Last month I subscribed to Playster's year service to get the tabletMy complaint against this company is the their Terms and Conditions where not disclosed before entering billing information or after submitting to approvalThe Return Policy was also not disclosed and difficult to search forI kept the device believing I had a month to try out the serviceI cancelled the service and sent them an email that I had cancelled and how should I return the tabletPlayster notified that they will send me an RMA and I will be charged a $Restocking fee, surprised of this policy, since it was no where to be found, I checked the Terms and Conditions for this information, it wasn't thereI emailed them back asking where in their Policy was it locatedIn their response was the information I requested, but that information was not included on the one they had on the websiteThis company gets subscribers under pretensesI have sent my package losing $which in my opinion is the cost of the tabletPlayster is operating dishonestly and should revise their refund policy and make it more accessible to their customers

Hello there! By the time this complaint had come through, we'd already resolved it with *** We're disappointed that we were not able to provide her with the solution she'd hoped for, but we also completely understand her position and would be more than happy to end her contract early and refund her initial charges.We've just sent her a return label so that she can return her Playster Combo Box, and once we receive it back in the warehouse we'll cancel her membershipThe issue [redacted] has raised is not affecting all customers, and is something that can be resolvedHowever, she told us that she'd like to cancel her contract anyway, and it's important to us that she's happy with the outcomeWe apologize to [redacted] for the unsatisfactory experience that she's had, and I'd encourage her to contact me personally on [redacted] if she has any problems returning her deviceKind regards,Colin S [redacted] Communications Manager, Playster

By the time Colin spoke with me, I had already been told by two different customer service reps that my issue could not be fixed and that they were sorry for the inconvenience but there was nothing they could do. Colin was the first person who mentioned being able to fix the problem and I was only contacted by him after sending many messages and letting them know I had contacted the BBB. Had someone simply told me at the beginning that they would work on fixing the problem, I would have been happy with that solution but I feel that the service I received from the first two reps was lacking as they offered to do nothing to help me. I very much appreciate Colin reaching out and helping me cancel my contract. He was polite and helpful and that was the first I experienced of that type of support from Playster. I have used the shipping label to return the tablet and headphones. I'm sure they will make sure the contract is cancelled as soon as those items are received. Sincerely, [redacted] ***

After starting the trial membership and finding out that the movie selection is poor, I tried to cancel the membership within the days However the site is buggy, and even though the cancellation was tried multiple times it apparently was never cancelled Then after contacting support it was finally cancelled However it was on the day it would start the paid membership, and they will not reverse the charge

Playster. We acted immediately by contacting the site owner and asking that they do not advertise our product in this way. At the time of writing, the page which referred to your book was no longer active. Playster is a streaming service so we don't actually deliver any PDF copies to members. We have the licensing rights to all of our content, and we can confirm that your book has never been available on Playster. If you feel we've not resolved this to your satisfaction, please let us know and we'll do anything we can to assist you further.

I had a very positive experience with Playster's customer support team when I was having problems logging into my account. They responded within 10 minutes and were very thorough in helping me with the problem. Playster doesn't have all of the books that I wanted to read, but the support agent was able to recommend me some similar ones that they do have. You can also search their collection before you sign up, so you know exactly what you're getting.

Last month I subscribed to Playster's 1 year service to get the tablet. My complaint against this company is the their Terms and Conditions where not disclosed before entering billing information or after submitting to approval. The Return Policy was also not disclosed and difficult to search for. I kept the device believing I had a month to try out the service. I cancelled the service and sent them an email that I had cancelled and how should I return the tablet. Playster notified that they will send me an RMA and I will be charged a $55 Restocking fee, surprised of this policy, since it was no where to be found, I checked the Terms and Conditions for this information, it wasn't there. I emailed them back asking where in their Policy was it located. In their response was the information I requested, but that information was not included on the one they had on the website. This company gets subscribers under false pretenses. I have sent my package losing $55 which in my opinion is the cost of the tablet. Playster is operating dishonestly and should revise their refund policy and make it more accessible to their customers.
