Review: I paid for a treatment costing $300 back in August for skin treatment. I paid right after the consultation and they took the funds immediatley. At the appointment the nurse said she did not recommend the treatment for my skin type. I asked for a refund. I filled out some paperwork and it was sent to corporate. I waited 6 weeks and heard and received nothing. I started calling. I was told [redacted] handles their refunds but I have yet to call when she works. I have been calling 1-2 times per week for 5 months now. I can never speak with anyone who can help or answer my question, there is never a manager available and I never receive a return call. I have yet to get my refund and am still waiting to hear from this company.Desired Settlement: $300 is owed to me servies not used and advised against. I would also appreciate interest based on the length of time that they have owed me the money and taken no action.

We apologize the delay in response to our patient's complaint. An account review was necessary in order to determine the corrective action. After researching, the following has been determined:The patient was invoiced for $750.00. This amount reflects a 50% discount 2 treatments (tx) of Microderm Abrasion = $150.00 ($75.00 per tx)2 treatments (tx) of IPL (laser pigment facial procedure) = $600.00 ($300.00 per tx).She paid half the invoice amount: $375.00. She was entitled to 1 tx of Micro ($75.00) and 1 tx of IPL ($300.00).Because she received one tx of Micro (value of $75.00) = her total refund amount is $300.00. However, we have issued a previous refund check in the amount of $75.00. The remaining $225.00 will be processed immediately and sent by check to our patient.

Review: I was going to get surgery but had to leave as a missionary to Guatemala and had to cancel. I cancelled within 8 days and they said it wouldn't be a problem. While in Mexico I had the surgery done. After a year of my absent, they never mailed me my refund. So I went there to get it back & until now I've left over 10 messages to [redacted] (manager that works from home) & never returns calls. Also they won't give me the owners name to talk to regarding this issue.Desired Settlement: My $ back...

Initially, the patient did request a refund after returning to the Sacramento area. Since speaking with our office and staff, she has decided to move forward with her procedures. She is scheduled to receive treatment on 10/10/13. This has resulted in a $0 balance being refunded or owed. The matter is considered resolved.

Review: Submitted my refund request over a month ago, called twice a week, no one returns my calls or will assist me in any way in getting my refund

I placed a $100 deposit for services two years ago. I have not received services and per facilities request emailed refund request over a month ago on 9/13/13. I was notified by email that the form was received. I was not contacted at all after sending in the form, so I called around Oct 1, 2013 to follow up. Each time I call there is a receptionist and the person who processes refunds ([redacted]) is either not in or available. I called yesterday 10/15/13 and asked to speak to a supervisor. I asked for a supervisor around 9 AM, was told one would call me back. No call back, called them again around 6 pm, was told same thing, so supervisor and left another message. At this point I feel I am being ignored and they can care less about me because I am asking for money back, not giving them money.Desired Settlement: I am asking for the refund of only what I paid to them, $100. I was willing to have a service from them if a refund was not possible but at this point with the horrible service and uncaring I want nothing to do with them.

After I submitted my complaint they contacted me and had me pick up the refund I requested. I am satisfied.

Review: On 02/14/2014 I attended a free consultation to review Physicians Skin and Weight Centers services and compatibility to my health concerns. The Physicians Skin and Weight Centers representative [redacted] focused on financing and treatments and did not review my current health status. The representative established a line of credit for me with an outside agency. [redacted] had me sign the contract electronically but did not allow me to view the contract nor did she provide a copy. [redacted] made an appointment for me to begin Vela shape services. Prior to my appointment, I called and cancelled. I verbally notified the representative that I will not be returning to obtain services due to my growing health concerns. On 03/14/14, Physicians Skin Weight Loss Center financing department withdrew $286.00 from my checking account. I immediately called [redacted] and notified her that no services have been rendered and that I was not returning due to my poor health status. [redacted] emailed me a Refund Request Form and advised me to complete and fax back to her. I completed the Refund Request Form and faxed to [redacted]. I called [redacted] and verbally confirmed that she received the Refund Request Form. [redacted] stated the refund process takes 5-10 business days. After follow up phone calls and emails I have not yet received a status on my refund.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund and no further payments to be withdrawn from my checking account. I an requesting Physicians Skin and Weight Centers medical license to be reviewed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I submitted a complaint with the office on how rude and unprofessional the Dr. [redacted] was. I applied for credit for my procedure and I was told that when the doctor see me she will determine if I was a good candidate for the surgery and any funds not use will be refunded. After the really terrible experience I had the day of the procedure and by Dr. [redacted]'s instructions I was to go back to the Roseville office and request a refund which I did. I also fill out a complaint and they said I had to wait for management to review the complaint and they will call me. I waited and no call so I when back and requested that they refund the equivalent of 2 sections of the 5 sections I had paid. They asked me to see another doctor that maybe another doctor could help me but after 2 reschedule appointments with the new doctor he said he could improved 2 of the areas I had done with Dr. [redacted] but for the other I had to get a refund. I have not stop calling them since then, I been into the office many occasions and the person in charge of the refund is just not responding her Name is [redacted] I had to continue paying on credit accounts to make sure my credit will not be affected and also because I had no interest for 12 months is been over 1Year and still no refund and now one of the accounts accrued interest. I when back to the Roseville office and all the personal that was working when I had my surgery is no longer there. I left another message with the new front attendance by the name of [redacted] and still no calls from Jeniffer in regards to the refund. They made me wait for a very long time before because they said I had to wait for the other doctor to get approve by management to help me in the other two areas he said he could improve but never got a call for that also. I felt Dr. [redacted] was cruel, races and also felt harass honestly the worse experience of all she knew I was in paint but will not do anything about it. Please help me and never go there.Desired Settlement: Please help me get a full refund of all the procedure that I paid. I don't feel comfortable having them do any re-touch.Please help me by making them fix all negative credit due to the debt into an account I should have paid on time before any interest was applied to the accounts and made them responsible for all that interest to be paid. All I want is to be able to get my money refunded and my credit clean of any negative remarks.Looking forward to hear from you.[redacted]

