I am rejecting this response because: The facts of my personal experience with this company were conveyed to you as I know them to be. I have no reason to fabricate anything, as I do not want or expect anything in return from this company. I simply felt compelled to relate my experience to assist those in the future who trust in the Revdex.com when they are selecting a service. I know many people look to the Revdex.com when they are making decisions when selecting a service or product. We have tried to explain to this customer on multiple occasions that he has Asbestos siding and we are not licensed to handle Asbestos sidingWe were unaware that he had asbestos siding at the time our Sales Representative gave the initial estimates

Attached I have offered three documents to support our response to this Revdex.com Complaint. We have only one record of...

the [redacted]'s contacting Premier Siding & Roofing after May 20th, 2011. That call came in a few months ago there was no other communication that we received from [redacted] until we were notified by the Revdex.com that [redacted] had made a complaint against our Company. I ([redacted]) clearly remember speaking with [redacted] in late 2013, she explained that she had an area of concern near an old leak. I explained to her that unfortunately we are not doing work in OH at this time, and that we kept Company Representatives in the area for almost an entire year after our last warranty expired there. So, I simply did not have anyone to send over, or I would have sent someone over right away of course at no cost to her to inspect the issue. [redacted] explained that this area of concern arose a weeks ago and that she did not want to have to pay someone to fix it and was hoping that we would fix it for free…I did inform her that by letting the issue fester it could very well increase the cost of the repair that’s when she got very concerned and mentioned her financial struggles to afford the house upkeep.  Even though she was upset she remained very polite and she even said that she understood and even agreed that it was so long after the work was done and that she thought she was just give it shot as far as having us come over and pay for the repairs and we ended the conversation in a very respectful manner. I have not heard from her until I received a notification that she had submitted an fabricated Revdex.com complaint against Premier Siding & Roofing and really it seems to be more against me, maybe because I am the one that said no and she seems to be under some personal stress right now? I do not want her to be upset with our Company, especially after we did fulfill our contractual obligations to [redacted].
Regarding [redacted]'s accusations and recollection of events in 2010 and September of 2013, our team has a different recollection of events based on the memory, records, and research that our team has done in looking into this complaint. The following is the only record of any type of issue with the work that we preformed at the [redacted]’s property: 1.) The [redacted]'s signed a Contract on 8/26/2010, 2.) their Roof was completed 09/2010 (less than two weeks later). 3.) We received a call from [redacted] on 5/16/11 (a record of that phone call is attached) 4.) [redacted] requested us to come over and investigate what she assumed was a roof leak. 5.) On May 20th, 2011 we sent over a Company Representative (the invoice is attached) who charged us fifty-dollars to make the necessary repairs to [redacted]'s roof. I know by the amount that we were charged ($50.00) there was nothing major going on, this charge would be for something very, very minor. Even more importantly: In [redacted], Ohio during 2010 the last snow of the year was 5/9/10, this final snow ended an extreme Winter which carried recorded breaking runs of freezing weather and massive amounts of snow throughout that Winter season. The repair was completed on May 20th 2011…on May 22nd, 2011 less than two days after the repair was completed [redacted] had the rainiest day of the year. In fact May 2011 rainiest month of that year. In addition to the record breaking precipitation May also had extreme humidity and wind yet [redacted] did not have any issues that were reported to us until late 2013. Again, [redacted]'s said her leak started 5/16/10, her leak supposedly began a few days after the last snow fell and the temperatures began to drop and climb and extreme rates. If there was a problem there is a high probability that it was ice damming. Ice dams form when melting snow on a roof runs off and refreezes at the edge of a roof. This condition occurs when the snow is melted by a warm roof, creating water running between the snow and the warm roof surface, then freezing and turning to ice when it gets past the exterior wall and hits a cold unheated roof edge or gutter. As the bottom of the snow pack continues to melt, water continues to flow down the roof surface until it hits the ice, thereby creating a larger and larger ice dam. If this situation continues, the ice can work its way back up the roof edge, get under shingles, melt and leak into the exterior wall, home or attic. Damage from ice dams may not be readily apparent. As the ice melts and possibly drips into the wall or attic, insulation, outlets, anywhere in the homes interior can become wet and lose ability to perform, in some cases if the right temperature and humidity exist, mold may begin to grow in the attic. It can takes weeks, or months to realize there is a possible ice damming issue. There are many factors that would need to be considered to determine if her problem is in relation to the work that we did. I did offer to her to have someone come out and take a look and give me a call after they come by with there assessment…that was unacceptable to [redacted] and she again explained it would be difficult for her to cover that expense. I did have compassion for her situation, I apologized, but ultimately this was the only was I could possibly assist…by offering to review another professionals assessment of the problem and if it was in direct relation of the work preformed years ago then we could offer a reimbursement, I thought that was very generous unfortunately [redacted] obviously disagreed.

