Review: I placed an order with this company online on 1/3/2014. My credit card was charged on 1/4/2014. I received an email stating my order status as "awaiting shipment" on 1/4 and then received nothing further. I've emailed 3 inquiries through the "contact us" and "frequently asked questions" sections of their websiteand have received no response whatsoever, and no shipment of the items I ordered.

The schedule of the event is such that it's now too late, I've had to go elsewhere to purchase what I need.Desired Settlement: I'd like to get my money back, and after seeing how many other complaints this company has against them on the Revdex.com site, I'd like to see them shut down and their website removed. It seems to me they are not a legitimate business and should be prosecuted for fraud. How is a company like this allowed to stay in business?

I've ordered confidently from many companies online for years, and this is the first time I've run into this type of scam company.

I've noted refund cash above, because I feel really uncomfortable that this scammer has my credit card info.

Review: I placed an order on December 22nd for a birthday party January 25th. My order status is not being updated past Awaiting Shipment for weeks now. I have repeatedly emailed their customer service and filled out the contact form on their website asking for an update on my order. Their site says they have a chat feature, but they don't. I also cannot locate a phone number for their business. I just want them to deliver my order or at least contact me to tell me that it's not coming.Desired Settlement: I just want them to deliver my order or at least contact me to tell me that it's not coming.

Review: I placed an order for napkins, plates, and cutlery August 11, 2013. All information on the web site indicated that shipping would take place within 2-5 days. On 9/7/13 I wrote asking where my order was. I received an email on 8//9/13 stating that the plates and napkins were being shipped on 9/30/13 an that the cutlery would be shipped from the manufacturer direct to me on 9/26/13. I contacted the company again via email and voice message of /9/13 asking the status of my order. The only status information I can find is that it is "IN PROCESS" I don't know what else to do. Review: I placed an order with this company on May 5, 2013 for my daughter's graduation party, which I gave them as being held May 31, 2013. They state on their website that orders ship within 1-4 days. I received an email saying that something was out of stock, they didn't tell me what it was, but that they needed the party date again. Again, I told them May 31. I called and emailed them to check on things, with no answer or return of my phone calls. I finally got an email stating that my order would arrive May 24. It did not. I called/emailed AGAIN. They said it would arrive May 30. It didn't arrive until May 31, and even then, the order was not complete. At this point, it was too late to try to find anything else as we live in a rural area and I did not have time to drive a long distance looking for things.Desired Settlement: I would like at least a partial refund due to the terrible service and the fact that I didn't receive all that I ordered and was charged for. I also would like this published so that others won't have to deal with this frustration when they are trying to plan an event. I can honestly say this is the worst service I have ever experienced from an on-line company. Thank you for your help.

We received the first order inquiry from this customer on On 5/21/2013 10:16 AM. We were told that the set up for this event was taking place on 5/31/2013 and that we had 24 hours to respond or the customer would, "find what they needed through a different company." One of our customer service reps. immediately replied back to the customer and confirmed that they would receive their order in time, AND DID tell the customer that their order was going to be shipped the following day (5/22/2013). The order did not actually ship out until 5/28/2103. We did send the customer an e-mail confirming the shipment on the 28th and the order did arrive on the 31st.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We fully acknowledge the fact that the customer did not receive proper customer service and was given incomplete and misleading information at times. We have made several adjustments to our customer service and believe we're now better serving our customers.

I made phone calls and left messages with their customer service number previously to May 21. I also emailed them before that date. The phone calls were never answered. I had notified the company by May 10 (at the latest) of the the party date, asking if they would be able to deliver everything that I ordered before then. They did not respond to that particular email either.

Review: I ordered products from this site on 11/14/13 and never received my order. It is now 12/2/13. They debited my bank account $44.65. I'm now reading reviews and complaints all over the Internet including the Revdex.com that this is a common occurrence with this company. I would like my money back. This company should be shut down. Not to mention I needed these items for a baby shower and we're going on 3 weeks waiting for them. They didn't even send me a confirmation email...just took my money and never sent the products.Desired Settlement: I want my credit card refunded immediately for $44.65.

Hello, after several calls and emails threatening to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, the company finally shipped me my items. They were not the items I ordered and colors didn't match, but I will close the complaint. No need to contact them further. Thank you,

Review: I ordered $51.70 worth of products on 10/19/13 on this website and have not received said product as of 11/1/13. I have called and left messages and emailed twice with no response. They have charged my credit card, but now I don't even want the items.

Review: I placed an online order with PlatesandNapkins.com on August 1, 2013. On August 2 I received an email indicating that the products would ship shortly. By August 29, 2013 I had not received the order. On August 29 I reached out to the company and I received email back stating that the items were shipping from seperate warehouses and asking what was the date of my event. I indicated that the event was on September 22. They stated I would receive the items the following week (the week of September 2). On September 11, when I had still not received the products I called and emailed again. I received an email stating that half of the order would ship that day, for receipt on September 13 and the other half would ship on Friday, September 13 for arrival on September 18. Although I asked for tracking numbers they were not provided. On September 13 and September 18 I did not receive the products as was promised. I emailed again on September 16 to ask for a tracking number and they promised I would have it the next day. I did not receive it. I received 1/2 the order on September 21 (the day before the event) but never received the second 1/2. I have never been able to reach someone on the phone - although I have left three messages over the course of the last month. Their customer service is terrible and follow through is even worse. Two months is far long enough to fulfill an order - especially when you don't receive it.Desired Settlement: I would like IMMEDIATELY to be reimbursed for the products I did not receive.

