PR Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Inc Reviews (30)

On August 3rd we responded to a Fidelity National service call for Air Conditioning at *** *** * *** ***'s property in Madera CaThe technician found the unit to be low on refrigerantThe homeowner disclosed to the technician that they have had a separate contractor out three times in three
weeks to add refrigerantThe technician did a leak search with certified equipment, and found the liquid line service valve to be leakingPR Plumbing, Heating & Air Incwill not apply refrigerant if there is a leak, we have to much concern for our environmentThe fact that the equipment was low, and according to the customer had been low previously only supports the findings of the technicianThe refrigerant had to be going somewhereThe first step was to report this to Fidelity NationalOn August 11th we received a partner note granting authorization for the call to move forwardThe order was placed, and the part was to arrive August 24th-25thThe homeowner was notifiedThe part was checked on August 25th, and the wholesale house notified us that the part was on a back order from the manufactureThe homeowner was notifiedAt this point we do not manufacture product, and rely heavily on wholesale houses to provide productIf the manufacturer can not produce the part, we can do nothing about thisWe here try to provide a reasonably priced service, in a timely manner, with the best customer care allowedUnfortunately this situation is out of our controlSince the customer has sought ***'s A/C to fill a leaky system with refrigerant, they can assume all liability.?

I AM SORRY THAT MRS*** HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH OUR COMPANY, HOWEVER, THIS IS AN INSURANCE CLAIM AND THERE IS A PROCESS JUST LIKE ANY OTHER INSURANCE CLAIM, YOU DONT GET YOUR CAR FIXED RIGHT AWAY WHEN THERE IS AN ACCIDENT, WE STRIVE TO GET TO EVERY CLAIM IN A TIMELY MANNER, BUT WE TAKE THEM
IN THE ORDER WE RECEIVE THEM, AND ALSO WE ARE CONTRACTORS FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND WORK FOR THEM DIRECTLY AND HAVE TO FOLLOW THEIR RULES AND REGULATIONS ABOUT SPEAKING TO THERE CUSTOMERS,ALSO THEY PURCHASE THE EQUIPMENT SO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY CALL US TO TELL US THE EQUIPMENT IS READY FOR PICK UP WHICH CAN TAKE 3-BUSINESS DAYS, HAVING SAID THAT, THESE ARE NOT EXCUSES, JUST TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE PROCESS, THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE CLAIM AND WE CAN ONLY DO WHAT WE ARE DIRECTED TO DO BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY, WE DID COMPLETE THE INSTALL ON 7/29/AND THE HOMEOWNER WAS HAPPY WITH THE INSTALL, I AM SORRY TO MRS*** ABOUT THE RESPONSE TIME BUT THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF CLAIMS AND WE SERVICE IN THE ORDER WE RECEIVE THE CLAIMS, IF SHE WOULD HAVE CALLED US TO DO THIS PRIVATELY WE WOULD HAVE DONE THE INSTALL MUCH QUICKER BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE NO RED TAPE FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY

We serviced the home on April 16,2014.Our technician detected the water leak between the house and street. Our Technician adjusted the float on the fill valve (Toilet) in the home (customer asked him to) He found sprinkler valve and...

sprinkler head leaking on property. She stated we did not inform her. Homeowner said she would fix the sprinkler valve and sprinkler head and would call if problem persisted. She called the office and stated that she had water continuing to run, we scheduled our Senior Technician out. Homeowner called back and cancelled the appointment. She never asked for a refund. Our technician did not remove any items from the home. There was no handle on the main water valve, so our technician used his channel lock to slow the water flow down. The work order that was given to her stated we detected the leak between the home and the street.
Homeowner read and we explained to her what what we did. She signed the work order and paid us. Two weeks later we are getting this complaint and since we were out never heard a word and assumed it was resolved.
We are sorry she feels this way.We wish she would have kept the appointment she cancelled so we could have taken care of this problem for her. We will refund the $90.00 to the homeowner.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I called to have the company come out to troubleshoot and locate a KNOWN leak. They did not do that. I did receive a refund from PR Plumbing. However, my personal property was removed by the plumbers. this consisted of a 12" crescent wrench with a metal pipe on the end. the wrench had been on the main water valve since I purchased the home three years ago, and was there the morning of the same day the plumbers came out. It disappeared. Further, the plumbers claimed they adjusted the float on the hallway toilet, because the tank water level was too high and water was running into the drain tube. they did NOT adjust it, it was no different after they left. My son had to come out the next day, he adjusted it correctly within five minutes, and he is not a plumber. PR Plumbing did NOTHING competently or as requested. There is no excuse for this kind of incompetence.
[redacted]

Worst air conditioning service techs EVER! They have been out to fix my ac unit 7 times for the condenser freezing over. Last tech said condenser unit was undersized for compressor and needed to be changed. They came out and changed condenser and heating unit. The condenser is still freezing over! Oct 6th 2016 will be 8 times of trying to fix the same problem. This is a warranty issue and is the only reason I have let it go this long. PR plumbing and air conditioning has incompetent AC techs. If this issues is not fixed Oct 6th 2016, I will get a competent company to fix it and will be sueing PR plumbing and heating for all costs incurred including lost wages of $900 a day. Do not use this company!

PR Plumbing has been in contact with Mrs. [redacted]. If Mrs [redacted] can give us the contact information of her heers rater. PR Plumbing will hire her contractor to preform the duct testing. It is not our company holding up the permit and duct testing process, we are still available any time to schedule the duct test and finalize the permit. If Mrs. [redacted] chooses not to give us the information for her contractor, we will not refund the $350.00 UNTIL the duct test has been preformed and the paperwork has been giving to our office.