Highlighted in yellow is Premier Siding & Roofiing’s direct responsse to [redacted]'s original written accusations and her comments/slander that are listed under the "Desired Resolution" portion of the complaint: Here is her original complaint copy and pasted: [redacted]: “In September of 2010, this company put a new roof on my home. Within 6 - 10 months, the roof was leaking onto my ceiling in my foyer and near my steps.” PSR: “As stated above the point at which she developed an issue with her home and considering the past and present weather (at this time) the odds are this was not a result of the work that we had done. I feel especially confident in saying that after we received such a small invoice from our worker.” [redacted]: “I notified the company, someone came and looked at it. He stated that nails had been put in "upside down" and that he fixed the problem.” PSR: “It is not possible to put the nails in upside down when doing roofing, unless there were people working in her attic…which there were not. [redacted], the rep that preformed the repair is highly knowledge and has many years of experience, the likelihood of him making a comment such as the nails were installed “upside down” is very difficult to believe. I do not even feel the Revdex.com should entertain this “Complaint” first and most importantly the information in “Complaint” is highly distorted. Secondly, the warranty is expired. Third, we have been there to not only investigate, but we also did the repair properly. Fourth, there is no real “desired resolution” the only way we can appease her “desired resolution” is for us to loose business to people because Premier Siding and Roofing simply
explained that the Warranty had expired and in addition to that we are now working in a completely different state. If your car warranty expires you cannot fault the dealership for not doing something for you for free, especially years after the fact and no with no supporting evidence of any good reason to do something for free. Why should we be faced with, and penalized, with a Revdex.com report for not doing free work years outside of an expired Warranty? I strongly feel this report should be thrown out, its not valid. The Revdex.com is a peace broker between Companies and Customers there is no real “resolution” that she is seeking, how can this peace be brokered? We met our Contractual Obligations to [redacted] we have never done anything to deserve such a destructive assessment of our Company and staff. [redacted]: “Within approximately 6 - 10 more months, it began to leak in the exact same place. I again called the company, spoke with a [redacted], and was informed I no longer had a warranty. I argued that I understood this, but it must not have been adequately repaired the first time. I let this go on for awhile, thinking I had no choice. It continued to leak in the same exact place. I again called and spoke with [redacted]. I have spoken to her about 3 to 4 times since I got the roof after leaving many messages.” PSR: “ I have not one record of her having an additional leak. I have pulled electronic files, emails, phone records, the original file out of storage/archives…no record. Had she really called around the end of 2011 we would have easily and quickly gotten someone over there, no questions asked.” [redacted]:  “The last time I spoke with her was probably September, although I am not sure of this date, at which time she was extremely rude. I will not call her again.” PSR: “I am at a loss for words in how to defend/correct this type dishonesty. It not only effects our Company reputation, it also effects my reputation within the Company and I do not appreciate that in the least. I am hurt that [redacted] would take her comments as far as she has. I love my job, and our Customers! Everyone that she has ever come in contact with within our Company has treated her with nothing but honesty, gratitude, and respect and that includes myself and we as a Company and individuals deserve nothing short of that back, she should retract her complaint against our Company, its simply not right/fair for her to be able to get so upset with us for not working in Ohio anymore and not honoring an expired Warranty and then go on to submit an un-factual/truthful Revdex.com complaint. [redacted]: “I now have to call another roofer to find my leak and fix it, as water is now coming into my home in the EXACT original place of my complaint. The company was located at [redacted] in [redacted] at the time I purchased my roof. I was told they moved to [redacted], pa.” PSR:  “We did leave our [redacted] office at the expiration of our lease and then moved that area branch office to [redacted]. We stopped working in that area sometime ago due to the decline of desired projects. That area office was open from 1999 until around 2012. We do  plan on returning to that area to resume work someday. Yes we do have several other branch locations located in Ohio and Pennslyvania”
[redacted]: “Ultimately, I wanted the company to at least come and see why it continued to leak and appropriately repair it this time. “
PSR: “This is not true, we did go and not only look at the problem, we also fixed the problem.”
[redacted]: “However, I do not feel they will stand by their product,”
PSR: “We have stood by our product and work. [redacted] had no issues with her home possibly before, and after our repairman came to her home…according to the weather records for that year we really put on a good roof that withstood that extreme Winter and Spring weather for multiple years.”
[redacted]: “and I will not speak with [redacted] again due to the way she has spoken to me. I do want other consumers to know about this so they do not have the same experiences as me. There are a lot of roofing companies out there and hopefully they will see this and choose more wisely. “
PSR: “I was just perplexed after receiving a notification from the Revdex.com. We are just devastated that we have to defend our selves in this situation, that we have to defend the truth…it seems unfair. We deserved a better assessment of our Company. We did not mistreat her in anyway shape or form and on behalf of Premier Siding & Roofing, we all appreciate your time and consideration in reading our response.”
[redacted]: "Thank you for this opportunity to tell my situation. I realize that it has been over 3 years since I received my roof, but I felt I deserved at least a visit since I originally complained within 10 months."
PSR: "When she complained we went out and fixed her problem. We were not notified of any further issues until late 2013."
[redacted]: "The leak has remained in the exact same spot. I know I deserve to be spoken to with respect."

