Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have been attempting to communicate with them and several emails have been sent from myself and the businessI have requested we discuss through email as their business hours are only when I am also working and cannot easily discuss via phoneThey are not sending me any info via email other than to ask to speak via phoneI am taking the afternoon off today in an attempt to reach them via phone Regards, [redacted]

She keeps stating that we have enrolled her into the wrong program and we have informed her numerous times that she is in the right program and that it allows for forgiveness (PSLF) proof if filed yearlyWe informed her how PSLF worksShe wanted to argue saying that she has talked to several people stating that that was not soWe assured her all we had to do was send in the information and her past year time would be covered as long as she has made the payments on timeShe asked us to cancel sending the PSLF and told us we should not follow up

The complaint should be against student advocates for their failure to enroll me the correct student loan program, withholding information and advertisementI paid for a service that I didn't receiveEquitable acceptance is the lender in which student advocates usedNeither company will accept responsibility or refund me for their negligenceBoth companies also have had horrible customer service and treated me with such disrespect

I am with Progress Advocates for years, when I signed with them for the Service they explained for me the fees and asked me if I would like to finance the fees, I understand from the reviews some clients wanted to cancel the finance fees because they wanted to submit there own application for free, it is in the contact that you have to pay the fees if the work was done for the first year and you will receive service for years, I am happy as of today with the company and they helped me a lot with my student loans, I dont have time for all the hassle with the department of education, when we ask for service, as Americans we know better that there is nothing for free

We have dedicated and hardworking employees and we apologize to them for this depiction of our services 1) We did not offer to consolidate her loans ( they were already consolidated) We did process her program switch as she requested and as we acknowledged2) Client stated to us that she is a teacher She wanted to be placed in a federal student loan forgiveness program She had that information but here it is again AND she needs to pay attention: The Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program is intended to encourage individuals to enter and continue in the teaching professionUnder this program, if you teach full-time for five complete and consecutive academic years in certain elementary and secondary schools and educational service agencies that serve low-income families, and meet other qualifications, you may be eligible for forgiveness of up to a combined total of $17,on your Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans and your Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford LoansIf you have PLUS loans only, you are not eligible for this type of forgiveness 3) Client needs to read her agreement to pay us for our fees, we are not her student loan servicer and she has that in writing4) She needs to have a discussion with herself before she states she wanted to reduce her student loan monthly payments but not follow a process to achieve that

Client should check with the Credit Bureau's We asked them to remove the report which takes at least days

We believe our reply is sufficient and do not argue with this kind of individual

We completed our services and [redacted] received an Income Base Repayment plan with a monthly installment of $0.00/mo, which started on 8/2/ If that is what she calls "doing nothing" she should rethink the process Also, we are not on her credit report We have no ability to extend credit She financed our services using a third party who probably did not know she would not pay her bill

As you can see from the complaint, the client financed the fees for our services which is a choice she made instead of paying in full She owes that Finance Company and just like a credit card, when you don't pay on time the balance increases It is that simple She refused our help to complete her PSLF form abd we released her from our contract

On 11/20/we called this client to tell her our services got her a [redacted] approval for the IBR program with a monthly payment of first payment to [redacted] was due on 11/15/and we emailed the client to give her the update on her new repayment plan program She has to re certify her income every year to stay in the $repayment to [redacted] That has nothing to do with paying us for our services and she did not pay us in full when we completed this work and still has not completed paying us which she can do at any time

We do not want to discuss this peron's finances here She should check her Non sufficient funds reports

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To whom it may concern, your employees are trained, dedicated and hardworking at misleading, lying to and playing on the emotions of many students who are trying to faithfully pay off their student loans, including myself. To your response #The original person who 1st contacted me and every person after that whom I have spoken with has stated, my loans will be and have been consolidated and I will be and have been enrolled in a Forgiveness loan programThe man who opened this account for me even called it another name, something like the " [redacted] Act"Notice, I stated, "something like" since you like to turn things around into , statementsEven recently, [redacted] from Progress Advocates stated on September 7, 2017, that my loans were consolidated by your company and I told them they were not! He would not let it go! He kept defending that responseSo What does " Process her program switch" mean? Let's be clear, I did not request anything from you guysThe man who first contacted me, may have given me options, but I NEVER called you, looking for you to help me with my student loansYou scouted me out and contacted me!!!! So don't state in this dispute that I REQUESTED anything from you, like I was looking to make up my own deal with your company! That is ABSOLUTELY FALSE! Your companies' offer and promises to me were untrue, and unrighteous and I will not do business with such people and I want to make know to others that your company PREYS on students like me, trying to pay off their student loansThat is not right and unfair! There are better ways to do businessYour company offered me main things:#To consolidate all of my student loans( You did not do this! They were already consolidated in and not by your company.)#Enroll me into a "Forgiveness Loan Plan"(According to [redacted] , who own my loan, they state you have no authority to do so, or make any other changes to my student loanAnd as of today, September 10, 2017, I am not enrolled in any such program!)#Charge me a service fee(An amount that I would pay you monthly until the fee was paidA service fee is NOT an open a line of credit putting me into more debt!!!!!!!)Stop doing business dishonestly! [redacted] RYour ] Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Thank you for reviewing my complaint and getting back to meI authorize your office to send my correspondence and any associated materials to the business and/or refer to other agencies or organizations as appropriate.I currently have a case open with the Revdex.com (Complaint ID: [redacted] ) to have my contract cancelled and $ [redacted] refundedHowever, Student Advocates is not being truthful with Revdex.com I have also brought this to their attention. In the communication logged from the business, they state the following: "We cancelled our agreement and contacted her finance Company to cancel her." This differs from what they actually e-mailed me, which states: Please contact us within days from the date of this letter if you wish to continue our Services without further delaying us Otherwise, we will cancel our services At this time your file is being placed into a possible cancellation status for days until we hear from you or not Your financing agreement with Equitable Acceptance is still active and you need to contact us immediately Please be advised that your student loan payments may change if your servicer does not receive the requested information we have been trying to obtain We hope to hear from you within the next days, please do not delay.I will forward the message to you Regards, [redacted] ***