This customer initially placed their order on 8/1/13. It was a CASE order which means it gets shipped from the manufacturer in another state. Every manufacturer we work with asks for an event date because CASE orders cannot be returned for a refund (unless defective). We sent an e-mail to the customer asking for an event date (explaining why) and received no answer, so the manufacturer did not ship this order out. On 8/28, the customer e-mailed and said they hadn't received a tracking number yet. We explained that we needed an event date in order to have the order shipped. We received an event date of September 22nd and we promptly passed that info on to the manufacturer. On 9/11, we were informed by the customer that they still hadn't received their order. We immediately contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed that they were still shipping the order and assured us that it would arrive in time for the customer's event. On the 16th, the customer sent another e-mail saying they hadn't receieved tracking info yet and voiced their concern. We sent an e-mail late in the day to the manufacturer asking for their tracking info be sent asap. On the morning of the 17th, the representative from the manufacturer contacted us and explained that the address provided by the customer was a PO box, and explained that they do not ship CASE orders to PO boxes (because of their no return policy on CASE orders). We immediately e-mailed the customer that info and received no response. Then after several days we were contacted by the customer who was quite upset (as expected). We explained the situation and were told, "Because you took so long, my intern went back to college, and that's why you never got a response from her."

We sincerely apologize to this customer for their inconvenience and completely understand their frustration. We tried to answer their questions regarding why this occurred but were met with only hostility and rudeness (completely understandable). We did say to the customer that had our inquiry for an event date and street address been met, the order would have arrived on time for their event. The customer has demanded that their payment be refunded immediately. As soon as we receive it from the manufacturer (any day) we'll refund her.

On 9/7, we immediately sent an automatic response explaining that (1) or more items were temporarily out of stock and the order was on hold until we heard back from the customer. On 9/30, we responded to the customer's order inquiry and explained that several items were on back order and asked what actions they wanted us to take - cancel/substitute/send. We received no response so the order remained on hold. To date we have sent several responses to the customer and haven't heard back. Their order has been canceled and the customer has been refunded.

Review: In November 2013 we order product from this company. We were billed ([redacted]) on Dec 1 but told shipment would not occur until Dec 16th. The product never arrived and repeated attempts to contact business have been unanswered (e-mail and phone)

This customer placed an order on July 27th, 2013. On July 30th, 2013 we sent an e-mail explaining that one or more items ordered were temporarily out of stock and asked for an event date (when order needed by). We received no response. On August 8th, we responded to a follow up e-mail from the customer and again stated that one or more items was out of stock and again asked for an event date - no response. On August 13th, we responded to another order inquiry from the customer and this time we apologized for the long delay and again asked for an event date - no response. As of 8/20, 2013 we're still back ordered on the items, have not charged the customer for the order, and have not received a response to our e-mails. We're now taking additional steps to get in touch with this customer. If the order is wanted it'll be shipped as soon as we receive the items from the manufacturer. If the order is no longer wanted it will be immediately canceled (they were not charged for it).

I ABSOLUTELY did not receive ANY emails from said company. I ABSOLUTELY indicated my event date when I placed the order on July 27th. I also had to input my email address, as well as my phone number, on the order form. Therefore, if they were unable (for whatever reason) to contact me via email then then a phone call/voice message would have sufficed and been considered good customer service. Furthermore, I find it very interesting that the phone number PayPal has for the business is not in service. (866-293-2435) When I went to the website, and used the contact information indicated on there, all my attempts (twice via email, twice via live chat, and twice via voice message) were NEVER successful. NOT ONCE was I able to speak to someone or even received acknowledgement of the messages I left. By the way, I am fully aware of the time difference between Pacific and Eastern time and attempted contact accordingly.

Review: I ordered supplies for an event on April 28, 2013. Contacted Customer Service on May 8th about shipment. Items scheduled to ship on May 9, 2013. Received package on May 13, 2013, I was missing cups and balloons and was the wrong color. Contacted Customer Service on May 11, 2013 for an RMA# to return the incorrect merch. Received RMA on May 15, 2013. Returned Items on May 16, 2013 returned to them on May 20th. Per the policy, I will receive a refund 3-4 days after receiving items. 10 days later and sending emails everyday, still NO REFUND! Ugh. What a nightmare!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.

I asked for a refjnd and they said they would post it to my account but never didi0. I have tried to call, left messages and e-mailed with no response. Review: I ordered party supplies from this company (Platesandnapkins.com) on 8/6/13. The order arrived in a smashed box and was most of the items were unusable. I contacted the company and was told they would ship out replacement items and the rest of my order the next day. Two weeks past and I had not received anything. On 9/9/13, I sent an email and they responded the napkins had been on back order (in stock now) and everything would ship the next day. On 9/17/13, nothing had arrived, so I sent another email telling them my party was on Sat 9/22/13 and I had to have the items by then. They responded that I could expect the delivery on Friday, 9/20/13. Nothing arrived and I had to buy everything again.

