Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, *** ***
I spoke to them on the phone and told them that I had already paid $dollars for a $parking fee
If they are ready to forget about it so am I
Thank you for your assistance

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
The reason for my complaint has not been addressedThe fact that when I called Platinum Parking to see what this 'Parking Notice' was for the representative who answered (who told me his name was "irrelevant"), would not tell me what the parking fee was for, where the fee was generated from, ect. The only other thing the representative said, other than his repeated response that he "didn't care if I paid the fee" as I stated in my complaint was the representative yelled at me that he "gets these bogus calls all the time" just prior to hanging up on meIt is my position that since this person continually reiterated that he didn't care if I paid the fee or not, and I asked him specifically if it was my prerogative and I kept getting the same answer, as I told the person on the phone, that I will be choosing not to pay the feeNot because this Platinum Parking representative was hostile, off putting, forgoing of any basic civility to the point of hanging up on me, it's the fact that he refused to give me any information on the 'notice', why it was there, what the fee was for, along with the representative's one response of he "didn't care if I paid the fee or not" is the reason I will not be paying a fee for something that has no basis.Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
your parking attendant never asked me I never received a call back
platinun parking has a clear bad history of ticketing people when it shouldn't have this is just another case to add to the list
Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Now that I know where this was with the attached pictures, and your explanation that it was *** (feeling a bit stalked), as I was there maybe -10 minutes max. Here are the facts. I WAS at ***. What you failed to see was that I ran to the ATM next door, got cash, THEN went to ***. Do people stay and watch every move and take pictures of the people too? Is there a policy about getting cash first to pay for your sandwich? I am only sorry that I did not keep a receipt from *** while I was there, but why would I ever think I needed to save that? Secondly, you say that the ticket was placed on my dash. I did not get it. If I had, this Revdex.com complaint would have been sent in June and not today. Again why I complained that I received a FINAL notice on a ticket never received in the first place. AND why would I have even thought I would get a ticket. I did nothing wrong. Please let me know what my next step is, because now it is more the principle of what is right and what is wrong, and the practices of this parking company. I am curious how many other people they have done this to
Sincerely,
*** ***

Ms. [redacted] received a parking notice from us for parking in a pay lot and not paying for parking.  The signs in the parking lot as well as the envelope we provided to Ms. [redacted] inform her of our rules that need to be followed which include our late payment charges.  Ms. [redacted]'s vehicle...

was issued the parking notice on January 11, 2017 and she finally attempted to pay it on March 29, 2017 which is well after the time we allowed and therefore she is responsible for payment including late fees.  Ms. [redacted] included a note along with her partial payment of $45.00 saying that if we cash the check we are agreeing to her partial payment offer.  We returned the partial payment check to Ms. [redacted] along with a letter explaining all of this.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:

Clearly the parking management uses this as an excuse to profit.  At the time of day I was parked there (after 7PM) there would not be a future resident parking there.  Legally they have a right to ticket me, but I reject...

this predatory action based on principal.  This has already gone to collection and this company clearly stands firm on their stance.  It is a black mark not only on the apartment complex that uses this management company and the management company itself.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Thank you for helping me in this situation.
This account of the company's actions is more detailed & speculative ("running out" & purchasing desert) than in previous accounts. I told the company, in writing, that my friend bought sandwiches, I used the restroom & bought desert after. Platinum Parking LLC seems to make mistakes, ex: the company routinely misspells my name ([redacted]); it was misspelled 3 times in their last note. If they cannot get a name correct isn't it reasonable to believe they could have made mistakes in other areas of this situation?
The company appears to be incented to write “tickets” without bearing any legal standards or erring on the side of caution. Actually, on the physical paper they left it's called a "parking notice" and in the above correspondence the company refers to the parking notice as a "ticket", which connotes to members of the public a legal authority the company does not have.
This company has a practice (documented via a Google search for "Platinum Parking LLC", on the Revdex.com's site, [redacted] [Aug 2014] and the [redacted] [Sept 2012 - where it agreed to cease issuing tickets] and others) that operates off of a shake down: pay $45 - $70 to avoid the fear of having one's credit rating being harmed by a collection agency. The company only communicates in writing via snail mail, which delays the conversation and resolution as well as increases stress on the victim.
These are parasitic tactics that need to stop!
I don't want this company harming me or others. Please advise on next steps.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Platinum Parking refused to acknowledge our payment because their only source of revenue is to ticket every single customer regardless of their payments. No one is willing to risk getting a $45 ticket for a $5 parking fee. The painted numbers on the parking spots are not easily readable and it should be the responsibility of Platinum Parking to make sure the numbers are legible. This business owner is running a scam ticketing unsuspecting customers and is getting away with a well-rehearsed scam. His $5 cash payment WAS placed in the slot, however this Business owner reverts to yelling and calling his customer a liar, threatening additional fees if anyone dare to question his authority.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I went ahead and wrote them a check for the extortion rate of $1350 an hour because I don't have any more time to waste shopping at small businesses.  But after disputing their extortion in writing they then charged me more even while I was disputing the charge, I guess because they are a self appointed quasi royal entity. They sent me a bill for $25 more just because I questioned their decision! I assume they are not a Revdex.com member, as they certainly don't reflect anything resembling " better". Sincerely,[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] received a parking notice from us for parking in a pay lot and she did not pay for parking.  There are numerous signs posted at the entrance to the lot as well as throughout the lot informing drivers that it is a pay lot and how to pay. After receiving the parking notice, Ms. [redacted] did...

