Complaint: [redacted]
I...

am rejecting this response because:  I am accepting what they wrote, except the job is not complete based on the contract.  I have been in touch with Michael and due to the weather, they cannot finish the job.  I will be satisfied when the job is fully complete, insurance has been filed and paid and I pay Prestige.   According to the my discussion with James, the person who set up our agreement, I still need to discuss some discrepancies with Michael.  I still need to fully read the document sent to me about the adjusted costs and the bill they have sent me for the work done to date. And, for the big picture, I was told that the permit was included in the bill and they have been added. I was told the television dish, would be removed and it was left hanging off the roof and I removed it myself.  I was told no monies would be due until the job was complete, all insurance monies were paid and signed off by my bank.  The recent bill has a 15 day due date.  I have not received money from the insurance company yet.  So, I have not paid anything to Prestige.  Michael is working we me now. That is the positive step that I want to acknowledge.  Thank you for that.  Hopefully, the weather will clear up, the gutters and painting will be done and a final bill sent to the insurance company, money received and signed off by the bank.  Then, we can close this contract and all of us move on.[redacted]
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I just spoke with [redacted] last night and expressed our apologies and that there must have been miscommunication when we last spoke. Last we spoke she told us she wanted her siding replacement setup before we moved forward on her roof. At that time we decided not to send her claim into negotiations with the insurance company so that we could speed the process up for her. Her material has been ordered and as I told [redacted] last night our productions coordinator would be in contact with her today in order to give her date of delivery and date of roof completion.

Materials have been ordered and are waiting delivery. At this point in time we can either do the roof as contracted and part way on any other items if you would like or we can come up with a price for cancelling the contract we can both agree on or arbitration.

Your insurance should be releasing all of your money to you today for the work we have completed. We will make sure you have an updated invoice as well so that we can avoid lien proceedings and get our final payment. Thank you

Again we apologize for the length of time however after the siders were not allowed on the property we have been trying to reschedule a time with them that is also convenient for the Homeowner. We are a Contractor not a siding company so it is difficult at times to schedule as we are not allowed to dictate times and dates to subcontractors. We have been working with Eco Home Exteriors (Siders) to hurry and get this scheduled on a weekend which is when [redacted] has stated they are available. We are still waiting for them to give us a certain date and time to meet out there. Also because of the intimidation from the homeowner ([redacted]) the siders will not go out to the property alone so we also have to schedule to have one of our field reps out on the property at the same time as the siders or they will not go. The siders have also stated that if they are not allowed on the property one more time they have no choice but to close out that project as is as they have spent so many wasted trips out to this property as it is. Once we are able to get this all scheduled then we can move forward. Eco Home Exteriors is also checking into the work with the City of Aurora as this was a siding repair and not a complete siding job so they are waiting on a call back from the city to see if a permit is even required as they did not believe one was.

[redacted] I apologize you feel there was a lack of communication however there was a lot of work going on behind the scenes that it seems you were unaware of. Mr. [redacted] your sales rep should have explained to you what the process is for an insurance claim. The dates on your contract are approximate...

dates for a timeline that we try our best to stay within. Negotiations were not completed with your insurance company until august the 8th at which time you moved into production. Once moved into production your file goes in order that it was received in production for work to start to get completed. Your file was moved into production on august the 9th to be exact. At that point in time there were 63 roofs ahead of yours. Since then we have completed 47 of those roofing projects so your production delivery and date of labor is not that far away. Please keep in mind that the storm that occurred on May 8th was the largest hail event [redacted] has ever seen and with that comes timeline issues such as what has occurred here. We still have files that were contracted even before you that we still do not even have final negotiated numbers back from the insurance companies to even move them into production. Now I do understand as a consumer you are only concerned with your home and not the hundreds of others we have which trust me I completely understand however it does play a factor in our industry considering the overwhelming damage this hail event created. At this point in time I would like to be your main point of contact moving forward. I do apologize for not calling you back personally however I do receive hundreds of phone calls on my cell phone a day and dozens of voicemails which makes it difficult but I will save your number into my phone so that I know it is you calling and not a marketing call. Again I apologize for what it seems you have gone through but I assure you that will not be the case moving forward.
