Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Dear [redacted] , I must start by saying I would never have paid close to $if I wasn't serious about wanting to lose the weightFrom day one, I cried in the office and stated that I want to liveI also explained how I fear if I don't do something I will end up dying from my obesityI also stressed the depression my being over weight has causedI have repeatedly told everyone who would listen that I have little will power when it comes to my food addictionThat's why I called your company! I was told that I was in the right place, and that following the program would change my thinking With that said, I was more then willing to do whatever your establishment instructed me to doI listened to the personal sessions three times a day, and traveled more than three hours (back and forth) for the classes and accelerationsI tried to internalize everything after each sesson and spent many extra hours listening to the tapes, trying to change my thinkingBut I never seemed to have any less cravings for the food that caused me to gain the weight in the first placeI would continually tell my counselor and hypnotherapist I was still craving foods like ice cream and pizza, and was instructed that I was allowed to eat whatever I was craving I was also advised that by continuing to listen to the sessions I would start craving healthier foods (fruits, vegetables, etc)I often told my counselors that I would buy produce and fill my refrigerator with what the classes told me to purchase but was never eating any of it because it didn't look appealing...my mentality hadn't shiftedTheir advice, as aways, was to keep listening to my personal sessions and I would eventually start to crave themWell again, that never happened I always did exactly as I was instructed, with fervor! very offensive. Every single one of those clients went through our program just like you. They are very real and their testimonials very true. Just because it didn’t work for you does not make what those clients say untrue. At Positive Changes we stand on a rock. We have thousands of testimonials from satisfied customers to back up what our clients say.
We have an excellent record of helping our clients achieve success. However, we cannot ethically guarantee human behavior, so we would not have promised you that you would lose your desired weight by the end of your program. We do however guarantee that we will support our clients throughout their program. This we have done for you. We have been here to help support you in your weight loss journey since you started your program in January of 2016, as agreed upon in our program guarantee.
[redacted], it appears there is a part of you, conscious or subconscious, that did not want to lose the weight, or wanted to prove hypnosis does not work for you. You win. It defies the law of physics that if you follow the program you would gain weight. In fact it takes a great deal of effort to resist and gain weight.
Hypnosis is designed to first help with changing behaviors so that the weight loss can follow. Unfortunately sometimes it is difficult for us to get out of our own way and be willing to accept change. Our number one priority for all of our clients is to find success. So along with the services that were delivered in your program, we have supported you by providing additional tools including; CD’s, accelerations and additional hypnosis and coaching sessions-at absolutely no additional cost to you.
We know we did everything on our part to help you be successful; we never gave up on you. We still care about you and would continue to not give up on you. Hypnosis is not something that is “done” to you, rather something that you do. We cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. It is not magic and you still have to do the work. If you are not willing on some level, to make the changes necessary to lose the weight, you will not, and have not. On the guarantee you signed it says-Success using hypnosis is dependent upon variables including the attitude, motivation and cooperation by the participant. ( see attached program guarantee ) 
You are correct in your comment that we do not put you on a diet or tell you what to eat. We also do not have you count calories, which would be putting you on a diet. Even though we do not put you on a diet or have you count calories, we do expect you to be willing to make dietary changes necessary for you to lose weight. Through the power of the subconscious mind we teach you to “pay attention” to what you are eating and doing. You always have the ability to “cancel” it out and do what you want-even though your subconscious mind is telling you something different. That choice is up to you. There is no part of our program that would entice you to over eat or continue with the bad habits that caused you to gain the weight in the first place.
Based on the fact that we did everything on our part to help you and that you signed our guarantee stating you understood it. I cannot ethically give you your money back. You did stay in the program and in addition to using our services agreed upon in your program; you were given and used several services extended to you at no additional cost.  We honored our guarantee-to never give up on you.
I am sorry [redacted] that you did not lose the weight; you still have a library of hypnotic sessions that were customized for you based on your habits and behaviors. For now, I would suggest you put them away and give yourself some time. When you are ready to make the changes necessary to find the results you want, I would suggest going back to listening to these hypnotic processes and acting on them and if at any time you decide to return for help, we are here for you.
