Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] There are many facts here that are completely incorrect that I would like to clarifyFirst and foremost,I never once told anyone that I was no longer getting a camper for my family As a matter of fact, [redacted] the service manager asked me if I got my camper on the day I went to pick up my connection to my camper to have it installed There are a few more things that I need to clarify On the Pilot, the reason why we took it to [redacted] was because multiple warning lights came on days after I purchased itAs an interesting point, the worker asked us if he wanted us to have him "reset" the lights so they didn't come on Who is to say that Honda didn't do that?Another point I would like to make that I failed to initially make was the fact that prior to purchasing the we(my wife and I) specifically asked the salesman [redacted] if we could have our own mechanic look at it as it was a used vehicleHe denied us the opportunity to do that When I asked the GM [redacted] what the policy on that was, he said sure we could have taken the car to our own mechanic prior to purchasing the vehicleI feel that [redacted] doesn't know the company policy or he may have had his own agenda Either way, I feel that we were lied toNow I would like to address the Pilot issues According to the Carfax Honda provided, it did show that the brakes were replaced at approx 47,milesThere was NO mention anywhere that the rotors were also replacedI did take the car to [redacted] s tires who have been in business for years to get their professional opinion I fully trusted them as we have had a business relationship with them for over years without any complaints [redacted] , I don't understand why someone with your integrity wouldn't stand by their word What was the point of me going to get a reciept for something if I knew you weren't going to reimburse me like you said You admitted to me that bad rotors are a safety issue and the car should have never been sold that way Those were your exact words The reason I wanted my Highlander back is because I was truly afraid of pulling my camper and having the engine blow out If we weren't experiencing issues with it, it would not have been a concern There is yet another point I would like to address They did put the on a testing machine for minutes to see if they could detect any issues, but yet couldn't provide me ANY record of it passing "their" test I still feel that we were done wrongly by the folks at Honda Again, I feel that safety was neglectedI also don't understand why they wouldn't want to "certify" their used vehicles when they only have 60,milesi am not satisfied with the answer that I was provided by Honda [redacted] , there is no buyers remorse as you assume I do own a camper that I do get to enjoy Wanting my original car back had nothing to do with your "Assumptions" I am requesting Honda to rethink their position in this matter Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter

These guys does not disclose anything before hand and lies to the customers that somethings does not workIn my case they claimed that Google Voice or Vonage does not work only AT&T works with their serviceSince I don't have AT&T I had to take their wireless service deviceThey don't even mention that there is a Contract Term for taking wireless deviceIn my case our HOA has a master contract with Premier to provide monitoring serviceTheir wireless service contract has yr term much much longer than their master contract expires with HOAA month later they activated my neighbors service with Google VoiceI called customer service to ask the same and they hung up on me twice

[redacted] signed a credit application which gave us permission to pull credit and then seek financing options for herYes, she was reviewed by five banks for financingHere is the best explanation for how this is not going to have the effect on her credit the say she thinks it will Most credit scores will count multiple car loan inquiries as one lenders know that multiple applications for a car loan within a short period of time indicate you are shopping for the best terms, not buying multiple carsScoring systems have been designed to reflect that realityTherefore, as long as the inquiries were all made within a certain period of time, usually days but sometimes longer, they are counted as just one when calculating your scoreWe do sincerely apologize for the miscommunication between our sales associate and the finance manager regarding her wishesThe reason she was hung up on is because she belligerently cursed the finance manager while he was trying to explain this to her and apologizeWe do not speak to our customers when they are this emotionalIt doesn’t fair well for either partyHer desired outcome is not something that Hardin County Honda can help her withIf she needs something done with her credit bureau, then she must contact them herselfHardin County Honda has maintained an A+ with the Revdex.com for several years and will continue toWe hope that she now has a better understanding of the process [redacted] ManagerHardin County Honda

I placed an order in December for a replacement power supply I was sent an automatic reply that the order was received weeks went by with no contact from the vendor I attempted to contact them on several occasions buy their VM was full and there were no replies to any emails I ended up cancelling the charge on my CC and that same day I received confirmation of shipment They need to figure out what they are doing, at this point I assume it is a scam

