I ordered rock to be delivered at my home When I placed the order, I informed the sales rep that I had a new driveway and didn't want the truck to back onto it She said that the drivers are very easy to communicate with and that I could discuss where to drop the rock when it arrived I heard the beeping of the truck this morning so I run out to stop the driver from backing onto my new driveway When I ask him not to back onto the driveway, he snaps at me saying "I wasn't going to drive on your driveway." I then try to inform him that he could back the truck across the neighboring driveway and dump the rock directly into the front yard He said that he wouldn't do drive onto the neighbors driveway without the neighbors consent I then try to tell him that he can drop the rock directly in my front yard without driving on any driveway He snaps at me again so I tell him to take the rock backNow Pioneer has a charge on my credit card for the rock and the delivery They say tha

lieu of picking up the material, which he accepted.  We processed a refund to his credit card in the amount of $199.16 - see breakdown below:

               $  36.95 X 5 Tons =  $184.75

Review: I ordered 17 tons of Santa Fe Gold 1" screened rock from this business. It was delivered as scheduled. However, underneath the rock I discovered a pile of soil measuring conservatively 8'L x 4'W x 3' tall; 96 cubic feet. This equates to between two and 3.5 tons of debris material, depending on the conversion ratio. I contacted Pioneer immediately and emailed pictures depicting the material, expressing my dissatisfaction of having a quantity of debris material that I can neither use nor easily dispose of. My complaint was forwarded to the district manager. After two days with no response I again called the source location and explained the situation. The representative contacted the district manager and relayed to me that up to 50% debris was considered acceptable and they would do nothing for me other than have the manager look at the pile the following week. I was also informed that the 50% figure may be found on the company brochure. I never was offered nor received any brochure, nor is such a disclaimer posted on the company website or my receipt. I requested the debris material be removed and was flatly refused. I am extremely dissatisfied with the company's response to my complaint. Further, I cannot wait for an indeterminate amount of time for this to be resolved as my community requires disposal as soon as possible, not to mention the debris pile is blocking my driveway and garage. I am not requesting additional rock delivery as the quantity delivered was adequate. I am not even asking for compensation. The only request I have made was for the debris to be removed.Desired Settlement: Having been flatly refused my only requested option, I do not request any alternative settlement.

For starters I am very happy with the service I got from Pioneer In [redacted], AZ.. I went to Pioneer thinking I had to know exactly how much rock and pavers I needed for my backyard. I had no clue what or how much rock I was looking for let alone pavers as well. I walked in the office and immediately I was greeted by a woman and asked if I needed help. So I told her what I was looking to do with my backyard, She took the time to explain everything to me so that I could understand how much rock and pavers I needed. Simple, Friendly, Convenient. My experience at Pioneer in [redacted] really exceeded my expectations as a customer, I would not hesitate to refer my neighbors and friends to Pioneer.
Thanks,

Review: On 5/21/14 I rented a car hauler for local use yet was not able to make use of the rented equipment. Why? The staff member at Pioneer who hand secured the trailer to my vehicle did not make the appropriate connections need to secure the trailer. Why does this matter? Once I pulled out of the facility and began traveling down the road the trailer disengaged from my vehicle thus crashing into the back of my vehicle. After the accident occurred I immediately returned to Pioneer explained the situation showed the employee on duty the damage to my vehicle and returned the rented trailer without having made use of the rental. Upon check in of the equipment, after having experienced such an ordeal, I was told that I would still be responsible to cover the rental fees? Yes pay for a trailer that just crashed into the back of my car and did not even get used as intended. WOW! I filled the claim with [redacted] who was much easier to deal with then the staffing at Pioneer. The repairs to my [redacted] were fully covered by [redacted] to the sum of $4,000 dollars. However the employees of Pioneer who rented the equipment took no responsibility for their actions and still insisted that I pay for the use of the rental? $71.01 charged to my credit card for a rental unit which was improperly installed, caused an accident and was not even used for it's intended purpose?Desired Settlement: By the grace of God no one was hurt! However [redacted]/Pioneer employees should take pride in their work and show the consumer a little compassion, you caused a crash and expect to get paid how is that right???

Review: I purchased 8 tons of 1 1/2" - 3" River Rock at Pioneer. The rock that is on display is a high percentage of rounded rock with lots of variety of color and is within the size specified. What I received is a high percentage of broken rock that is primarily grey in color and has a large amount of rock larger than 3" (up to 6"). In addition, there was a large amount of dirt included in the load. When I checked the load, I mainly noticed the lack of color but assumed that it was dusty - I obviously should have rejected the load. Once the rock was spread out in my yard, it has very little resemblance to river rock, instead it looks like giant crushed gravel. My landscaper said it looked like the remains of several different rock bins were scraped up - with a lot of dirt - and were mixed together to form my load. I know that there is going to be variation in size, color, etc. but in this case, the end result is very unattractive and looks like no other river rock in any yard I have seen.Desired Settlement: Remove rock and replace with rock similar to what is displayed
