Louis- So sorry that you are having trouble balancing your water this year, at times it can be tricky and there could be several issues to check to try and identify the problem. We do test water and give advise on what to do step by step, sometimes that is not as easy over the phone. Our Manager of this store is Addam, and if he is not in Mike is there to help customers with any issues. Our Owner has also been in the business for 30+ years and can be reached at ***, I am sure that he can help over the phone and give you advise on what to check first and next, feel free to reach out to him between the hours of 6AM and Midnight as he will be dialed in and ready to help! Again, sorry you are having trouble balancing your water this year.

Thank you the young man I spoke to made it sound like the buck stopped with him and there where was no one else to talk to. I even asked to speak to someone in charge and was told there wasnt anyone else. So it was his customer service that prompted this complaint. Again thanks for the info about Adam that would of solved the whole thing.

Make sure to ask for John D! We had a GREAT experience with everyone! John was very transparent about the process and helped us design the pool of our dreams!
We started our process at the end of February and our pool was completed the weekend before Memorial Day. Going into it everyone was very transparent about the process and the time it can take (weather permitting!). Dennis our contractor was very informative and kept us informed of every step and what we should expect

We paid for a service call and and did not receive the requested service.
We contacted Pool and Spa Depot in the second week of April 2020 regarding a tear in our pool liner. We were told the technician would not be able to come out until the end of May. I received a message that the technician would be here 05/22/20. We waited until the end of the day but the technician never showed up. When we called to find out where the technician was we were told there was a glitch in the system and the technician was not supposed to be there until 05/25/20. The technician came on 05/25/20 and told us to drain the pool and take a picture of the problem and send it to him. He never even got into the pool. We drained the pool and sent a picture to the technician but have had no correspondence from the company via telephone or otherwise. It costs us over $600.00 to fill the pool. When the liner was initially installed last year we had to fill the pool and then drain it because the installer had to fix some wrinkles. This is twice we had to drain and refill our pool due to mistakes by Pool and Spa Depot. Multiple calls have been made to the Clarksville office with no response. We have made multiple attempts to contact the company to include the parent company in Nashville TN. Our calls are being unanswered by the Clarksville office and an email sent to the main office in Nashville TN has not been responded to. This is unacceptable. We paid $142.35 for the service call and over $3,000.00 for a pool liner that was used less than 1 full summer.

Desired Outcome

We would like at least a partial refund on the liner and a full refund of the service call.

Pool & Spa Depot - Clarksville Response • Jul 30, 2020

We sincerely apologize for the actions that prompted this complaint. During our internal investigation we identified that a service call should not have been charged and have since reached out to the customer and refunded the amount charged for that call.

Based on the images of the liner that were provided by the customer, the liner would not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

We wanted resolution to the service call that we did not feel was handled appropriately.

Bought above ground pool in the summer, lots of issues most resolved. But I think if I was to buy another it would be somewhere else

Requesting refund for the installation cost of a broken part
Problem date 24 Aug 19, purchase date 5 Jul 19, Mineral System, $400.00. A mineral system was installed with our pool 31 Jul 19. Pool& Spa came to our home to troubleshoot it 15 Aug 19 & said that they would get back with us in a few days. We didn't hear back from them so 23 Aug 19 we contacted them & requested to have the broken system removed & our account credited. We were told they don't give a credit for used parts. This part had not worked since the installation of it. They said that if they came out to remove it the cost would be $130.00 as it isn't covered in the service agreement. They offered to troubleshoot it for free & if it didn't work then they would straight pipe it & issue a refund. It didn't work. My husband advised them not to install the new one that they brought out as that wasn't the deal that was made. Today Chelsea from the service department called to find out how we wanted our refund. She said a refund of $200.00 would be processed to our credit card. I asked her why the contract said $400.00 for the mineral system. She placed me on hold & came back & said that the other $200 was for installation & chemicals. It is certainly unfair to charge a customer for a product that was installed, never inoperable, and the purchase of the pool included the installation.