[redacted] Docs.

In addition to [redacted]'s email here is my response for [redacted]. I contacted [redacted] on 3/14 around 3pm and we are working together to find a fair resolution. I did offer some ideas, all of which I would have to get approved by Dave, but I am trying to find a fair solution for all parties regardless of who is right, or wrong. One option I mentioned was to have the home resided, or re-roofed, and we would charge our cost...only the price of materials and labor. There would be no overheard, no profit. I even offered to provide invoices to prove the price. I said maybe I could get approved that we would cover half and the [redacted]'s could pay the other half and even pay by a payment plan. Other options include continuing to work with [redacted] to see if they would cover some of the expenses to redo the roof, or siding. I am waiting to hear back from [redacted] and we really do want her to be satisfied. We can continue to update the Revdex.com as we continue to work toward a resolution.
Thank you,

Dave,
Thank you for forwarding this detailed information. To the best of my knowledge I agree with and legitimize these claims.
It was also very odd to me that it was 2 years after the fact of the roof replacement that they contacted with the complaint.
I remember they changed the color at the last minute which is why I sent the fax to change the color originally. Over the hundreds of jobs I completed within my tenure at Premier Siding and Roofing this was the only occasion of such a last minute change and it is impossible in my mind that I would have gone out of my way to make such a mistake. I apologized myself to **s. [redacted] and can understand why it would have been frustrating but I cannot rest any blame on Premier as this was what was chosen by the customer. Any other information I had I already turned over to Premier and I am behind their claims 100%.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I have purchased a home in September 2014 and Premier Siding installed brand new siding on this home July 2014 due to hail damage.  I have contacted Premier and talked to this Melanie M[redacted] and she agreed over the phone that this was Premier siding issue (nail in the heating system) .  I have sent numerous emails and phone calls after a 30 day waiting period because I didn't want to be pushy and assumed they were going to take care of this issue and never have gotten a response from Premier Siding.  I have emails from my  Re-max realtor stating that the my realtor could not get answers from Premier Siding either that I would gladly send to Revdex.com if needed.  If Premier siding can't own up to the damage they have done, they should lose their license for poor workmanship.
I have emails, pictures and contractor statements that can prove that this is a Premier siding poor workmanship issue that I am willing to show, send or prove to anyone available who needs to see them.   I still have the damaged material from this job if needed for proof.
Premier siding knows that this home was sold 40 some days after the siding was installed and this issue occurred with me the new home owner, that this is now my problem.  The leak started from a nail that Premier Siding used to hang the J-channel for this siding job which is definitely poor workmanship.

