Thank you for making us aware of the issue We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction One of the ways we strive to offer our customers the best possible experience is by clearly stating all our policies in the Terms of Service that customers read and
agree to before creating their accounts
As we state in our published terms of service that all users must read and agree to before they begin using the website: All item descriptions and photos are thought to be accurate, but are not guaranteedIn cases, where a description or photo is inaccurate, In cases, where a description or photo is inaccurate, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund upon return of the item, not including original outbound shipping chargesPoliceAuctions.com does not refund original outbound or return shipping under any circumstances, so please factor that into your bidding and buying strategiesPoliceAuctions.com is not required to send an item to the customer that the customer won through auction when the physical item does not match the descriptionIn such cases, the sale is null and void and PoliceAuctions.com shall refund the amount paid by the customer for the item to the customerIn no event shall PoliceAuctions.com assume any liability for the item that is beyond the amount paid by the customer to PoliceAuctions.comPoliceAuctions.com does not provide substitute items when there is a problem with the item matching descriptionReturn Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns, so call to make arrangements before sending items backWe also highly recommend sending items individually, insured, with signature required for proof of delivery as we are not responsible for lost or stolen itemsPoliceAuctions.com does not pay for return shippingAll items must be returned within days of issue of RMA or no refund is due

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[ When I signed up for Policeauctions.com I used a unique email address, one which was to be used solely and uniquely with PoliceAuctions.com.  The catalyst for my contact with PoliceAuctions.com was the receipt of an email from a third party which used this email address for contact.   There is only one location in the world where this email address exists and that is in the customer database for PoliceAuctions.com.Further clarification on how I can use an email address for sign up which does not exist as an actual email address on the destinaction email server:  The domain where the email address is owned and managed by myself as a personal domain.  The email system is setup to take all incoming email and post it to a default email address.  This allows me to create unique email addresses for sign up with any website where I do business and not have to create a corresponding actual email account on the destination domain.  So, PoliceAuctions.com has a unique email address used as part of my account sign up.  That email address is uniquely traceable to that website, which is why I was able to identify the source of the email address and contact them directly. This leaves two possibilities. (1) The customer account data has been sold by Policeauctions.com to third parties for use as part of email solicitations.  (2) The customer email account data was pillaged from servers owned and managed by policeauctions.com.Policeauctions.com may clarify this by stating their policy related to the sale of their customer data and whether such customer data containing my customer record has been sold in the past.   If the answer is No to either question then a breach of customer data for Policeauctions.com has taken place. As an IT professional I am seeking to help bring this issue to the attention of appropriate parties where I have identified this issue for policeauctions.com.  I have no security services to sell.  I have no product to sell.  I have seen this issue before at other companies where I have had unique email addresses traceable to the source website.]

Regards,[redacted] Police Auction.com says they would only send back  the full amount  paid  wihtin 7 days of receiving the customer receiving the merchandise "minus" restocking fees  .I want my Money back that I paid out to them plus an agreement that I would get the value in which they are proclaiming is the Buy Direct Price (BDP) otherwise, they will continue to deceive people and many will continue to Bid under false pretense..Also they should rid themselves of the Name PoliceAuction.com because this Auction has nothing to do with the Police or Government. It is Totally deceiving..
PoliceAuction.com statement: For items purchased directly through the PoliceAuctions.com website, the company offers a 100% money back guarantee (minus 15% restocking fee) on every item with a 7 day return policy....If you look at their testimonials, many of them are the same people over and over again who proclaimed to be satisfied with the product...I feel that PoliceAuction, com a scam and people should know about them.

All items must be returned within 15 days of issue of RMA or no refund is due.We do our best to be available to our customers both through the support system on the website and over the phone via our toll free 800 number.  But, Depending on the call volume sometimes we need to use place customers on hold.  Though in waiting on hold for ten minutes is extremely rare, and would represent a large call volume at the time that a customer called.  When customers are placed on a hold our friendly and professional customer support staff will get through the calls as quickly they can and in the order the calls came in.Thank you again for making us aware of the issue.  We look forward to getting the item back so we can refund the customer.