I have called and left messages, e-mailed and even tried a live chat all to no avail. I am not getting any repsponse.Desired Settlement: At this juncture,

1) I did not get the product, despite ordering over 6 weeks before my party

2) the product that did arrive was either unuseable or I was unable to match.

3) I had to buy everything to replace what I had ordered

I would like a refund for the entire amount of my purchase for $83.35.

This customer informed us on Wednesday, August 28th, that their box was damaged when they received it and that (2) items were smashed and that they didn't receive another other item that our system says was shipped. We immediately responded that we were very sorry that their package was damaged and asked if we had time to send replacements. We immediately said (without knowing what was in inventory) that we'd send the replacement items out the very next day (Thursday) and asked if the replacement items would make it in time for their event. We were told, "Yes, if you get them out right away." We understood this to mean that we had little to no time to get the replacements shipped to the customer. So we confirmed that we would do everything we could to get the replacements sent out the next day (Thursday). When Thursday came it was discovered that all the inventory was spoken for other orders, so there were no extras to send. We did not have the inventory to send to the customer and we were wrong to promise the items without properly knowing what our inventory levels were. We made a mistake and apologize for it. The customer did e-mail again a few days later and we again apologized and explained that out inventory was still low and that some items were even on back order. We were led to believe (based off the customer's previous response) that it was too late to send the replacements at that point. The customer has been sent instructions on how to send back their order for a full refund. Once their order is returned they will immediately be refunded the full amount.

The business never informed me the items were on back order until I sent email & left messages for them. 3 times I was told the product would be sent and 3 times it did not show up. NEVER was I told they could not fill the order because of a product shortage.

I was told 3 days ago that my refund for the damaged cups and missing napkins would've processed "shortly" and I aril have not received the credit on my charge. I was always led to believe the product was about to be shipped, then when it did not arrive, it was me, contacting them.

I am hesitant to return the rest of the order until I get credit for this stuff. Once again, they are not responding to my emails inquiring about that part of the refund.

Review: I placed an order with Plates and Napkins.com on September 25th for a party that I was throwing on October 12th. I received an email saying that my order had been placed and would arrive on Oct 3rd. The next day I received an email saying my order had shipped and I would receive a tracking number soon. On Oct 3rd I realized I never got my order and searched for the tracking number. I emailed the company to find out the status of my order. They emailed me back after two days saying that my order would now arrive on Oct 10th. I asked for a tracking number and they did not respond. On October 8th I called to try to speak to a human and no one answered so I left a message. I never received a call back after numerous attempts and voicemails. I did receive an email on Oct 10th saying my order would arrive on Oct 12th (the day of my party). I sent back an email saying that was too late and please to cancel all orders. They responded with an email saying my order was cancelled. I have not received any refund and the company is not responding to my emails. THEY ARE A SCAM! I went on Yelp after having issues and read only negative reviews of people with the exact same problems. (I should have read Yelp first).Desired Settlement: Refund to my credit card. No products were ever received. I place an order on 9/25 for $54 and 10/1 for $25 I would like a refund.

We received an e-mail from this customer on 5/20/13 asking us to cancel their order. The order was immediately canceled. The customer was never charged so no refund was processed (we do not charge until the order ships - we only receive an authorization of funds from credit card companies which appears to be a charge).

Review: I ordered plates and napkins from this company Jan 12, 2014 for a baby shower on Feb 1st. The website says : "Our policy is to ship orders out as soon as possible - sam day in some cases - but please allow up to 3 business days for your order to ship. If you need your order for a special event, we are happy to accomodate you. Please email customer service ([redacted]) to inform us of any special needs" I included a message that I need the items by Jan 29th and to contact me if this cannot be fulfilled. I tried calling after a week and the [redacted] number is "not in service". I found another phone [redacted] which only goes to voicemail. Left several messages and messaged them under my account "Contact us" on the website several times. The only change I saw was on Jan 20th "Awaiting shipment", it is now Jan 28th. No response via phone, email or their website account which shows I sent messages under my order number # [redacted]. I then searched on-line about the company and found many complaints about the same issues. I paid on their site through Pay Pal, so I contacted them. They are going to try to contact the company, but said they will refund my money if I do not receive the items w/in two weeks. They did say it would put the company in bad standing w/ Pay Pal, but I'm not sure how they have not have more complaints and still allow this company to steal our money? I just submitted my complaint to Pay Pal today. I no longer need the items, as I had to choose another theme and purchase last minute decorations for this shower they have put a damper on (no pun intended!).Desired Settlement: This company should not be allowed to have any business license with it's history and lack of fulfilling orders. It is essentially stealing, not bad service- it's no service at all. Of course I want a refund, but I want a formal complaint in your bureau. Action should be taken. If you have any other suggestions as to how I may file more complaints or have them be forced to respond (or be penalized in any fashion), please let me know!
