Review: We Finance Everyone?.....im the one they couldnt finance. I filled out online application, told them exactly what downpayment I had and what payment I could afford. I recieved phone calls stating to come on in we have something for u......well, I took a $10 cab ride down to P.A.D. and once I get there im told of all the extra things I would have to pay within 30 days (tax, tags and title). I said why wasnt I informed of these charges before I came in, but I said what else could I do about this, so the salesman and I agreed that I would put $1000. Down that would take care of taxes and down payment. Do another hour went by then I was told they didnt have a car that I would qualify for. Why the hell would u bring someone into your store, in the middle of winter saying you could help me only to turn me away and spend a total of $20 on needless cab rides. Simply unprofessional and outrageous!!! I am a man with limited means and dont gave time or money to be wasted on false advertisementsDesired Settlement: You cannot claim to finance everyone whens its apparent you cant help everyone!!! Would like to be refunded the $20 wasted on cab fares since I came in on your word that u can help me.

We are very sorry Mr. [redacted] feels as though we were not able to finance him. After speaking with Robert the salesman, he explained to me that Mr. [redacted] had two approvals through two different banks. We offered him two options and unfortunately he was not able to afford the down payment. We are still willing to help him get into a vehicle if he was able to save enough money. Robert was also scheduled to pick Mr. [redacted] up from his house on the Monday before he showed the Saturday before with no appointment. Like I said we are sorry that Mr. [redacted] is frustrated but we are still willing to help.Thank you Managment

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

From: [redacted]>Date: Tue, Feb 23, 2016 at 2:50 PMSubject: Pittsburgh Auto DepotTo whom it may concern, my name is [redacted] and I am emailing u regarding my rejection of the offer on complaint #[redacted]. I was unable to give a response to my rejection. So here it is.....PAD did a bait and switch on me to get me to come to their business. I was told over and over I could get a car financed for $500 dwn. And when I took a cab to PAD seems I couldnt get anything for no less than $1000 dwn.....and I even agreed to that. They wanted me to buy a 2005 lexus, I car I cant afford, then they came back to me and said I couldnt get financed for it anyway. But that they did have cars in a separate lot I could qualify for.....I waited for another hour for the salesman to come back and tell me sorry we have nothing. So, I took another cab home, I have very limited income from SSDI and for PAD to drag me out in the middle of winter for absolutely nothing was outrageous. So as I stated, THEY CANT FINANCE EVERYONE, as their ads state.Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

Review: The salesman that I dealt with took over $3,000 of my money and refused to refund it back to me once the company re-gained possession of the vehicle that was being sold to me. I had possession of the vehicle for maybe 30 days, if that long, and the salesman claimed that he could not get the bank to approve the loan that I was supposed to receive for the vehicle so he needed the vehicle back and was not going to refund any of my money to me.Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded my down payment for the vehicle, the money paid for taxes, title, plates and fees because I no longer possess the vehicle or the plates that were paid for by me.

On February 26 2013 [redacted] purchased a vehicle from Pittsburgh Auto

Depot. At the time the bank conducted their verification of employment it was

brought to their attention that [redacted] created fake pay stubs. Her last day of

employment was on October 8 2012. She provided pay stubs to us that flowed

into February 2013. Therefore she was not able to obtain bank financing for her

purchase because of fraud. At this point, we began to call [redacted] she would not

answer our phone calls. Since the bank turned down the loan we became lien

holder. She was liable to make her monthly payments to Pittsburgh Auto Depot.

[redacted] did not make her car payment, therefore we took back possession of the

vehicle.

