PR Plumbing was sent out by my home owners insurance to repair/replace air conditioner They were dishonest on a couple issues and ***, the owner, even hung up the phone on me when I called him out on the dishonesty (They told me they would call in the specs the same day as the inspection, but they did not call in until later the next day They also said they had not received paperwork from the insurance, but the insurance company assured me they were emailed the informationOn Friday, they confirmed with me and the insurance company that they'd install on a Tuesday On Monday, I called to confirm with insurance, and PR told insurance that they did not have me on the list for Tuesday They were eventually able to fit me in on Tuesday after a lot of stress.) They replaced the old ton unit with a ton unit for a large house I called to say it wasn't cooling the houseThe first tech that came out said it was the house's long ducts and to change the air filter to a month

I had PR Plumbing out to our home to fix a clogged shower and fix our leaking shower headWe are in our mid-70's and not qualified to fix things any longer due to healthPR was on time, professional and fixed both problems quickly and courteously!! Jesse did a very nice job and clean out the shower when doneThanks PR!!

PR Plumbing and Heating first came out 7/11/to look at AC unitTechnician recommended and my warranty company approved full replacement of my unitOn 7/13/my warranty company called me to inform me of non-covered charges I would have to pay and I accepted responsibility for these chargesWarranty company indicated they would order the new unit on 7/and it would be ready for pick up by PR Plumbing and Heating by 7/I called PR Plumbing and Heating on 7/13, 7/18, 7/20, and 7/22, asking to speak to someone regarding status of this work orderI was told during every call that "***" was handling my work order but that he was not availableI asked that he call me back, but he never returned by callOn 7/25, I spoke with front office staff and was told that they would be out on 7/to install my unit between the hours of 1pm and 3pmI then received a call on 7/to set up an install dateI stated that

An HVAC replacement was done at our home in and the company failed to order inspections or close out the permitNow, we are receiving letters of potential fines we will be responsible for and also stalled on pulling any additional permits for projects we are trying to complete and the is now costing us more moneyWe have contacted the business several times and the contractors we are working with now have contacted them several timesThe initial phone call to them on this issue was 8/(nearly weeks ago) and they still have not moved forward on resolving this issueDuring a follphone call we were told they needed weeks to get the file out of archives (weeks after initial contact) and then they will figure out what they need to doThey are not making resolving this issue a priority, not making retrieving the file a priority or trying to do anything about resolving the issue, other than tell us they need more timeWe cannot resolve this issue ourselves and it is

his home on 9/8/and replaced his pumpwe are also scheduled to go to his home today 9/10/to address any other concerns mr*** may havenot to make excuses but to explain, mr*** signed his contract on 4/29/his job was completed on 5/7/2014, and at that time we collected payment, when the job was completethis equipment had to be ordered in, its not something just sitting on shelves, also we stuck to any appointments that we made with mr *** and never promised any date of completion because the installers had to work around an enormous amount of "clutter" that mr*** had in his home and the many, many questions he had for them which was constantly impeding there progressour office is closed on the weekend and we have an answering serviceour supplier shipped the wrong pump so we had to reorder, causing further delays

After the installation was complete I asked if the unit in the living room was running properlyThe reply was yes, the condensate pump turns on when it senses waterThe unit gradually got worse until it shut itself offThe unit is on its third pump and it pumps for about three seconds every thirty secondsFor comparison I ran the other three units for four hours to see if they ran the same wayThey did notI checked the end of the condensate drain line and saw little or no discharge of water
I do not know about air conditioningbut with three condensate pumps acting the same way, it is hard to believe that they are the problemI am afraid that this unit may be the problem and may fail before its time, which is why I asked for a warranty extensionIf the unit does not fail it will not cost the company anything
However the question remains, why does this unit run so differently than the others?

Things are going from bad to worseThey did come out and install the larger pumpIt could not pump the water out overheated and the A/C unit shut downThey decided the pump could not push the water through the tubing connectorTheir solution, cut a hole in the ceiling to reroute the tubing and bypass the connectorI reluctantly agreed to thisThe next day they came out to do thisIt took two minutes for this larger pump to move the water outIt continued to pump for another three minutes overheated and the A/C unit shut offIt continues to pump and the only way to stop it is at the circuit breaker, end result is no A/C to any roomAs the pump continues to run hot I do not want to risk a fireThe next day they came out with the pump manufacturer's repHis solution get another pumpSo far now another four days with no A/CIs PR Plumbing trying? Yes, but it has been two months now and everything seems to just get worse not better

I am rejecting this response because:The contractor was initially contacted by my husband regarding this issue and he was told 2-days for them to retrieve the file which was archived due to the fact that the work was done several years ago, understandably Several days later (roughly 5), my husband contacted them again to follow up on the issue and was told that they would need an additional weeks to retrieve the file because it was at their archive location One week later, we called back to check on the status of the situation, they told us that they needed another weeks Once we realized that PR Plumbing wasn't showing any sense of urgency to right a wrong on their part, we were recommended by the county building commission to file a complaint through the contractors state license board We were also told by the county that PR Plumbing is well known for having similar issues I then called the company to speak with them because we hoped the issue could be resolved without going through the complaint/violation process, but that phone call resulted in being told by the permit office, "if we are going to call and make threats, then we see no urgency on our behalf to resolve this matter."Finally, PR Plumbing reopened the existing permit and a county inspector came to our home to inspect their work The HVAC unit failed the inspection with only minor discrepancies and was corrected by the company in a timely manner We were told that the county inspector would arrive the following day to inspect the corrections, which didn't happen My husband was at the county building department submitting pool building plans that very day and asked the secretary if there was anybody scheduled to visit our property, to which there wasn'tThis has now been ongoing for weeks and our solar permit is still being held up

