Thank you so much for the kind words! Customer Service and 100 % Satisfaction are just 2 our of guarantees! We appreciate you!

I have these guys on speed dial. they always come as soon as possible and are willing to work with my budget needs. All the techs have been very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain the situation to me.

Troy was great. Very satisfied with the service.

From the beginning J.J. made us feel comfortable. He listened to our vision and was excited to help us bring it to reality. A few times a long the way we had concerns about the technical things in our master bath remodel. J.J. explained how it would work and calmed our nerves producing incredible results. We gained a bathroom that far exceeds our expectations and we also gained a friend. J.J. is down to earth and easy to work with. We also worked with Kelly and Brittany in the office. They were excellent as well. Always answered our questions. And provided excellent customer service. What a great experience. We got 5 quotes and talked to numerous people and we definitely chose the right company.

The rapport created on this project has been truly rewarding. Thank you for taking time to share your experience through out the review sites. We stand by our work and most importantly, we stand by our guarantee of 100% customer satisfaction on every project. Thank you again for sharing!

They said they would give an estimate on fixing things before anything else but went right into diagnosing which cost $150 right off the bat. Also, my appointment was the first one after 11, they called me at 1130 to let me know they were going to call me 30 to 45 minutes out. They called me at 530pm saying 15 minutes. 6 hours is a little unreasonable when I just wanted them to tell me how much to fix things

Hey ***, I'm sorry you felt this visit was less then stellar for you. Upon review of the calls, you were advised the appointment was made with the technician to arrive AFTER 11am. In this industry, we stay away from exact arrival times; we're in the business with integrity and honesty, and promising false expectations would be 100% against this core valve. The 11:30 call was from our dispatch team UPDATING you on the technician's status but ensured that we had you on schedule for the day, and would still call with a heads up before the technicians arrival. It was in fact no cost to you for my technician, in a fully stocked, well marked, clean vehicle to show up to your door. Once the technician did the visually evaluation of the leaking shower head, he quickly discover a physical diagnosis was necessary, and advised you of the cost upfront. The leak was not visible or in plain view, and the removal of parts and/or drywall was necessary. I'm glad to read the repair was made and the shower was no longer leaking.

AND upon further review, I'm happy you still decided to call Plumbing Nerds out for a second visit, a month after this visit, to help you with a toilet installation!!! I hope to see we've changed you're mind about the 2 stars and hope to have gain you trust again.

Great job, fast and efficient!

plumbing nerds left my hot water valve dripping and did not turn off my cold water valve completely when removing my kitchen sink. my floor buckled...
plumbing nerds,(eco plumbers) came to my house to remove my kitchen sink and faucet and replace it after the counter was done. their representative left the hot water valve slowly dripping and did not even turn off the cold water valve completely. we repeatedly asked the technician if the valves were leaking and did they need to be replaced. their representative told us repeatedly that "the valves were not leaking". we did not realize the leaking until the floor started to buckle up. there was no water leaking before their representative came out to do the work. we immediately called plumbing nerds to report the leak. they sent out the same representative who quickly said it was not his fault. when I told him I wanted to call his boss I started to dial the phone and saw him backing out of the driveway. I had to run down the driveway to stop his service vehicle from driving away. we needed to stop the leaking immediately before things got any worse. of course he billed us. I called the president of plumbing nerds (john v.) and explained to him what happened. he agreed with us, it was ridiculous that we would have told their representative to not fix the valves if he told us they were leaking. to make a long story short. john v. repeatedly made appointments to come out and take a look at the damages. john v. never showed up to take a look at the damages which we always made sure we were home for. he then stopped taking any phone calls. the damages have cost us thousands of dollars which could have been avoided if the president, john v., had at least had his insurance people come out and review the situation. I called our charlotte county florida building department and found out that plumbing nerds, also known as eco plumbers, is not registered or insured in charlotte county since december 31, 2016.

Desired Outcome

we have repeatedly tried to work with plumbing nerds, also known as eco plumbers. they have refused to come out and take a look at any damages and then refused to respond to us at all. we are asking for plumbing nerds to make any and all repairs and remediation that their negligence caused due to the leaking of the hot water and cold water valves in the kitchen.

Plumbing Nerds Response • Mar 16, 2018

First I would like to apologize to Mr. for not being able to resolve this matter with you directly and for any miscommunication that may have happened.

We were called out on 7/5/17 to give pricing for worked needed by Mr.. At that time we gave him 3 options 2 of 3 containing replacement of the valve as described in complaint. Our technician explained to Mr. about potential issues if the old valve was not replaced including possibly leaking and he decided against that option due to cost constraints. Please refer to document 1,2 & 3 which will show all 3 options, his signature on the option with OUT the valve replacement. Also document 4 shows the overall work order detail showing all 3 options given on the same day and time.

On 7/19/17, 14 days late Mr *** called us about the leak. When we arrived to his home our technician showed Mr. the reason the valve failed which was because of it's age and condition. At that time Mr. acknowledged that was the issue and paid us full for the new valve replacement. Please refer to document 5 to show the work order showing the overall job and document 7 an expanded copy of the work order showing the notes from my office manager noting all of the above statement. Finally refer to document #7 for a signed copy of the invoice.