Review: On May 8, 2015 I went to Pittsburgh Auto Depot to trade in my car for a newer car. I came across a 2006 Toyota Prius that I really liked. I asked Alex (the salesman) if I could test drive it. Of course he said yes. Before I could test drive there was a problem with the battery (so they say). The change out the battery and I'm ready to go. I test drive it, I like it, I want it. Alex fills out the paperwork and I now own the car. May 10, 2015 it doesn't start up, all my safety lights are on. Call Pitt Auto tell them what's going on, I need to tow it to them. Tom (finance guy) said I could use his AAA he said I'd be reimbursed. I spent $264.50 for the tow. I was never reimbursed. They claim they fixed the battery. May 14, 2015 breaks down again, they come and tow me again for the same reasons, again they said it was the battery. June 9, 2015 it won't start again same exact issues!! Luckily my friend lets me use her AAA to tow it to Toyota ( my warranty says I can take it to any shop). Dianna (from Toyota) is trying to contact Pitt Auto and they hang up on her 3 times. She asked for a manager they say it's Ken, then hangs up. I called Pitt Auto asking them to fax me the work order and its excuse after excuse. After the second time Pitt Auto fixed it they were worried they messed up the generator (come to find out a Prius doesn't have one). I'm currently putting over $400 into a car that has a problem that no one can tell me what's wrong. June 16, 2015 I call Pitt Auto asking for the work order and still nothing, I asked who the manager was the guy told me they don't have one. I asked who the owner was the guy told me I wasn't allowed that information. I google it to find out that Firas K[redacted] is the CEO.Desired Settlement: I want reimbursed the $264.50 for the tow, I want reimbursed for my car the $500 trade in, and I want reimbursed for the fix that Toyota is trying to do currently it's $323.95 plus tax and I want reimbursed for the first car payment of $309 for a car that I got to drive for two weeks! That way I have a nice amount to put on a new car from somewhere else. All my money has gone into a car that I can't even drive.

Review: I bought an suv 2004 pacifica. all my papers state that I bought an awd (all wheel drive) car. I live in Pittsburgh and the snow is bad around here, also lots of hills. I told the sales man [redacted] I wanted an awd car for winter purpose. I have papers stating that I bought this car with awd on it! only to find out 6 months later I went to go buy tires on it that I do not have this on the car. the car is front wheel drive only. what am I suppose to do with that?? if I wanted a front wheel drive car I would have settled for a smaller car. I am very unhappy and I trusted them selling me an suv so I wouldnt have trouble in the winter. I called them trying to get them to exchange the suv for another REAL awd car. I already paid 1,000 on my loan never late or missed a payment. I put 900 down on the car up front. soon as I drove it off st the lot I had a bad strut that he told me was just was ice.. later they replaced it for me. then the sales man showed up at my work three times getting me to sign new contracts saying it got messed up. also not even a month of me having it I had to get the transmission replaced which I got paper work for that. I am very unhappy that this all happened all I wanted was for them to exchange my car out for an awd car and put what I have paid towards the new one being this wasnt my fault they had false information. I dont want them to close down I was very greatful that they got me approved and I was getting people to go to them.. but when I found this out and they dont help me with there false info.Desired Settlement: I would just like another awd vehicle same year and everything with out my payments going up or a loss of my money from what I have been paying on for this car an not have my loan changed. I think that would be fair. I can back up everything with paper work. I seen that they only had limited awd cars on there lot right now.. so I would settle for a 2004 volvo I saw.. atleast it states its awd and not just on paper work please Revdex.com help me this matter this was my first car loan an car sale.

Re: [redacted]

Please see supporting documents signed at time of purchase that in no way give indication of an AWD Vehicle being Purchased. In no way did [redacted] state a concern of having an AWD vehicle at the point of sale or prior. [redacted] was approved by the bank on a 2WD vehicle. It was mentioned to [redacted] that the vehicle was equipped with FWD and was equipped with 4 Wheel ABS Traction Control. Furthermore, after each purchase transaction prior to funding on the deal, the bank who has approved the financing performs a customer interview verifying all options on the vehicle. It is our belief that [redacted] is mistaking 4 Wheel ABS Traction Control with AWD. In addition [redacted] has yet to contact [redacted] regarding any concerns of this matter.