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was asked if I could secure a cosigner and I did I was told we would start from scratch with the cosigner I was denied before the cosigner even provided the credit application I have spoke with the lender and was told that it was the dealership that actually backed out of the deal, NOT the lender I was also told from the lender that they would be sending out a letter I have not received such letter as of yet I will be returning the vehicle and will expect a check for the down payment and first payment ($PLUS $154.25) before the key is turned over to the dealership The contract was signed by both parties and payment accepted the first payment which acknowledges the contract terms Regards, [redacted] ***

November 29, Revdex.com: After reviewing the message from Mr [redacted] we feel that we need to follow up with a response to each of his concerns We did originally suggest to Mr [redacted] that we might be able to save the car deal if we were able to secure a qualifying comaker on the deal He supplied us with the name and email of his possible comaker and we forwarded her a PDF of our credit application and asked her to complete and return to us via fax Over the next few days we were told numerous times that the fax would be coming but no one at the dealership ever received the application Mr ***s statement saying that it was the dealership that backed out of the deal and not the lender is not exactly accurate When we first submitted the application to the bank the monthly income the customer stated he made did not end up matching up with year to date paystubs His year to date gross income as of September 5, did not even equal the amount he claimed to have made each month all year Once the bank saw the paystubs they placed the deal on hold unless Mr [redacted] could provide more provable income We gave him ample time to prove more income in case the documentation we were supplied with was not complete We never received additional income verification The deal was reaching its expiration time with the bank and we told Mr [redacted] that the only possible way to save the deal was to add a comaker with additional income to justify the car payment When we did not receive the comaker information in time the deal had ended up expiring with the bank and the bank asked us what we wanted to do In order to continue we would have had to start the entire process all over again with no guarantee of an approval So it was at this point we asked Mr [redacted] to return the vehicle He has returned the vehicle and has been reimbursed for his down payment and the first car payment he had made to the lender We hope that this will resolve this matter We are very sorry that this car deal was unable to reach completionWe told Mr [redacted] that we wanted to do a car deal with him and the bank did want to provide him with financing, but we have to be able to verify all information submitted on a credit application and if anything is not accurate we stand the risk of the car deal having to back up Regards, Hardin County Honda [redacted] Hardin County Honda ###-###-#### [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was shown a vehicle, and I took home another vehicle That is what happened I would like my money refunded Thank you Regards, [redacted]

This is in regards to the complaint made by *** *** on July 4th, about Hardin county HondaThis has been settledWe fixed the customer’s vehicleAll parties are satisfied. *** ***Manager

The customer came into Hardin County Honda initially looking for a used Pilot because he had plans to purchase a pull-behind camper, and his Toyota Highlander did not have the capacity to pull oneHe traded his vehicle in on a Honda PilotAfter the purchase, the customer stated the unit
was not pullingHe went to ***Zone where someone there apparently told him his transmission needed to be replaced and that it would cost $3,to $5,to repairWe told the customer we would check it out and advise if the transmission was bad and if it was we would reverse the dealIt is not our intention on selling a product with a bad transmission even if it was sold and the customer signed an buyer’s guideIt turns out that after being checked by a mechanic in our service department that there was a bad sensor and we agreed to replace it at no chargeWe also advised the customer that the Pilot needed a catalytic converter and we would split the cost of the repair with himHe agreedThis was done
Upon leaving the dealership, the customer noticed ANOTHER used pilot we had just taken in on trade, a modelThis Pilot was also well maintained as the previous owner is a loyal Honda owner and Hardin County Honda customer who has purchased several vehicles with usHe also owns his own repair shop and services his vehicles diligentlyHe inquired on purchasing that one, and we worked out a deal where he could trade the one he just bought in on this oneSo, a few days after that the customer states the Pilot is jerking and jumpingWe advised him to bring it in and we would check it out, there was no issue foundHe stated he had the rotors replaced somewhere locallyWe checked the history of the vehicle and found all was good at inspection and the rotors did not need to be replaced which is something we always replace on vehicles if needed when they are reconditioned for resaleWe requested a copy of a paid receipt for the rotors, but NEVER stated we would refundWhile he was here he also mentioned to us that his family had decided they didn’t want the camper anymore, and didn’t necessarily need the Pilot anymoreWe also checked history of the repairs and with the previous owner of the Pilot who owns and operates his own reputable ***motive repair facility in Hardin County to ask if he had previous problems with vehicleHe had no problems with the brakes or rotors and had actually changed them himself recently
We have gone out of our way to accommodate Mr*** with all of his requestsHe asked for his Highlander back we feel because he wasn’t purchasing a camper anymore and had buyer’s remorse and was trying to find a way out of a legally binding contract by stating we sold him a vehicle with issues when we did notHis Highlander was not exactly a mechanically sound vehicle, and we did not want to put it for sale on our lot so it was heading to the auction to be wholesaledWe told him that vehicle was not available anymore and if that changed he would be contactedHe was not ignored by us by any meansThat Highlander has not and will not be available againHe has signed two Buyer’s Guides on two different mechanically sound vehiclesWe helped every way we canHe owns the PilotHe signed a contractIt is hisAfter much consideration and reviewing the way we handled each and every situation he presented us with, we feel we did everything we could to please this customer
His request for reimbursement is denied

