlement: Fix the rotted posts.

My wife and I contracted with Petkus Brothers for the installation of 2 patio rooms and a general house remodel. This is our 2nd contract with Petkus Brothers. We are very pleased with this contractor and all the personnel that accomplished the work. The work was performed on time, as requested and within the projected cost. Impeccable service and assistance to us with design considerations. Personnel are trustworthy and very skilled. From Mr. Petkus to the most junior employee, their concern was that we were happy. Workmanship is of the highest quality, we have absolutely no complaints - only praise. We will only consider Petkus Brothers for additional work. Thank you Petkus Brothers!

Review: Regretfully, we have had contract and service issues with Petkus Brothers. What they say and what they do are two completely different things. They did not live up to the terms of their contract with time issues and other issues. One example: they installed incorrect hinges. They misrepresent how they state they use their own contractors.In reality, they do not. They use independent sub-contractors. The cabinet people they use are awful. The quality is sub-par. We were left hanging and job was not completely finished. We've asked on many occasions for cabinet paint and they refuse to supply us with the information. I would not recommend them for any kitchen remodel.They damaged our refrigerator in two different areas. It was brought to their attention; but they ignored it. There are many other examples of their unprofessional service and lack of quality job performance.Desired Settlement: Would like to have the correct soft close hinges re-installed and cabinet paint issue resolved as well as have the trim finished.

Review: I contacted Petkus Brothers in July concerning leaks in our patio cover (both brothers acknowledged all of the leaks) and also about installing a patio fan and blind. The contract was signed on July 6 with a written note that work would be scheduled before July 25. After many, many phone calls, emails, texts and finally mentioning the Revdex.com on August 22 the fan and blind were installed and one leak fixed. Mentioning to the workers about the other leaks in the patio cover they said they were unable to fix them as they were not specifically mentioned in the contract. Back to many, many phone calls and texts. The patio cover leaks in several areas and needs to be fixed. I am tired of being ignored and put off and I believe they will not complete the work unless they are contacted by you. I do not understand how this business has a A+ rating.Desired Settlement: Petkus Brothers advertises a lifetime guarantee on their patio covers. The leaks need to be repaired or the cover replaced immediately.

I am rejecting this response because:In regards to the final sentence of the response the only time they scheduled a date and time was late August when the fan, blind and some repair work was done. This was well after the verbal July 25 date of service was to take place. I do not accept that they made every effort to contact us, we only got the August date after mentioning we were calling the Revdex.com. The Petkus Brothers continually ignored phone calls, emails and texts. In regards to after we filed the complaint Petkus Brothers did respond within the week and a crew came out last Friday and partially repaired the covering. They did not have the flashing they needed to finish the repair. I texted Kevin but have not had any response. This is still an open complaint until the cover is completely repaired.Thank you,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as they follow through on what they have said. They stated they do not know in what manner they will fix the leaks but will get back to us in January as to how and when the job will actually be done. We will see what happens.

We did what would probably be considered a mid-size kitchen renovation, meaning we kept the original cupboards and layout, just changed an island, but also added a dining room. As with some of the other reviewers, we had some communication issues, but with the project manager (who is no longer with the company), never with [redacted]. As with all construction projects, there were some issues, but they were all resolved to our complete satisfaction.
Ultimately, we are extremely happy with the outcome, and will be using Petkus again for the next project, which will be adding bedrooms. I took away a star because of the communication issue, but his new project manager, [redacted], has been outstanding in the short time he has been with them.
Also, a shout out to [redacted], and all of the other hands-on workers, whose workmanship is AMAZING!

Review: 11-17-14

I wish to file a complaint against Contractor's License # 670242. Petkus Brothers and I entered into a contract to build a sunroom. The contract date was 3-31-14.Desired Settlement: To date the project is incomplete. The roof leaks and a 3'x2' wall area needs to be finished. I have repeatedly contacted Kevin Petkus to finish the project. Any help will be appreciated.

Review: Patio Cover gutter leaks and they are being unresponsive to repair requests.

Back in 2012 we had a patio cover installed in our back yard. Ever since installation, the gutter leaks whenever it rains. While they have been out to fix it three times it has taken many calls to get someone to come out to look at it.

The first two times they came back to fix the leak they smeared caulking all over the top of the gutter, creating an eye sore from our upper windows. This did not fix the leak however.

The third time, one of their guys, [redacted], came out to look at it and this time used our hose to flood the cover until he saw the leak and said he knew what it was and how to fix it but he didn't have time that day so he would be back.

Weeks went by and I had to call them again, always talking to Cyndi who is very helpful and sympathetic. Finally, [redacted] came back out, spent about 10 minutes on a ladder, and then left.

Now the gutter leaks worse than before.

I have called them again and as always am told they will look into it and as usual, I am receiving no response. It's been a month since my last call.

All I want is for the gutter to be fixed. It is obvious where the leak is coming from, it comes from where they joined two pieces together and the joint is clearly visible.

I have been far too patient with Petkus Brothers and regret that I have had to take this step.Desired Settlement: I want them to come back out, promptly, and fix this once and for all. I want the gobs of smeared caulking cleaned off of the top of the gutter area and for the gutter to be properly installed and sealed this time.

We have completed the leak repair and caulking clean up on his patio cover and everything has been resolved to Mr. [redacted]'s satisfaction. In fact, he said he was very happy with Petkus Brothers and his patio cover! We have spent some extra time with our installation staff making sure they are fully trained and highly doubt this issue will happen again.

Review: In October 0f 2013 Petkus Brothers installed a enclosed patio room at my residence, in addition to some other work they did. It turned out beautifully. However, in January of 2105 we encountered a severe rain storm and there were major leaks from the roof on each side of the room, where it attached to the house. The room then flooded, and I began sweeping the water out the door so as not to ruin the laminate floor. I contacted Petkus, a lady told me that there was a 3 week waiting period on service calls and told me to call either [redacted] or [redacted] Petkus direct on their cell phones if I wanted to speak to them. I left at least a dozen messages for [redacted] and he never returned a call. I called the office and asked to speak to [redacted] or [redacted] and was to they were not available, and again I was told to contact them on their cell phone. Again, no response. I even went on their web site where you can chat directly with someone. A lady told me I would get a call that day, which never happened. I called again the next day and was finally given someone to speak with. His name was Brian. He was new and told me he was hired to help then get caught up on service calls. He apologized and set up an appointment for the following. The day before, he called me back and said he had to change it again. The 3rd appointment was for Monday, June 15,2015. Then I received a call from [redacted] Petkus on June 12th who told me there was no way they could make it. He said it would definitely we done this week .... June 16, 17 0r 18. He said he would call me on June 15th and give me the appointment time. Again, he did not call. I left a message for him and he did not return my call. It has now been over 5 months. I have told them that as long as I have been waiting, I should be top priority. I did not want to file a complaint on them, but I have exhausted all other options. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Desired Settlement: All I want is the problem corrected. I have been most patient. I love the room. They did a beautiful job on it. I cannot understand how a business can operate in this manner. I checked their Revdex.com record, and find that all of their complaints are very similar to mine... lack of response and not returning calls.