Melanie M[redacted] from Premier Siding has shirked the responsibility from day one on this issue.  This is still bad workmanship.
Regards,[redacted]

Thank you for your diligence.  Premier Siding and Roofing and I have reached an agreement.  Today they delivered new...

shingles to replace those that must be discarded.  We settled our dispute.
Regards,
[redacted]

Peter W[redacted] from Premier Siding and Roofing came to my home and inspected or hail damage. He left us paperwork to give to our Insurance Co. An appointment was set with him and the insurance adjuster to assess the damage 9am on Monday August 24th 2015. Peter did not show.
The insurance adjuster and inspector said that there was ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN OF HAIL DAMAGE! I called Peter... I told him that the adjuster was here and was asking for him. He said that he came by at 8am to retrieve the contract that we signed for him. I reminded him that the appointment was for 9am not 8am, and that we discussed this over the phone a few days ago, that he would come for the paperwork at 9am. He said that he rang the doorbell and knocked on the door, however, I was in the front room since 6am and never heard a thing! I told him... Either way that he needs to get here asap to explain things to the adjuster, that he needs to take care of this asap. He hung up on me. I called the office number and they have yet to even get back to me.
DO NOT CONTRACT PREMIRE!!! THEY LIE TO GET BUSINESS!!!

I'll start by explaining the original, forwarded email, below. This email is from [redacted], he is the Manager at [redacted] and our Account Manager. They were our main Roofing & Siding supplier at the time we preformed work for the [redacted]'s. When...

[redacted] originally called the office I contacted [redacted] as well as [redacted] was her original Sales Representative (who actually works at [redacted] now) and they pulled her file to see what notes they had in there regarding [redacted]'s claim that we, and/or [redacted], had been responsible for mixing up the color of Shingles. The attached documents are straight from [redacted]'s file. There records, as well as ours, show that [redacted] changed her color at the last minute as per the note from [redacted] who changed the color at the last minute as per [redacted]'s instructions. Also attached is a copy of her Contract, Order sheets, the [redacted] notes and a copy of the crew pay sheet which shows the date the work was done. [redacted] told [redacted] that she really wanted the new Shingles to match, or come really close, to the color of her existing/old Shingles, but she was not sure if that was possible so she picked an alternative color - Charcoal Black. . In the event she did not like the options of like colors then she wanted Charcoal Black Shingles. The only color we could offer her that was close was the Biscayne Blue. She had a difficult time making the decision of weather or not to go with the Biscayne Blue or the Charcoal. She originally chose the Charcoal Black, as you can see from the attachments, but then she called [redacted] and told him to change the color.
Before the work began (unbeknownst to Premier Siding & Roofing and/or [redacted]) the [redacted]'s claim to have both been deployed, supposedly they did not return until shortly before they contacted us in late 2013, two years after we did the work. Claiming we need to replace there roof color and that they had noone checking on there home the entire time they were gone and had no idea the "wrong color" had been put on.   She demanded a new roof, I explained to her we would most definitely need to do our research and it could take some time, but we would work as quickly as we could to resolve this...we would need time to coordinate with a former Company Representative and our Supply Company. I also explained to her that the Biscayne Blue [redacted] Shingles are very nice Shingles and they are more expensive, she had also not had any problems with the roof since it was put on, I asked her to really consider her request, which was to rip off a brand new perfectly good roof, she insisted that if thats what she wanted, then thats what she would get. I told her that if we did find that WE made the mistake we would replace her roof, but it would be wiser to redo the siding on the home since the siding was old and the roof was new and the roof was just gorgeous, she did not agree and simply wanted a different, more green colored roof.  She threatened our Company. [redacted] said if you do not replace my roof at no cost to me I will place a complaint with the Attorney General, the Revdex.com, and with some kind of Army organization that would supposedly protect her and make us give her her way. So far she has made an Attorney General Complaint and a Revdex.com Complaint.
The bottom line is that [redacted] and [redacted] left before the work began and did not check on it until they came home in late 2013. At that point her warranty was expired and more importantly according to the documents that I have and that [redacted] we did exactly what [redacted] requested of us.  I find it hard to believe that they had noone checking on there home while they were away for long especially while they were undergoing exterior construction by a Company that they did not know personally, that is just negligent. It is difficult to believe that noone would be looking after there home for two years.  They should have had someone checking in on the work, and there home, and they should have addressed this two years ago. They also defaulted on there last payment for months, there account almost went into collections which would have damaged there credit. Noone could reach them, they basically went MIA. We did not think they were going to make a final payment, one day months after the work was completed we received a payment in the mail. No communication at all from the [redacted]s from about 11/30/11 until around October 2013..
This is an odd scenario that was difficult to sort out, we tried to sort this out as quickly as possible. [redacted]'s only negotiation was to give her a new free roof and in addition to her threats this situation became very difficult to navigate.   We do appreciate [redacted]'s business, very much, and are terribly disappointed at the outcome of this business transaction. We are hoping that [redacted] takes some responsibility for her negligence and also for what she specicially asked us to do for her and ultimately we feel it would be the right for her to retract her complaints. It is unfortunate that she cannot be happy, at the very least satisfied, with a brand new [redacted] Biscayne Blue roof that is simply perfectly done and only shades away from her original color. We do appreciate your time and consideration in reading our response.