Yes I become hostile after the fact the manager acted as if what I requested to his salesperson wasn’t importantI explained to him that I asked the salesperson before he even took the credit application action back there to not run it more then three times because of the past dealership hurt my credit score and didn’t want it done with them as wellWhen he said nobody told him about me expressing I did two tot ran more then three times and nothing he could do about it now....yes I become very hostileHe should’ve checked with the sales rep and at least took the time to investigate and I would’ve been more at ease with his response.

The following is the account of my dealings with Hardin County Honda with an amendment from my previous message because my business with them began on Saturday 20150425 not Sunday. Negotiations ended on Wednesday 20150429 when they failed to honor the incorrect pricing sheet that was given to me by [redacted] their sales rep. The General Manager made a statement while hanging up the phone on me on that Wednesday to Mr. [redacted] that he hated doing business with the military. He assumed that I wasn’t still on the phone to hear it. I was surprised because Mr. [redacted] was in my view a good sales rep so for him to stand idly by was sad.   I retrieved the keys to my Honda Accord asked them to return my good faith deposit and they refused. I at no time was I belligerent as they assert. I had a witness with me during the entire process that can speak to my behavior if now that I’m requesting my money back, which I’m owed, being accused of ugly behavior falsely.
Saturday 20150425.
-Honda Civic, Honda Fit discussed
-Asked for letter from [redacted] told them it’s unnecessary because I’d be putting down large sum of cash. Didn’t tell them amount on Saturday but put down a good faith deposit of 200.00 to let them know Id return Monday to complete business. [redacted] wasn’t in Sunday.
-Told that Black Honda Civic could be acquired from another dealership. Deposit was never mentioned as a cost for acquiring the vehicle from another dealership. Nor was any paperwork signed stating that. A receipt for my deposit was signed. Deposit was always stated as being toward the cost of the down payment I’d put on the car.
Monday 20150427
-Honda Civic not acquired from dealership because they restated that they wanted a letter from a [redacted] NCO. I told them Monday I’d put be putting down 8000.00 towards down payment. 7800.00 plus my 200.00. They no longer asked for that letter.
-Asked for physical copy of SSN. Told them it’s not possible and that my LES a government payment document had the information. [redacted] stated that it could be forged and that people had forged them in the past. The LES was printed out in there office on that Saturday. Despite this I sought avenue to get my SSN.
Tuesday 20150428
-Told Mr. [redacted] SSN wasn’t going to be retrievable and that LES I printed in their office was good enough.
-Got approved for financing through [redacted] Given VIN number information to enter in on [redacted] website for Honda Civic so payment could be setup. Deal couldn’t be completed because [redacted] auto was closed. Wanted to do business so I told Mr. [redacted] I’d return tomorrow to complete it when [redacted] financing was open.
Wednesday 20150429
-Went to [redacted] to setup financing for Honda Civic using provided VIN number. On further inspection of sheet provided realized sheet was for wrong car model. It was for a Honda Fit and not a Civic. Called Mr. [redacted] to address this and told that the price had gone up because he gave me the wrong pricing sheet. I said that they should honor their price because that’s the one I’d been given the previous day. And if [redacted] had been open that’s the price I would have paid. He put the GM on the phone who I told the same thing too. He hung up the phone because I was asked them to honor their price. He made the above statement as he hung up thinking I was already off the phone.
I want my money to be returned to me. Mr. [redacted] has since accused me of being belligerent which is untrue. I was also told I was never given the pricing sheet with the VIN number yet I hand it to [redacted] when I returned to the dealership to get my deposit with two witnesses in tow. [redacted] told me that it was a mistake. I stated that they should honor the price in person. I had a witness to the accounts of each interaction. I do not care about Mr. [redacted]’s false accusations. I did not conduct business with him. I spoke to [redacted]. The GM has little regard for customer service. He hung up the phone on me; belittle my profession, and [redacted] refused to return my 200.00 dollars. That is what happened and I will keep pursuing this until my money is returned to me.

