March 31,2016 I contacted Roto Rooter 3 days ago to change a shower cartridge. I asked if there was a service charge & they said no. I was not told of a flat rate charge or cost. When the service man arrived, he told me that there was a flat charge of $ 185 dollars. This was for a 15 dollar part & labour. Although the serviceman was very polite, he was at the house less than 10 minutes. He used 1 screwdriver & 1 pair of plyers. All for $ 185, [redacted] I would be afraid to ask what Roto Rooter would charge for 1 hour. If you are considering using Rotor Rooter's service, make sure you get an EXACT quote for the part cost & ALL other costs for their work. [redacted]. Gord B