Review: On July 18, 2013 I had a consultation with Physicians Skin and Weight, Roseville office, for Smart lipo. On this appointment all questions were answered, credit approved and procedure scheduled for July 23, 2013. At this appointment, I met the doctor who was to do the procedure and I made it very clear to her the area I wanted treated; which included the upper abdomen area right above the belly button. She expressed to me she could not do only one area and that she would have to do the lower and upper area. I refused to have the lower area done because I did not feel I needed anything done there. At this point, I dismissed myself and told her that I would cancel the procedure. Doctor [redacted] said, "Okay, I will do the lower abdomen with no charge". I continued to insist she not touch my lower abdomen and she decided on her own what areas she would do. She also mentioned that because I have credit on the books, she would recommend I have facial Microderma Abrasion. At this time I agree and scheduled an appointment to get this done.

I went to my follow up appointment on the following Friday and I was very disappointed at the results.

I expected results almost immediate, as this is what was promised and from my own research results are noticeable a few days after the procedure is done and swelling has resolved. On the first follow up appointment I expressed how unhappy I was with the results and also questioned why the MD who performed my procedure was not here for my follow up appt. They said this was the way they do business and that a staff nurse would be seeing me today. The nurse took notes of how unhappy I was with the results, she took some after pictures and insisted it was too soon to notice good result. She reassured me that the doctor would take care of it and gave me a follow up appointment in six weeks to see the doctor.

On the second follow up appointment Dr. [redacted] did say to give it more time for good result and that it was still too soon to tell complete results. She suggested I wait at least another six month. At this point I feel that I have expressed how unsatisfied I am with the results and don't feel that waiting six more months will change anything but increase my anxiety knowing that I may I have to put myself through this very painful procedure again and have to take time off work.

In addition to all this, I was neither happy with the microdermabrasion and I had to return the products sold to me for my face because they were very irritating to my skin. I was told I was going to get a credit on the credit card that was charged a total of 4,060.000 plus an additional 350.00 I paid on the day of the first consultation. As of now, I have not seen the credit of 500.00 for not completing the treatment for the microdermaabrasion and every time I call or go in to the office to ask about this credit the manger is never available.

I feel I have expressed how I feel about the results and am asking for the return of my monies to my credit card. I paid for a service and expected to get what I paid for. Unfortunately services I expected was not delivered.

Desired Settlement: I paid for a service that was not delivered therefore I am asking the total amount charged to my mother's credit card be credited. The total of $4,410.00.

Due to the pending status of this patient's treatments, there was an unavoidable delay in moving forward. Protocols for all patients are that we provide a series of follow appointments, at no additional charge. The final appointment is the 6 month follow appointment. At that time, it is determined by the physician and discussed with the patient on how to proceed. [redacted]'s 6 month time frame is towards the end of January. She will be contacted by our clinic to get this appointment on our schedule. Additionally, our corporate office has issued a refund in the amount of $725.00; this covers the skin treatment services as described in her complaint. The amount has been credited to her financed account as she requested/confirmed with me by phone.

Review: I paid two large payments that were deposits towards my service; I was told that my deposits would be fully refunded if I changed my mind. When I decided to ask for a refund, I called the center numerous times without getting a call back. Finally, the customer service manager called and provided a refund form for me to fill out. She said she would expedite my refund since I had gone two months with no contact from the company. That was a month ago and she will not answer my calls or emails despite repeated attempts to contact her. I just want my money back.Desired Settlement: My deposits total $4,000 which I was told by [redacted] would be refunded in the form of a check. She has not returned my calls or emails, despite having said she would expedite my refund. I have a copy of her email saying they'll get my deposit back to me, but nothing.