[redacted] purchased this vehicle "As-Is". Nothing was promised to [redacted] in regards to repairing any future or existing repairs needed. In Good Faith Pittsburgh Auto Depot repaired the vehicle on January 17th., six days after she had possession of the vehicle. The item that was repaired was not broken upon delivery and it is in our belief that it was a direct result of taking the vehicle off road due to the mud that was found and the force of the impact left by the broken part. Pittsburgh Auto Depot repaired the part for her at no additional cost after the purchase had been made. In addition Pittsburgh Auto Depot gave [redacted] a complimentary warranty at no additional cost. Pittsburgh Auto Depot will assist [redacted] in a purchase transaction of a different vehicle if we can attain approval. However, in no way are willing to offer any monetary refunds

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Pittsburgh Auto Depot on January 11 2014 within a week it completley shut off and wouldnt start back up. After back and forth calls between them and warranty company they fixed it. When I got it back the check engine light was on I called and told them and they informed it was a dummy light and nothing was wrong with engine. A month later the truck started tapping I had called dealership back and they told me to call warranty company Short story I had to take it to the garage and it needs a new transmission and new engine. I am not happy about this and problem shouldnt have happened The truck has been in the shop for a month when truck will supposibly be done which is April 14 2014 it would be in shop for 31 days. And the warranty company that Pgh auto depot goes through only covers a rental car for 4 days at $25.00 a day. so now I am paying over $800 for a rental car and plus my truck payment on top of itDesired Settlement: I want some kind of reimbursment for this.

Review: I purchased a used 2011 vehicle from Pittsburgh Auto Depot that I insisted be checked over and inspected because although my insurance rep at [redacted] Insurance couldn't confirm a previous accident a representative from the same insurance company who the sales person reached for me to acquire insurance said that it had been in a previous accident. I work out of town so the day that the car was picked up while driving to my out of town location during the 4 hour drive I had bouts of the front end of the car shimmying and bouncing hard, steering being difficult when going over some bridge or overpass connectors or man hole covers or uneven ground or sewer dip. One time a car traveling on the right side of me slowed down because during one of these incidents my car shimmied toward the right going over towards his lane. When I made contact with dealership he initially asked me when I would be returning to [redacted] to have his people look over it. That was before I called the financial institution [redacted] to that was required to finalize the loan. After I reluctantly called the dealership now tells me to take the car wherever I want and to contact the Warranty company that I paid $2500.00 for a three year Warranty. I called the Warranty company ([redacted] or [redacted] warranty corp whichever it is called having info from the dealership on both) which insisted that they (both warranty companies) had no Warranty with the VIN, my name or address. Warranty representative (from [redacted] asked me for dealership info and said that he would call me back. He never did. I contacted dealership with message explaining what had happened he has never responded nor has Warranty company ever responded. When calling I mostly get a message saying to leave a message but the time I did that they never called me back. I have fears every time I drive this car of an accident that will not be my fault but I will be blamed for. This is an every time I drive problem and it scares me especially to [redacted] and back.Desired Settlement: If problem can be fixed I want it fixed, if not another reliable and safe vehicle.

Re-[redacted]we are sorry that Mr. [redacted] is frustrated with his vehicle. I did a little research and found that the [redacted] that he purchased from us has a clean car fax and there was no indication at the time of purchase that it was in any type of accident. When Mr. [redacted] called the dealership he was informed that we do deal with two different warranty companies, but he does indeed have a 3 month warranty through [redacted] warranty). If he is experiencing problems with his vehicle he should contact his warranty company. Thank You[redacted]Managment

Review: [redacted] I purchased a car from auto depot in august 2013. After I purchased the vehicle I was told it was leaking from the sunroof and they would unclog the drains. 2 days later I had a puddle of water in my car they said they will replace the seals. I took my car down and they supposedly fixed the seals. After having my car back for a day I noticed everytime I hit a bump it hit hard. So I took the car back and they supposedly fixed it. I am still getting water in my car and my strut or whatever it is, is still hitting. I have called down multiple times and no one has called me back. My mechanic said that this vehicle should not of passed inspection with tires, brakes, etc and yet it was. I love this car but it stinks so bad from the water I hate to drive it! They also sold me an expedition that I needed a $1000 brake job! and it wasnt even detailed!Desired Settlement: I would like auto depot to make right on what they said they were going fix the first time. I have spent my own money trying to find where the leak came from. [redacted] said it was the sound traps.

