Premier Soccer Camps by the Ocean

This is an absolutely fantastic business and camp. My two daughters went to their camp in Carlsbad and called it outstanding. I observed their operation during registration and then watched the evening training sessions. Their administration was very organized and their coaches excellent. My children play club so we know quality soccer programs when we see it. Premier Soccer Camps runs a high quality soccer camp and I will recommend it to all my friends.

For my family, this has got to be one of the best soccer camps in the country. I just signed my 2 boys up for their Carlsbad location for our 4th year in a row. The coaching staff at Premier Soccer Camps has been excellent each and every year. They typically bring back most of their staff year after year with always few new coaches to mix things up. I have come to know the Director well over the past years and Dennis Lukens keeps his camp extremely well organized with the campers supervised always. Every year that I drop my boys off, I know they are safe and will have a great time with a high level soccer experience as that has happened every year they have attended. My boys started attending Premier Soccer Camps at 11 years old and 12 years old. They are now both playing ODP in Southern California as well as playing HS soccer due in part to the time they have spent with Premier Soccer Camps. I have always recommended Premier Soccer Camps to our friends and to my son's teammates with many of them also attending in the past. I will go on record as giving Premier Soccer Camps my highest marks as a soccer camp and as a business.

Review: We paid in full for our child to attend this soccer camp, which [redacted] cancelled two weeks before the session was scheduled to begin. The camp's policy clearly states that they will provide a full refund for any cancelled camp. Despite five requests in writing and more than 110 days since the camp was cancelled, we have not received a refund. [redacted] has replied to one email quoting their return policy (which again states a full refund will be made), and to another saying "you will be refunded." But to date, no refund and no return emails or phone calls in response to our repeated requests.Desired Settlement: We request a full refund, in keeping with the camp's written policy, for their cancellation. Because no product was provided -- they cancelled the camp -- we request our money back, as stated in the camp's own policies.

Early Bird Special is a scam. Do not pay this Camp!!! I am waiting for my refund since May 2013. Countless emails promissing a refund and as of today, no refund has been returned...

Sent my two children there last year in 2013. They had a fantastic time and thought the instructors were awesome. I dropped them off the first day and met Dennis Lukens at registration and he was a gentlemen and very helpful. The facilities were outstanding!!! I will send my children again and recommend Premier Soccer Camps to their friends without hesitation. I will sign my children up again this year for summer 2014.

Outstanding camp. This is the best camp that I have yet to send my daughter who is 13 and playing for a club. We have done multiple day and residential camps in the past and none compare to Premier Soccer Camps. Everything from top to bottom was A+ beginning with their communication and ending with their coaching staff and instruction. A really great value and we will sign up again for 2015.

Review: We paid for my son to attend Premier Soccer Camp in August 2013. The camp for the week of August 11th was cancelled at our dates/location. We requested a refund of $250 as soon as we found out 7/29/2013. The policy (provided below) clearly states a refund should have been provided in 30 daysTerms and Conditions and Refund Policy:If your child can not attend due to a medical condition or injury verified by a doctor or we cancel a camp for any reason you will be refunded 100% of your tuition within 30 days of your request.We have sent numerous emails and left many voice messages. On April 10th, we received the following message by email:I will get your refund to you within 2 weeks. Sorrry for the delay.[redacted]Desired Settlement: We request a refund Check for $250.

WARNING - DO NOT PREPAY 'THE EARLY BIRD SPECIAL'! [redacted] promised, in writing, a full refund within 30 days if we decided not to attend the camp. My son got involved in other activities so we cancelled in May, 2014 and have been waiting since then for our $475 refund, including several follow up emails. We have received $0!

My daughter attended last summer (2015) at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy . Should have been a program for 13-14 year old girls.

Turned out to be a mix of boys and girls ages 10-17.

She never played with the correct size ball. Never has 11X11 as advertised with girls her age.

They never used the swimming pool at MMA. As advertised.

The whole thing was a sham and a rip off.

