I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is semi-satisfactory to me. It is clear they are denying the events of 4/15, the entering of my 'application' times. They claim the application was never done while I was there - it was done, quite wrongly, on 4/18/17.It is clear also that they will continue to protect their employee, and am forcing me to secure copies of credit reports they have. Credit reports they requested/paid for are THEIRS, not the providers. I buy credit reports on myself when needed, I own the reports. I go for a credit card at a store, they pull a credit report, and have, when requested, provided a copy to me. Therefore, Fifth Third can provide them to me.As for what their employee said about what she did (in actually did not) on 4/18, FINALLY, they agree she LIED. It was my call to her that was the catalyst for this mess. I want the "lowlights", especially the LIE, published so all can see, and be forewarned, about dealing with bait/switch activities

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint My review on this matter is:I opened this line of credit for one thing only - and that was to finance an a/c unit, and nothing elseSo, regarding the "use of the account" I do not what is being referred to?I maintain that in September of when I began getting charged interest two months earlier then I had been advised, the first two fee were eventually corrected; the on however on the day I went to visit the branch that had closed early had not been; I later decided not to pay off this account.Next - as far as my credit report goes: It has been updated with correct information; information that was not correct that the time a report was pulled due to a few errors, one new and one older one that had gone undetected - both have been resolved.Besides the fee that had been incurred due to not being able to make my payment timely back in either September or October of which cost me roughly $still outstanding that is owed to me; Fifth-Third now owes me for rejecting my payment to *** *** when that payment was presented to them to be paid initiallyThis has cost me the fees that I had quoted in my last emailWhich amounts to $That too I expect to be reimbursed for in addition to the October late fee that was never returned to meI have no issue with the fees that followed since I thereafter choose to not pay-off the balance I had originally intended to when I showed up with the check that day, when the lobby closed three minutes earlier than the time I could see in the bank, on my watch and on my cell phoneI will not be returning to that or any other branch again, since they are not that close to me.On the note of the student fees - I have addressed this well in advance(Also when you sent November "Rules and Regulations" you failed to send those for the year I began my accountBack then, I was never advised that this expired annually, in fact I was told the default was four years.I have never set foot in one of your branchesWhen I tried to it did not workIt was both a waste of my time, gas and also the fee that I incurred as a result of not being allowed to make my payment that day, and again, I do not plan on returning again anytime soon if ever....It would be one thing if you have not received any direct deposits from my school "recently", one of which has been within the last days to be exact "JANUARY 7, - STUDENT REFUNDS DIR DEP *** ***" IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,825.64The first Student Direct Deposit was a partial deposit, and that was made on "SEPTEMBER 11, DIR DEP *** ***" IN THE AMOUNT OF $300.00So again, as stated before, I will not be setting foot into a branch to bring you a copy of my student id - when you have gotten "Direct Deposits" from my University - *** *** UNIVERSITY - which I am sure is all very easy for you to verify, especially with the information that I have provided you before in the past, and as well again just nowHow else could you be getting STUDENT REFUNDS/DIRECT DEPOSITS, from a school, if I was not a student there?I almost forgot this one too ***STUDENT REFUND DIR DEP *** *** - DATED JANUARY 26, 2016*** That one was only Business days agoIt is ridiculous that you and your company could be so petty, nit-picky and immature to nickel and dime customers this way.Another thing, in all of your attached disclosures, do you not recall the fact that when my average daily balance exceed $1,for which my account has, it is not subject to a charge? Just return the rest of my money promptly, and the way I requestedYou do not get to hold on to it, make loans, generate other business, and continue subjecting me the the fees which you have been and refusing to not return them to me and then threaten more that you are not entitled to in the first placeI will see to it that I get them back, with or without you and your bank's cooperationI promise!Just do me a favor and close out my account and make arrangements to directly deposit these funds into my "real" legitimate bank that I do business with, over at *** ** *** - where I never have these hassles,, or *** ***, or ** ***, or even *** ***Those are all banks that are far worthier of my business where I can actually keep month, rather than having them siphon off my money, the way that you do.I do not want you mailing me a check via "snail mail" that takes centuries to get to me, if at allI will just set up bill pay and pay you that way from now on moving forwardBut I do want the remaining $left on my account, that because I do not have checks with you, I have diverted the majority of most most recent payment, and even paid off a few accounts, just to get my money from out of your bank as fast as I canNow I have already taken care of the savings account, which is now finally at a zero balanceI do not expect to be charged for you to do an ACH or EFT of what is left in my checking account, and before you charge me anything else like "regular" checking fees, since you want to play those gamesThis is exactly the reason why I want to have nothing to do with you guys and I will continue to pursue this course of action against you by also reporting you to the Federal Government.I would be more than happy to provide a copy of my statement to the Revdex.com or whatever other entity, that will further provide evidence and support the fact that you are shady; especially when you know very well that you have been getting money from my current schoolThat is a fact that is far more credible that just a student IDWhen an ID doesn't necessarily mean I am still going to school, but recent funds being transferred electronically from my school in the form of Direct Deposit are definitely proof.Look, you could have asked for a scanned copy of my ID, which is what I provided to you the first time when I opened my account, but it is clear, opening an account is one thing, but once it is opened, that is something entirelyMy entire account has been completed done online, or through the mail, like when I signed signature cardSo why would you now ask me to come inThis is precisely the reason why I do all of my banking onlineNot to mention the fact that traveling an hour and having to take off from either work or school is not convenientSo for all of these reasons and bullet points that I have listed, I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed, and I want nothing further to do with Fifth Third Bank beyond my remaining payments with you for that remaining *** line of credit, and when I am done/good and ready, I will pay that off too, and truly be done with you all forever, other than the fact that I will be filing more "official" complaints against your institution and potentially filing charges whenever possible to being a class-action against these types of methods that you all have taken to practicing; many of them are quite blatantly obvious and I am sure there are more consumers out there who are just as enraged about this as I am I intend to find them and unite in that common "interest" so keep chargingWe are coming for youYou have been warned, and since you cannot do the right thing on your own, then obviously the government has to step in to help you out