Premier Siding & Roofing

We contacted Mario from Premier (PA not NJ) in August 2016. He inspected the roof for hail and wind damage. We contacted the insurance company and made an appointment for the adjuster. Mario showed the damage to the adjuster.and n less than one hour the insurance had written a check and we had signed a contract with Premier. Premier even waived the deductible. About a week later, Mario and his crew were here. They did an outstanding job. When they were done they cleaned everything up. There was not one piece of debris visible. The roof looks amazing and there are no issues of any kind.

First, let me address the inaccuracies of the response written by **. [redacted]. She states that there is an email attached from **. [redacted]. There is no email attached from **. [redacted], just a warehouse packing ticket, the original request for charcoal black which is scribbled out and Biscayne blue is written above it and a handwritten note that states “!please change [redacted]-ccc roof to Biscayne !Blue! C.E.C Thank you”. None of the documentation provided is documentation from myself or my husband asking to change the roof color. As [redacted] stated, she contacted **. [redacted] who was my original sales representative. I also contacted **. [redacted] and he stated that he has no recollection of the handwritten note that was faxed to [redacted] or me telling him to change the color of the roof. **. [redacted] also stated that if **. [redacted] simply returned their phone calls, they would be willing to work with her to replace our roof. She states that all records show that I, **. [redacted], changed the color at the mist minute. There is absolutely no documentation stating I changed the color of the roof. The only documentation is the handwritten note that [redacted] provided from **. [redacted]. Again, there is NO documentation signed by myself or my husband that proving requested to change the color of the roof.

