Price Toyota Scion Reviews (28)

[redacted] , First, let me thank you for your business; I am pleased you are enjoying your new Rav I do apologize that the lease tuinspection process may have not been explained to you properly When you turn in a lease, Toyota sends an independant third party out to inspect your vehicle prior to the lease termination When that was done, you should have received information from the inspector regarding any lease end fines that may have applied to you We would have had no way of knowing what these fees would be at the time you renewed your lease with us Because of that, I can't see any liability Price Toyota could possibly have regarding the amount due on your old lease Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions Thanks, [redacted]

Good afternoon, We take these very seriously so, I apologize if this case went overdue [redacted] gave Price Toyota a deposit toward the possible purchase of a new Tacoma that she asked to have locatedOnce she informed us she had purchased elsewhere the dealership credited her the deposit back I hope this closes her case

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Hi Thank you the rack the business is referring was not on the car when it was taken in for serviceIt was put on after If the ago of the car is a reason for it to get damage I guess on its own then the company is selling inferior products When a car is taken in for service and there is a prior damage it is always noted just like when you rent a carThis is not out only Toyota car and the other dealerships always do thisI therefore do not think it is fair for me to pay for half the damage

Again as stated before, the customer and I viewed the available security tapes during the visit, neither he nor I noted any contact with the vehicle Although we take no responsibility a good will offer to pay for half the cost of the repair was made and rejectedWe have no addition statement

In regards to the complaint by Ms. [redacted] , It sounds like our sales associates could have explained the situation... better. We use four different pieces of software to display our online pricing consistent across all display channels. Due to a training issue with a recent change with one of the pieces of software, a few vehicles displayed (including the ones in Ms. [redacted] complaint) were inaccurately priced. Going forward we have locked out the ability (as best we can) for an error like this to happen again. Price Automotive Group [redacted] [redacted]

This dealership has not seen this vehicle in years and several thousands of milesThe warranty period has long since expired

It is clear to me that no damage occurred while being serviced however the
video was not available for the time the vehicle was in our detail
areaThe
area that the vehicle occupied during the cleaning process is clear of overhead
obstacles so I don’t believe anything made contact with the truckThe truck

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAgain I feel the business is trying to side step the issue that has been consistently brought to their attention of "Warp Rotors!" Their claim was to have replaced. I have since moved to another Toyota dealer and they show technically that it was not done. Perhaps to get this resolved is to take before judge since they are not willing to take responsibility. They are correct the last date I was there 4/15/

This has put my wife and I in a difficult financial situation and will affect our credit.  We have made arrangements with Toyota Financial on a minimal monthly payment plan until February 2015, however, we still will need to pay the balance due.  We are both honest people and would never have leased this vehicle if we would have known that previous late charges on the vehicle we traded in as well as mileage, wear and tear after Price took possession of the Camry would be assessed over $1500.  We can never do business with Toyota or this company again, or recommend them to friends and colleagues.  Price Toyota won the lease, but lost a customer and referrals for life.  We now have to get our vehicle serviced there for 3 years in a place we do not feel comfortable or can trust.[redacted]

Price Toyota has not seen this vehicle in over 3 years and roughly 46k miles. Some brake work was performed on a visit in 04/2013 and after that visit in 05/2013 some tires were replaced. No further issues have been brought to our attention.

Thank you the rack the business is referring was not on the car when it was taken in for service. It was put on after.
If the ago of the car is a reason for it to get damage I guess on its own then the company is selling inferior products.
When a car is taken in for service and there is a prior damage it is always noted just like when you rent a car. This is not out only Toyota car and the other dealerships always do this. I therefore do not think it is fair for me to pay for half the damage.

After talking with Ms. [redacted], I was of the understanding that she we going to think about purchasing the Infinity after we repaired it and would let us know.  I apologize if I misunderstood that you wanted us to reach out to you once the vehicle was repaired.  We did take the vehicle back and perform the repairs, which did take a number of days, as the location of the vehicle Ms. [redacted] provided was inaccurate and our Tow Truck driver had to make multiple trips until the correct address was provided.  At this point neither the infinity nor the Lexus are available for sale, but we do have over 400 used vehicles in inventory and I will have a sales associate call you today with options of vehicles in your price range should you decide to continue to do business with Price Toyota.  We will do our best to give you a fair price for your trade in and the vehicle being sold.  I am sorry that the initial vehicle that you purchase without a warranty, failed unexpectedly but I am glad that we were able to quickly take the car back and get you back your original vehicle so you are back on the road.

The response from Price Toyota is unacceptable.  I never asked for a check to pay any mechanic.  From the start, after the vehicle broke down the following morning, all we wanted was some sort of help in repairing the vehicle.  They sold us a vehicle that would not even pass inspection or function for 24-hours past the transaction.  The incident happened on 6/23, they did not come and get the vehicle until at least 6/27 and as of now which is 7/6 I have not heard a peep from them in regards to the Infiniti or any other resolution to the matter.

[redacted],
Thank you very much for your business; we do appreciate you choosing us as the place to purchase your vehicle.  I do apologize that there was apparantly some consfusion regarding your vehicles warranty and rather or not you chose to buy an extended warranty. ...

If you would prefer not to purchase the extended warranty, we can certainly cancel that and the cost would be refunded back to your finance company thereby reducing your overall balance to pay.  In addition, while I'm not sure exactly what happened with your wipers and windshield, we can have our Service Department look at any scratches that may be on the windshield and we can attempt to buff those scratches out for you.
Please contact me if you would like assistance with any of the above listed items and I'll be glad to help you with that.

We at Price Toyota are very empathetic to the situation Ms. [redacted] found herself in.  The vehicle purchase from us was negotiated down from the asking price allowing the even trade to occur.  Our preference is to sell fully reliable vehicles to customers but have found some prefer to...

purchase a "fix-er-upper"so we have a purchase option that Ms. [redacted] took advantage of that identify's most of the vehicles faults and provides the option to repair.  With a surprise to her as much to us, the vehicle failed to work with such as short time, and we immediately offered alternate options (allow her to have her original vehicle back, or for us to look into the repairs needed, and if reasonable for our technicians to make those repairs needed that caused the unexpected failure at our expense).  Ms. [redacted] seemed most interested in receiving a check to pay for her mechanic to do the work.  Because she received a discount below list price for the Infinity purchased cause the increased difference for the Lexus which would not be able to be discounted like the Infinity.   It was not our associates intentions to ever may a customer fee threatened and we will continue to work with our team to ensure every customer has non threatening encounter even when emotions become elevated.  We would still like the opportunity to assist Ms. [redacted] in getting her into a vehicle that better suites her needs if she decides not to keep the Infinity (dependent upon the repairs required).
