To whom it may concern: I do not accept this resolution because professional career institute responded by calling me a lier and I have told the truth about everything that I wrote in my complaintI feel that they are being untruthful and they have been lying the entire time that I have been conducting business with themThere is no reason that they can not refund my money sooner that days ! I do not have any regrets in my complaint the public deserve to know the truth! If they did intend to ever have a pharmacy tech class than why did they not give me a supply list with the name of the text book that we would be using?? I am not even sure if they ever intended to have the class and they collected money in December for a January 5, class I deserve my refund now. Thank you! *** ***

Please note: It is the policy of Professional Career Institute to withhold an Administrative fee of $[redacted] from all refunds. Ms. [redacted] was aware of the policy and also signed and agreed to it during her registartion process. Her application is attached which she signed.Additionally the policy also...

I refunded [redacted] today as promised minus the 
$150 nonrefundable fee for administrative. [redacted] was aware of this
Nonrefundable fee and signed off on it. This fee includes running a background check and getting her prepared
And registered for the program. This matter should be resolved now.

[redacted] was not in the office to refund me. Her Office assistant [redacted] withdrew $800 from my account instead of refunding me. So I am not waiting on two refunds totaling $1600 which still has not posted to my account. I was not aware of a $150 non refundable fee as [redacted] informed both me and the Revdex.com that I would receive a FULL refund. [redacted] has been holding my $950 since July 28th for a class that STILL did not start. And as of 9/12/14 I am now missing $1600 because her assistant did not know how to complete a refund properly so now I'm sitting here waiting on $1600 HOPING that [redacted] processed the refund properly being that she was having such a hard time doing so on 9/12/14. I guess it's safe to say that [redacted] will not be refunding me the additional $150 which means as of now I am out of $1750. This has been the MOST horrific experience I ever went through. I will be contacting [redacted] and[redacted].

Review: On June 9th I applied for the Pharmacy Technician Training program at Professional Career Institute that was scheduled to start on June 22nd. I kept receiving calls from the Institute the week before class was scheduled to start saying that unfortunately they are going to have to reschedule the class to a different date. they kept rescheduling for 4 months. The receptionist woman told me that I could write them a letter to state I wanted a refund and that she would give the letter to the accounts receivable woman and then they would give me a refund but they would hold $150 as an administration fee,which was fine. However I had taken advantage of the payment program that they had to offer and made $600 in payments for the Program, I had asked the receptionist if I could hold off on making my final $350 payment until half way through the Program since class kept being rescheduled anyway. The receptionist had told me that there was nothing wrong with that, so I waited. After waiting 2 and a half weeks she called me to let me know that since I made payments there was nothing she could do for me and my money could not be refunded. I feel as if this place is scamming people, when you look at there class schedule online it has not been updated since 2013. I have found an alternative route to getting this certification and I just want the money I put in so I can move on with my life.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund since the Business did not preform any kind of service it promised. I went to this institution hoping to get certified to work in a Pharmacy and I feel that the Program was never intended to start at all.

I had asked PCI if I could hold off on my final payment until class had started which I was told was acceptable. If it had been a matter of making my final payment to start class I would have gladly done it. Review: I paid $950 on July 28, 2014 with plans on starting Pharmacy Technician class on 8/4/14. When I got home I seen that the school was advertising the class for $850 on [redacted]. When I called and spoke with [redacted] she told me that she would not honor the $850 special that they were advertising on [redacted]. Her exact words were "It’s like if you buy an item at a grocery store and you realize it was on sale, you can’t get your money back". So I asked her is class still starting on 8/4/14 and she said no they pushed it back til 8/18/14. I had a bad feeling about this "school". I called her back on 8/14/14 to see if classes were still starting on 8/18/14 and she said no they pushed it back to 8/25/14. I called the school on 8/20/14 because I seen that they were still advertising $850 for the course and I asked [redacted] again about my money and why I paid $950 when they been advertising $850 on [redacted]. She gave me the same grocery store line and said she would talk to the [redacted] about it who has left for vacation. I asked her will classes still be starting on 8/25/14 she said no they pushed it back to Sept 15, 2014. Mind you she never called me to let me know about these date changes not once. I had to call her weekly. At this point I was fed up because they have been advertising $850 since July when I paid $950, they had my $950 dollars since 7/28/14 and classes were supposed to start on 8/4/14 and they pushed it back til 9/15/14. I also purchased shoes and uniforms for this course that never took place. At this point who knows if classes will even start on 9/15/14? I asked for my money back. [redacted] told me to send something in writing. I faxed her a letter on 8/21/14 and 8/22/14 requesting a refund. I never heard from her. I called her Monday (8/25/14) and was told she would call me back because she was on the phone with someone. Hours went by and she never called me back. I called her back Monday evening (8/25/14) She claims she never got my request. I faxed the request on 8/25/14 for a third time. I called her Tuesday am (8/26/14) to confirm if she received my request. She said she did and would be refunding my money immediately. It is now 8/29/14 and I still have no received my refund. For all of this I could of enrolled at JSR Community college in Richmond, VA however I missed the enrollment date (8/25/14) dealing with PCI. I would like my money asap and like for my issue to be addressed. Thank you kindly.Desired Settlement: Refund my debit card that was used to pay $950.00 on 7/28/14, or send a check immediately. [redacted] stated that the deposit is non refundable but after all this hassle and PCI holding my money since 7/28/14, I would like $950.00 credited to my account or a check for that price.