On 8/14/17, 25 days later we received another call from Mr. saying that his wood floor was buckling from what he suspected was from the leak. When we arrived the technician spent 2 hr & 37 min onsite and could not locate any active leaks. He did note there was obvious signs that there was a leak at some point but was not able to determine a source.

Shortly after the 3rd trip I have personally spoke to Mr. a couple times. He has made the accusation that our technician left the valve on and that's why his floor is ruined. I don't believe this to be true because from the beginning he was informed the valve was old and may go bad and gave him 3 options 3 that included replacing this valve. When we can back to second time not only did he not mention anything about the valve being left open he was shown the bad valve and paid to have it replaced.

I tried many times to resolve this matter with him directly including offering a partial refund of the plumbing costs. He countered my offer with wanting us to send a crew of plumbers to his home to pull the flooring up. From what he explained, he wanted us to do this because his existing floor was installed improperly which was making it very difficult for him to do himself. I explained to him that flooring was not our expertise and we are not state licensed in that area like we are in plumbing. I also felt like that kind of job would make matters worse because of the lack of experience from anyone on my team.

I would also like to address the fact that we haven't been registered in Charlotte County from 2016-present because we haven't performed any work in that county that requires a permit since 2016. The work performed at Mr. home doesn't require a permit. We currently only do 1% of our total business in Charlotte county specifically for Angie's List members that buy our discounted "Big Deal"

I would still like to resolve this with Mr. and willing to refund him for half of the costs paid for our plumbing services. I hope this shows good will on my part and hope this is excepted and we can put this matter behind us.

Thanks you for your time.

Sincerely,

John ***
Owner

the president of plumbing nerds has made many accusations that I am responsible for the leaking of the pipes to be my fault. there was never any leak prior to plumbing nerds coming out and removing the sink and faucets. the last time I spoke with mr.v. was 8/17/2017, he told me he would come by monday and take a look at the damages. he never came to the house once during any of these issues. mr. v. said he would call back in 20 minutes to recommend a name of a remediation company. he didnt call back until 9:30 pm when it was to late to call a remediation company. there have been no other discussions with him after that. he has never forwarded any information too us regarding his many documents besides reciepts. on 7/14/17 we first noticed the floor was buckling up from the leak, we immediately called plumbing nerds to come out, the cold water valve dripped slowly due to abel not turning it all the way off and the hot valve also leaked very slowly. we didnt know about the leak till the floor started to buckle. on 7/14/17 the plumber *** did not show us where the leak was coming from, we showed him. we had put pots under the hot and cold water valves to catch the leak and turned the cold water valve all the way off which stopped the leaking.once again when we asked abel if the valves were leaking on 7/5/17 he had said they were not leaking. once again, who in the world would say "dont fix replace the leaking valves and let them leak. first abel said he did not remember recall that my wife and I asked if the shut off valves were leaking and then changed his story and falsely said he told my wife and I that the valves were leaking. for paying for the valve replacements, mr a. said he would only fix them if I paid another $158.44.
when I told mr. a. I wanted to call his boss he went outside and got in his truck and started to drive down the driveway. it was lucky I saw him driving down the driveway. I had to hang up the call to his boss and chase after him to get him to put the new valves in. I didnt have a choice to allow his leak to keep going. on 8/14/17 we called back because the floor was still bucking. this time mr.m. came out and said he couldnt find an active leak but there had definitely been one at some point. he also said that the sink mr a. put put in was never properly sealed. once again on 8/17/17 mr v. says when abel came out I never mentioned anything about the cold valve being left open and the bad hot water valve. I found the leaks, called them, and told abel what the problem was before he walked through the front door. I have no idea where mr v. comes up with me having the existing floor installed improperly. when water leaks under a wood floor it will buckle, period. and to put to rest this issue about plumbing nerds not needing to be registered in charlotte county, to because they do less than one percent of their work in charlotte county according to tom A. (the licensce investigator) in charlotte county building department, plumbing nerds need to be registered in the county even if they do not pull a permit. they need to have insurance and they need to have workers comp. his county phone number is 941-743-***. mr. v. has not responded back to me at all since aug 17th. on 8/16/17 at 10:30 his employee nate called me and stated mr.v. agreed toto remove the mold caused by the leaking. later in the day, nate relayed to me that the owner, john v., would not take responsibility for damages. mr has not apologized nor made any contact with me as he states in his response . he certainly has not at any time made any proposal to me to refund me half of the costs paid for his plumbing service. I am very happy to point out. 1. he states I chose to let my valves leak instead of replacing them. on 8/17/2017 at 2:45 I spoke with mr. v. and he agreed that it was ridiculous for mr. a. to claim that he told my wife and I that the shut-off valves were leaking and we told him not fix them. last but certainly not least. on 8/18/17 we had to have i-mold.us come out and check for spores which were found at at a high level. just that inspection was 350.00 dollars. the Revdex.com may feel free to contact me regarding any questions. thank you very much
