COMPLAINT-Regarding Porter Electronics .com

Earlier in July 2014 this writer took interest in the above noted business site on the Internet. I was interested in one of two (02) items so advertised. However, before I could place an order, a few questions had to be verified FIRST.

) Tried placing a telephone calls [July 17th & July 23rd] and left a US number to respond back to. As of this date I still am waiting for a return call!

) Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 12:50 AM EST I dispatched a Email making mention to the aforementioned. As of this date still no Email reply ... to include checking my Junk mail.

) July 29, 2014 I dispatched a tangible letter, which included copies of the aforementioned, address "CONFIDENTIAL" to "Mr. [redacted]" and as of this date NO REPLY WHATSOEVER.

This writer would appreciate a formal and proper response from:

.Porter Electronics; AND

.Revdex.com

This writer is very suspicious that had I placed an order with Porter Electronics, I may or may NOT have received the merchandise and forfeited my money. AND if I had received the merchandise and required additional Porter Electronic customer support ... knowing what I KNOW NOW, there is ZERO customer support!

Review: I have been trying to contact this company for over a week about the shipment of my product. It was over a week ago on March 17, 2016 that the shipping label was made and the product was never sent to UPS. I have been unable to call the business. All I get is voicemail and not one ever calls me back. I have also filled out the form on the website and get no response.Desired Settlement: I would Like to have some one call me to let me know why my order has not been sent to me yet. If there is an Issue sending me the order and they need more time I'm ok With that I would just like to know what is going on with my order. After all they have already taking my money out.

Review: On Friday May 24, 2013, I purchased an overhead projector that stated on Porter Electronics website that it was going to be new. I purchased it for $169.99. When I recevied the overhead projector it was definitely not new. It was used with dings all over it. I then contacted Porter Electronics asking if there was a mistake in the one we received. They told us no that they are a used electronics dealer. It does not state that anywhere on their website that is visible. I asked to return it since they did not sell any new ones. I made sure I was not paying for shipping or the restocking fee that was stated on their website for all returned merchandise. They told me that I did not need to return it and that they would issue me a refund back on the credit card used. This all happened between August 20th and August 26th. I received notice that I would get a refund on August 26th. I still have never received a refund as of today October 21st. I emailed them on October 9th and even called them and I have gotten no response at all about the refund. We would like the refund to happen.Desired Settlement: Receive a refund of 169.99 dollars back on the credit card we used to purchase.

A full refund has been issued back to this customer. The complaint can be closed. Issue has been resolved.

I ordered a camera on Sat Aug 15th and received confirmation that my order was received and paid for.On Wed the 20th I inquired about my order,I was advised by [redacted] that the order was being shipped via 2 day priority USPS with a tracking number.On the 21st I checked with USPS and was advised that the order had never left the facility.I was advised that the order would arrive on Sat the 23rd...nothing has been received..very poor experience

I have purchased 2 DVD/VCR combos and one vcr rewinder from Porter Electronics and have been completely satisfied with my purchases. I had a problem with one of the combos and with help from [redacted] I finally discovered I had a bad package of batteries. I would recommend Porter highly, it is a very trustworthy business and [redacted] goes out of his way to accommodate his customers.