possession.  As we state in our published terms of service in cases where a customer feels an item does not match the description or photo of an item they are entitled to a full refund including original outbound shipping.
The description for the item in question clearly stated the item was gold clad.  The exact description of the item form the website is: Collectors Uncirculated 24K Gold Clad One Troy
Ounce Commemorative Coin - German Imperial Bank 1871.  As we state on every auction on the website: Please note that gold clad bars and coins are not solid gold and consist mainly of a base of either brass or copper or an alloy. Gold content of all gold clad bars and coins is minimal. Gold clad bars and coins are meant for collectible purposes and are not recommended for investment purposes. Gold clad bars and coins are non-monetary.  We do our best to make sure that gold clad and gold plated items are clearly described so that customers do not mistakenly bid on these items thinking that the items are made of solid gold.  If the customer did not see that the item was gold clad in the description of the item despite our full disclosure we would be more than happy to fully refund the customer for the item.
The customer was only charged once for the item when the customer was checking out they attempted the transaction twice before the payment was able to be completed.  The first two attempts the customer made to pay for the item were rejected due to the fact that CSC number the customer gave us for the card did not match what their card issuer has on file.  We can not take a payment if the card issuer does not verify the three digit security code the customer supplies.  The customer could have simply mis-typed the code number but for security purposes and the prevention of credit card fraud we can not accept payment unless the card issuer verifies that the customer has given us the correct security code.  Any duplicate payments the customer would have seen would have been the reject authorizations that were rejected due to the mismatching.
The customer has already contacted our friendly customer support team and been issued a return authorizations for the item.  The customer will be receive a full refund for the item including original outbound shipping once the item is in our possession.
Thank you again for letting us know about this issue.

Thank you for making us aware of the issue.  We always strive for 100% Customer Satisfaction. When items are lost in transit, or if a package arrives empty, we have a claim procedure in place in order to insure that our customers can be fully refunded. The first step of the claim process...

is that customers fill out a claim form.  All we will need is the customer to sign and the date the form for our records.  Once we have the signed form back in our possession there is nothing left for customers to do. The claim process takes ten days, from the date we receive the claim form back from the customer.  If the shipper is not able to find and deliver the item after the ten day period we will issue you a full refund for the item including original outbound shipping. We also have a short video on our Lost/ Missing package procedures for our customers to watch: [redacted] As we state in our Terms of Service: Users must cooperate with any claim procedures. In this case the customer has already been sent the claim form, via email, on 10/6/2016. If customers do not return the form the first day the form will be sent again the next two days, in this case the form was also sent on 10/7/16, and 10/8/16. At this time we are simply waiting to get the form back from the customer so we can begin the claim process.  In order to best service the customer we will also be placing a copy of the claim form in the mail today in case the customer can not locate any of the emails that were previously sent. We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction.  And we look forward to having the claim form returned to us so we can begin the claim process and either get the customer’s item delivered or get the customer fully refunded.

Thank you for making us aware of the issue. As we state the in the terms of service on the website and on every auction on the website:  BDP is an asking price, not a value. No value is implied by BDP or any fraction thereof. In general, we do not comment on any values of any items because...

values are too subjective. The BDP is an alternate way for a customer to purchase an item.  By click on the BDP a customer can bypass the auction and purchase the item flat out.  The BDP is not an appraisal.Whenever a customer feels an item does not match the picture or description, we always take the customers side.  In this case the customer was issued return authorizations for the items on the 23rd of February, and the customer was also informed at this time that they would be receiving full refunds for the items in question.  At this time the items have not been returned to us, but as soon as they are the customer will be full refunded as we have already promised. As we state in our Terms of Service, which customers agree to at the time they create their accounts: All item descriptions and photos are thought to be accurate, but are not guaranteed. In cases, where a description or photo is inaccurate, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund upon return of the item, including original outbound shipping charges. Thank you for contacting us in regards to this issue.  This customer contacted our friendly
Customer Support Team on 9/15/2014 at which time our proactive Support Team was
able to issue the customer RMA numbers so this customer could return the items
and get a full refund.
Our published return policy states that returns must be
requested within 7 days of the customer receiving the items.  All of the items the customer is
returning were delivered 9 to 11 months ago.  The published return policy also states that there is a 15%
restocking fee that is applicable to all returns and that we do not refund any
of the shipping charges.  In this
case the customer will be issued full refunds including original outbound
shipping for all the items.  We
always strive for one hundred percent customer satisfaction regardless of their
situation and stand by our customers one hundred percent.
The description of the items on the website are
accurate.  Gold clad items are not
solid gold.  On every auction on
the website we state that: Please note
that gold clad bars and coins are not solid gold and consist mainly of a base
of either brass or copper or an alloy. Gold content of all gold clad bars and
coins is minimal. Gold clad bars and coins are meant for collectible purposes
and are not recommended for investment purposes. Gold clad bars and coins are
non-monetary.
We do not post any appraisal values on the website the price
the customer is referring to is the Buy Direct Price.  The Buy Direct Price allows customers to click on the BDP
link to purchase a duplicate item to the one being auctioned for the Buy Direct
price. On every auction on the website we state that: BDP is an asking price, not a value. No value is implied by BDP or any
fraction thereof. In general, we do not comment on any values of any items
because values are too subjective.
We also disclose on every one-dollar no reserve auction on
the website that: This auction is a
wholesale liquidation auction (Non-Government).  We do have a listing of police and government auctions going
on throughout the country that our upgraded members can search through quickly
and conveniently by their zip code.
Pulling the auctions up in order of what is nearest to them to what is
furthest away.  This listing of
police and government auctions is why the website is called PoliceAuctions.com.
We have authorized the return of all the items the customer
has purchased from PoliceAuctions.com.
Once the items are back in our possession we will issue refunds for the
items within five business days.
We will be issuing full refunds, including original outbound shipping.

