Revdex.com spoke to Hugh todayHe stated that the stain on the ceiling is being fixed

My salesperson, Chris, has been very helpful during the entire experience His suggestions and explanations were clear and concise He even came and helped me move furniture to clear a path for the needed space for the window installation The installers were polite, neat, clean, hardworking and considerate

We had several windows and a bay window installed by Premiere Yankee There were some problems with the bay window and Hugh Foy, himself, came out and discussed our problem and then sent someone to assess the problem: it was timely followed up with one of his installer coming back and remedying the problem We are pleased with their handling of our complaint I would recommend that as a customer one have the work order fully describe the window details with style numbers and that one ask for a pamphlet showing what the window style will look like The salesman can spend too long making his sale pitch and confuse the price and fatigue the buyer Writing down his figures helps keep things less confusing We previously had our car garage sided by them and the materials were a higher gauge than box store siding They did an excellent job and left the premises cleaned up

Regards, *** *** Please see attached details and pictures of old and new windowsConsumer's rejection was in file dated 4/15/16:April 15, 2016Dear Premier Yankee, We have read your response to our concerns regarding the windows that were installed in May of 2015. Customer
did NOT put off installation of windows in March, we called Premier
Yankee in April as we had not heard from our Salesperson, Alec, and had
not been given a date or time for the installation Hugh, the general
manager, apologized and said that Alec had been out ill, and his
accounts were behindThey were trying to catch up with his work and
expected to install in May. Tom signed the completion order with
comments that we had a cracked window, were missing clips, and what they
installed in the master bedroom was awning windows, not a light
slider as it statedWhen Julie got home and the windows were opened ,
then it was noticed that the awning windows in all of the bedrooms
opened only inches , not as promised to “replace “ what we had as
original awnings that opened inchesWe immediately called Premier
YankeeMatt and Glen returned and agreed that these windows did not
open as promisedWe were billed for these windows and paid one of the financers, but
had told premier Yankee that the job had not been completed as the
windows did not open as ordered, there was one double hung that was
cracked , and we were missing clips and the Lifetime Warranty papersPremier
Yankee obviously admitted there was a problem with the windows opening,
as they tried to get new arms to solve the problem and get them to open
the inchesHowever when they came to install the arms, it was
discovered that they were exactly like the ones we had , no different
It is our understanding that these “CUSTOM” windows are made here in
Syracuse NY, at their parent company ALL Steel , hence we cannot
understand why Nothing can be done about making these windows OPEN
There is only ONE window in of the bedrooms and now they open half of
what they used to before they were replacedWe Did not pay for
the windows as they Still were not what was promised, and the cracked
double hung window had not been replaced(it was finally replaced in
March after they sent us to collections). We are extremely
disappointed with this companyI would expect them to make the windows
Right, as now we have a Lifetime Warranty (for which we still do not
have paperwork stating) of windows that do not openWe have no problem
for paying for the windows that are correct, which we have been doing ,
But expect Premier Yankee to make this right, not just say oh well there
is nothing we can do, so pay for themOtherwise we would expect a 20%
discount from the second financier. Regards, *** *** *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does  resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am satisfied that we have been removed from their call list, BUT Their response that we had set up an appointment is FALSE.  WE have a fairly new custom built home that is maintenance free and is loaded with upgrades.  WE WOULD NEVER HAVE SET UP AN APPOINTMENT WITH ANY ONE FOR ANY IMPROVEMENTS.
Regards,
[redacted]

We checked with the building inspector and he said then since the house was built in 1965 , they could not enforce code on an older home . I have found contract , not much to it , and the wrong windows are on it. We also do not have any of the "life-time" warranty papers that were promised.  I will fax to you before I leave work today . Not sure what we can do about the windows that only open 11 Inches vs the 33 inches they used to. Thank you   *** ***

