Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. If you would contact the US Department of Education they would be more than happy to share with you that no other company/lender can offer the public service forgiveness program or the teacher loan forgiveness program. Student Advocates enrolled me in the Income-based program which coincides with the loan forgiveness programs, but it is only a step in the process of the program. I have spoken to them several times regarding my matter. This is a federally managed program and can only be completed through fedloans.gov. When I called Student Advocates I was unaware of this information and was told I would be enrolled in the Teacher forgiveness program, which I am not. I was enrolled in the income-based program. Student Advocates therefore is at fault for false advertisement and not providing a service that they could not provide and that they charged me for.

He should read his contract.  We did not create his ID.  He can pay the third party who financed our fees that he did not pay us  in full upon completion of our work.

Client signed up for services on a three year contract, for our assistance in loan forgiveness programs, client was approved for the first year a $0.00 12 month program with the loan servicer Fed Loan Servicing which was approved to begin on 04/07/2016, the client's loan forgiveness program that...

year was under the Pay As You Earn plan, meaning the program is solely based off of the client's annual gross income and household size, with our assistance/services we received a great program for the client's loan debt meaning based off her income she did not need to make a payment for 12 months towards her student loan debt. Now our services state in our legal contract that our assistance is not free, client signed two legal contracts that go over or fees and terms of conditions, the low monthly payment of $39.42 the client is speaking about goes to our company for assisting the client into this great Federal loan forgiveness program, there is a phone recording we have on every client's file for quality assurance that all clients understand that the fee of $39.42 is for our services and not going towards their loan debt as a payment, initially the client will have two separate payments, one going to our company for completing the work and the actual loan payment going towards the client's loan debt. Now the client just recently used our services to assist them into another year of loan forgiveness which was approved by Fed Loans from us 13 days ago, we received confirmation we got the client approved for another 12 month loan forgiveness based program, based off of the client new annual gross income for the year 2017/2018 which increased, the client was approved for the same program Pay As you Earn for a monthly payment of $140.92 which is solely based off of the annual gross income the client sent us and the household size, payments of $140.92 begin on 01/19/2018 which is the client's responsibility to start paying, we do not make that payment for our client's they were explained that as well as once the Department of Education grants the approval of the program then the client is solely responsible to make that loan payment, we are not a company that pays the client's loans off, we are assistance to client's who have no knowledge on how to apply for these Federal loan forgiveness programs and save the client a tremendous amount of month each year until their loans are paid off in full once they make their qualifying loan payment each month until their term has ended. All work from our company was rendered for the past two years. The client received an email regarding her new repayment plan for the new year of 2018 and when your payment is due to Fed Loans Servicing and how to make her loan payment to Fed Loans Servicing, the email that was sent to the client, breaks it down and gives the telephone number as well to Fed Loans Servicing to make it easier to make a payment.

We completed our work in 2016.  This client could pay our fees in full without a penalty but instead pays $39.42 per month with interest.  All that she has to do is complete payment now and avoid finance charges.

This client signed our legal contracts where she reviewed our terms and conditions and given two options to pay for our services for a 4 year service contract. The client could either do a down payment of $495.00 and then 18 months of $39.42 a month or do a finance plan where for the next 4 years...

the client will be making a monthly installment of $39.42 over the 4 years. We record all our calls for quality assurance, all our client's after signing our legal contracts have to undergo a compliance call in which the client goes over all the general information they have given to a their assigned representative to make sure all information given is correct, in the recorded call is the financing portion which the client is explained in great detail of how the financing plan for our service works, I listened to this client's compliance call, the client was told in detail that she is now choosing the financing payment plan for the contract price of $1,314.00 which the monthly payments will be $39.42 per month starting on 03/05/2016 which will be paid over the 4 year service, the client stated she understood the fees and wanted to continue to sign up, all client's once approved for the financing payment plan are sent a welcome package letter which gives the client 90 days to pay the entire contract of $1,314.00 in full instead of doing the monthly service fee charge which does have interest taxed on.