**. [redacted] also states that there is a copy of the contract and crew pay sheet which shows the date the work was done. This documentation is not attached to her response.
She is accurate in the statement that I told **. [redacted] that I wanted the shingles to match the current shingles on our roof. **. [redacted] stated that the color, hunter green, was not available at the time. I am unfamiliar with the reason, but at that point, I requested the color Charcoal (see attached email), which I also forwarded to **. [redacted]. When I forwarded this email to her, she stated that she would get back to me; she never did and at this point, I filed the complaints. This was one of many unreturned phone calls from Premier. I also left messages on her and her husband’s cell phones without a return call. I also spoke to the manager and he promised he would return my phone call, but did not. I addressed the issue of matching the shingles to the current color, hunter green, with **. [redacted] previously and stated that maybe it was just a color error and **. [redacted] was trying to honor my request and match the shingles to the current color and he chose Biscayne blue. At that point, she stated that the sales representative would NEVER choose the color. She stated that they may suggest a color but would always run it by the homeowner first. The color Biscayne Blue was never suggested to me and I NEVER requested to change the color. **. [redacted] suggests that I should be satisfied with the “Biscayne Blue roof that is simply perfectly done and only shades away from my original color.” I have attached a screen shot of the colors of shingle by [redacted], and you can clearly see that Biscayne Blue is nowhere close to Hunter Green.
**. [redacted] is also inaccurate in stating that Premier Siding & Roofing and [redacted] were unaware that we were being mobilized. I told this to [redacted] on several occasions and it was hard to meet with [redacted] in person because we were in between training for our deployment and home. Documentation of training and mobilization orders can be provided upon the request from Premier Siding & Roofing. Due to the strict nature of orders and all of the personal information, I will not upload them to this site for the public to see.

**. [redacted] is also inaccurate in stating that we had no one checking on our home the entire time we were gone for deployment. Our neighbors did in fact check on our home, and they did in fact let us know that the work was complete. They however, did not know what color the roof was supposed to be. I already addressed this with **. [redacted] when she previously stated I should have had someone watching my house. My priorities were having someone care for our six month old son, not manage a company every step of the way as they replaced our roof and siding. She calls me negligent for this. I do not see myself as negligent; I see myself as a concerned mother and Soldier. I would hope that a business would do as contracted, not put that burden on me and label me as “negligent” for their errors.
When I originally contacted **. [redacted], she said she would have someone come out to check the roof right away. The person (her husband), never showed up to meet with us. At that point, she did not say anything about replacing the siding of our home. It was later when I called about the no show that she stated that he was coming to look at the siding to see if it would be “easier,” which I assume cheaper on their end, to replace the siding. As she said, I did tell her that I did not want new siding; I wanted the roof replaced for what the original request was, Charcoal Black.
She is also accurate in stating that I told her that I would contact the Attorney General and the Revdex.com. I however did not state that I would file a complaint with the Army. There are no channels through the Army system that deals with civilian cases. However while mobilized, Soldiers are protected by the Soldiers and Sailors act.

As she stated in her reply, we left before the work was started or completed and did not return until 2013. That is beyond our control because of pre/post mobilization training. When we came home, I also took it upon myself to try to do everything to make the roof match. I repainted all of or shutters, which were previously hunter green to match the original roof. I also replaced the canopy on the playhouse in the yard. It was too expensive to replace the awning. There is nothing cost effective we can do would help to make the Biscayne Blue roof match our house. These changes are another reason of the additional lapse in time.

**. [redacted] is also correct in stating that we were default on the last payment. This is because the completed work order was never faxed to our insurance company to receive the last payment. We had to prove the work was completed before the insurance company would release the last payment. I was unaware this was not faxed in and as soon as I found out, I sent a check out of my own pocket to pay off the balance. We did not go MIA, but we were hard to get a hold of due to training in the field where there is no reception in many circumstances. She stated that there was no communication from 11/30/11 until October 2013. This is a completely inaccurate statement and I have text messages to and from [redacted] to prove this. It is apparent there was communication during this time, they contacted me for payment and payment was made.
**. [redacted] is also correct in stating that my only negotiation was to give us a new roof with the color that we originally contracted. Her feeling of “threats” were simple statements that I would file a complaint in which she responded, to go ahead because they would do nothing to help us and that they do not handle this type of complaint. I find it hard to believe that we, as a dual military family that was mobilized when the work was done cannot get assistance in correcting an error that was clearly not ours. I sincerely hope that Premier Siding & Roofing takes some responsibility for their negligence and completes the work as originally requested and contracted. **. [redacted] requested that I retract my complaints with the Revdex.com and Attorney General. I absolutely will not retract my complaints until this is resolved and done as originally contracted. Thank you for your time and the opportunity to let me provide a response.
Respectfully,
[redacted]