Desired Outcome

We are requesting a refund for the other $200.00 paid for the mineral system. The contract states the mineral system cost $400.00 so that is exactly what we expect to receive. Pool & Spa advertised FREE installation with the purchase of the pool.

Pool & Spa Depot - Clarksville Response • Aug 27, 2019

Our most sincere apologies for this issue. In going back and looking at all information, we do see that the mineral system was priced at $400 and you were only refunded $200. The system contains multiple components and the device was returned, but the chemicals were not and therefore the refund was prorated based on the value of the system and what was returned.

Our most sincere apologies and will be mailing a check in the amount of $200 as soon as possible.

Yes I will accept their response to mail a refund check as soon as possible in the amount of $200.00 for the inoperable system that was installed on our pool.

The Clarksville pool and spa location has the best staff friendly and willing to help! Always willing to provide advice as well! Job well done!.

Great company. We have used them for water testing multiple times. They are fast and efficient, and don't try to sell you things you don't need. The employees are always very nice and so helpful. I definitely recommend Pool and Spa of Clarksville to anyone needing help.

We contracted with Clarksville Pool and Spa Depot to install an in-ground pool on August 22, 2018. We were told the project would be completed within 8-12 weeks once digging started. Digging began in October 2018. It is now June 2019 and the project is not finished. We've spoken with the the project managers (there have been 3 so far), the store manager, and the owner. No one and I sincerely mean NO ONE has made a move to complete the project. Not only have they not completed the project but communication all but comes to a complete halt once they have your money. We've paid almost $50k for a lawn ornament so far.

We still have wrinkles in the liner of a brand new pool. As a matter of fact there were wrinkles in the pool liner from day 1.

Communication from them has been horrible. Fortunately, I communicated almost everything in text messages so I have proof of timelines and what we were told. After no movement on the pool in a couple of months I contacted the store manager and told her I felt we were being pushed into a corner legally.

After eight months of little or no communication and no project completion we finally hired an attorney to see what legal options we have. We simply wanted our pool, that we've paid for, to be usable for us, our friends, and our family. We didn't want to pursue a legal course of action but Clarksville Pool and Spa Depot, through their inactivity, pushed us to the edge.

I have always had excellent service any time I have need help with my pool and spa. I simply bring a water sample from each, and they test it. (They even provided the bottles that I use to bring the water to them for free!) I quick couple of minutes, the computer analyzes the sample and provides a printed report. The employee discusses what is needed to bring the pool or spa water into "balance". Any chemicals needed are always in stock. If I maintain everything consistantly on my own, sometimes I don't even need to buy any other chemicals. Absolutely great place to take care of my leisure time needs. They also have filters, robots, inflatables, spas, pools, and patio furniture.

Paid $3000 to Pool and Spa Depot to install a liner. Liner has leaked since installation. Can not get service people to show and fix or finish the job
Will be submitting an email with numerous pages of interactions with this company.

Desired Outcome

1. Let me know you are coming. 2. Show up. 3. Complete the job. 4. Have some one follow up to insure the job is complete. If they can not do that. I would like the liner removed, a total refund for the liner, and payment for loss of 180,000 gallons of city water I've lost since their installation.

Pool & Spa Depot - Clarksville Response

We sincerely apologize for the issues that have occurred. Pool and Spa Depot strives to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. The instance that most recently occurred with this customer is one that we are currently working to rectify, with the customer as well as internally. We have been in constant contact with the customer in regards to the leak detection of his pool and working to get it resolved.. Unfortunately, we fell short on our follow-up appointment.

We have reviewed our internal practices/procedures and have made changes in hopes to prevent this from occurring in the future.

Customer Response

iI am happy with the product at this time and glad they will no longer be comping to my house. EVER.

Jason from Pool and Spa finally came to the house and has stopped the leaking. I really like Jason as he is a great tech and cares about his work.

Final tally for a 3 day liner replacement. Over 90 days dealing with the company and over $1000 extra in water and chemicals.

I am glad it's over.
