We are sorry for this issue that has caused stress and feelings on both sides Our employee tried several different entry points before he was able to access the problem He ran the washer as instructed and it drained We stand by our hours, we stand by the integrity of our employee, and we stand by his representation Plumbing is often a crisis situation We were timely in getting to the job, and he gave it his best effort Were glad that the next plumber was able to resolve what we started Paying nothing for someones labor even if the desired result was not achieved is not a reasonable solution Sewer work is Never done on a contigency basis We will offer to take $off of this delinquent bill in an effort to resolve this and go our own ways, but if it is not paid within another days we will ask a judge in small claims court to resolve it for us Thank you,Plumbing Plus

To Whom It May Concern: We provided service for Mr [redacted] on 3/9/ It was reported that there was a leak from the toilet and our technician investigated Our technician advised the customer that the toilet was rocking and the first step would be to replace the wax ring in order to determine if the leak was coming from the wax ring or the 3" that was pressed against a joist The technician advised that more then likely additional repairs involving the pipe against the joist would need to be repaired along with replacing the flange on the existing toilet in order to fully resolve the leaking.On 3/10/Robert [redacted] (son of homeowner) called and said that toilet was rocking it was explained to him that recommendations were made by our technician to properly resolve the issue The secretary advised that we would be happy to send someone back over to explain it again but there was not much else that could be done if we did not have approval from Mr [redacted] to make the proper repairs At this point [redacted] (Son of the homeowner) stated that he had two more Plumbers coming to the property to look at the issue and give an estimate It was again explained that we could come back out, at this point the flange would need to be repaired in order to resolve the rockingRecommendations and estimate are clearly noted on the signed invoiceShortly after speaking with [redacted] his father Mr [redacted] called in and was irate with the secretary She explained again that we would send someone out but his son [redacted] already said he had someone else coming to give him a price Mr [redacted] was screaming and hung up so no resolution was foundIf Mr [redacted] would like for us to come back out to repair his rocking/leaking toilet we would be more then happy to do so He needs to review the recommendations noted on the invoice (these were also explained in detail on 3/9/by the technician) and it needs to be understood that the issue with the toilet that he is having has nothing to do with it not being seated properlyIf the homeowner would like the proper repairs to be made as noted on the paperwork they are free to contact us to make arrangements If they need further explanation of why the wax ring was changed and why the toilet is rocking they can call and speak with a Plumber At this point the flange needs to be replaced and the pipe located against the joist needs to be repaired in order to resolve the issues entirely Please refer to mechanics invoice for estimate amountWe apologize for any confusion as we take pride in providing reliable quality service and hope that the homeowner decides to have the recommended repairs made in order to resolve the issues they are experiencingThank You, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Contrary to the reply from MrVickers, let me state that I am NOT satisfied with the outcomeMrVickers still owes me $for materialsI have a printed estimate from [redacted] with all the materials and the total comes to $He charged me $I understand that contractors sometimes charge 10% to 20% for gas but NOT 100% [redacted] will deliver FREE of charge if the materials are over $ [redacted] also has a 5% discount for all " [redacted] " card holders I had no idea that MrVickers charged over $an hour, he did NOT give me a price, his excuse was that he did not know what he would be getting into MrVickers also used my tools to remove the flooringAfter chiseling at the floor for an hour or so, I offered him my "multimaster" to use to make things easier, which is an electric tool with a inch wide (chisel-like) bladeHe stated that he had a tool just like that but left it at home and continued to use mineAfter removing less than 1/of the floor he called it a day and said he would bring his son to help him the next dayAs for the baseboard, I never would have needed if he hadn't tore the old offHe wanted to replace the electric switches with new ones that he described would "look so much better"I asked if he would have to turn the electric off and he said "not me, I know the right wires to touch" so I agreedWhile installing the new switches my breaker tripped times and they lost electric in the bathroomHis son asked where the electric panel was and I showed himHe tried to reset it but still no electric, than I showed him where the reset switch was on the receptacale (red button), I pushed that and they had electricAs for shelving, it was nothing more than two plank boards I had put above my washer & dryerAs for the mirror frame, all they did was cut a piece of molding and secure it around my mirror with caulk adhesive and about a half dozen nailsI had puttied and sanded all holes in the drywall prior to their arrival so they could paintI think what he is talking about "patching holes" are the nicks they put in the wall after painting that I noticed and had him fixHe wanted to remove all towel bars, but did NOT have a small screw-driver so he used mineI have no idea what bolts he is talking aboutI asked the son (***) to help me hang the shower curtain because he is taller than I am, it took about minMrVickers left and the son handed me the bill, I told him I thought it was to much but paid it anywayThe son said to write the check out to him ( [redacted] Vickers)MrVickers (Dick) is a senior collecting SS and can NOT make to much money a yearThe next day I noticed smudge marks all over the floor where someone stepped in caulk and it was everywhere they had walkedI tried to use GooGone to remove it but it was still visible so I called MrVickers, no answerI tried to call ***, no answerThen I called Dick's wife and finally got an answer, they were on there way to Oklahoma because her mother was sick, so I mentioned that [redacted] could come over and remove itThe next day [redacted] came over with a razor blade and tried to scrape it off, than he used my nail polish remover which seemed to work better but I ran out of remover and couldn't get it allAbout a week later Dick came over with acetone and removed the restI told him about the price being to high and he said "we get the same complaint from everyone we do work for" and I told him "then there is a problem"He said he would talk to [redacted] about it, and I never heard from him againThe old baseboard was left in my driveway, with the nails up, so a friend of mine took it to a FREE waste disposal site in MTSydney about miles away Curious about the shabby work, I decided to contact the DPOR in Richmond, VA to check on the card [redacted] gave me Plumbing Plus LLC/ [redacted] Vickers, Grottoes, VA ###-###-####/Plumbing, Electrical & Home Improvements ServicesCome to find out, he has NO electrical licenseHummmm!