Revdex.com of Upstate New York 100 Bryant Woods South Amherst, NY 14228 Attn: [redacted] Re: Complaint #[redacted] from [redacted]           Hi [redacted], Per our discussion via phone on 1-28-16, I have told you we believe Mr. [redacted] has an ulterior motive in contacting the Revdex.com to file a complaint.           Mr/Mrs [redacted]  contacted  Premiere Yankee through their granddaughter, a Premiere Yankee empl**ee, on 10-6-15 to receive an estimate on a new front entry door. The [redacted]s decided to purchase the door on 10-9-15. Premiere Yankee installed the new entry door for Mr/Mrs [redacted] on 12-16-15. Mr [redacted] signed a completion certificate on 12-16-15 stating he was satisfied with the materials and installation.           On or about 12-18-15, Mr. [redacted] contacted Premiere Yankee stating that the door was leaking air around the “oval” window in the door. We immediately (within a week), scheduled an appointment for a technician to stop by and service the door. Upon the technician inspecting the door for leaks, he found out there wasn’t any leaks… it was a breezy day – no leaks. Service Completed.           On or about 12-28-15, Mr. [redacted] calls in to say the door wasn’t  installed Properly, that he wanted it fixed…. We then scheduled a service for after the new year.  Our service technician’s arrived at the [redacted]’s on 1-14-16 and Mr. [redacted] went on to communicate to the installers that he had installed doors before and this door wasn’t installed properly. He showed our install manager that there was a larger gap at the top right of the door, compared to the top left (approx’ 1/16” difference). Our Install manager went on to show Mr. [redacted] that the door had the same space on both sides of the door (verticle spaces between door and door frame), that the door was set properly. The reason there was a small gap difference on the top of the door was because the house had settled over the years and the opening was no longer square. However Mr. [redacted] wouldn’t accept that answer and asked them to work on the rough opening of his home, which they did. They removed the ranch casings around the door frame and forced shims between the rough opening and door frame at the top right corner. They reinstalled the trim and Mr. [redacted] was happy with that…           Later that day, Mr. [redacted] called the office screaming at my assistant, calling us a bunch of mns! He expressed to my assistant that he wanted Mr. F** to come out to his home. I called Mr. [redacted] the following day and set up an appointment for 1-26-16. Upon my arrival, Mr [redacted] met me at the door and said the door wasn’t installed properly. So I went on to inspect the door and to my professional opinion the door was installed perfectly! The door looked beautiful, opened and closed perfectly and locked perfectly! I went over this with Mr. [redacted] and his comment at that time was the door should not be tight at the bottom, he went to his desk and grabbed a sheet of paper, placed it under the door and closed it. He then showed me that he couldn’t remove the paper and that the paper should slide out. I was kind of shocked by his statement, however I notified him that this door has a Triple Bulb Contact Seal on the bottom of the door and seals against draft in 3-areas, his response was….oh!  After that Mr. [redacted] and myself had a friendly conversation about other things in life, the door issues had been handled.           Before I left the home,  I decided to ask how [redacted] was related to him, he said it was his granddaughter . He then went on to tell me that she’d be still be working for us if we didn’t swear at her, and that she had to leave us because of that (he expressed  emotion). Again, what a shock to hear this.           I was close to [redacted] and don’t believe what she told him. [redacted] accepted a different position with the company and wasn’t being very productive at it, and decided to quit.           I very much believe Mr. [redacted] is trying to get back at Premiere Yankee, because he believes his granddaughter  was mistreated and dismissed. As a matter of fact [redacted] has shown interest in coming  back to her original telemarketing position.           We Install approx’ 100 doors a year, our installers are very good and are very experienced at doing so. I have been in the business for 23-yrs. As a company we stand behind our installations and believe this door is installed properly.           Sincerely, Hugh F[redacted]  President of  Premiere Yankee

I was very happy with the salesman's presentation. It was low pressure, he gave me accurate estimates in a timely fashion. Also after meeting the technicians I felt satisfied with their plan of attack, they executed the removal of old units and had great ideas for the new designs.
After the work was complete the areas around were very clean and well taken care of. The guys did a really nice job. I would highly recommend them if you need to change your windows/doors.
The overall job/performance was outstanding and very professional!
P.S If you have noisy neighbors, you wont be hearing them as much. (:

Why is Premiere Yankee of Syracuse making robo-calls to Rochester? Is there not enough of a consumer base there in Syracuse? My roof is new, my windows have all been replaced, and we have plenty of reputable siding companies here in Rochester. I'm not a customer of Premiere Yankee now, have never been one in the past, and won't be in the future. Please stop calling me!

Hugh F** called Revdex.com and said that the consumer had taken the door apart and had fingerprints all over it. This voids the warranty and there is nothing Premiere Yankee can do at this point