This is the copy of the agreement [redacted] told me that I did not need to include my husband's income to get a reduced payment amount on my student loans based solely on my income However, this is not the case They always include all income Also, he said that since my grandchildren were living with me and that even though this was a temporary situation that they would qualify as dependents This too was not the case I have additional documentation at home from the Fed Loan servicing regarding the Student Advocates request and outcomes I can get that to you over the weekend

We notified the client that we completed our services and she had a year's worth of repayments of $under her REPAYE plan starting 10/16/ This is a yearly income based program She did not pay in full in and wanted to stretch out the repayment of our fees Then in when it came time to recertify her incomeshe elected to do this herself We would re certify without charge 11/28/client called and stated she wants us to stop her recertification and we told her that does not mean we work for free and she owed us our fees

Client signed up for services on a three year contract, for our assistance in loan forgiveness programs, client was approved for the first year a $month program with the loan servicer Fed Loan Servicing which was approved to begin on 04/07/2016, the client's loan forgiveness program that year was under the Pay As You Earn plan, meaning the program is solely based off of the client's annual gross income and household size, with our assistance/services we received a great program for the client's loan debt meaning based off her income she did not need to make a payment for months towards her student loan debtNow our services state in our legal contract that our assistance is not free, client signed two legal contracts that go over or fees and terms of conditions, the low monthly payment of $the client is speaking about goes to our company for assisting the client into this great Federal loan forgiveness program, there is a phone recording we have on every client's file for quality assurance that all clients understand that the fee of $is for our services and not going towards their loan debt as a payment, initially the client will have two separate payments, one going to our company for completing the work and the actual loan payment going towards the client's loan debtNow the client just recently used our services to assist them into another year of loan forgiveness which was approved by Fed Loans from us days ago, we received confirmation we got the client approved for another month loan forgiveness based program, based off of the client new annual gross income for the year 2017/which increased, the client was approved for the same program Pay As you Earn for a monthly payment of $which is solely based off of the annual gross income the client sent us and the household size, payments of $begin on 01/19/which is the client's responsibility to start paying, we do not make that payment for our client's they were explained that as well as once the Department of Education grants the approval of the program then the client is solely responsible to make that loan payment, we are not a company that pays the client's loans off, we are assistance to client's who have no knowledge on how to apply for these Federal loan forgiveness programs and save the client a tremendous amount of month each year until their loans are paid off in full once they make their qualifying loan payment each month until their term has endedAll work from our company was rendered for the past two yearsThe client received an email regarding her new repayment plan for the new year of and when your payment is due to Fed Loans Servicing and how to make her loan payment to Fed Loans Servicing, the email that was sent to the client, breaks it down and gives the telephone number as well to Fed Loans Servicing to make it easier to make a payment

Client had a student loan that was co signed and others that were not. That increased her payment She did not pay our fees in total and instead financed them. Equitable Acceptance cancelled her agreement for financing and we closed her file

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards,
*** ***

I apologize for not responding quicker. The yellow sticky on the letter had this contact information and I received the Complaint Information without the sticky.*** states that the application we submitted was rejected and that we never reached out to her to address this, however, we see
confirmation that she was enrolled into the REPAYE program with a $payment that started back on 04/19/and the documents that she signed were stated the payment would be $As for a consolidation, there was no consolidation completed by our company since your loans were consolidated back on 07/18/If she is referring to the PSLF form, we reach out to our clients on an annual basis regarding recertification and at that time we follow up on loan status, payments that received credit and PSLF paymentsIf there is an issue with any of our client's PSLF applications that their employers completed in the first year can easily be fixed and cover past due payments as long as *** is making payments within her Income Driven Plan. She also stated that reaching out to her is fraudulent behavior. Please read this link so that everyone understands who is really harming our clients: ***

This is a current client and we are waiting for pay stubs to recertify the income for this year as lower than the paystubs we received. We believe the client now understands that the program is based on income and family size and if that changes, the repayment also changes and is out of our control