This camp was an outstanding experience for our Boy's High School Team from Southern California. We brought 22 boys ages 15-17 to Premier Soccer Camps in Carlsbad the first week in August 2013. We got all we expected and much more. Their coaches were excellent and facilities as good or better than any camp that I know of in CA. We raised part of the money (25%) through a fund raiser (car wash, ect..) and the balance (75%) was paid for by our school. We paid the deposit up front. We arrived in 3 vans with our 22 players and 3 coaches. It turned out that our balance payment that was due of more that $7500 sent from the School District never reached Premier Soccer Camp's office. So there we were at registration owning more than $7500. Mr. [redacted] greeted and welcomed us. He allowed all 22 players plus 3 coaches to attend camp even though we owed a significant amount of money. He said "No problem". We got food, lodging, Nike ball, Nike shirt, top-top coaches just like all the other 100 campers. Everything we were promised was delivered. They could have turned us away at registration and they did not. The School District had to issue a second check and Premier Soccer Camps was paid in full the next week after we had left. These guys and Director [redacted] run a wonderful camp we have only postive words to say about them and their operation. As a High School soccer coach for 12 years, I would recommend Premier Soccer Camps to anyone, any organization or team that is interested.

Going to send my kids again to this fantastic camp. My sons first went two years ago. Each year the camp was absolutely outstanding. My boys cannot say enough good things about the Camp. Highlights for them were the staff, facilities and program. They raved about the coaches who they felt were the best that had ever trained them. For me their communication and the prompt return of phone calls and emails was really important. I have and will recommend Premier Soccer Camps highly to all my friends.

Could not have been a better camp. Absolutely outstanding experience for my 14 year old daughter. What was best was the really focused individual instruction given to her by the coaches who she described as the best she has ever had. Facilities were the best soccer camp facilities I have come across. I give Premier Soccer Camps the highest marks. My daughter tells me she wants to return for 2015.

Review: Was informed the Soccer Camp we had signed up was cancelled in July 2014. Was told I would have a refund issued 30 days after notifcation of the camp being cancelled. I have followed up many times only to be told the refund would be issued in a few days. Last email/phone conversation it was stated on 10/1 I would recieve tracking information for the refund. On 10/2 I attemped to email and call the director. He followed up on 10/3 telling me to contest it with my Visa card. After I said I was filling a complaint with the Revdex.com he said he now is trying to partial pay back. I have no reason to believe he will follow through with the payment.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $525.00 owed to me due to the camp being cancelled.

We sent 24 players from our club and we loved it and almost all gave it rave reviews. Of course you can't please everyone in a group of 34. However, our club (large So. Cal. Club) has overwhelming decided to return for 2015. Most of our group has already signed up and paid for summer 2015. I think the ingredients that made this such a success was the outstanding facilities, high level instruction and a staff that really cared about each and every one of our players. Our players had fun, but they were well supervised and definitely improved in just one week.

I came across this Soccer Camp in September 2014 and reached out for more information. I was contacted by [redacted]who portrayed a program which sounded very interesting and matched perfectly the dates I was looking for. He offered an early discount which also sounded great. I paid via CC for two weeks and then a few months later went onto his website and noticed that the dates were different than what I had signed up. I reached out multiple times via email and phone. I ultimately had a conversation and was told "was having issues with the webite" and was assured camp was being offered on the dates I had signed up . After a few more weeks, the website was still reflecting different dates. Again, after multiple calls and emails, he finally admitted that the dates were different and not offered duing one of the weeks in quesiton. I then asked for my refund - which he states is paid within 30 days. That was over 60 days ago and after reading about others experiences , that money will take a long time to be refunded , if ever.

How disapppointing .

Brought my 14 year old son and his two friends after my son found this site on the internet. Always a little skeptical when trying out a new experience or business. All I can say is that this business Premier Soccer Camp by far exceeded any expectations that we might have had. The coaches were absolutely outstanding, the facilities were just super. The organization was prompt and accurate in all their communications. Everything we were promised was delivered. I give Premier Soccer Camps the highest recommendations and will refer my friends and my son\s teammates to this camp withoug hesitation. It was a great camp and experience for my son and his 2 friends.