Premier Siding and Roofing, formerly of 152 S. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA, CEO David Myers.
Hired after hail storm Nov 10th, 2011 to replace three roofs. Premier had the lowest bid so Friends Cove approved them. You get what you pay for! Nothing but problems from day one! I had several "roofing" issues after a million calls he may return one and refer to a co-worker, "not too far away"?
He sends out one of two flunkies, Victor Rodriguez or Peter Welsh, they come and do sub-per work and leave! Our whole roof now has major issues and we get the phone shuffle from David Myers. I finally told him I am not happy and will settle this myself one day. Revdex.com useless. PA A.G-useless! This company is being sued by more home owners across the nation than any other roofer, period! Buyer Beware! I look for this knuckle-head to file for Bankruptcy any day, if not already! Storm chaser that sub-contracts to halfwits and then pockets the profits and runs! He has had more office locations across the US than any other company in history! I finally got 14 more estimates to try and undo this major _ _ _ _-up! Six years I have been trying to get this _ _ _ _-off to be a man and fix this, or at least come and face me eye to eye and tell me nothings wrong with this roof! Ha! What a joke! Paint a target on this piece of work...

Review: We had hail damage to our roof after a July 2012 storm. Insurance paid for our new roof. Part of our contract was to have Premier replace any plywood that was rotted or damaged. Premier replaced the shingles in Oct. 2012. They did NOT replace any of the warped/rotted plywood. Without our knowledge, they merely shingled over the bad boards.

The shingles looked fine at first. The problem is that Premier replaced NONE of the plywood. We knew we had to have some replaced, because we had water damage on our ceilings. That's why we put it in the contract. Now, summer of 2014, the roof has buckled (buckling first noted in fall 2013) so we consulted with Premier, our insurance adjuster, and 3 other roofing companies. On my initial call to Premier, Melanie M[redacted] said that our problem was from "ice damming." How could she possibly know that as a result of a phone call? I asked someone to come out to look at it. Dave M[redacted] came out, and without getting on the roof or into our attic also called it "ice damming" and "an act of God." Then he said that the roof was out of warranty. The other 3 roofing companies AND our insurance company adjuster all claimed that it was definitely NOT a result of ice damming; rather, it was a result of on-going deterioration of the plywood that had not been replaced as had been specified in our contract. In fact, 2 roofers took pictures of MANY sheets of plywood that should have been replaced, but weren't. They also took pictures of a broken roof truss. Our insurance adjuster called Premier on numerous occasions on our behalf. No one from the company got back to us. In his sole email, Dave had said that he'd "check our files and get back" to us. Nothing. He told our adjuster that he would go into the attic and replace the one plywood sheet that was buckling the roof. Then he told the adjuster that I was being unreasonable, expecting him to stand by this roof that wasn't even 2 years old. Mr M[redacted] told the adjuster that the roof was out of warranty. However, the roof started to buckle before it was even a year old. Should I have called as soon as I saw the buckling? Yes. But someone told me that the bucking was due to the shingles not having yet settled properly.

The upshot is that Premier is doing NOTHING to help us out. We need to rip off perfectly good shingles (which have a 30 year warranty) in order to replace all the bad plywood and fix the truss. I would expect that Premier would shoulder some of the responsibility and costs of the complete replacement of this "new" roof. My contract clearly states that Premier was to "replace rotten plywood...."

I filed a complaint with [redacted]. They wrote to the company, but never received a response.Desired Settlement: In my [redacted] complaint, I stated that I would settle for the reimbursement of the new shingles that I must now purchase, since I must rip off perfectly good shingles in order to fix the underlying plywood sheets and broken truss. The entire job has been estimated at close to $17,000. I have asked Premier for reimbursement of $6,000 to cover the cost of the new shingles.

Response:

Thank you for your diligence. Premier Siding and Roofing and I have reached an agreement. Today they delivered new shingles to replace those that must be discarded. We settled our dispute.

