Again, The gap is through a third party. If she was able to get the $from the gap she would of been able to use it for a down payment to get another vehicle. She needs to contact the gap holder and dispute her claim with them. We do not dictate the rules of their program Thank YouJillian K***

RE-***On June Ms*** came to Pittsburgh Auto Depot concerned about her vehicleTom J*** spoke with her and resolved the situationWe refunded her $We do apologize for any inconvenience that she may have experiencedShe is now working with her warranty company to fix any
issues that she is having with the vehicle.Thank youManagementJillian K***

RE=***We are sorry that *** is having issues with her vehicleShe did have a month service contract through ***Her contract number is ***Actually a majority of our vehicles hold a month service contract so I'm not too sure where she got her information fromBeing that
her vehicle was sold "AS IS" from Pittsburgh Auto Depot, there is nothing that we are able to do for her.Thank YouManagement

We are very sorry Mr*** feels as though we were not able to finance him. After speaking with Robert the salesman, he explained to me that Mr*** had two approvals through two different banks. We offered him two options and unfortunately he was not able to afford the down
payment. We are still willing to help him get into a vehicle if he was able to save enough money. Robert was also scheduled to pick Mr*** up from his house on the Monday before he showed the Saturday before with no appointment. Like I said we are sorry that Mr*** is frustrated but we are still willing to help.Thank you Managment

Ms*** gap contract was not through Pittsburgh Auto Depot. Her gap contract was purchased through a third party. *** was her gap holder. I would advise her to call them. We are not responsible for her gap. Thank You Jillian

Re-[redacted]This is not a normal practice of Pittsburgh Auto Depot.  I will look into the matter and apologize for any grief that [redacted] may have encountered.  I will reinforce rules with the staff here at Pittsburgh Auto Depot. Thank you ManagementJillian [redacted]

We spoke with the customer regarding her statement.  There was a misunderstanding when the purchase took place.  Now that she understands the process, I believe that this complaint should be resolved.  Thank YouJillian K[redacted]

Re-[redacted]we are sorry that Mr. [redacted] is frustrated with his vehicle.  I did a little research and found that the [redacted] that he purchased from us has a clean car fax and there was no indication at the time of purchase that it was in any type of accident.  When Mr. [redacted] called...

the dealership he was informed that we do deal with two different warranty companies, but he does indeed have a 3 month warranty through [redacted] warranty).  If he is experiencing problems with his vehicle he should  contact his warranty company. Thank You[redacted]Managment

My Complaint in writing:On April 6, 2017 I filed claim with GAP coverage. I was told by GAP that my claim was denied because the insurance company took deductions off total value of car and that was an exclusion of the GAP coverage. I called PGH Auto Depot to advise them of this information. Joe (my salesman) advised me they will look into it. I spoke to Joe a few days later and he told me that Tom told him the GAP didnt have a claim on file. I gave them my claim number and forwarded the emails from my GAP coverage so that Joe can see a claim did exist. I spoke to Joe a few days later and he then told me that Tom said the GAP coverage is not kicking in because the insurance company paid everything off. I then forwarded Joe the statement from Capitol One which showed balance of $1106. Joe said he will look into it. When Joe called me back he told me come in to PGH Auto Depot and bring pay stubs, and all my documentation I had regarding my car accident. I went in on Friday April 28th at 9AM. Joe and Tom were communicating with GAP coverage trying to get the $1000 towards my next car offered with my GAP coverage. They were trying to get me in a car that day. I was going to finance through a credit union but Tom had advised me I had to wait until Monday or Tuesday to hear something back. I signed bill of sale paper April 28th 2017 for a 2016 Kia and it has on the bill of sale paper that I put $1000 because Tom thought I was really going to get it. I left PGH Auto Depot at 2pm that day no car. Tom had advised me they were still going to work on getting me that $1000. At this point I was just fed up. I filed complaint with Revdex.com and the next day I received that text message from Tom. I thought I understood from the text messages that despite everthing that happened I might be able to get $795 refund from what I paid to GAP coverage. And in the text messages Tom states I can get $795 to use as a deposit if I get car from there. A few days ago I called GAP to see if contract was cancelled. They advised me that I should be getting that $795 and that I had to go through PGH Auto Depot to cancel it. The contract is still not cancelled and I want the $795 if it is entitled to me.

Below are supporting documents. The...

conversation is screenshotted after Pittsburgh Auto Depot received my complaint from Revdex.com. Not one time did the dearlership advise me to contact the third partycompany. Tom was doing all the communicating for me trying to get me in a new car. The GAP contract does not state any exclusions on how long I have had the vehicle before it kicks in. Below is a picture of the balance left over on the loan. I also have screenshotted 2 papers I signed on 04/28/2017 Tom actually almost had me in a 2016 Kia. Not once did they advise me to call GAP coverage. Tom was doing everything.

From: [redacted]>Date: Tue, Feb 23, 2016 at 2:50 PMSubject: Pittsburgh Auto DepotTo whom it may concern, my name is [redacted] and I am emailing u regarding my rejection of the offer on complaint #[redacted]. I was unable to give a response to my rejection. So here it is.....PAD did a bait and switch on me to get me to come to their business. I was told over and over I could get a car financed for $500 dwn. And when I took a cab to PAD seems I couldnt get anything for no less than $1000 dwn.....and I even agreed to that. They wanted me to buy a 2005 lexus, I car I cant afford, then they came back to me and said I couldnt get financed for it anyway. But that they did have cars in a separate lot I could qualify for.....I waited for another hour for the salesman to come back and tell me sorry we have nothing. So, I took another cab home, I have very limited income from SSDI and for PAD to drag me out in the middle of winter for absolutely nothing was outrageous. So as I stated, THEY CANT FINANCE EVERYONE, as their ads state.Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

When Mr. [redacted] applied for a vehicle he was told that his credit was good here and that he was able to get financed for a vehicle but if he got a co signer it would help his situation.  Although he was able to get financing for a vehicle he needed an amount of down money that he wasn't able...

to come up with so he did choose to look for a co-signer.  Unfortunately the co signer that he brought with him did not help his situation.  Again, he can come purchase a vehicle here with just his credit.  He can come at anytime to look at our vehicles.  Our down payments do start at $499 plus tax and tags, this is a starting point and not everyone is able to start there.  Thank YouJillian K[redacted]Management

Review: I received a 3 month warranty and my transmission went shortly after. I learned thru a phone call with someone in charge at pittsburgh auto depot that they don't have 3 month warranties, and was told there is absolutely nothing they can do , not even an offer to diagnose the problem.Desired Settlement: I would like the money I put down and the 5 months of payments refunded for unacceptable business practices.

Review: I went in to purchase a vehicle and was told that I only had one option available to me which I was ok with but then went to see the vehicle and was not too impressed. I gave a $200 deposit to hold the car until today and went home to think it over. I decided that I did not want to spend that amount of money on a wrecked vehicle and called for my deposit back. I was told that all down payments were non refundable. I asked when I was given that information and was told "last night out on the lot". That is not the case. I never received that information in any form what so ever, verbal or other wise. I still have no idea what the actual price of the vehicle is. I was told that with bad credit I won't get anything from anyone else and I should be happy with what I can get.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my $200 returned to me.
