Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:My complaint has not been resolved because MX Movers has made no effort to resolve it - I am still out $more than the original binding estimate and now I am also missing $2,worth of items / [redacted] Style Definitions */ As pointed out in the first statement, the items in the moving truck took up more room in the truck because the movers claimed that the boxes “could not be stacked,” and we were then charged an additional $3, over our “binding estimate.” When these items arrived, the boxes were stacked and took up significantly less spaceNothing was re-crated, as there were no fragile glass items and though we asked several times that the mattress be wrapped, it was not wrapped until after it was dropped into dirty snow (it is still brown on the bottom quarter) and after it was brought to the storage locationI know this because I was sent a photo of the items in the storage area also featured in the photo are the missing carpets We pleaded that a manager call us after the items were put in the truck, to simply DISCUSS the cost of the move tripling in priceWe did not receive a call and after attempting to follover the course of several days, were told that the lowest they could go for the move was $3850, but were not given any explanationAnd as I stated many times before, the check was only cancelled because NO ONE WOULD TALK TO US and I wasn’t convinced we were actually dealing with a real moving company anymore it seemed quite possible that they had no intention of following up on anything We were also told during the initial estimate that we would receive GPS tracking for our shipmentWe were told after the move that we would get it the following MondayThen we were told that we can’t have GPS because we didn’t ask for it prior to the move, even though the website said it was included I wouldn’t know if the company was thorough with the initial inventory because I was never given a copy of the inventory list and never actually saw it myselfIt would have been nice to actually see this list and sign off on the itemsThis was obviously not done seeing as we did not receive the carpets, the movers had nothing marked as belonging to either us or the other clients and I was not physically there the day of the move because I could not take off of work longer than two weeks after continually being told the items were on route and sleeping on the floor waiting for our things to arriveAs previously stated, I was in Dallas for work by the time the things finally did arrive, so I as to “why would she or he agree that all items were delivered and sign on the document,” I did not agree that all the items were delivered and did not sign the document that I have in fact NEVER SEEN in person To summarize, the $discount was not for “incidentals,” we were told that was just the best they could do price wise, after charging us an additional $2,for adding boxes and one picture to our moveI would love for the claims department to follwith me, but as of yet, I have not heard from any one Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I packed my personal belongings in boxes before the moveI labeled these boxes I made with my name and address.The MX crew added boxes to my count as they packed the couch cushions,small furniture, mirrors etc.- I did not count these nor did they have my address labelOn the day of the move, MX put red stickers on each item that went into the truck to keep a total count.The boxes I had already prepared, those with my personal belongings, were loaded firstMitch, the owner, and I noticed that the number he had accounted for did not match my countI went to the truck myself and noticed some did not have red tagsMitch agreed there was a labeling issue on his end and said he would double check laterHe told me not to worry he would make sure he would fix it.On the day of the delivery, there were many more boxes than the ones I had made, since the movers had added onto my personal belongings by packing the couch cushions, small pieces of furniture, the tv and whatnot into similar boxesI kept a tally of what was delivered but could only check that there were at least as many boxes as I had packedI did not open the boxes as they were delivered.I realized the box was missing within a week, but did not want to accuse anyoneGiving MX the benefit of the doubt, I thought maybe I put some of my stuff in smaller boxes among other thingsIt took me about a month to fully unpack and make sure that half of my closet was indeed missing.I called Mitch, who had been in contact to check if I would leave a good reviewHe apologized for my loss, said these things happen, and he would call everyone on the route including the transfer facility to check where the box may beHe told me to give him some time to researchAfter a week or so he just started ignoring meHis office would hang up the moment I introduced myself on the phoneHe still avoids my calls.I am very disappointed that he is now accusing me of lyingThere is no reason I shouldI have texts messages of him admitting that in fact it is lost and that he will try to find itI checked his reviews online and there are a few other disappointed customers who complain of lost items- apparently Mitch also ignores them when confrontedHis accusing me after already admitting the loss makes me think he is aware of foul play and chose to ignore me In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Mx Movers regarding complaint ID [redacted] The company is "off the map", meaning their phones is disconnected and they are no longer in business.I managed to get in touch with one of the employees through his personal cell phoneSo far I've recovered some of the missing items (a coach was delivered to me, and I drove to San Diego to pick up two boxes that were delivered to another costumer.) However, I am still missing my bicycle and a TV.Sincerely, [redacted]

this client is missing a $ fan and a child's old bike which the company had compensated him for with a check for $

The client once again was not present on the pick up of the pianoA grainy video was recoreded to show that the piano was indeed packed and handled by the moversAny damages incurred by the transportation usually goes through a claims department formWe simply do not refund a full payment for the
expensive cost of transporting a 500lb pianoWe are very sorry that the piano had scratches but it is at this point impossible to state whether movers did this or the transportation or if it was purchased like this since the client them selves were not present at the pick up location (this was purchased from an online retailer/reseller)We can work with the client however they must reach out to the office

Helen gave a deposit for a move then decided to cancel and we are going to refund but we only send refunds on the *** of every monthshe will be refunded immediately

with all of this being stated the company had refunded the consumer $because the items were not recoveredto my best knowledge the consumer had accepted the $plus a discount on the date of delivery even though there were additional services required to complete this moveIf the consumer feel's he was compensated accordingly he should contact the office directly and ask for a manager to discuss further treatmentWe are really sorry that these items did not arrive and want to work with the client to reconcile the issues

On the date of the pick up the crew made note that all boxes were completely marked by the consumerShe made a clear effort to count every box when it exited the homeShe knew what she was doing because she moved long distance beforeI do not know how a box of such size could have gone missing
That being said, this was brought to our attention weeks (over a month) after deliveryThis made it clear that they did not double check when they were accepting delivery (they being the thorough clients that they were)That fact alone was strange as they were quite insistent on being thorough at the pick up because they had a horrible move out their first time coming from California to New YorkShe took it upon her self to label and itemize the boxes and keep a tally on a note padThe driver also made an inventory of all the itemsthe Documents returned to us with no missing items indicatedI am willing to work with the client however we feel that all items were indeed shipped and delivered and that the client is making it seem like it was not

Due to the fact that I did not make any cancellations in regards to the moving of my household goods from NY to SC I am entitled to a refund as it pertains to the contract rendered via MX Movers and the verbal guarantee by Jim which whom I spoke to on several occasionsI received a phone call on the evening of July 13th which was less than hours prior to the scheduled pick up time arrangements made by your companyThere is no way I would cancel the day prior or even less than one week prior to pick up of shipments knowing I would not receive a refund if cancellation was indeed on my partYour company called me on Wednesday July *** of when services should have been rendered on July *** and *** of and said that your moving truck was broken and you would not be able to accommodate my moveIt has been almost a month since my card has been charged and still yet no explanation as to why my refund has not been processedI just spoke to Jim at the company earlier last week and he assured me that my refund would be processed through the processing department as he was unaware of how long the process tookI would have never cancelled my shipment of household especially after you received my moneyYOur company cancelled and told me it was due to a moving truck being broken.