Thank you for making us aware of the issue.  We always strive for 100% customer
satisfaction.  In this case it
appears there was some miscommunication between the customer and our friendly
customer support personnel.  The
customer was issued return authorizations for the items, and the fifteen
percent restocking fee did apply to the returns.  This is because the notes our customer support professional
entered simply stated that the customer was unhappy with the items.  There is no reference to any discrepancies
with the descriptions in the original return authorizations.
After being made aware of the issue, we have adjusted the
returns authorizations accordingly and the customer will be issued a full
refund for the items in question.
The full refund will include original outbound shipping charges and the
customer will not be charged any restocking fees.
Regardless of what an anonymous third party said about the
items we always stand by our customer.
Whenever a customer feels the item does not match the description we are
happy to have the items returned and issue the customer a 100% refund.  As we state in the Terms of Service: All item descriptions and photos are thought
to be accurate, but are not guaranteed. In cases, where a description or photo
is inaccurate, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund upon return of
the item, including original outbound shipping charges.
The email with the return instructions was sent out on the 3rd
of March.  The email was sent to
the same email address the customer used to create their PoliceAuctions.com
user account.  Depending on the
settings of the customer’s email account the email may have been diverted to
the Spam or Junk inboxes of their email account.  We have also re-sent the email with the return instructions
today.  If the customer still has
not received the return instructions and the return authorization numbers we
would suggest that they call customer support so we can get them the
information right over the phone.
Our friendly customer support team can be reached at 877 677 3040
between 8 am and 4 pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
Thank you again for getting in touch with us about this
issue.  We look forward to the
items being returned to us, so we can get the customer fully refunded.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
I did speak to the company on Sept 15 after speaking to my Dad about the money he lost.  My parents are on disability and Medicaid.  My father has Dementia, Parkinson, History of stroke, MI, Handicapped (from being hit head on by drunk driver) and multiple other co-morbitites.  He spends his evenings on the computer, trying to make himself usefull.  He though he was helping my family by trying to get ahead.
My mother said they shipped each box separarely, so his shipping bills was very high.  I just found out about this and am very upset this company is allowed to rob (older citizens of their hard work and retirement). They are co-operating with me now...I sat down trying to find every coin, piece of jewelry. Some of the item are so tiny I could not see the date through a jewler magifying glass. I have been up for 48 hrs straight.
I sent the items (that my father CAN REMEMBER where he put them at.  HE HAS DEMENTIA.....HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING FROM ONE DAY TO ANOTHER!!!!!).
I spent 180.00 dollars sending all of the stuff back.  It is sign on delivery and insured as he told me over and over again. I have read the complaints on your site: all are the same complaints.  People trying to protect their family.  It will be delivered on Thursday.  We will see what we get back.  I WANT ALL MONEY FOR ITEMS RETURNED AND REIMBURSMENT FOR SHIPPING.

We had a [redacted] police office at our house: he also found the sight confusing and misleading.  I feel it is a same this company has been allowed to do this and the Revdex.com knows about it.  My family can not afford meds....but was mislead by a firm that is dishonest.  I have promised myself that I will get the word around about this company.
Any questions: do not hesitate to call m e.
[redacted]

Thsee auctions are a total scam. I bid on a troy oz of .999 fine gold. When actually there was .0000 gold in or even plating the oz of whatever it was. It was very magnetic (which Real gold is not) completely fraudulous advertising.