not dispute her parking notice, she simply sent in a note along with her parking notice on Jan 04, 2017 stating that she will not be paying the parking notice and will be writing a letter to the Revdex.com,  but did not provide her name or return mailing address.  That is why she never got a response from us.

RE: ID #[redacted]; [redacted]Dear Revdex.com:
We are in receipt of your letter regarding the above referenced ID and our response is asfollows:Mr. [redacted] received a parking notice from us for parking somewhere that he shouldn’thave parked. He disputed the parking notice with us and we...

replied to his dispute on 01/14/16.We explained why we did not agree with his dispute and gave him a two week extension to makethe original payment. Mr. [redacted] called our office after the extension period expired and wantedto pay the original amount. We informed him that the extension period expired and now the latefee needed to be paid in addition to the original fine. He claimed he never got our response letterto his dispute. We informed him that our response letter has not been returned in the mail andtherefore cannot waive the late fee.
We understand that no one is happy to receive a parking notice. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call.

...   RE:  ID #[redacted]; [redacted]   Dear Revdex.com:               We are in receipt of your letter regarding the above referenced ID.               [redacted] parked in a paid parking lot in the University District and parked in stall #6.  They did not pay for parking in stall #6 at the pay box and were therefore issued a parking notice.   In their letter to the Revdex.com, [redacted] stated that they paid the correct slot number in the pay box for the stall number they parked in, yet in their correspondence to us (both written and verbal), they stated that they put the money in the wrong slot at the pay box, slot #8; and that because there was another car already parked in stall # 8, there should have been 2 payments for that slot number.  We informed them that there were not 2 payments made in slot #8. Additionally there was no payment made for stall #6 which was the stall they were parked in.  We are providing a picture of their car parked in stall #6 that evening.               [redacted] also stated that the pay box for that parking lot is cash only which is also inaccurate.  Parking may be paid by cash, personal check, or credit card by phone.  Those options and instructions are posted at the pay box.                             Sincerely,   Platinum Parking, LLC.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: See attached letter
We are in receipt of the response to our complaint from Platinum Parking LLC regarding the ticket issued to our vehicle while parked in our identified leased parking space.  Our complaint was initiated because we feel Platinum Parking has unfair business practices and an unfair dispute policy.  We pay $1,020 a year to lease this stall and to get ticketed for parking in our own space seems outrageous.  We aren’t disputing that the permit was not visible that day.  The permit issued by the landlord is not an adhesive permit that sticks to the rear window so loose permits are placed on the rear dash and can be accidently covered up by another item. I have seen the photo taken of my son’s rear dash and the permit was clearly covered that day by a piece of clothing.  It was not visible.   We opened up a dispute because it didn’t seem fair to pay this much for a spot and then get a ticket for parking in it! The argument is that before a garage clicker is issued to a resident, the lessee must provide the make, model, year, color and LICENSE PLATE # of the car identified to park in the spot.  Clearly, that information is available, if not to the parking attendant then to parking management to crosscheck the vehicle during a dispute process.  It is not clear to me under what circumstances a dispute is granted?  We have phoned the company several times asking for clarification and none received. Only a phone message indicating there is no flexibility. How simple would it be to issue an adhesive parking permit; one that could be displayed visibly 100% of the time.  Enough said, we ended up paying the $45 ticket.

We are in receipt of your letter regarding the above referenced ID and our response is asfollows:[redacted] son parks in a garage that we monitor in the University District in Seattle. That garage requires a parking permit to be displayed whenever parking in the garage. We havesigns posted in the...

garage informing vehicle operators that a parking permit is required and mustbe visibly displayed in the vehicle or would be subject to being issued a parking notice and/ortowed. These rules are not our rules; they are the rules of the management company. Themanagement company even puts those rules in the lease and is signed by the tenant of thebuilding. The management company even provides the parker with a parking permit to bedisplayed.[redacted] son was parked in the garage without the parking permit displayedanywhere in the vehicle. We provided her son a copy of the picture that our attendant took of thevehicle without the parking permit being displayed. (She may not have seen the picture that wetook of the vehicle.) Her son claims that the parking permit was displayed even though theevidence we provided shows otherwise.[redacted] son is required to display his parking permit whenever he is parked in thegarage. Those are the rules of the management company and those rules are posted