*** *** Please add this to my file and also in response to my reply just recently made to Revdex.com regarding Fifth Third Bank.When I included the other two attachment to reflect the:SEPTEMBER 11, DIR DEP *** *** IN THE AMOUNT OF $& the...January 7, - STUDENT REFUNDS DIR DEP *** ***" IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,; plus the...STUDENT REFUND DIR DEP *** *** - DATED JANUARY 26, / Only Business days ago.I did not include the attached statement for back in September for the Fifth Third *** line of Credit where I had been charged $for that month where I showed up with a check to pay off hat account in full, but had been denied access to the lobby when they closed more than three minutes early for the dayI had know I had at least three minutes to spare, but their own clock in the branch as well as my watch and cell phoneHad I been able to make that payment that day, I would have incurred that $fee, and I would not have had any other fees since I had planned to pay off that account that day.When that did not happen, and I realized it was going to be a fight to get them to return those fees to me as wellI decided that I was not going to pay them off and be charged on top of that as wellIn the end, I decided to do something else with the money; and for that I assume the full responsibility of the following finance charges from that point forwardBut I maintain that I hold them responsible if for nothing else, that month.On top of that, when they denied paying my *** *** bill at a time when I had almost four times the amount to cover what was being presented at the time*** *** charged me a return fee of $and another $in interest which all totals together $55.70, before Fifth Third eventually honored the payment submitted days later, but at that point it was past my due date with *** *** and I was now subjected to owing these fees as a result of Fifth Third not making that payment the first time it was presented to them.Together between their September 1, prevention of making my payment when I incurred $charged by them directly, which is in the statement attached to this email, and together with the recent January 22, failure to pay *** *** which resulted in $of fees, I hold them liable for owing me a combined total of $109.52, plus I think they should have to pay me interest for the time that has passed since being billed for these two amounts as a result of their actions and negligence. When I set up this account back in 2014, there was no such thing as re-certifying your student status every year on 12/or your student fee waiver would expireThis is obviously something new that they cooked up to generate moneyWhile I have no problem verifying my student status and that is not a problem to do; I do have an issue with being told I need to go into a branch, not only after my one and only attempt to do so, but also the fact that I set this account up online, and completely through correspondences that were either via mail, talking on the phone or internet and email, such as scanning a photo of my ID when I initially set up this accountFurthermore, I would like to point out the verbiage that is currently found on their website when setting up an account, it states:" This discount will expire December 31st of the year the customer turns If necessary, it can be extended for one year at a time upon verification of student statusAccounts opened by a minor (under age 18) require a parent or guardian to be a joint owner of the accountAs a joint owner, the parent or guardian remains liable to Fifth Third for any deficit or overdrafts on the account, regardless of whether the minor or parent/guardian caused the deficit/overdraftThis includes but is not limited to transactions using debit cards, ATM cards, checks, telephone banking, Internet banking and teller withdrawals."I also maintain that my very own statement provides verification of my student status by the simple fact that it reflects Direct Deposits from my school of *** *** UniversityDeposits most recent as January 26, Between the threats of more fees, and turning a blind eye to what is obvious and right in front of them, not to mention making it increasingly difficult to convey the information they are requesting, because they are purposefully choosing to be so "limiting" in efforts to maximize their profit margins at the expense of customers like myself.....for all of these reasons and more, are exactly why I have contact the Revdex.com, and I think they ratings should reflect that their ways of performing business is anything but "BETTER" for anyone's interests except for their own (furthering agenda).*** ***PSI would like to state again for the record that I would like this checking account closed outI do not expect to be charged to do soI would like the remaining funds to be electronically deposited into another bank of my choice that I also have a relationship with, which will be a continued relationship when I end my checking relationship with Fifth Third and eventually the line of credit as wellI have given them far too much interest from that account alone and containing to allow them to profit off of me anymore than they already have is becoming more of an insult to have to live withI am in the process of seeking out other individuals like myself who have also be wrong'd in similar waysI think there is clearly only one way to get through to money-grubbing types of institutions such as this who conduct such shady business that they walk so fine a line all too often and are so use to doing so, that they are so far removed from the reality that they have even crossed that line a long time agoThanks again for you time and help!

How many times do they intend to "thank me for my feedback"? I heard all of this when I spoke to their customer service department and in both written responses to this complaint Armstrong should simply notify the Revdex.com and me that they do not intend to resolve this issue
