A good company recommended to me by a neighbour They do a great job and want the customer to be satisfied I like the fact it is easy to get in touch with the owner and he will call you back promptly Both father and son work there so you know they take pride in their work They charge fair prices for a job well done

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

Per our last conversation I told you me and the customer worked it out

The complaint by my customer is on a hair line crackI told the customer if the crack opens up and becomes a structural crack we would take care of it as we give a three year warranty on the concreteThe problem with concrete is that when it cures it shrinks and when it shrinks it pull apart and
we hope it cracks in the deep joints we install for expansion but some times it crackswere it is going to crack we can not control hair line concrete cracks.*** ***Pool Solutions***

I am rejecting this response because:  The attached shows crack now developing to the right of the original crack. The original crack now has chips/pieces missing from crack line.  The attached picture was taken a couple of months or so ago, so it doesn't show the chips/pieces missing.  I'm willing to get my own inspector to come and determine if this crack is a structure issue or a simple stress crack but if it is determined a structure issue, I will then put the bill on Pool Solution to reimburse.  I understand there are simple stress cracks that can occur but it's a fine line between structure issue and stress cracks. Cracks that extend all the way through can eventually erode or cause issues with sub-base.  They will let in water, weather and freezing and thawing cycles will ultimately find the weak points in the concrete and create further deterioration or issues.  This crack is right above the waterfall and is not getting better but worse.  If Pool Solutions wants to wait and see if more damage is caused, then I would like this issue to remain open with Revdex.com until determination of crack is absolutely not an issue.

I have recently used this new business to install a pool liner as I received a flyer on my doorstep early april. I thought it would be great idea to give a my business to someone local...I am sorry I made this decision.

I spoke with Hank (owner) on the phone and discussed the all in pricing for installation of a pool liner and I asked if he would open my pool for free if I gave him the liner installation job. He agreed. He sent me a quote for just the liner installation and liner price. This was supposed to be a one time come/install and done. It took them 4-5 weeks to complete. They damaged parts on the pool and tried to upsell me the parts, he marked the liner up by at least 30% on the sale.

Let me get into more detail so you can understand.

His workers proceeded to install the liner april 18th, it took them one day to put it in...they came back later and said the liner was damaged, another week or two goes by and the owner called me and suggested to keep the damaged liner and he would fix the problem...then I would get to keep a spare liner in my garage for the next time I needed it but it wouldnt be warrentied?? After I declined his offer to keep the damaged liner, he sent his guys to reinstall new liner approx a week later, which completely fell down on half side of the pool after we started filling the pool. I informed the owner. I was then told that my pool (which is 5 years old) had old copings (which holds the liner in and were perfectly fine with the first liner they installed and the previous liner when the pool was purchased), they replaced the coping and the new liner approx a week later. The charge went on the bill was for 9.26 per each coping, I was charged for 14. The price at the local pool shop is 1.25-1.99 max for each coping, thats more than a 400% mark up?? After the pool was filled again (which I am out the money for the water charges), they then came a couple days later to do pool opening. Which took them another 4 visits to get done correctly. All this added up to 4-5 weeks-ish for a one day job. Hank (the owner) said he would take 120.00 off for all the trouble we went through but then did not admit that he offered the free pool opening in the quote..he then states'" you should have got the liner and work done from someone else if you wanted a better price". All in all, it took this company 4-5 weeks-ish to install a liner properly and I ended up paying ridiculous prices for parts. He installed a new skimmer, which was not needed, copings that were the fault of his workers and charged an extra 30% on the liner. He finally agreed to take the ridiculous coping charge off the bill and he did say that he would take 120.00 off for the ridiculous amount of time and trips it took to get this done, but then he states that he needs to charge 120.00 for pool opening and then deducted it????? Basically I feel ripped off again. Lastly his math on the bill was way off and included approx 150.00 of charges not documented on bill. After my girlfriend discussed again and again that we do not agree with prices on bill, he basically said that he is only taking the charge for coping off because we are still complaining.

Hank just sent me the revised bill (with the copings off) and I just paid, but it is now my right to post this for others to see what I went through...all he would have had to do to please us is charge the actual costs of parts...in the end, you cant sell a hungry person a meal for twice the price, its just not ethical!

We were looking for a local pool company to do all our odd and ends with the pool. Sorry Hank, but you have lost our business for not taking off the 30% surplus on the liner and the $120 you said you would remove due to the lack of competence, which equals a total of $230-ish for dishonesty, thats a price you will have to live with.

I would get everything written on paper and also check pricing and work to comply with satisfaction.

Waiting on plaster date from plaster company. Home owner has contacted plaster company already and k owns they are a few weeks out

I called Hank of pool solutions in a mad panic, never having met this gentleman before, he listened to me regarding my panic mode and what I thought was a huge problem with my pool liner. He calmed me down and assured me that he would have one of his technicians out immediately to diagnose and remedy the problem. Within one hour Hank followed through on his comitment with me, a complete stranger to him, he remedied my problem and even suggested the least expensive yet most effective way to handle my bulging liner. He is not about money he is about helping people and reacting as if it was his own pool. He now has a lifetime customer in me and I would definitely recommend his expert services to anyone with a pool - thanks Hank:)

I have had Hank service and close my pool for the past 4 years and he has done a fantastic job. He is super friendly and hard working and goes over and beyond for his clients. Just before I learned of Hanks services I had another company come in to do some leak detection work. Had I known of Hank's service I would have saved even more money as his rates for this service are lower than those of the larger companies in the area ([redacted]) If you need someone to maintain your pool, whether it is an opening, closing, liner installation, Hank is your guy!