Review: I purchased a Jeep Commander from Pittsburgh Auto Depot in February and 3 days after I got it the car wouldn't start after much aggravation and complaining they finally fixed it. Things will the car have been ok a few lights here and there have come on and then went back off. Now today I had a flat tire in the middle of downtown pittsburgh an the police came to assist me. We went to get the spare and realized there wasnt one. I called the dealership and explained that I had a flat, and and told them the car didnt come with a spare and they said thats my problem for not checking before I purchased the car and they coukdnt help me. Unbelievable.Desired Settlement: I think I should be given a spare and a refund for the tire that I had to purchase.

Business

Response:

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience that [redacted] has had. When [redacted] purchased this vehicle it would have had a spare tire in it. We check every retail car that we sell for a spare tire. We cannot be held responsible for a car that was sold 5 months ago.

Review: When I first went to Pittsburgh Auto Depot I talk to a saleman and I told him I wanted something that was big roomy on the inside because I had a big family. The first thing he pointed out to me was a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe. I took a look at it and I didnt like it, so he told me to take a look around the lot. I wasnt exactly looking for a truck but I wasnt agaisnt it either. After looking around I saw several cars and a few suvs I aquired about that he told me were all either out of my league as far as payments go or were already sold. He then told me to look at a 2006 Tahoe which I did like because of the 3rd row seats. So after several hours went by and him taking his time with a family before me, he finally told me that I was not approved for the 2006 Tahoe and that he would try for the 2004. I never actually wanted it and I was still looking around trying to make a decision because they were close to closing time and I had to get a vehicle that day and be to work by 10pm. He then notified me I was approved for the 2004 Tahoe. I really was undecisive so he kicked in too full salesman mood, and started to tell me how good the car was and that it also had 3rd row seats and for the price it was good and yada yada. I took it for a test drive and everything was smooth and looked fine. So because of the pressure from him and to be to work I went with it. A few days later I was trying to put the 3rd row seats up and noticed I couldnt find them. I ended up having to take the car back a week later due to some issues that arose that they didnt fix because they said they sell cars AS IS, and for it to be inspected (which the truck shouldnt have passed if I would have took it some place else). I asked him to pull the 3rd row seats up and he told me there wasnt any. Then told me I could always purchase another row and that he apologize. So I took my concerns to the manager Im guessing, and he told me there was nothing they could do about the situation.Desired Settlement: Im asking for a different vehicle. The truck was sold to me under false pretenses. I only wanted it because I was told there was 3rd row seats. Why pay 80 to fill a tank up for a truck that only seats 5 people thats not what I said I wanted. If I wanted something for 5 people I rather had gotten one of the cars I was looking at that your salesman told me all were sold or would be too high of payments for me but didn't even try.Thank you,

Review: I purchased a 2003 Nissan Murano on January 14,2014 with $1300 for the down payment and had the car for two weeks when I was called and told that the bank denied my loan because I had not worked at my job for a year. Pittsburgh auto depot said that they had another bank to finance me and so I went in to sign new paper work for the second bank. My interest rate had increased and my monthly payment. A week later after I signed the second set of paper work I still was not financed through a bank so I returned the vehicle. They told me that they would keep my $1300 down because it was in my contract. However, when I returned the vehicle I still was not being financed through any bank.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my $1300 down payment that I paid Pittsburgh Auto Depot at the time of the purchase.