There are many facts here that are completely incorrect that I would like to clarify. First and foremost,I never once told anyone that I was no longer getting a camper for my family.  As a matter of fact, [redacted] the service manager asked me if I got my camper on the day I went to pick up my connection to my camper to have it installed.  There are a few more things that I need to clarify.  On the 2010 Pilot, the reason why we took it to [redacted] was because multiple warning lights came on 2 days after I purchased it. As an interesting point, the worker asked us if he wanted us to have him "reset" the lights so they didn't come on.  Who is to say that Honda didn't do that?... Another point I would like to make that I failed to initially make was the fact that prior to purchasing the 2010 we(my wife and I) specifically asked the salesman [redacted] if we could have our own mechanic look at it as it was a used vehicle. He denied us the opportunity to do that.  When I asked the GM [redacted] what the policy on that was, he said sure we could have taken the car to our own mechanic prior to purchasing the vehicle. I feel that [redacted] doesn't know the company policy or he may have had his own agenda.  Either way, I feel that we were lied to. Now I would like to address the 2011 Pilot issues.  According to the Carfax Honda provided, it did show that the brakes were replaced at approx 47,000 miles. There was NO mention anywhere that the rotors were also replaced. I did take the car to [redacted]s tires who have been in business for 27 years to get their professional opinion.  I fully trusted them as we have had a business relationship with them for over 10 years without any complaints. [redacted], I don't understand why someone with your integrity wouldn't stand by their word.  What was the point of me going to get a reciept for something if I knew you weren't going to reimburse me like you said.  You admitted to me that bad rotors are a safety issue and the car should have never been sold that way.  Those were your exact words.  The reason I wanted my Highlander back is because I was truly afraid of pulling my camper and having the engine blow out.  If we weren't experiencing issues with it, it would not have been a concern.  There is yet another point I would like to address.  They did put the 2011 on a testing machine for 30 minutes to see if they could detect any issues, but yet couldn't provide me ANY record of it passing "their" test.  I still feel that we were done wrongly by the folks at Honda.  Again, I feel that safety was neglected. I also don't understand why they wouldn't want to "certify" their used vehicles when they only have 60,000 miles. I am not satisfied with the answer that I was provided by Honda. [redacted], there is no buyers remorse as you assume.  I do own a camper that I do get to enjoy.  Wanting my original car back had nothing to do with your "Assumptions".  I am requesting Honda to rethink their position in this matter.  Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Prior to Hardin County Honda receiving this complaint the customer had already returned to the dealership with their vehicle and any further needed repairs had already been completed.  The initial repairs, relevant to the initial customer concern, had been completed for a little over a month...

and the vehicle sat parked awaiting the customers return for the entire time.  During that time, the EGR valve had deteriorated and required attention.  We gladly repaired the vehicle for the customer at no charge, as to return the vehicle in proper working order.  Again, the vehicle sat parked for another 3 weeks awaiting the return of the customer.  During both visits to the service department I personally was involved with assisting the owner, Mrs. Vehicle Owner.  Unfortunately, Mr. Vehicle Owner had filed a formal complaint with the Revdex.com prior to discussing the matter and was not fully informed.  All concerns with Mrs. Owner have been resolved and a scheduled follow-up appointment has been set.  All repairs completed on this vehicle were necessary repairs and at this time the vehicle is operating to the satisfaction of the customer and the staff of Hardin County Honda. Sincerely, [redacted] Hardin County Honda Service Manager [redacted]