Regards,

Review: Premier had incompetent employees replace the roof on our home and garage in the fall of 2011, and it forced water into the window frame areas, which ran in through the log wall for an entire year because they would not come back and fix the step-flashing. Finally we had another contractor fix not only the step-flashing, but we had to replace two windows, treat our log house for carpenter ants, live in our home with a room completely unusable for the last 5 months. We have diligently tried to have the owner reimburse us for the damage. He spoke to us two times and promised if we sent the copies of the expenses he would pay us, to date he has not. With each attempt to communicate with him he has ignored us, or had a woman contact me and tell us they wouldn't reimburse us. What we are asking for is the reimbursements just for the repairs we had to pay for because of their workmanship. The ridge vent nails are too short also, but to date has not caused any damage. The job was not completed as per our requests within the time frame they promised, and several other requests were ignored or they did it other than was requested.Desired Settlement: Reimbursed for Labor & Materials:$1,126.87 Windows:$806.62 Wood for interior window trim:$28.52 Insurance Deductible:$500.00 Total:$2,462.01. Materials that we did not have to purchase at the time were not include in the above total.

Response:

First of all there home is built like a log cabin, its a wood home. He had existing problems with his wood and a Termite infestation and it quite severe. The wood was so rotten and Termites were so bad that from a professional standpoint we estimate these issues were ignored for many, many, years. We did the roof and after that he said that there was a problem in his garage where Termite dust was falling in his garage he thought, it was from our work. We went back out to house and we found a rotten window sill that we suspect was eaten by Termites. We replaced the wood and repaired the window sills and that was that. Then a year latter [redacted] called us and said that after the Hurricane Sandy came through he was having more problems in the affected areas and that he had already contacted his Insurance Company and filed a claim and they came out. He called us and said that the Insurance Company said it was our fault and he had a bill from his Insurance Companies and that we owed him about 3500 dollars, plus 500 dollars for his deductible for his Hurricane Insurance Claim. We asked [redacted] to please fax us the bill and if told him that if we owe this we will take care of it. We received the bill and contacted insruance comapany to verify [redacted]'s claims and the Insurance Company, specifically the Adjuster that visited the home after Hurricane Sandy and issued payments for repairs, said no the damage was from Hurricane Sandy. The homeowner even sent us the insurance apperwork showing the damage was from Hurricane Sandy and the Insurance Company paid them 3500, minus there deductibel. The Homeowner keeps insisting we that the insurance company has sent him a bill for 3500 dollars plus there 500 dollars for there deductible. 95 percent of our work is Insurance Work so we knew his iformation was false and that the money that was coming from Insurance Company to Homeowner to repair damages from Hurricane Sandy. They even told us they have already completed there repairs. Even if we give them an additional 3500 dollars plus 500 dollars for the deductible that would be a double payment and most importantly Insurance Fraud. There Insurance Company even spoke with them about this. They continue to threaten us that if we don't pay them they would trash our Company name through Revdex.com complaint, legal recourse, and any other means they could find - almost like blackmail. There issues have nothing to do with the work that we did. At this point there warranty has been expired for almost two years and because of the liablity of the situation we can no longer continue to visit the property. There will be no payment given from Premier Siding & Roofing to the [redacted] for anything. If they continue to insist we owe this money, we wil have no choice but to report potential insurance fraud to the authorities and all other organizations in relation to Insurance Fraud. We are a good Company and we take care of our customers even long after there warranties are expired, but we do not give into blackmail. At the end of the day they tried to deceive us with the insurance paperwork by saying it was a bill. It was not a bill it was actually an insurance payment directly to Homeowners for damamges incurred through Hurricane Sandy. Luckily we have enough knowledge of the Insurance Industry and knew better. If we owed [redacted] or any of our customers we would have glady taken care of it before it got this far. Our Company reputation is extremely important to us.

It would be nice if someone could figure out who is responsible for the area I live in. The job was completed in [redacted] PA, but apparently their main office is in OH. This has been taking a while to even get acknowledged. I thought when you sent a complaint to the Revdex.com it was to be handle promptly, apparently not in this situation.
