We strive for homeowners to have excellent experiences with contractors they are introduced to through Porch and are disappointed to hear about Ms [redacted] 's experienceWhodoyou.com is a legitimate service and we are working with them to get additional information regarding the contractor Ms [redacted] hiredWe have guidelines in place to remove pros from Porch who do not meet out expected level of customer experience and will take the appropriate action, provided Ms [redacted] is wiling to provide photos of the work in questionMs [redacted] will receive follow up from our support team via email directly to resolve this issue to the best of our ability

She was let out of her day agreement and was never billed for MayShe was only charged for March and AprilIf she was charged for May, please let us know and we will ensure that month gets refunded

The customer signed up for an account on 2/7/with a monthly subscription amount of $ We first received the customers request to cancel their account on 2/27/and we setup the account for cancellationAt the time of cancellation there was a remaining balance on the account of $that we refunded back to the customers card (as requested)We do not normally offer refunds back to a debit card/credit card after purchase per our terms and conditions

We have reviewed the notes on our end and have had numerous touch points with ***As a result of what we have been able to determine, including errors on our end that were shared in previous correspondence, we have refunded her the amount requestedWe thank [redacted] for her patience and for working with us to resolve

Ms [redacted] first requested to cancel Porch service on 9/6/Porch sent her an email on 9/letting her know we've received her request and that she is paid through until her next bill dateOn 9/9, she spoke with Porch employee, Joanna K***Joanna K [redacted] says that she "attempted to help her adjust things on her profile to make sure that between now and the end of their service, they receive leads that work for them The issues that she had were easily remedied with changes on the profile, but she was not interested in moving forwardI let her know that we would not be able to refund the latest billing because we required a day cancellation notice (noted in porch.com/about/terms), and her request came in days after her bill dateShe then said she would dispute the charges and hung up." We received the Revdex.com dispute on 9/27, and James Y*** called each day until he was able to speak with her on 9/James decided to refund the remaining balance on the account (as a courtesy) and made sure the account was canceled after their conversation[redacted] said over the phone that if we gave her the refund of the remaining balance and stopped sending her leads, she would be happy to write a follow up saying that the issue has been resolvedJames has stopped the leads and confirmed the refund

The account was created in November of with a monthly spend of $ The balance left on the account can still be used for purchasing Pay As You Go leads within the customers service areaIt is in our terms and conditions (https://porch.com/about/terms/) that we do not offer refunds on prepaid subscription amountsAs a courtesy, the remaining balance on the account has been returned to the customers initial form of payment

I spoke with Mr [redacted] on 12/14/and had a long discussion about his experience with PorchWhile I regret that Porch did not meet his expectations, by the end of our conversation we reached an amicable resolution to his complaints

Mr [redacted] ,Thank you for reaching out and for being a Porch customer It looks like you and Kristin have chatted and I see that you have been reviewing leads and receiving credits back to your account We provide a self-service credit policy to allow you to credit your own leads so if you do receive a returnable lead (per our policy) you can refund yourself! Homeowners typically want choice when they make a request on Porch and can get a response from up to four contractors We do allow homeowners to connect with a single company if that is what they prefer.We are happy to continue working with you, let us know if there is anything else that we can do

We appreciate Mr [redacted] reaching out to us and the time he spent with his account manager to build his profilePorch serves up leads through multiple platforms, including phone and emailMr [redacted] received a total of email leads from 06/15/2015-07/14/2015, all of them emailAs Mr [redacted] was not happy with his level of service given he expected only phone leads, per his request we let him out of his day commitmentWhile we are unable to issue a refund (as month is not a true indication of the performance our service provides), we feel that by releasing him from his day commitment we are able to address his concerns

We appreciate Ms [redacted] reaching outIt appears that she requested a job through one of our partners, and that went out to some Porch prosShe emailed Porch.com with a request to delete her information, which we have doneAs a result she should not be contacted by Porch or any of our pros in the future

We have made several unsuccessful attempts to contact the business ownerToday, we suppressed the business profile from our site and notified the owner by emailWe apologize for the inconvenience and hope to do business in the future