Review: Website claims gurantee financing for bad credit , repos , bankruptcy , etc. with minimum down payment of 499$ and no credit check . Applied for financing , I have bad credit and another auto loan on my name but I make 45k$+ a year and live with parents and no other bills . Got told I need a co signer due to bad credit so I tried to find a co signer but was not able to so I called and said they can try to get me financed somehow because there guaranteeing financing for anybody even with money down I had, he then turned me down claiming he been doing financing for 7 years and etc and it won't work . I then told him the website claims all this glorified " guaranteed " financing is available he then gave me attitude and hung up on me .Desired Settlement: I would like to have the dealership try to help me get financed for a vehicle , also to correct any misleading information on their website and commercials .

Business

Response:

When Mr. [redacted] applied for a vehicle he was told that his credit was good here and that he was able to get financed for a vehicle but if he got a co signer it would help his situation. Although he was able to get financing for a vehicle he needed an amount of down money that he wasn't able to come up with so he did choose to look for a co-signer. Unfortunately the co signer that he brought with him did not help his situation. Again, he can come purchase a vehicle here with just his credit. He can come at anytime to look at our vehicles. Our down payments do start at $499 plus tax and tags, this is a starting point and not everyone is able to start there. Thank YouJillian K[redacted]Management

Review: To begin, we didn't buy nor take this car off of the lot. WHICH WE HAVE VOICEMAIL PROOF. On October 9, 2012, my wife and I were looking to buy a car. We test drove a 2006 Infiniti M35 35 Luxury. My wife called me and I came to dealership. She had been there for 6 hours. They stated they needed a $700 deposit in order for us to take the car. Right after they took the payment from our account they wanted us to get a blank check from our bank POST date for 2 weeks which they hold to pay taxes on the above described vehicle. We found this suspicious because it should've been included in the price of the car. We told them "we will be back tomorrow." Before we left we were told to sign a paper called a "Spot Delivery Agreement" which states on the first sentence "Although I have been permitted to take delivery (which we DID NOT) I understand that the financing for the purchase of the vehicle HAS NOT BEEN FINALIZED". Hence us calling our bank [redacted]s because they fraudulently took the $700 and refused to return the money. Our bank tried to fix this because we explained and showed [redacted] as our new lender. NOT [redacted] AS PITTS. AUTO tried using. The sales representative from the finance company they were going to use gave us a $300 coupon to use towards our next car (good customer for 8 years) I also called the rep, because Pittsburgh Auto tried (another scam) to tell us "No, the $300 was for the whole price of the car." The representative from the finance company said "no that was not correct". Which we yesterday got hit with the $700 being taken back from our bank because their fraud department contacted Pitts Auto and they refused to answer. Which leads me to filing this claim for fraudulent funds withdrawal/return on behalf of my wife and I against Pittsburgh Auto Depot. Our bank on [redacted] Street in Pittsburgh Pa ###-###-#### [redacted] customer service and [redacted] the Manager of the branch really tried said to make sure we file this claim.Desired Settlement: We are entitled to a full refund $700, seeing as we never legally took possession of said vehicle. There were too many discrepancies surrounding the sale of said vehicle 1) wanting blank check they would hold for 2 weeks for the taxes on the vehicle which in PA should have been included in the total price of the car 2) we never drove the car home 3)the voucher was to be used towards the down payment not the total price of the car. We were advised to sue, we are doing as well,if not resolved here

Review: I was in process of purchasing a car there- they misrepresented my down payment money to bank so they could get me approved for loan. After I got home and realized all of this info and that deal wasnt good wanted refund for my $500 in which they refused to give me which was part of my downpayent money on vehicle that I never purchased. I also told them that I was contacting you and they said Fine.Desired Settlement: $500