Received service from this companyThe Tech was very professional and knowledgeable of the item being repairThe repair was finished in a timely manner and I have very satisfied with the results of the repair

possible We were referred this job by a contractor who we have done quite a bit of work for in the past for himself or people he has referred us to This customer in question was having a issue with a plugged sewer We never give a guarantee that by augering a sewer line it will positively solve all problemsWe don't work on a contigency basis, nor does any plumber in our area, there are way to many factors we have no control over ietree roots, collapsed lines, etc, We give it our very best effort to solve their issues and of course that is in our best interest as well as the customer In this case our plumber traveled to the job, which is minutes from our shop and proceeded to auger the line in three different areas and it did finally drain after spending hours of effort The customer called back a day later and said they were having problems again and our plumber explained to him he would be happy to go and try it again, but also let him know what he owed from the previous day of work The customer got angry and told us he was sorry he ever did business with usThe clog had obviously traveled down the pipe and would likely have been possible to push through with another shot at it after some activity in his systemWe do charge a weekend rate as do any plumbers in our area that work on their nights or weekends If this customer would have been reasonable and willing, we would have come to the location again and given it another push and would have been successful just as the next plumber He had to pay the next plumber just as he would've paid us and that plumber was able to build on the hours and work we had previously done Of course it is no advantage to our company to have unhappy customers or a reputation that we don't do good work As with anyone in business there are always some people who are more difficult to deal with when circumstances are not going there way than others, but we are always honest in our dealings and try to be pleasant and reasonable I hope this helps in your assessment of this conflict Please let me know if you need any thing further Thank you,Plumbing PlusDeirdre C***P.OBox 675Ralston, WY 82440*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: Plumbing Plus continues to imply that they did a good job and are not telling the whole storyThe only one there was the serviceman, myself,the renter, and on Monday another plumber and my adult sonThey continue to say we should pay for a job and I would not mind if it was completed like the serviceman told me it wasHe is not being truthful when he stated it was fixed and I believe he did not run water for an hourI will send pictures of the area and pictures that the renter took after he left of the pipes leaking when she got home from workThey are date stamped and there is only 6-feet from the toilet and washer to where the clog wasHe even told me he thought it was there when he arrivedI will send pictures of under the sink and how he could not of snaked from thereThe other plumber also stated he did not do thatI told him about running the washer and still believe he could not of ran it after he said he fixed it or he would of had the same results as the renterShe has some input that might be helpful and my son who is a contractor from Oregon and visiting at the time was also there on Monday with meHe also took some pictures on his phonePlumbing Plus also calls us difficult customers and that her serviceman was pleasant which he was notHe never stated he would be happy to come outH was on his way out of town and I informed him I was leaving on Tuesday for a weddingOur renter was a single women and was forced to not have a bathroom or use her house because of this situationI would like to know how they would feel if that was herI was extremely disappointed and feel that they were not honest or reasonableMy wife and I are seniors and I work for the newspaper in *** and ***My wife works at the senior center and we feel your lack of professionalism will not help your reputation if we have anything to say about itWe are willing to stand our ground unless they are willing to admit their mistakes and make this right.

I had plumbing plus to come and make a repair on my washing machine spicket the plumber make a cut to the wall and damaged a adjacent wall he cut thru the sheet rock of the adjacent wall I have reached out to the business and they have not returned the calls