Our Air Conditioner was not working about a month agoI called Fidelity Home Warranty because they are our home warrantyThey contracted PR PLUMBING and air conditioning in FresnoIt is so hot here in the Valley the temperature is to degrees fahrenheitA technician came and said the Valve is broken and the part needs to be irdered and that he wont put Freon in it until the valve arrivesJames from PR plumbing called me last August saying it was backordered they dont know when it is comingIt can only be found in one companyThey said about August 23-but nothingI am suffering deeply from the heat why should I have to suffer the temperature in our house is so hot given the current temperatures in the Central ValleyI called them last Monday august and James PR plumbing is very rudeHe said they dont know when the part is comingI cannot wait I am sufferingI have Hypothyroidism status post Ablation of my Thyroid years agoI need the temperature regulated

I need to file a formal complaint about PR Plumbing heating and air located at *** E *** Avein Fresno CA ***I have a home warranty and my air conditioner went out in the beginning of MayThe warranty company contracted PR Plumbing to do the job on a ThursdayI was told by the warranty company that they would call me within two business days to set up an appointmentI never received a callI called on the following Tuesday to set the appointment and the receptionist lied to me stating that she called me and left a messageI had no missed calls nor a message from herWe set the appointment for several days laterThe technicians came out and replaced my condenser fan and we were up and runningMy air conditioner worked for one day and stopped workingThe warranty company contracted them againThis time I didn't wait for them to call meI called them right away to set the appointmentThey came out several days later and replaced the circuitboard and we were up and running againA few weeks went by and it went out againPR Plumbing got the contract againThey came out last Friday (06/23/2017) and replaced some wires and the a/c was workingOn Tuesday (06/27/2017) the a/c went out againOnce again PR Plumbing was contractedI called them to set an appointment that dayThey told me that they could have someone out on FridayI told the receptionist that was unacceptable and they needed to have someone out sooner due to them having to come out so many times without fixing itShe refused to make a sooner appointmentI then spoke to someone who stated that she was the managerI told her the same thing and she also refused to make a sooner appointmentI then request to speak to the owner of the company who the manager stated was out of the officeI requested to have the owner call meWednesday morning I received a call from someone with PR Plumbing, I don't know if he was the ownerHe never said what his position wasI told him that they needed to get someone to my house sooner than Friday due to negligence on their partThe man, I believe he said his name was Dan or Danny, became upset and said that it wasn't even one of "his units" and he doesn't normally work on thoseI then asked him several times why he took the work order if it's not one of "his units" and he refused to answerHe then went on to tell me that I'm lucky to get a Friday appointment and stated that because I'm a warranty customer he should push my appointment back to mid JulySo this means that they treat their warranty customers differentlyAre they purposely not doing the job that they should be doing because they know it's a guaranteed check from the warranty company?

We are standing by that the king valves are still bad and are leaking Freon to the outside airWe did the right thing like it or not!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope the owner is OK with knowing that the unit in question in leaking Freon to outside air that we all breathe and against the lawThe owner has had
Freon add in the pasted, Freon leaks don't just go awayNext summer the unit will be out of Freon and the owner can start it all overThe owner could have had it fixed right by now

On January 25th my home warranty "First American Home Buyers Protection" approved a replacement on my ton Carrier furnace The job was assigned to PR Plumbing, Heating & Air The furnace installed by PR Plumbing was down sized to a ton furnace; I was not aware of the mishap at the time
In addition, I was charged $by an employee at PR Plumbing by the name of ***The description on the invoice reads, "non covered cost for ac unit." *** had advised me that the charge was for a none covered duct test
On Feb 26th PR Plumbing advised to contact my home warranty and initiate a new work order for my duct system Work order XXXXXXXXX was created and assigned to PR Plumbing On March 25th PR Plumbing dispatched a tech to service my duct work; however, the work was not completed correctly That afternoon, I

PR Plumbing Heating and A/C in was hired to repair a 3ftpiece of broken sewer lineTheir repair work lowered the sewer grade 6" this caused the water to flow back toward the houseIt was necessary to remove and redo their workThey also dug up several plants and left them to dieWhen contacted they expressed no concern for my issues

state we needed two weeks to get everything in orderThe trouble we had was getting phone calls from multiple people regarding the matterThe husband and wife, as well as the contractor they were working withAlthough not happy about the time frame the husband seemed to understand, and allot us the timeIt was within the stated time frame that we contacted the husband with all the information needed, after which we received this complaintThe local inspector has been out, and we are currently attempting to schedule for the corrections needed to finalize the permitThe customer is our main focus and we have done everything needed to get the situation handled.?