Review: [redacted]I purchased a used car on 11/14/13 gave a $500 down payment and paid for insurance that day as well as wrote a check for 871.68 for the allegheny count sales tax. On or around dec18th or 19th the dealer requested the car be returned due to loan not being approved. Per that conversation the finance manager or owner told my step father [redacted] that he would not be returning the $500 down payment but he would cancel the penn dot check for the vehicle. We agreed and the car was retrieved. On 1/24/14 I got a return check notice from penndot saying the check was deposited on 12/31/13, after the car was returned and title transferred back to dealer. When I called to speak with him regarding this matter he hung up on me. Pa DMV law states that sales tax must be paid within 20 days of date which they didn't. And if car is returned then customer is owed sales tax.Desired Settlement: I would like them to contact the PA bureau of motor vehicles at ###-###-#### and pay the amount due of $812.71. Review: I purchased my vehicle in July 2013. In October 2013, my car started making a noise so I took it to get an oil change since I was nearing the 3 month/3,000 miles that you should get your oil changed. I bought the car with an extended warranty "As Is"REWIND TO BEGINNING.... When I purchased the vehicle the inspection stickers still said March 2013. They said I needed to drive it 100 miles and bring it back (which I did) and they denied me the inspection since they did not have the title for the car yet and it was needed to complete the paperwork. (this went on for a month) after calling off of work to keep taking it to try and get inspected I no longer had any time to continue to call off. So when they got the title I had to schedule for a weekend. I went in two weekends and the mechanic wasn't in. (I WAS UPSET) so when the mechanic FINALLY was working and I could spare time to take my car in they denied me and said too much time has passed and now its my responsibility to pay for an inspection and any repairs needed to complete it. (UPSET EVEN MORE) fast forward to major issue.. after the oil change I take the car to a repair shop because I still hear the noise. One gentleman said "Sweetie your motor is bad" so I took it to get another opinion.. and THAT guy said.."WHOA your motor is DYING" so I went home to take in all this info. I scheduled to have my car thoroughly looked at and took it back to the second shop. They said they had to take it apart. Called the warranty company and they said its too soon call the dealership.. the dealership said call the warranty not our problem. After about 1 month and a half of going back and forth and me paying to have my car towed back and forth (to prevent further damage) the warranty company and dealership are going back and forth and they decide not only is the dealership NOT paying for anything the warranty company (which I paid 1719.00 for) is only paying for 1400.00 minus my 200.00 deductible.I was sold a faulty car from the beginning and they KNEW ITDesired Settlement: After being sold a "As Is" vehicle with an extended warranty that had expired stickers and then being told to illegally drive the vehicle while there were no valid inspection stickers, first of all has to be illegal on the businesses part. Furthermore, now i'm being told that the motor was dead from the beginning that there were signs of "doctoring" up the bad motor. I took out a loan on this vehicle and still have obligations to repay that loan, pay for the repairs or replace the car!

Review: Bought a car on 6/4/13 from Pittsburgh Auto Depot. The next day engine light came on. Called them and they had me bring the car and cleared the light off. Few days later light came on again. I had to purchase a part and have this put on. The headlights would turn in hi beams when the turn signal was in use. Day 29 of owning the vehicle, the transmission slipped. The Auto Depot gave me a warranty for 3 months or 3,500 miles which covers absolutely nothing that I need to have done. I did buy the car "as is", however the condition was not clear. I thought the car was going to run at least a year after purchase. Not the case, I am now going to have to replace the transmission on the car AND pay the car note while the vehicle is of no use to me. I called the Auto Depot and spoke to my sales rep, who of course was great initially, now it seems as if my problem is just that my problem. I traded a car with transmission issue and they gave me $500.00 for that car and turn and charge me $8,000 for the same issues on a "new" car.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to either help with the cost of repairs, as well as part purchased within the first week of owning the vehicle. Another option would be to take the price down some.

In response to the complaint filed on 07/09/2013, by [redacted].

After receiving the letter from the Revdex.com, I contacted the customer, [redacted]. She made me aware that the car was at [redacted]. A replacement transmission was being put in the car, which was being covered by the warranty that we gave when she purchased the car. I have contacted the customer again, and not received a response.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the transmission was indeed covered at [redacted]. There are still many things wrong with the vehicle that I had initially taken it to the Auto Depot for and paid to have a part installed, which has now caused additional issues with the car. I am satisfied that the transmission was covered and would like to remove my complaint from the Revdex.com. Auto Depot is not at fault.
